This could be something sensational. Right out of the top drawer. The

shot is an absolute beauty. Oh, yes! It is unbelievable, unbelievable!

What a finish. Right here, right now, this is history.

Good evening. It is all about contrasty emotions tonight. Success,

despair, relief, and the fate of one team remains in limbo. All the

action coming up. With this in the studio, Steven Thompson and Michael

Stewart. It has been a sensational season for Celtic, the final league

match of the campaign at home against Toral, the Ladbroke

Premiership trophy to be presented at the end.

Griffiths is chosen to spite his altercation with the manager. Hearts

without a win in five, and a debut for 19-year-old Jamie Brandon. Can

they finish on a high? Not far away at all! He was well capable of

scoring from there. On the scoresheet again against Partick

Thistle in the week. Hearts without a win over Celtic since 2012. They

haven't won here since 2009. Tierney lets fly. What a fabulous season for

him, you scored his first Celtic goal the final day of last season.

Smith's run, and it is Simunovic on the team today. That is a foul by

the Croatian, and it has presented Hearts with a more than decent

chance. A free kick opportunity on the edge of the Celtic box might be

their best chance to get something out of this. It is Tziolis with the

effort. Rising up the wrong time for the Greek international.

Scott Sinclair, McGregor's effort blocked, but it is a corner. In

order to achieve their highest points tally, they want the most

goals in the season, and the biggest gap between first and second as

well. Griffiths with the delivery, it was Boyata's shot which was saved

by Noring. It is the closest they have come to breaking the deadlock.

Noring got onto that. The big moment, Hearts trying to keep

sultanate at bay here. Celtic claimed penalty here, but this is

majestic once again from Patrick Roberts.

Lovely play, Griffiths! Well and truly get the party started for

Celtic. Fabulous delivery here by Patrick Roberts. And Celtic through

Leigh Griffiths move that little bit closer to an invincible league

season. Lovely ball, a chance here for

Griffiths again. He was onside. He feels as though he should have got

his and Celtic's second. Really good run there, he turned it to

perfection. Tierney was upended, play on. Scott Sinclair, the

football rights' Association Player of the Year. This is Armstrong, he

claims he was held. Since the goal, Celtic have relaxed,

and it is a Hearts. He is the sponsors Player of the Season,

Brown. Stuart Armstrong is going to have a

go, without a doubt. Just past. The Celtic supporters once again, giving

their voice to the Lisbon Lions. Burns is away, and through it comes

for Sinclair. He misses it, but Armstrong doesn't! What a season he

has had. Let the festivities begin. They will be unbeaten in the

Premiership. What an achievement, and Stuart Armstrong ensures another

three points for the champions. That goal gives Celtic their best

ever tally in the league. Toure gave it away there, he is on

as a sub for Simunovic. And they almost pulled one back, the

visitors. A chance to cross here, it will drop

to Martin, Craig Gordon called interaction there. Brandon has had a

really fine debut. Celtic just about there, the referee checks his watch

and he ends the season, and Celtic are invincible. They are

indomitable. They are invaluable. Unbeatable Celtic under Brendan

Rodgers, and what a job he has done from top to bottom of this club.

By this time next week they could be a trouble winning Celtic. For now,

they will bask in the glory of a sixth successive title, the

silverware which they will touch very, very soon, and this is what it

is all about for them. They have been an untouchable in the

Premiership, and it will be at the very least a double, Chris Coleman

signs off having not played it for them this season. The most goals

they have scored in a season, the most points they have had in a

season, their biggest title margin of victory, Celtic are the champions

of Scotland once again, and for 2016/17, what a campaign. For this

team to have gone through a whole season, to have gone 34 games and

drawn four, it is a remarkable achievement. It may never happen in

a lifetime again for many people, but the players, the work that they

have put in to achieve that is absolutely phenomenal, and they

deserve all the plaudits on the credit they get. It is about how we

play, we were getting the ball down past, and coming up very quickly,

and the trouble was talked about after Aberdeen, can we win and be

unbeaten and go and get the trouble? We are only one step away. The

players deserve to celebrate success, that is very important, but

then we have to refocus, one more game left, we are going to finish

that well, we want to win the cup, that was one of our goals. And maybe

later on when we have arrested the holiday, but you tend not to think

so much while you are in the moment because you always having to think

of tomorrow, and that is some NI tend to do.

Huge congratulations, and I think it is fair to say they enjoy that. How

big an achievement is this? It is phenomenal, total domination from

Celtic and Brendan Rodgers, and what a first season for him, it is almost

perfect and it could be by next Saturday. Some people try to devalue

the achievement by saying Rangers have been poor this year, but to go

whole season unbeaten, they played games without a recognised striker,

and to go the whole season without injuries, refereeing decisions going

against you, unbeaten, it is a phenomenal achievement, and I don't

think we will see it again. They have had moments that have gone

against them, but they have shown the resilience of the team and not

allowed it to end in defeat. They have had their backs against the

wall and come up with the answers, an unbelievable achievement. Could

they do it again next year? I wouldn't put it past them! A

lifetime achievement according to Brendan Rodgers. I wouldn't put it

past them getting a double trouble next year, -- a double treble next

year. It is remarkable to go the whole season. Roberts has been

genius, and flashes of genius again. He has got such trickery and pace,

and for a full-back playing against him, they must be hating playing

against him. Today he was absolutely pivotal to everything that was

positive from a Celtic perspective, another great Wall in from

Griffiths. This was very poor from a Hearts point defensively, great all

in, great header. Is he on his way back to Manchester City, or should

Celtic try to sign him? This is a wonderful strike, it shows they have

different styles of goals. In terms of Manchester City, I don't see him

going back and playing, so it is a tough one for Patrick Roberts. I'm

pretty sure Celtic are exploring ways and means of trying to get him.

I don't think he is worth 12 million. What, then? I think half of

that, Celtic would contemplate a deal. If they could get value for

Patrick Roberts, I'm pretty sure they would look to try to keep him.

You know what it is like to win a trouble, you have lifted the trophy

a couple of times. A huge match for Celtic next weekend, how big other

celebrations tonight? It is a very important game for them to play on

Saturday. They have known they have won the league for months, Sela

could have celebrated a while ago. They can celebrate all they want on

Saturday if they beat Aberdeen. And in terms of Hearts. End of season

report card as far as you are concerned? Brutal. It is not

particularly great. They have taken less points than any other to in the

Premiership. That is startling, and there will have to be a huge upturn

in fortunes next season. Any positives? Not really. Aberdeen take

on Celtic next weekend. How will a sign of the league

campaign? Alan Archibald is missing ten

first-team players fitted a's game. As far as Aberdeen are concerned,

just a couple of changes. Hayes with the delivery. And Christy

completely unmarked has smashed home, and Aberdeen have an early

lead. He really caught hold of that, Ryan Christie. No chance of mark

Rangers stopping that. And Aberdeen with the ideal start. They could

have been forgiven for taking this one. Taking it a little easier than

normal with a cup final next weekend. Logan shooting at goal, but

he drags it wide. Jonny Hayes, three Partick Thistle

players around him. That is a good ball into the box, Ash Taylor off

the crossbar and it falls to Scott Wright to double the Aberdeen lead.

It is a first Aberdeen goal for the 19-year-old. He has got his chance

at the starting line-up, and he has taken it already. 2-0 Aberdeen, they

Wright gives him the option, and it is two goals for Scott Wright, three

for Aberdeen. They are really in the mood this afternoon, a perfectly

weighted pass from Maclean, and Ridgers has been at his near post.

Thistle really not at the races. A chance to reduce the deficit, but he

couldn't get onto the rebound, and Azeez passing up the opportunity.

Logan is being urged forward by his manager, gets it back from Kenny

McLean. There is the dummy from Rooney, and the goal from Jonny

Hayes. 4-0 Aberdeen, this is phenomenal stuff. No sign of them

taking their foot off the gas with Hampton on the horizon. Scott Wright

looks really up for this one. It is eight all in for Christie, who is

appended. Up ended. Appeals for a penalty, he is completely taken out.

Partick Thistle try to find something to cling onto. Barton for

Azeez, but it just wouldn't go in. Really good defending their by

Taylor, and Doolan well off target. Jonny Hayes with what might have

been a high boot, but allowed to continue by the referee. And it is a

second goal for Ryan Christie, eight of the season from the man on loan

from Celtic. That is a peach from Christie, he couldn't have got it

any sweeter. Can Aberdeen keep up the momentum

from the first half? It would be quite outstanding if they could. A

couple of changes, Ryan Jack you can see in the picture they're coming

on, important for him to get some minutes under his belt. And it is a

hat-trick for Scott Wright. It took a deflection, but there is no

question, Scott Wright will be claiming that one. It seemed to come

off Lindsay last. He hadn't scored the Aberdeen before today, Scott

Wright. What a day for the young man, and Aberdeen looked like they

might not be finished yet. Christie also on a hat-trick, flashing it

across the face of goal. This might break for Azeez, he is

behind, the corner, and Lewis thwarted him. Azeez once more, and

Lewis gathers that one. It just has not been Partick Thistle's day at

all. With key players out today, I think it showed. There were kids we

had to put on, and you don't want to introduce them in an environment

like that when the game is competitive. I'm pleased we came

through without any injuries, which was the most important thing. To

take 76 points and break our own SPL record, I have been delighted with

the players in this league campaign. They deserve so much credit, and I

hope they get a lot of praise for that because they deserve it.

6-0 victory Aberdeen, midweek victory against Rangers at Ibrox,

and the cup final next weekend, coming to the boil at just the right

time? There is no doubt that in stark contrast to the previous

years, Derek has had Aberdeen split, they have not done particularly

well. They have got back cup final, and they are coming to the boil at

the perfect time, because they are in a real good vein of form, and a

lot of credit to them, as Derek said, they are without a shadow of a

doubt the team that are challenging Celtic the closest, and they, we

have spoken about how good they are, Aberdeen at the top and they are due

a lot of credit. And what a week for them to go down to Ibrox, and to

then follow that up with an emphatic win and Partick today. And no doubt

about the star of the show, his second start, and a hat-trick. He

will take it. He hasn't really been used that often, but he certainly

had a brilliant match today. He is a pacey, tricky winger, and that was a

good run and a good strike. His third is fortuitous because it takes

a deflection, but he makes it. Another one where you are operating

in space, in tight areas. The interesting thing for me, Niall

McGinn leaving in the summer, he is an ideal youth product. Is he

playing himself into contention as a starting player for the cup final?

You never know, but I think you'll find that Niall McGinn will be back

in for that. Players performing so well that Aberdeen at the moment,

but at the same time, I know neither of you expect them to overturn them

Celtic are the favourites, there is no question of it, but they have to

try to find a way to lay a glove on Celtic. There are ways, and I'm sure

that they will be working to do that. Will Ryan Jack play a part?

That is a good question. If Derek McInnes was picking his strongest

side, it does throw up a question mark whether he will be in the side,

and I would be surprised if he is not. It has been a day to forget the

Partick Thistle, it has petered out for them in terms of the end.

Reaching the top six was good for them, but they have only ever beaten

a top six side twice this season. The two best sides in the country go

head-to-head next weekend. The waiting is over for Aberdeen,

they are through to their first Scottish Cup final in 17 years.

After his war of words in the week with Derek McInnes, how much of a

battle with Pedro Caixinha face against St Johnstone?

No St Johnstone swansong for Swanson. Income Austen, Craig and

Maclean. Rangers make five changes, which include a debut for Jak

Alnwick in place of Wes Foderingham, and a first starred start the bar

Jenas. -- Barjonas. It comes back in from Miller, and in goes Steven

MacLean. He got there before the goalkeeper, and Alnwick was relieved

to see this effort go wide. Richard Foster against his old team, and a

good effort from Craig Thomson. The angled strike from the

youngster, and Alnwick was clutching at that.

John Toral, lovely ball for Kenny Miller, and at full stretch, he

couldn't quite hit the target. Top quality written all over the pass

from Toral. The upland under from Shaughnessy, and it is Kane.

Opportunity knocking for Kane. Kenny Miller drops deep to pick up

possession. Martyn Waghorn against Tam Scobbie. And there is Miller! It

is the opening goal. Five minutes away from half-time, and Kenny

Miller just continues to deliver for Rangers.

Thomson wrestling with Bierman and comes out on top. Fingertips from

Alnwick diverted this over the top. It would have been some goal from

Craig, the build-up was top-notch. In goes Blair Alston, but Tavernier

is away from him, it is Toral! And that is 2-0. Just eight minutes

after the interval, Rangers extend their advantage, and it was all

about that one along the byline from Tavernier, and the measured finish

from John Toral. Wind as weaving away. Waghorn

looking for the glimmer of a chance. And he fires over the top, and you

can tell from his reaction he knew he should have done better.

Miller, and that is a good ball for Waghorn, and again, first touch

good, second touch a big disappointment.

Foster tries to escape the clutches of McKay. It is back into the danger

zone, and Graham Cummins gets St Johnstone back into the game. But

wayward header was really costly. Cummins's strike, 76 minutes played,

it is now 2-1. Chris Millar, Cummins, Steven

MacLean! Great save from Jak Alnwick, but he will be thinking he

should have levelled things up here. Big chance for Tommy Wright's team.

Kenny Miller is still full of running. Brings Jamie Barjonas into

the game, it is the 18-year-old Barjonas, and it is a really good

save from Alan Mannus. What a moment this would have been for the

teenager had he scored on his first start. Clubs have come into the

league, so I can't commend my players enough for what they have

put in this season. A good win for Rangers. What

happened to St Johnstone, usually so sturdy at the back, but at times,

they were found wanting? Two very avoidable goals. Poor goals to lose,

and again, Kenny Miller picks up the ball in acres of space, where is the

midfield? And look at his energy levels? Not one St Johnstone player

tries to track him. Chris Millar is trying to blame Eastern, and he is

trying to blame Miller. He has got to stop Tavernier there, he can't

allow him to go along the byline and pick it out. John Toral, a neat

finish, but one of the players have to recognise there are plenty of

bodies back and they have got to pick up the man rather than just

filling the space. St Johnstone talking about getting a bit of pace

up front the next season, they have to replace Danny Swanson. Pedro

Caixinha bouncing around with the fans at the end of the match, what

did you make of that war of words he had with Derek McInnes during the

week? It backfired for him, it gave Derek McInnes his team talk, and I

think he has got too much to say. He has to keep his cards close to his

chest at times, maybe that is just the way he is or maybe he will

change next season, but it backfired, that is for sure. A big

summer in store for Pedro Caixinha, and Rangers. This week talking about

spending the whole season getting money on the playing staff. What did

you make of that? They're in a position already where

the club is losing money annually. Where is the season ticket money

going now if not on the playing staff? They need more if they are

going to put in a challenge. Dave King spoke about tens of millions

that are going to be spent. Where is that money Putting in the finances

to catch Celtic, it is to catch Aberdeen.

OK, the relegation fight had gone down to the wire. Hamilton

Academical started second bottom. They knew that victory over Dundee

would keep them safe from automatic relegation. Commentary from Liam

McLeod. Captain Devlin is back with Redmond

and Templeton, who starts for the first time.

Vincent and Ross in the Dundee team. Gomez does not make it.

been so often for them in recent times. We await to see if Neil

fancies the job full-time. Bingham scores it.

needed. Hamilton know it doesn't matter what

Inverness do at home to Motherwell, so long as they take care of their

own business. Bingham has given them a big chance to do just that.

That goal a moment ago... Skondras! That might just save Hamilton.

And provide them with the relative sanctuary of the fightoff final.

What a hit that is from Skondras, who picks this moment to score his

first goal for the club. Dundee have not really turned up to

the party. That is a good ball. Come all the way through to go go.

Now he has the break. It is hoped, it is passed.

A Dundee goal goes goes in and you never know which way this afternoon

will turn. This is not a bad effort! A really good first half display

this by Accies. Arguably their best of the season.

Dundee, of course safe. And as far as Cally Thistle are concerned, you

can never really rely on a team that is safe. Michael Devlin has gone

down. It is not good news. He just made it today. A play-off final

looming now, you would imagine Accies look like they're going to be

without their skipper. A heavy touch.

That's a terrific save. Bingham can't turn it home. It is a corner,

though. Haven't seen this too often,

And it is a penalty. Imrie, a former Cally Thistle player

twists the knife on the Highlanders. Inverness will go down. Accies will

broad smile. Little wonder, given how this afternoon is going for the

hosts. It will be a play-off final against

Dundee United, the first at Tannadice on Thursday for 4578

Milton. -- Hamilton. Here's Crawford. A chance for four!

! And the man who scored their first league goal of the season, at Ibrox,

a way back in August, scores what might be their final league goal of

the season here. That adds a bit of icing to the

cake. Neil McCann will be devastated with

the performance today. It has been about Hamilton who have staved off

the drop, for now, at least. Dundee United await them.

A fantastic performance. Similar against Ross County. Got what they

deserved through the week. We didn't. That is the frustrating that

we have ended up in this position. The positive thing is that's two

real good performances. We need to take them into the next two games.

It will be huge. The objective has been done. I managed to help the

club stay in the Premiership for next season. I'm not happy with the

end result. It is not the way I wanted to finish this season.

Whether people say it is job done or not, I am proud of that part of it.

I am not proud of how it finished. Finish second bottom of the table.

In the Premiership play-off final. They will be up against Dundee

United. Join us for the first leg of that highlight.

11. 15pm on BBC Two Scotland. The question has to be, which of those

sides goes into that as favourites? A tough question. If you put the two

sides into a game without any of the stuff beforehand, in terms of number

of games, injuries, I think Dundee unite Road a better side. Obviously

you is to take into account the number of games they played of late.

The number of j irries, talking about wound -- injuries, talking

about the walking wounded. The result yesterday against Dundee, but

making it into account, I feel Dundee United will get through by

hook or crook... On fire in these play-off games. The ex-Hamilton

player. It is a hard one to call. Very tight. What about the fatigue

question? It is a decent gap. They have six days to recover. I don't

think it is an issue. We raised the question during the week, Dundee

United be struggling last 20 minutes because of the amount of games they

played? They finished stronger. Is there a natural gap at that level,

bottom and then top of the Premiership? You look at the teams

at the top of the Premiership, better than some at the bottom of

the Premiership. I don't think that is an argument that holds any

weight. What about Templeton? You see the

awareness of where to cause teams problems. It was a lovely flick here

to Skondras for the goal. Put it on a plate for Skondras, didn't head?

Look at this here. Playing between the lines, knowing how to hurt the

opposition - wonderful feet and skill. Good to see him back. Why

he's not played a game in nearly two years Injury problems and the fact

he's been out of contract. It amazes me. Again you see wonderful feet,

tight areas, wokking around the opposition and getting a penalty.

This game against Ross County, getting another goal. He's got real

ability to cause problems for the opposition in the final third. Going

back to your question, could he be the difference for Hamilton? He

could. He's, everything in those clips, we have seen he's a player

capable of doing that. Let's talk about Neil McCann. Not a happy man.

Do you think this affects his decision when it comes to taking

over on a full-time basis, if that is his call in the end? He will be

frustrated. He's right in what he says, they have achieved what they

had to do, which was to stay up. The last two games have been below the

standard. Conceded six goals, scored none. He will want assurances from

the board that the mopny is there for him to improve this squad, a

squad which has not been good enough this season by a long way. It is a

big decision for Neil, it really is. I know he's passionate about Dundee

and about coaching. He's got lot to think about. Do you think the

pundit's chair is looking Everything was positive. These last

couple of games he will be disappointed. Standing in front of

the camera, I am sure he would not want to do interviews after results

like that. It raises a difficult proposition for him whether to take

the job or not. Cally Thistle would finish bottom of the table. Of

course Richie Foran's side didn't know it at the time.

Motherwell don't have Scott McDonald. 18-year-old.

Campbell starting. A good hit from the central defender

and the former Motherwell man, stretching Griffiths. Works the

one-two, with Moult. This looks promising for Ainsworth. Didn't

really catch the shot, Ainsworth. This was so close.

chance! He's missed it! Well how Inverness Caley Thistle

But it is a gloomy mood around the ground the news Hamilton are in

Inverness Caley Thistle, with Hamilton well on their way to three

Inverness Caley Thistle's top goal scorer. That is it for the season,

but these aren't going to matter a whole lot.

safe, in contrast to Inverness Caley Thistle. The full-time whistle

signals their relegation. I'll have a chat with the board probably

Monday or Tuesday. I'm 100% behind this club. We'll know by Monday or

Tuesday what their thoughts are. Changes to be made on the park, off

the park. Personally, I want a smaller squad.

We can get two or three bad apples in your dressing room, probably

should have got rid of them in January, I didn't. I might have

needed them. I stood loyal to a lot of players this season. A few of

them didn't repay me. Most of them did. Losing games is not accepted.

Watching people celebrate at 3-2 down I find incredible. Maybe that

is why we are where we are and why we have battled all season. Maybe

defeat was accepted too easily. Inverness Caley Thistle are

relegated from the Premiership. Michael, what did you make of Richie

Foran's bad apple comments? Richie Foran has come out with so many

contradictory statements this season. Bad apples... There may be

bad characters in the changing room, you deal with them. Don't get

involved with your team and you deal with it that way. He's talking about

you know they should have got rid of them in January. Why did you not get

rid of them? There are things. Boils down to the fact that Richie Foran

is an unexperienced manager, it has proven to be a disastrous

appointment. That side should not have gotten relegated. The manager

has to take the responsibility for that. Do you see Richie Foran

staying on as the manager? It depends. It will cost them money to

pay him off. Is the money there to pay him off? Or risk to take them

back up... For me, and a footballing basis, you wouldn't have Richie

Foran as the manager. If he stays on, that to me suggests it is a

money thing. You don't see them bouncing back

with Richie Foran? I was going to say the league next year is going to

be the easiest championship in a long time, no Rangers, no Hibs. It

is there for somebody to win. It has been a tough end to the season for

Motherwellover all. You can -- Motherwell over all. We enjoy a

McFadden goal from time to time. We do. It will be interesting to see

whether he concentrated on the coaching side of things. We waited

for it to go into the top corner. He jumped up and headed it in. Like He

scored so many over the years. Trying to play, after the preseason.

I guess we'll wait and see. Interesting stuff. The battle for

seventh place. Kilmarnock needed a victory over Ross County.

opportunity for him. He wouldn't be on Stephen's nominations for Player

of the Year though, Liam Boyce? I think there are better in league.
