Good afternoon and welcome are the results show. It is not the result

show, it is the result is a plural show. We will have plenty of expert

analysis from our guests in the studio. How's this for a line-up,

Pat Nevin, Willie Miller and Tom English, the sagacity is seeping out

of them. We will familiarise ourselves with the scores. Hold onto

your hats, here we go. Aberdeen one up on Inverness. Celtic five,

Rangers won in that lunchtime match. Dundee and Kilmarnock, 1-1. St

Johnstone one up a way to Partick Thistle. Ross County have just gone

one up at home to Motherwell. Liam Boyce with the goal. In the Scottish

Championship, and United are one up at home to Morton. Dundee United 2-1

up against unfair and athletic. Falkirk, a goal to the good against

Raith Rovers. And Queen of the South, 3-1 up away at St Mirren.

We'll kick off the rest of the show with that match at Celtic Park, a

resounding 5-1 win for Celtic. We can get the story behind the

scoreline from the BBC radio Scotland match commentator John

Barnes. Celtic blew away their rivals with an emphatic victory.

Moussa Dembele scored twice in the first half before Joe Garner pulled

one back for Rangers just before the interval. Scott Sinclair scored to

restore the 2-goal lead for Celtic. Then it went from bad to worse for

Rangers. Philippe Senderos were shown a red card on his debut.

Assistant manager David Weir were sent to the stands. Saddam Bell

completed his hat-trick to make it 4-1. Stuart Armstrong added a fifth

in stoppage time. Brendan Rogers' men put down a marker with this 5-1

win over Rangers and appropriately the last man of the pitch, smiling

and holding the match ball, was Moussa Dembele, the first Celtic

player to score a league hat-trick against Rangers since Stevie

Chalmers did it 50 years ago. John described that as an emphatic win.

It was an old-fashioned rout. I think a lot harsher view is that

will be put across. Celtic controlled it. They played

incredibly well. If you score a hat-trick you're going to get Man of

the Match. Moussa Dembele's play all the way through was stunning and

what a difference that is going to make for them, not just

domestically, but in Europe as well. Moussa Dembele scoring a hat-trick,

but was again one of lost in the middle? I think it was the tempo and

the pressure that Celtic put on Rangers. They never let them settle,

right from the start. The tempo of the game was superb, and Dembele was

superb, not just scoring three goals but setting one up as well. All of

the challenges they have played this season, and they have beaten

everyone of them and they have been well ahead of Hearts, Aberdeen,

maybe not Hearts... Certainly, Aberdeen and now Rangers. 15 goals

in five games. It is not bad, it is the old Celtic style, going forward,

playing at a high tempo. Taking the sting out of the game when they need

to. When they drive forward it is a pleasure to watch and very difficult

to defend against. They have a game in hand, as well. Was it

embarrassing for Rangers today? Is that too strong a phrase? Not

really, 5-1, it is embarrassing. Some of the stuff that Rangers

produced as the match went on was embarrassing. There defending was

awful. Celtic have been ruthless this season. Dembele, 20 years old,

in his first Old Firm match and Hebrew juices are performers like

that in the absence of Leigh Griffiths. Powerful stuff. -- he

produces a performance like that. This was the first opportunity to

see if there was a gap. We knew that there was a gap between the teams.

It looked like a chasm today. We will see Celtic can keep on going at

that level. Celtic have European football that will stretch them a

little bit more. They get stressed early in the season and they pull

away again by the end of the season when they are out of Europe. I know

that it was a home game for Celtic, but there did not seem to be that

many players in that Rangers team you would say would get a game for

the Celtic team. This is one of the first things you would say. I'm sure

that we will eventually get round to Scott Brown against Joey Barton. It

seemed like a one-sided affair. It was completely one-sided. We

understand that Joey Barton winds people up. He whines everyone up and

he gets lots of publicity for it. But it's about your ability to do it

on the day. He was with the weaker team, but he was miles away from the

standard he was playing against today. And not just Scott Brown.

Celtic won all of the head to heads. We will go back to the Old Firm

later. Now we're heading to the global Energy Stadium in Dingwall.

Maarten is watching Ross County against Motherwell. And it is a goal

from Motherwell, an equaliser. Moult putting it confidently into the

corner. I'd like to see a replay of the challenge. He went into what

Scott Fox. He went down. I am not sure if there was contact at all.

I'm not sure if you can clear that up. It was certainly debatable.

Motherwell back on level terms, 1-1. We can't clear that up, we were too

busy talking about the Celtic five, Rangers one scoreline. I will let

you pick that up again, Tom. It is not just that Celtic have got better

players, but their work ethic is phenomenal. You can have players

coming out of the team. They lose Leigh Griffiths, he is the main man.

He is gone. That is ten goals Celtic have scored in two matches without

Leigh Griffiths. They scored five against Motherwell and there you go

again! I will just keep Tom talking. There has been another goal in one

of our matches. Is it for Partick Thistle or St Johnstone? Kenny

Crawford can tell us. It is a second Thistle or St Johnstone? Kenny

goal post and Johnson. The goal-scorer of the second, a

wonderful goal by Steven MacLean. It was given away in midfield by Ryan

Edwards. It fell to Steven McLean. He had it right footed into the top

corner from 20 yards. That adds to the goal scored by Steven Anderson,

a centre-back, after 20 minutes. That was a brilliant finish from a

tight angle. Two good finishes have given St Johnstone two good goals

here at Firhill. Back to you, Tom. After we have heard from the Celtic

manager, Brendan Rogers, who spoke to Chris McLaughlin after his team's

5-1 win over Rangers today. I thought over every area of the game,

we were very dominant. Defensively, the organisation to press the game

was at a high level. They are good team, Rangers. They have good

players. I thought that the intensity of our pressing was very

good. We won the ball back in high positions. And when he could not win

it back early, the second goal comes from that. Closing down the space,

get set up right and move the ball on the counterattack. The defensive

organisation, apart from the three minutes before half-time, was

outstanding. So great applause to the players for their commitment and

concentration. The goals were excellent. It was real high level,

quality finishes. And like I say, we kept pressing right until the end.

We could have had two more than five. Defensively, there were not

any real problems. So, an outstanding team performance and

result. We will discuss those comments shortly. The gents are

poring over their screens now. The yellow card, and no argument at all.

Up there in Dingwall, Motherwell are back in it. It is 1-1. To be honest,

they deserve it. Motherwell started the game well. It has been a pretty

good game for them. Now they have got an extra man and a free kick.

And they have made nothing of it. Something is being made at the

tawdry. Jonathan Sutherland has an update on the game between Aberdeen

and Inverness. Is it a goal? -- at Pittodrie. Fantastic goal

from Iain Vugrs as Inverness equaliser against Aberdeen. Aberdeen

had taken the lead in the second half with a curling effort from

Niall McGinn. It had been a turgid first half, and the less said about

it the better, but the second half, much better, fantastic strike from

Iain Vugrs to make it 1-1. Three seconds into his first match report

and he gets the plug in for the show tomorrow night. We will all be

watching that. We will hear more from Brendan Rogers on that. Brendan

Rogers saying that his team were dominant. As we said earlier on, he

said earlier on in the press Conference, he was talking about

Scott Brown and Joey Barton. He said Scott Brown does his talking on the

pitch. I think that was kind of a backhander, to anyone who wanted to

play up the contest between Scott Brown and Joey Barton, because it

wasn't really a contest. What did Mark Warburton say in his press

Conference? He was asked, was there a big gulf between Rangers and

Celtic now. He said, no, we see no major golf. That led to some

eyebrows raised. Because they conceded five. It looked like a big

gulf to me. He took Niko Kranjcar off at half-time because he felt

that he might get a red card. He was on the yellow. He spoke about David

Weir getting sent to the stands in response to tackle on Barry McKay by

Mikael Lustig who felt should have been sent off because he was already

on a yellow card. The only problem with that was that Mikael Lustig was

not on the yellow card. So he got that wrong. As the number two as the

club, he should not be getting sent off, should not be putting himself

in that position. All of the pressure is on the manager. If the

manager gets sent to the stand you can understand, but the number two

should not be getting himself sent to the stand. Mikael Lustig possibly

should have been booked in the first half and maybe the foul in the

second should've been a yellow card, but the passions are there, but

number two, you do not get sent to the stand. Another goal, in the game

between mature one and Hamilton. It is a equaliser for the home side

from Jamie Walker. Finally after all the chances created, Hearts have

managed to score a goal. I thought Mark Warburton's team selection and

tactics were quite audacious. You have got Niko Kranjcar and Joey

Barton in the middle. Maybe not quite the legs that they had in the

semifinal when they did have the legs on Celtic. I understood

Warburton's thinking. You want someone with some experience in

there. I can get the thinking. But by half-time, they were 2-1 down,

they had been well beaten but they were only 2-1 down. What I would say

about his comments when he said that there was not a big gap, he must say

that. His players will be looking in and thinking, do they not rate 's?

He must say that. He did apologise to the Rangers fans and he said

Judge cars in May. I wonder if Rangers fans will be thinking about

the comments made by David King about the war chest. They certainly

will be thinking about that after today. There is an narrative around

Rangers that they will slowly build over a number of seasons after

getting back into the Premiership. I am not sure that that will wash with

many Rangers fans. It is not going to happen. They want to be

competitive now. Defensively they were poor. Getting himself sent off,

competitive now. Defensively they really letting the side down at a

crucial time, Philippe Senderos. He never looked after the pace of that

game. He was totally taken apart. And they have had problems there for

a long time. It is an area that they must sort out.

We will return to this subject later. Now for a bounce around our

grounds. First of all, Hearts against Hamilton. It is 1-1 here at

Tynecastle. Walker opened -- Crawford opened the scoring early.

Jamie Walker has equalised for the home side now. Let's head to

Pittodrie and the match between Aberdeen and Inverness. Still all

square there? 1-1 here. The game of the day in the north-east of

Scotland. McGinn opening the scoring just after the second half had

begun. But Ian via goods has equalised for Caley Thistle with a

left foot effort. Now attends Park. Dundee against Kilmarnock. El

Bakhtaoui with his first goal for the club. A deservedly that that

point, but a stunning equaliser from Coulibaly after 32 minutes. Now at

Firhill, where Partick Thistle are at home to Saint Johnstone. It is 0-

two. A solid lead against the team they have lost against in their last

four meetings. The goals came from an un-likely source in the shape of

centre back Anderson. The lead was extended on 64 minutes by a more

likely source, Stephen McClean, with his fifth of the season, a strike

into the top left corner. Now Martin Downie once again. Ross County

against Motherwell. Boyce opened the scoring with an assured strike from

the edge of the box. A spot kick was converted by Moult. Ross County down

to ten men, with Mick Everly sent off. A second challenge on Boyce.

Anyone's game here. I feel a bit site -- story for the Dundee United

keeper this afternoon. All of the headlines for Dembele, but he saved

three penalties! That was the first half of the match away to

Dunfermline. The penalties all taken from -- by different players.

Elsewhere, Hibernian are one up. The other matches in the Premiership,

Aberdeen one, Inverness one... The dons really need one. It has been a

disappointing start to them this season. If you add it to how they

finished the season last season, it has been really disappointing for

the fans of Aberdeen. Inverness Caley Thistle usually do well at

Pittodrie. They usually manage to put in a performance there and get a

result. Watching became the TV, two fantastic goals. The goals were of

the top drawer, but the first half... The second half came to

life. Back home, Aberdeen must be looking to take the three points

today. Two cracking goals, which you will be able to see on the

highlights show. 1-1 between Dundee and kill Marnoch. I am pleased to

see El Bakhtaoui get on the scoresheet for Dundee. I have yet to

find anyone who doesn't love him as a player. He tries things that other

players wouldn't. Really skilful. There are always going to be certain

players when they come on... He is a skilful player and a joy to watch.

This was the big step up. People asked if he could make it. I had no

doubt at all. I know he's slight, but he's good enough. I had my

doubts about St Johnstone going to Firhill. They have a good record

there in recent seasons. Looks like they are on course today. We should

never be surprised by St Johnstone. Sometimes Tommy Wright gets a bit

annoyed because we say that St Johnstone punch above their weight.

How many times do we have to finish in the top five for them to accept

that we are a top five side, he says. You would expect St Johnstone

to go to Partick Thistle. That isn't a surprise. It is actually a

compliment. It is. With the resources he has and the finance

available to him, which isn't a lot. To turn out the results and finish

in the top four... That is what we are saying. It is a compliment to

him. Celtic, Aberdeen and now Rangers. Celtic are in the same

category as Hearts, Rangers and Aberdeen. Slightly surprising,

perhaps, that Hamilton took the lead against Hearts. I am saying

surprising. Looking at Hamilton's performances this season, perhaps it

isn't. The same about Partick Thistle. They have been performing

well and haven't got the results. The finished there was absolutely

phenomenal. Not many players who can... Turned back from the

left-hand side. It wasn't a pass. He was lashed down like a shot, and he

just slipped it on the volley. A brilliant goal. They are under the

cosh a bit now. Almost gave away a penalty there. It looks as if, if

anyone is going to school, it will be Jambos on. We are at Tynecastle

watching Hearts against Hamilton. Do you agree with the analysis?

Certainly with the goal. Clipping the volley into the corner. At that

stage, Hearts must have been wondering how they were a goal down.

They created a series of chances in the first half. Then Jimmy Walker

hit a post after Hamilton had scored. They got the equaliser from

Jamie Walker's header. Totally on top of Hamilton now. A header has

just been cleared off the line. Now let's hear from Jonathan at

Pittodrie. Aberdeen against Inverness. Delighted to hear so many

plugs for Sportscene on Saturday night at 6pm. It has been a fairly

slow first half. Not a lot happened. A stalemate, 0-0. The second half

has been a lot better. Niall McGinn scored five minutes after the

restart, with a fine effort. The Inverness goalie didn't stand a

chance. Aberdeen looked much more in the mood at the start of the second

half than in the first. Having said that, it was soon taken back. It was

a thing of beauty from Vigurs from the edge of the box. A site to

behold, and worth catching on the highlights tomorrow night. Since

then, it has been fairly even Stevens. Aberdeen have had a slow

start to the season. Can they pick things up to any haze has been back

in the reckoning today. James Madison also came on. He was on loan

from Norwich City. He has shown quality in patches. But it remains

1-1. Any advance on turgid, Brian? Dundee against kill Marnoch. It has

been a good game here. Around ten minutes left. An excellent first

half for Dundee. They took the lead after just seven minutes. With El

Bakhtaoui scoring. The Killie defence just missed the ball

altogether. Well deserved at that point, but the equaliser was a

stunning goal. A long ball from Henry into the Dundee box. It looked

to be going over the head of Coulibaly, but the striker thought

otherwise. Ended up in the back of the net. A backward somersault with

a twist was the celebration. Don't miss it in the highlights show. A

double save from Jimmy Mubenga denied Craig White and what would

have been another golfer Dundee. -- goal for Dundee. A long range effort

from Hateley just over the crossbar as well. Not long to go here now.

Enough of the plugs already! Let's head to Tynecastle, with high drama.

It is a panel teats or the home side. A bit of an argument in the

box. Could put Hearts in front. Craig Thompson is just talking,

delaying the penalty at the moment. A booking for in re. He must have

complained too much about the decision, although it seems fairly

clear cut. Walker has put it past the

goalkeeper. 2-1 to Hearts. A goal there. There has been an incident of

note at dens Park. Blue-macro Dundee are having to play the last ten

minutes with ten men. Charlie Adams has now been carted off the field on

a stretcher. On will be coming George Green. Eight minutes left of

playing here, and still piece here. But Dundee down to ten men, after

Gomes is shown the red card. Now to Firhill. Almost 83 minutes gone.

2-0. Two teams who were badly in need of a win coming here. There has

been a lot of recommendations for goals from other games. I would like

to put in my nomination. There is a highlights programme on tomorrow

night. You may know that! The two goals for St Johnstone have been

excellent. The first one from Anderson. He's played here for over

a decade. His goal was a brilliant from a tight angle. Think of a tight

angle and then half it. Then it was Steven McClean with his fifth goal

of the season. Partick Thistle squandered it in midfield. Smashed

into the top corner from about 22 yards. Both goals well worth seeing

again. None of these guys are listening to me. I said no more

plugs! I know we will be able to see this goal tomorrow night, but tell

me what is happening. Just about all the action has been squeezed into

the second half. A brilliant Garner effort that struck the bar. A

the second half. A brilliant Garner typically composed finish.

Motherwell bouncing back with a penalty from Moult. Put in the

corner very confidently indeed after MacDonald went down in the box. It

corner very confidently indeed after went from bad to worse. A chance and

therefore Motherwell. Well saved by Fox. McEverley was sent off after a

second booking. Both sides look as though they are going to go for

this, but neither can get the breakthrough. Time for some brief

respite from the hurly-burly of the Scottish Premiership. There was a

big derby in the English Premier League this lunchtime, of the

Manchester variety. United against City at Old Trafford. There has

rarely been a game as hyped up beforehand in the Premier League. So

much expectation. United started brightly, but it was soon evident

that City would take control in the first half, which they did with

goals from De Bruyne and Iheanacho. It needed a mistake to get United

back into it, and it came courtesy of a cloudy abrazo clanger.

Ibrahimovic expertly steered it home. Read attack, blue attack, and

repeat. Breathless stuff. Ibrahimovic deflected a Rashford

shot in for United, but it was rightly ruled offside. And somehow

City held on to claim a 2-1 win. First blood in the title race,

maybe? And old animosity between Jose

Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. It has never been quite the same with those

two since. If you compare that to the Glasgow derby, you will learn a

huge amount about where the league is going to go from the Glasgow

derby. I don't think it will show you were the league is going to end

up down there. City are favourites in many people's eyes but United

could claw it back. He was sure that was a penalty in that match between

Hearts and Hamilton. Was it clear cut? When Nicholson went down? When

the defender mixer tackle in the box he has got to get the ball, and he

didn't. I thought that Nicholson went down easily. There was not too

much contact. The defender has made the decision to make the challenge,

so the referee has got to make a decision. We might talk about this

in the programme tomorrow! We talked about El Bakhtoui scoring in the

game between Dundee and Kilmarnock. And a goal from Coulibaly sounds

like a cracker as well. Sometimes you see them and they

like a cracker as well. Sometimes times before they go in. We were

talking about El Bakhtoui. They could have that little bit different

about their game, someone who could try something a little bit special.

Kilmarnock, looks like they are on course for another point. They seem

to be made of stern stuff, actually. I spent an hour and a half with Lee

Clark. He's intense. He's incredibly focused. He is such a hard-working

guy. And I think he wants his team to be in that image, hard to beat.

Really hard-working. And we have seen, that is the kind of

performance they delivered against Rangers. We spoke about Rangers and

how it has taken them some time to gel, but he has a whole new team and

they don't seem to be having too many teething problems. It was a

gamble. What is the point in continuing in the same way

gamble. What is the point in Kilmarnock? You would only get the

same results. In the last three seasons they have been ninth, tenth

and 11th, so he needed to rip it up, and so far I've looks like his team

have a bit of steel. For the steel and so far I've looks like his team

man, that would be a decent return for them, 1-0 away to Ross County.

Going to Ross County and coming back with anything, Mark McGeeney would

be happy. It is a tough venue to go to. -- Mark McGhee would be happy.

Dundee, the draw specialists. This would be the third on the spin. They

need to start turning those into would be the third on the spin. They

three points. That's the situation they find themselves in, in the

SPFL. There's not a great deal between most of the teams, if we're

honest, apart from Celtic at the top. Really, anyone can beat anyone

else in this league, so we will get quite a few draws. You might get a

few wins and find yourself at the top of the league beside Celtic. And

it comes down to probably one thing, having a goal-scorer who is going to

score every week. And if you have just sold one, then that there's

going to be difficult, and that is the position that Dundee find

themselves in. Jason Cummings scoring away again for Hibs at

Dumbarton, one of their bogey teams. I was surprised that they managed to

keep Jason Cummings. But not many teams got this far into the season

with so far. Talking about Motherwell as short time ago. Their

match against Ross County in Dingwall has reached its conclusion.

A dramatic match? It was, certainly A dramatic match? It was, certainly

-- certainly in the second half, finishing 1-1. Liam Boyce and Luis

Morte both netting. The main source of inspiration in the first half, a

curling effort off the bar from of inspiration in the first half, a

Michael Gardyne. Then Liam Boyce demonstrated a striking ability with

a composed finish past the goalkeeper. County looked like

a composed finish past the building on that, but then the

visitors responded. Scott McDonald went down under the challenge from

Scott Fox. Moult that the responsibility and levelled from the

spot. Despite that, Liam Boyce almost notched a second. As the

final whistle approached, Ainsworth went close for Motherwell with a

header from close range. In the end, perhaps, a good point from both. We

saw Liam Boyce on the scoresheet again, six goals in three matches.

He is on fire. He is in the Northern Ireland squad, as well. You need

someone like that that can find the back of the net, and then you always

have a chance of taking something from games. He's playing at a higher

level. His confidence is at a higher level. That is what strikers thrive

on, finding the back of the net. Motherwell lost Johnson in the

transfer window, one of their big players. He reminded us, that their

nickname is the Steelmen and they lived up to that in the first half.

The second bookable offence was not that bad, but looking at Keith at --

Keith Lasley hammering into tackles, you knew that something was going to

come from that. There was nothing wrong with the desire for Motherwell

in that first half. And sometimes that level of desire can be enough

to keep you up. Motherwell, losing Johnson is a big loss. We will see

Scott McDonald and Louis Moult will see them right. The label not be as

high up the table as they were last season. It is full-time at Firhill.

A good win for St Johnstone. Steven Anderson opened the scoring. Let's

get the full-time report from Kenny Crawford. Yes, both sides came into

this match on one of two Leigh Davies. For Partick Thistle that

extends to three whilst St Johnstone managed to stop the rot. It was the

first win in five attempts for the Perth side against Partick Thistle.

The Thistle fans were silenced in 21 minutes when Steven Anderson

connected with a deep cross from Danny Swanson from a tight angle to

make it 1-0. Thistle lost their goalkeeper to injury and then lost

another goal as well. The ball was given away in midfield, snapped up

by Swanson, who fed Steven MacLean to fire into the top left-hand

corner from 20 yards. Thistle, creative but not clinical. Forcing

Johnson, the same two scorers as in their recent Cup Final win. Anderson

and Maclean. I can hand you over to Jonathan at Pittodrie. It has

finished 1-1. Aberdeen still struggling to hit the high notes

this season. They have been held by Richie Foran's side in the Granite

city. It was a fairly turgid first half. In Venice had the best

opportunities. Liam Polworth with an effort glancing off the crossbar. It

was better from Aberdeen at the start of the second. Niall McGinn

with a fine strike curling inside the post to put Aberdeen one up.

Then it looked like they might go on to dominate. James Maddison coming

off the bench, on loan from Norwich City, looked impressive in clashes.

He had a shot saved by Owain Fon Williams. Inverness put two upfront

and in the end the equaliser came from Iain Vigurs. Fantastic, left

footed effort to make it 1-1. Aberdeen half and puffed in the

final third but could not find their way through. It was frustration in

the end for the Dons as they were held at Pittodrie, 1-1 by Inverness.

They are still playing at Tynecastle but the outcome of the match seems

beyond dispute. The final whistle has just gone. Craig Thomson has

scored -- shown a couple of yellow cards after the final whistle.

Hearts scoring a late goal at the end, Nicholson converting a from

Robbie Muirhead the Bolli. That sealed the victory for Hearts. It

was a hard fought victory. They created a number of chances in the

first half. They were left to regret their failure to take the lead.

Lovely cross by Gillespie and controlled volley by Ali Crawford to

put Hamilton ahead. Hearts were full of life after that. Sam Nicholson

came off the bench and made a difference with lots of lively

running. That allowed Jamie Walker to make -- move into the middle.

Nicholson was brought down inside the area and it was adjudged a

penalty by Craig Thomson. Jamie Walker converted from the spot,

making it 2-1. Nicholson converting at the end to make the final score

3-1 to Hearts. Full-time in the match between Dundee and Kilmarnock.

Over to brine. Yes, I am sure that in his post-match comments, Dundee

boss Paul Hartley will see this as two points dropped after dominating

proceedings for the majority of 90 minutes. They almost took the lead

after seven minutes through Tom Hateley floating ball into the box

and El Bakhtoui hammered the ball high into the roof of the net. They

could not capitalise on that. After 30 minutes Kilmarnock equalised with

a magnificent overhead volley from Souleymane Coulibaly. Scott Bain was

rooted in his goal-line, he could not move, and Kilmarnock were back

on level terms. In the second half, the home side pushed forward. With

eight minutes left, as the home side pushed forward, there was drama when

Kevin Gomez the Dundee centre-half went in hard on Kilmarnock

substitute Charlie Adams. Straight red card shown by John Robertson.

crossbar. It finished in the sunshine, 1-1. Dropping into the

Championship for details of the match between Dumbarton and league

leaders had their name. It finished Dumbarton Mill, the burning one. --

have Bernie and one. Hibs showed their battling qualities in the

first half, taking a deserved lead in the 32nd minute after Grant Hall

had been bundled over. That physicality continued in the second

half with chances at a premium. That was how it was to finish. It was

season has not been as good as you would have hoped. The expectation

behind. They should be up there. The squad has been strengthened. The

performances last season were pretty good, they kept the title challenge

going up until the last eight games of the season. In the last couple of

seasons they have finished the season pretty badly and lost a

number of games. But normally, they start the season well. They have not

done that this season and Derek McInnes will be concerned about

that, but they have enough quality to come back from that. But that was

a disappointing one, today. Tom, we will come back to you to explain

what nascent means! The league is young, but Partick Thistle bottom of

the table. Is that worrying for them at this early stage? You want to go

on a bit of a run, get on the front foot. They are on a run, but it is

not a good one. There is little positivity in there. It is early,

and Nvidia is panicking at this stage of the season. You can get

into a rut, and a rot can last. It could last a month, it could last

six weeks in this league. Because the games are so tight. It is a

puzzler, because Partick Thistle should be better than that, looking

at the players that they have. McGowan, we will talk more about the

And we begin with the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership.

Time for a look at the league tables. In the Scottish Premiership,

Celtic four wins from four, two points clear of Hearts. Ross County,

after their 1-1 draw with Motherwell, going well in fourth. St

Johnstone in fifth after their excellent away win at Partick

Johnstone in fifth after their Thistle, who dropped to the foot of

the table. In the Championship, Hibs macro two clear of Queen Of The

South. Hibs beating Dumbarton today. In League 1, new leaders. Alloa

Athletic had four wins from four, but losing today against Livingston.

In League 2, a 100% record for the leaders there. Five points clear of

Clyde. Edinburgh city at the bottom of the table. They have broken their

points duck. Now the Barclays English Premier League, where Man

City lead. They won the Manchester derby today, 2-1 against Man United.

Chelsea have yet to play this weekend. Playing Everton tomorrow.

Bottom of the table looks like this. Sunderland and Stoke yet to win a

game this season. Top of the Championship looks like this.

Anderson -- Huddersfield are four points clear of Barnsley.

Doesn't look good for Blackburn Rovers. A point adrift of Preston

North End at the bottom of the table, still looking for their first

win of the season. No such worries for Celtic, who have

won all of the matches in their league. Thanks in no small measure

to this man, the man we are about to hear from. Mousset Dembele, the

hat-trick hero. He spoke to us after the match. We are a good squad.

There is a lot of good players, so when one is missing, you can show

have done today. Happy for the team, and for us, that we got the three

points, and for the fans that we won the game. I was waiting for the

start of the game, but now everything went well. I will come to

you first, Tom. Dembele with a hat-trick. He gets the match ball,

and is the first Celtic player to score a league hat rick against

Rangers since 1966. Not a bad day for him! Not a bad start to his

Celtic career. Brendan Rogers spoke about him afterwards and said he had

a chance to move to Premier League clubs. There's a lot of interest in

him. Lots of clubs offering more money than Celtic. But he decided to

go to Celtic. There is a mature head on those shoulders, and a hail of a

football -- a footballer. A match against Barcelona midweek in the

Champions League, and then this game -- this guy comes on. It will give

Champions League, and then this game him a headache, choosing where to

play him. That result today must give Celtic

great heart going into that match. Lee Mack have played well for two

seasons. They have two players who can really put teams to the sword.

You can only see them winning the title. I do think anybody will get

close to them. They have done it before. They are playing at a high

level and going into the game with confidence. Especially at home. They

should be looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead of them in

the Champions League. Playing against Barcelona, one thing that

frightens the hell out of all players is pace. And his pace was

fantastic today. It is a quality he has added, so they look fabulous

side already this season. He seemed very calm in front of goal as well.

No sign of clustering or panic? It was a perfect hat-trick. I think it

was outstanding. He set up another goal as well. Anything that was

played up to him, he was taking it on the chest, and getting midfield

players in... I always feel sorry for players in this situation.

Celtic scored the fifth goal. You may as well wrapped up the show the

way we started it. Wrap -- watch it tomorrow, because the build-up to

that goal... If it was Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich or

Barcelona who did it... And the fact that he is beginning to see that,

into European football. That is a good side and I cannot see anyone
