Episode 11 Super League Show

Hello. The Super League clubs have been busy bunnies this weekend.

There have been two rounds of matches

over the Easter holiday period.

We've got 14 games to show you tonight

and if the season so far is anything to go by,

it could get quite dramatic!

COMMENTATOR: How about this for a spectacular try?

Oh, he's done it again!

Unbelievable!

Eorl Crabtree has been in the thick of it this weekend.

He's alongside Brian Noble to have a look back at the complete

Easter programme.

It all kicked off on Thursday with the big derby match

between Hull KR and Hull FC.

Your commentator is Dave Woods.

It's a whole team that travels here with some confidence.

Lee Radford's first derby in charge

and his side have won their last two Super League games.

Richard Horne fit again and on the bench.

But Hull KR are on the back of three successive league wins.

Justin Poore returns from suspension for them.

Here's Danny Houghton. It's Hadley.

He's coming on strong

but four Rovers defenders making sure he's going no further.

It's Houghton again.

Across the face of one and into the arms here of Rankin.

Jordan Rankin with the game's opening try.

It is first blood to Hull FC.

Switching it right and Rankin with a hand-off on Horne.

Then the surge and pace to get himself over.

It is a decent position they find for themselves here, Hull KR.

Many were coming through and Larroyer was the man who was picked.

Presents a real opportunity.

It's going to be a measured kick to the corner on the sixth tackle here.

It is a try, I think, from Costigan who's claiming it

but the referee wants another look.

That seems to be OK from the attacking team's point of view

and who got hands on that?

It looks to have come off Whiting.

Costigan was the quickest to react.

Hull KR are denied.

He is clearly unhappy.

He's getting his first taste of a Humberside Derby.

He is stretching the resolve of that Rovers defence

but they just about hang on.

The off-load from Liam Watts was superb

and Bowden makes the most of it.

despite the despairing last-minute attempt.

Well, it was desperate stuff on the final tackle.

Despite that determined scrambled Hull defence,

somehow Graham Horne finds a way through it.

They need to score quickly really

if they are going to get themselves back in the contest here, Hull FC.

This is a moment that might just present an opportunity

for Danny Houghton!

Danny Houghton did what mattered and Hull are right back in it.

These are nervous moments.

It is always a tense game but even more so here tonight.

He's going to go down this blind side.

and then turns it on for a finish for Talanoa.

They are delighted. Hull right back in it.

He has hit it well but he has pulled it wide. It remains all square.

Here comes Hodgson. Hull KR desperate for the position.

One point might be enough. Hodgson again.

They are still going to drive it forward.

Pushing that defence back. Big effort.

Now, have they got the numbers? Here it goes from Hall with a kick.

Has he gone it? Yes, he has!

Craig Hall is the hero in red and white

and Hull KR have snatched it right at the last.

Desperate stuff, but they are desperately happy.

Sandercock said afterwards that's the best win since I came here.

What does it feel like to win a game like that?

It was a proper derby, wasn't it? They got stuck into each other.

The intensity of the game for 80 minutes was as high as I have seen

at a derby game.

Lots of decisions to and from, and the excitement and the intensity

and the nerves.

He actually played every play of that game, Craig Sandercock,

when you looked at him on the television,

but it's a great win for them.

The manner of which they won can really galvanise your team

for the rest of the season.

They've hit a rich vein of form, Hull KR.

Such a difficult start for them. What's been the difference?

Probably just the fact that they've got a little bit more consistency

in what they're doing.

They've had less injuries on the way and for that game, it was immense.

The actual pressure everybody was under, including the coaches,

because that's the big game you want to win.

Fantastic spectacle. Great for the sport as well yet again.

The drop goal went directly through

the post which was quite nice to see.

I think we all enjoyed it.

Still a little bit sore, are we, about that one?

Not in the slightest, no.

For Hull KR, there were quite a few video referee decisions.

You can understand them getting a little twitchy.

Thankfully they came the right side of the result.

because there were two or three.

Craig Hall was involved in one

and a couple of no put-downs Early in the game.

Neville Costigan we saw there, you're thinking it's not our night

but, thankfully, they got the right side of the result which took

that element of controversy away.

Hull FC struggling to find consistency. What's the problem?

I am not entirely sure.

It's something they'll have to look into a little bit more closely

because against us they were absolutely fantastic.

They could sense that we were there for the taking against Hull KR.

They found a team who were equally up to the task

and someone who wanted to get one over them.

In the big games, when they've got two teams going head-to-head,

it's the ones that they are dropping at the moment.

There were two other matches on Thursday night.

Catalan were at The Hive to take on London,

while Leeds had a slightly shorter journey.

They were at Bradford.

Leeds Rhinos ran riot against Bradford Bulls on Thursday evening,

recording their biggest ever victory at Odsal.

Kevin Sinfield setting them on their way with the first of four

tries in the opening 15 minutes.

Scores from Moone and McGuire followed before Ryan Hall

touched down for his first of the evening as Leeds took full advantage

against a Bradford side who lost Jamie Foster and Matt Diskin

to illness and injury before the kick-off.

The Bulls' only try of the night came from this Lee Gaskell

opportunist interception.

The coach, Francis Cummings, was in dispirited mood afterwards

saying if anything can go wrong, it is going wrong at the moment.

The Rhinos completely dominated the second half,

with Ryan Hall scoring twice in quick succession

to complete yet another hat-trick.

Then it was a procession of flowing, attacking rugby

that Bradford simply could not live with.

It was the Bulls' sixth defeat in a row

as they wait on that appeal against their six-point deduction

to be lifted.

Confidence clearly at rock bottom.

Liam Sutcliffe,

who spent a month on loan with the Bulls earlier this season,

breaking through several tackles to round off this passage of play.

The pick of the tries came from Kallum Watkins,

as the England centre collected the ball on halfway

and steam-rollered his way through the Bulls' defence.

And this was impressive stuff from Leeds,

capped off by the perfect end to the perfect day,

as Rob Burrow celebrated his 400th appearance for the club

and his 13th year at Headingley.

Catalan Dragons continued their revival

as they made it four wins out of five at London.

Michael Oldfield scoring the first of five Catalan tries,

with Taia, Barthau and Pelissier also scoring

before this effort from Vincent Duport

put the French side 24 points clear

with just 12 minutes to go.

It looked to be plain sailing for the visitors

but, with 10 minutes left,

London started a remarkable fight back.

Mason Caton-Brown racing away for the second of his two tries.

And the Broncos started to believe.

This late effort from Denny Solomona

bringing London to within just one score.

But time ran out,

and it's now nine straight defeats

for the start of the season.

No real surprises in the Catalan-London result,

but signs of improvement again from London.

Yeah, it's good to see, because we want a competitive London side

and it's been disappointing when they've leaked so many points

and not really got many on the board.

But I think the good signs are

that these are young players coming through, London players,

which is great to see and, hopefully, they'll pick up

a few more points throughout the season.

Just looking at the Leeds-Bradford game,

we've waxed lyrical about Leeds' back line

and how well they're scoring tries, but defensively they've been really tight.

I think it's only St Helens have scored more than 12 points against them.

In all their games so far this year

they've only conceded 70 or 80 points. Wow.

Somebody's bending their backs there really well, aren't they,

and defending really well. And it's giving them the opportunity

to launch what is an exciting back line, you know,

when their forwards do their stuff,

so they've got that balance right,

they've really got some prowess in attack

and they're certainly bending their backs as well.

There were four games on Good Friday

when Castleford were looking to get back to winning ways

after defeat against Saints.

How pleased will Daryl Powell be with how they reacted at Wakefield?

Do you know what, they were fantastic in this game,

and Wakefield have been struggling for a little bit of form

and they kicked it off straightaway with a great Carney try.

And you just see him powering down the sideline

and this big fend of doom straight to the face -

get out my way, son, put the ball down.

That's what it's all about.

And then, off the back of that though,

Wakefield did have a few questions themselves.

A dodgy decision there, surely a knock-on.

But Reece Lyne down the outside with Jarrod Sammut in support,

which he's doing really well at the moment,

so it's good to see him finding a bit of a position

at the back as well, full-backer.

Interesting decision to play him there.

But Castleford were never going to give in

and this is what they've been showing

throughout the whole season so far.

Oliver Holmes through the middle with a lovely little off-load

and Scott Wheeldon with a bit of footwork.

Don't know where that's come from,

but it's good to see him in form as well.

They work really, really well.

This game was never over,

and the problem is that Wakefield just couldn't hang in there

right to the end.

Reece Lyne with another great try, good bounce of the ball.

Dodgy put-down as well, but, you know, one-handed,

you've got to give it to him.

Again though, it's Castleford,

they just wanted this game so much.

Liam Finn showing great bravery,

trying to tackle the post as well as scoring the try.

That took it to 32-20, but then Daryl Clark finished it off.

Beautifully, back on the inside,

with a great individual effort at the end.

Moving on to Warrington-Widnes. A funny game, this.

I don't think anybody saw this sort of score line coming.

I don't think anybody saw it.

Local derby, I would have expected a whole lot closer,

but O'Brien kicks here for Joel Monaghan,

which really got the Warrington side flying off to a great start

and they continued it.

You know, Mickey Higham with a trademark run from dummy half

and I think Chris Bridge on his outside, he does all the easy work.

Mickey Higham's done the hard work there,

but clearly a good start for the Warrington team.

And generally, when they get their good start,

they kick on and beat teams.

Looking a bit more like their old selves,

attacking-wise it seemed to gel in this game.

Yeah, they seemed to find their rhythm.

Rhys Evans finishing off the old traditional bounce pass,

beats everybody when he hits the ground

and they were in strong control.

And, you know, Paddy Flynn here

tries to bring them back into the game, you know, Widnes,

it's their only success of the game and he finishes this quite well.

But that's the only sign we saw from Widnes

and Denis Betts, their coach, was a little bit disappointed,

I think, with his reaction.

But you can't take anything away from Warrington.

And great ball-steal.

It releases Ryan Atkins under the sticks.

So everybody, all the usual culprits,

the Bridges and the Atkins, back to the fore for Warrington.

You know, they look very strong.

On to your game against Salford.

A big game for you guys.

Yeah, it was. It was a chance to get back on track,

and Shaun Lunt typically stealing the try

off the back of one of my carries,

which he does quite a lot!

Again, getting him back in the team's been fantastic for us.

He makes a lovely little break with a kick,

Grix back on the inside for Danny Brough and great support as well.

So, you know, we were doing it tough,

but we've managed to get back on track a little bit.

Adrian Morley, though,

he's been rolling back the years playing massive minutes,

and that one-out try was a spectacular try for him.

Salford, they didn't give in as well.

They played some interesting rugby,

but Rangi Chase, that's what he does best.

-Meli scoring a few tries, isn't he?

-He's playing well.

That left-hand side of Salford is very, very important

and they've got some talent in the team and they'll click.

And once they get a run of consistency

they'll trouble most teams.

They've got to bend their backs a little bit better, as we've seen,

but they've got a heck of a lot of prowess

and they're going to trouble some teams.

When they came back at you,

was there any sense of a wobble given recent results or not?

I'd like to say there wasn't

and we were confident that we'd quite easily

run away with it in the end, but it wasn't the case.

Against a team like Salford with so many great individuals,

you know, that you've got to go right to the final hooter.

Fortunately we did that,

Aaron Murphy picking up his hat-trick along the way as well,

which is great to see.

But it was always going to be tough against Salford.

A sense of relief to finally get back to winning ways?

Yeah, a massive relief.

And going over the weekend

we knew we had two really big games for ourselves

and we started it off really well with two points against Salford.

Well, the league leaders St Helens

took a 100% record into the Easter weekend.

Remember, they've had some dramatic victories over the last few weeks.

So, how did they get on against old rivals Wigan?

Stuart Pyke was watching.

Well, perfect conditions.

A sell-out crowd of just shy of 18,000

as Wigan looking to make the perfect start.

Farrell stopped just short. O'Loughlin.

O'Loughlin goes on his own! Has he got the ball down?

The Wigan captain thinks he's scored.

And he has, you know!

Well, that was sloppy defending.

Well, they say that the big names

It came off a St Helens hand.

And Farrell, Liam Farrell with a crucial score for Wigan.

It touched a St Helens hand.

He still had a lot to do,

and Liam Farrell....

they have to be the team that scores next.

They won't come any easier than that for the Saints' number two.

It really has been a brilliant game.

It's all going Wigan's way.

And at the start of the second half, Liam Farrell with his second try.

And Wigan take control once again.

Well, Lady Luck's smiling on Wigan...

There's no doubt Wigan have been targeting

Saints' right-side defence.

They're doing it again with Goulding! Burgess is away!

Burgess will score, and that's surely it now.

Wigan cruising against their bitter rivals.

It was Jordan Turner who missed the tackle

and young Joe Burgess,

what a revelation he's been in 2014.

And Matty Smith rubs salt in the Saints' wounds

against his home-town club.

And Saints' 100% record

is shattered by their big rivals.

Shaun Wane was particularly happy to be the coach, wasn't he,

that shattered that 100% record?

Wigan showing yet again they are the team for the big game, aren't they?

Of course, he would be really excited about that one

because it is the big game for them.

For me, Saints have just had a few cracks

in their defensive armour, especially.

You could see it was going to happen at some point.

Against Wigan it was always going to happen.

I think Wigan played fantastically and Saints went toe to toe

for a while but couldn't handle them in the end.

Both coaches picked out Sean O'Loughlin and how special he was.

What is it that makes him such a good player?

I picked him out as well.

I commentated on that game and he is very special

and has been for a while. He is strong.

Whatever you want a rugby player to be, he can do.

He can ball play, he can whack you if you run at him,

he can do the tough stuff when you need to roll your sleeves up.

Sean O'Loughlin shows up

and he really is a good leader by his performances.

What can he do? Pretty much anything sometimes.

It is interesting. He's not a flashy player,

he just seems to be the key player for the team.

He reminds me of Farrell of old, to be honest.

He is that sort of influential player that you need in your team to

especially win the big games, he has all the skills

and the fitness levels.

You know when he's not playing that they are not going to be

quite at their best.

When they are in the team they are very dangerous.

Wigan had a slightly up and down beginning to the season

but five wins in a row, how good do you think they're looking now?

Their machine is rolling again and that is a compliment.

They have very good structures and people know their roles,

and know how they play and what to do.

So once people are finding their form,

they have had a strange start to the season.

As champions they had to go down under for the World Club Challenge

which is disruptive, what anybody says.

But they were always very confident once they got into their rhythm.

With the spine of their team back,

when you look at McIlorum, Blake, Smith

and O'Loughlin and the full-back, Matty Bowen

getting used to the systems at Wigan, they're pretty potent.

You talked about cracks in St Helens

and maybe do you feel that defeat was coming

because they have run it pretty close, haven't they, in recent weeks?

Yeah, I think Nathan Brown alluded to it and

a few of the players probably not playing up to full potential.

There were a few injuries as well.

Kyle Amor, who was injured against ourselves,

and he's a massive player for them. He is probably their best forward.

The likes of him and other players around him

really need to do the hard yards and unfortunately he wasn't playing

and there was no-one really who stepped up to the plate.

So that is Thursday and Friday taken care of.

Let's find out what happened on Easter Monday.

Saints have been stung

but could Widnes make it back-to-back defeats for the leaders?

Waiting in the wings, the Rhinos are shooting for the top.

They are at home to Salford.

And the best of the rest.

The highlights of round 10 as the Easter weekend draws to a close.

Castleford and Warrington enjoyed big derby wins on Friday

and they met at the Jungle on Monday afternoon.

Slightly surprisingly,

there only really looked like one winner in this one, didn't there?

This is some place to go.

You have got to bring your A game to try and beat...

James Clare finishing in the corner there.

They are on fire here, are Castleford.

They have been all season, I have watched a number of games

and it is Michael Monaghan with the charge down here on the sneak kick.

It gives them parity early in the game.

From here on in, it is Castleford, Castleford, Castleford.

Nice small kicks and Shenton finishing.

He is playing really well, Michael Shenton, at the moment.

I think Daryl Powell has mentioned the fact that this

is as good as he has ever seen him play.

Again they are just probing at the line all the time.

Great skills and here he is again, finishing off another play.

So it was all one-way traffic, right from the score of Michael Monaghan.

Second half, I think they scored, was it 21 unanswered points?

It just goes to show that... James Clare again finishing in the corner.

The kind of tries they're scoring always have a lot of ball

movement as well.

The atmosphere here is quite intimidating

and it raises the Castleford players. Again, Hauraki

getting himself free and finishing the play there.

What about Warrington? That is a big defeat.

It is.

That element of consistency, I suppose,

is not quite there yet for Warrington.

We saw them a couple of days ago with a great

win over a tough Widnes team.

Again we see Castleford fire at the line.

Great pass from Shenton, flies onto the ball. 40 points to 6.

It is just not the kind of consistency, I suppose,

but everybody will be sharpening their claws for the second

half of the season, trying to get that kind of consistency.

Make no mistake, Castleford at home, particularly,

they have only lost two games anyway the whole of the season.

But Castleford at home is a tough ask of anybody.

Two more games from Monday now.

Let's find out how St Helens reacted to their first defeat of the season.

They made the short bank holiday journey to Widnes.

Widnes and St Helens were two sides seeking to atone for bad

days on Good Friday.

It was the home side who struck first when Rhys Hanbury raced through

in support of the break.

The Vikings were showing no ill effects of their heavy

defeat to the Wolves, and after much probing they got further reward as

Cameron Phelps released Samoan Willie Isa to round off a spectacular score.

However, that try seemed to spark Saints into life,

and with 24 minutes of the game gone, they finally responded when

Sia Soliola touched down.

After Vikings prop Alex Gerrard and front row Saint Mose Masoe

traded tries, Nathan Brown's visitors reduced the arrears to just

two points as Paul Wellens landed this converted try with

half-time looming.

But the Vikings hit back with force after the break

and soon after Kevin Brown had laid on the past for Hanbury's

second try of the game,

the home side were able to establish a 12-point lead with

the move of the match, taking in Danny Tickle and Chris Dean,

leaving the gloss to be added by Paddy Flynn.

Just past the three-quarter point of the match,

St Helens provided hope of a comeback when Tommy Makinson

squeezed in at the corner for one of his trademark tries.

The gap had now been reduced down to eight.

But a converted Chris Dean try five minutes later increased

the margins once again.

And despite another reply from Lance Hohaia, Macgraff Leuluai

was able to seal the Vikings' first-ever home

win over Saints in the Super League era.

The Catalan Dragons stretched their unbeaten run to four in league

and cup with this points feast in France.

They opened the scoring in the fourth minute as Leon Pryce

and Zeb Taia combined to release Morgan Escare, who set

the tone for this one with a 50m dash.

Involved in the first try,

Leon Pryce would be instrumental in the second nine minutes later.

His effort, aided by some fortune,

presented an opportunity for Elliott Whitehead to score.

Further Dragons damage was done when Michael Oldfield landed a third try.

But the Robbins would hit back with vigour and their awesome response

started when Travis Burns probed and Greg Eden prodded his way through.

Better would soon follow for the resurgent Robins,

as Jordan Cox added a converted try, and against all of the odds,

Hull KR would lead at half-time, with Omari Caro's

six pointer.

The two sides traded tries shortly after the break. After Taia's

robust work up the middle, Escare sent Daryl Millard

in at the corner.

The Robins hit back with Caro's second try,

meaning their two-point lead was restored.

Still with over half an hour left to play.

But the Dragons then added definitive breathing space,

Leon Pryce set up a second try for Oldfield before Elliott Whitehead

and the boot of Thomas Bosc sealed the win.

Is that one of those ones where every other team went,

"Phew, thank goodness we didn't have to go to the South of France"?

Without a doubt.

It is one of the toughest places to go, if not the toughest.

You always know that it is going to be a tough ask to play against

Catalans at home because they seem to just play a lot better there.

It is a hostile atmosphere and having to go home, it'll be a day after

playing a game, it is not something I would look forward to.

Interesting Laurent Frayssinous

talking afterwards about the pride in his players

and the performance they put up,

such a different story to the beginning of the season from them.

They look a different side, don't they?

They have dug their way out.

I saw a couple of games that they just got over the line,

and they have rolled their sleeves up

and had to do some really tenacious tackling

and some simple things, un-Catalan type things,

to get themselves back on the winning roster.

Now they are, you can see their confidence flooding back

and they are moving the ball about, more like the old Catalan.

Big win for Widnes.

Yes, St Helens had quite a few players out but a great win,

particularly given the defeat they had had.

You still have to put in a massive performance against any

St Helens team and this is no different.

Widnes, though, seem to play a lot better at home for some reason.

They showed it yet again with some great skills,

some fantastic tries and they deserved the result that they got.

Saints not quite at the races.

A few injuries and some young lads coming in,

but from looking at what the St Helens players are saying, some

young lads played reasonably well and that as well so that is good to see.

Defeat for St Helens meant that we would have new Super League

leaders if Leeds could beat Salford at Headingley.

Dave Woods was watching.

Five minutes played and a decent position that Leeds find

themselves in. Sinfield.

Achurch has made a half-break and Sinfield in support

I think they need to do it pretty quickly as well, it is

because with all the changes that have been going on...

I know, playing against them very recently,

they probably weren't at the best they could have been

and to change things even within the game,

so they need to sort themselves out a little bit but give themselves

the best opportunity, they have got the players.

Well, there was a big win on Easter Monday for Wigan.

The Warriors made seven changes from the team that beat St Helens

but they were far, far too strong for a young

and injury-hit Bradford side?

Yeah, these changes that they made were two exciting players.

and three exciting young players in Hampshire, Powell and Williams

that are playing for them at the moment with these changes.

They are just moving the ball fantastically well.

John Bateman has been great for them, hasn't he, so far this season?

He has been terrific, he has got better and better.

I watched him early in the season for Wigan at Castleford,

he wasn't quite as good, but his last few games have been

probably what Shaun would expect him to be.

Once they get into your back field they are just too strong.

How tough is this for Bradford?

Well, it was tough, and people will be looking at the scoreline

and thinking, "Oh, my goodness." But these things can happen.

Certainly at Easter, he made a lot of changes.

Time is running out for them in respect of what

they have to do and when they have to do it.

I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water,

I would throw that particular one in the bin, this game,

and get on with the job at hand that they have got.

Another one-sided game over at Hull with London.

Yeah, Hull very impressive, though.

What has impressed me so far this season is a couple of standout

players for Hull in Jamie Shaul and Jordan Rankin.

I think they have been two of the better players within the team

and two massive highlights.

But the old fella in the middle, Gaz Ellis, great footwork,

off-load and back on the inside.

It is Rankin that has a massive turn of pace,

he absolutely skinned me in the game at their place.

I couldn't believe how quick he was and I was determined to get him

but could get nowhere near him.

And also Jacob Miller, who was a bit of a strange signing.

And he didn't get off to the best of starts, in and out of the team,

but he has got back into the side and is doing really well

and scoring another try there.

And then back again with Jamie Shaul, a great off-load,

back on the inside.

Westerman there, slight footwork, off-load again,

breaking tackles and he just pushes in support with a great kick

and he is just wanting that bounce.

It just sits up for him, fantastic try.

And then to finish it off in fine style, it's Jordan Rankin yet again.

So these two players have just been fantastic for me for Hull.

I think you rounded that one up very well.

I don't even need to ask any questions!

Finally, let's see how Huddersfield

and Eorl here got on against Wakefield.

Remember the Giants were looking to complete a perfect Easter.

Yeah, it was a strange one to be in the changing rooms after.

We knew that it wasn't our best performance

and it was very tough going into that game.

I felt pretty fresh myself going into it

and after about five minutes my legs felt like jelly.

So we knew that we had been in a tough game,

especially against Wakefield who were searching for another win.

We made it hard for ourselves at times but we came through

the other side and are happy to get four points over Easter.

Absolutely, to get back-to-back wins given the run you have

had must be a huge relief?

Yeah, we're just wanting to grow in confidence

a little bit and gain a little bit of momentum.

We have started to do that. We know that we need to improve.

Our first game against Salford,

a lot better than what we played today.

Finally got it out the way.

So a good Easter for Huddersfield.

Let's see where their two wins leave them

and everybody else in the First Utility Super League table.

Leeds take over at the top, with Castleford moving up to second.

The Tigers are level on points with St Helens.

Wigan and Widnes have a game in hand,

Bradford remain two points adrift at the bottom.

And after everybody has got their breath back, it is

back to the Challenge Cup this weekend.

We are all going to be at Leeds versus Saints.

What is going to be the key for the team that wins that?

I think personally it is whoever controls the ball,

and we know they have got two really good teams,

especially Leeds the way they are playing at the moment.

Their performances have been fantastic.

Saints not quite at the races, as we have said before,

-but it all goes out the window at the weekend.

-Can you pick a winner?

I slightly disagree with the big man here.

I think it is the team that uses the ball the best.

I think percentages will go out the window

and who takes their opportunities the most

and probably kicks the better will be the winners.

Leeds at home will be difficult to dislodge

but I think Saints after a couple of losses...

Just looking at one other game, Salford-Widnes.

-How big a game is it for Salford?

-Huge.

Chance of a good Challenge Cup run and Widnes at home which

are certainly no gimmes because they have had a terrific win today.

And I think they will be fired up

but I think Salford have the arsenal.
