Hello - a month into the Super League season,

:00:39.:00:40.

the champions were at the bottom

:00:41.:00:42.

and the team that some thought would be at

:00:43.:00:45.

It has been that sort of year so far.

:00:46.:00:51.

We have reached round four and here is what is up.

:00:52.:00:55.

Did Warrington's high wire `ct continue or was it just

:00:56.:00:57.

Up, up under way - the pointless pair of Leeds

:00:58.:01:06.

and Huddersfield looked to jump-start their

:01:07.:01:07.

And Corey, blimey, the Super League's top try scorer

:01:08.:01:24.

wings in for a magical

:01:25.:01:25.

No one has scored more Super League tries in the last 20 years

:01:26.:01:29.

than the Leeds captain Danny McGuire.

:01:30.:01:30.

He is alongside the slightlx less prolific but equally

:01:31.:01:33.

Round four began on Thursdax with a meeting of Salford

:01:34.:01:36.

and Warrington and watching on was Dave Woods.

:01:37.:01:39.

Holding down too long against Chris Hill.

:01:40.:01:54.

Didn't get off quick enough from the referee Robert

:01:55.:01:56.

So an excellent position ag`in here for Salford and Junior Sa'u

:01:57.:02:07.

Junior Sa'u, fourth try in four appearances this season.

:02:08.:02:17.

Keeping alive on this right hand side.

:02:18.:02:23.

Well, Jack Hughes might be over the line here.

:02:24.:02:28.

Jack Hughes under all this, thinks try.

:02:29.:02:53.

And on the balance of the evidence, I think the video referee

:02:54.:02:56.

Judgment on the field and try is given.

:02:57.:03:00.

Two tries in the opening eight minutes.

:03:01.:03:01.

Oh, it's another big effort down the right-hand side.

:03:02.:03:21.

On the fifth, Dobson slides into the in-goal area.

:03:22.:03:53.

Oh, he's going to have a go from there as well!

:03:54.:04:02.

this left-hand side, dealt with by defenders.

:04:03.:04:22.

It is taken in mid air by Jtnior Sa'u.

:04:23.:04:28.

If this is Kevin... It will now be his fifth in four

:04:29.:04:44.

appearances nothing is wrong with the grounding here. There is the

:04:45.:04:49.

result, the decision. Junior Sa u. Quick hands again from Dobson. Well

:04:50.:05:04.

taken by Josh Griffin, rollhng over the line. What has happened

:05:05.:05:07.

here? The referee is not sure. He has given the try and Griffhn is

:05:08.:05:19.

A penalty and it is all getting a little heated year. Ben

:05:20.:05:49.

Currie... And the referee is in the calm things down. -- heated here. A

:05:50.:06:02.

penalty for Gareth or Brian. They are impressive this year. W`rrington

:06:03.:06:06.

need a response. Ben Currie, a dreadful night at the

:06:07.:06:21.

moment. And absolutely filthy night, the rain pouring down. And just

:06:22.:06:28.

reacquainting himself with him here, patting him on the back of the head.

:06:29.:06:34.

He is not impressed and Justin Carney has got involved. He suddenly

:06:35.:06:38.

came in from nowhere, and I think there might have been something here

:06:39.:06:45.

as well. The penalty is givdn for that messing

:06:46.:06:48.

about and Ben Currie robs the back of his head, not the way to calm

:06:49.:06:54.

things down and then Justin Carney comes in and for some reason decides

:06:55.:06:56.

to shove Ashton Sims in the face. It is

:06:57.:06:57.

a yellow Currie and Justin Carney is off as

:06:58.:07:02.

well for ten minutes. Now it is Atkins, Ryan Atkins! His

:07:03.:07:13.

100th try. giving Warrington a Smith of the

:07:14.:07:18.

whole year. Sandow, a good carry again by

:07:19.:07:38.

Hughes. Sandow... Attempted kick to the in goal area and he is there to

:07:39.:07:42.

touch it down! Warrington are getting closer and closer, they will

:07:43.:07:45.

be back Drive by Rhys Evans. A dummx half. A

:07:46.:07:46.

little skip and a jump! Ashton Sims! It is over! Warrington are right

:07:47.:08:05.

back in it. At 30-30, with 14 to play. Ht is

:08:06.:08:34.

charged down. Salford have ht back. Offside! Against

:08:35.:08:39.

Dobson, Sandow's drop goal charged down, and a penalty. Sandow, to get

:08:40.:08:57.

two points, the unlikeliest two points. He has missed!

:08:58.:08:59.

This will be just about the last play here.

:09:00.:09:05.

Sandow, Dodgers away with the drop goal. Sandow!

:09:06.:09:25.

An absolute screamer. Would you believe that?

:09:26.:09:30.

He missed the penalty. He h`s landed an almost impossible drop goal to

:09:31.:09:48.

win the game. Sensational! STUDIO: Some ending, that. No fence,

:09:49.:09:55.

but he has kept more of these then you have! How difficult was that?

:09:56.:10:01.

The distance, 40 metres out. The conditions, you have to takd that

:10:02.:10:05.

into account, a wet, slippery night. The last second of the game, to be

:10:06.:10:09.

able to nail that, obviouslx the place Sandow is another mintte,

:10:10.:10:13.

playing with confidence, looks like he has found his feet and they were

:10:14.:10:16.

lucky to win the game. Is that the kind of thing and he is kicking

:10:17.:10:19.

throughout the game, that they have been missing?

:10:20.:10:23.

Yet, that's obviously why they signed him,

:10:24.:10:24.

he had a great reputation in the NRL as being a bit of a maverick

:10:25.:10:28.

with a great kicking game and I think he

:10:29.:10:30.

Looks like he is in a more comfortable environment.

:10:31.:10:34.

I think it is always tough to go to a place in mid-season

:10:35.:10:37.

and find your feet, but it seems like he has found his feet

:10:38.:10:40.

18 points down, they were, that is quite comeback from

:10:41.:10:44.

If that character in the team, self belief?

:10:45.:10:47.

Tony Smith seemed to say at the end of that from a way out,

:10:48.:10:51.

he felt if they were in it with 20 minutes to go,

:10:52.:10:54.

I think last year they found themselves in similar posithons

:10:55.:11:02.

throughout the whole of the season, they had a tough transition`l year

:11:03.:11:05.

and this year they have a few more troops,

:11:06.:11:07.

they have some better players, as it were, and they have got more

:11:08.:11:10.

confidence and that self belief comes with those players as well,

:11:11.:11:13.

so that's why they have gond on all the way and pushed it right

:11:14.:11:16.

Salford, totally different, they are not used to being

:11:17.:11:19.

Is that the key for them now, two weeks in a row, they have

:11:20.:11:24.

narrowly lost out, they need to learn to

:11:25.:11:25.

I wouldn't be too disheartened if I was Salford, they have started

:11:26.:11:30.

the season really well and some of the

:11:31.:11:32.

signings they have made, they look more of a workmanlike team

:11:33.:11:35.

and they are working hard for each other,

:11:36.:11:37.

which is obviously going to make them a stronger unit this ydar

:11:38.:11:40.

and obviously losing their in the dying second,

:11:41.:11:42.

and obviously losing there in the dying second,

:11:43.:11:44.

but I'm sure they will bounce back from that.

:11:45.:11:47.

The flip side obviously the Warrington is it is a f`ntastic

:11:48.:11:50.

What does that do have the confidence of Salford,

:11:51.:11:53.

I think it will probably damage their confidence a lhttle bit

:11:54.:11:56.

because they will have thought they would have gone on to win that

:11:57.:12:00.

game, they will be disappointed but again, it is character building.

:12:01.:12:02.

As Danny says, I wouldn't bd too disheartened by that,

:12:03.:12:04.

I think it is a great position they got themselves

:12:05.:12:07.

into but if they do learn and they do keep moving

:12:08.:12:10.

forward, they will win those games in the future

:12:11.:12:12.

Get yourselves in those poshtions and the errors that you madd,

:12:13.:12:16.

they can only serve you and make you stronger in the long run

:12:17.:12:19.

So Warrington left it late to maintain their perfect rdcord.

:12:20.:12:23.

They hit the far from perfect M 2 on Friday night for the trip

:12:24.:12:27.

Your commentator for this one is Matt Newson.

:12:28.:12:31.

And they have made an early breakthrough at the KC.

:12:32.:12:39.

Close to the line, Scott Taxlor against his former club,

:12:40.:13:18.

Hull lining up drop goal attempt here.

:13:19.:14:31.

Bateman is going to try and take it to the line.

:14:32.:14:52.

The desire and the guts that they showed, the kids,

:14:53.:15:09.

having shown the players, I thought

:15:10.:15:13.

it was an outstanding effort, against a really, really well

:15:14.:15:18.

Defensively, obviously, to leak points, you're alwaxs

:15:19.:15:25.

But last week we played a top six side in Castleford

:15:26.:15:31.

and I think this week we pl`yed a top four side in Wigan,

:15:32.:15:34.

and we were just marginally off on both

:15:35.:15:36.

occasions, so, you know, there is obviously room

:15:37.:15:38.

for improvement, and that is what we have to knuckle down

:15:39.:15:41.

Have you seen a game where they have exchanged

:15:42.:15:46.

But it was the quality of the drop goals.

:15:47.:15:54.

Another one from about 40 ott as well, so it is good to sde,

:15:55.:15:59.

good for the sport, but agahn two teams that will be challenghng

:16:00.:16:02.

According to Sean Wynne, they have yet to really plax well.

:16:03.:16:07.

Yes, you don't want to be pdaking at this time of the year

:16:08.:16:15.

It is about building, about starting and gaining that

:16:16.:16:18.

I think Wigan have some rard players and Sean Wynne seems

:16:19.:16:22.

to be moving them along steadily, you know,

:16:23.:16:25.

and they have an impressive home record.

:16:26.:16:27.

So it's going to be a tough place to go on Friday night.

:16:28.:16:30.

They had a lot of players away with England during the internathonal

:16:31.:16:33.

series at the end of last sdason, so is it not surprising to ` certain

:16:34.:16:36.

extent they are lacking a bht of fluidity in attack

:16:37.:16:40.

because so many of the playdrs have not had much of a pre-season?

:16:41.:16:43.

Yes, potentially, but they `re still winning and at this point

:16:44.:16:46.

of the season, it's about gdtting the points on the board.

:16:47.:16:48.

You know, the teams will start coming to

:16:49.:16:50.

the fore towards August timd, September time, when it really

:16:51.:16:52.

matters, but Wigan are still winning and they are up there at thd top

:16:53.:16:56.

What about Hull, again a very narrow defeat for them,

:16:57.:16:59.

is their next step a little bit like Salford, closing

:17:00.:17:02.

Possibly, but it's all about getting yourselves up for the big g`mes

:17:03.:17:08.

and also the lower ranked teams as well.

:17:09.:17:11.

They get themselves into a position, they are really confident.

:17:12.:17:15.

But they are not getting over the line.

:17:16.:17:17.

Against Wigan, I think they competed a lot better.

:17:18.:17:19.

They were a lot more physic`l, they looked a lot more

:17:20.:17:22.

fitter, a lot of energy, you need that in the big gales,

:17:23.:17:24.

but it is against the teams further down the table that you need that

:17:25.:17:28.

as well, you need the right balance and I am

:17:29.:17:30.

sure they will start winning some games.

:17:31.:17:32.

Well sitting on top of the try scoring charts after the opdning

:17:33.:17:35.

month of the season was the witness winger Corey Thompson.

:17:36.:17:37.

He clocked up plenty of air miles over the winter

:17:38.:17:40.

after signing from Canterbury, but he issues to life at thd airport

:17:41.:17:44.

after signing from Canterbury, but he is used to life

:17:45.:17:47.

and that is where we found last week.

:17:48.:17:49.

My brother was a supervisor at the Brisbane airport and,

:17:50.:17:55.

you know, I was just playing semiprofessional,

:17:56.:17:57.

games like pup footy and my mum was sick of me staying at home every

:17:58.:18:04.

day so I got a job there, throwing bags around for a few years

:18:05.:18:07.

and thank God football came knocking and, you know,

:18:08.:18:09.

I have done that for a full, time job for just four years

:18:10.:18:14.

I am enjoying it now and I'l hoping my footy career can keep

:18:15.:18:18.

going many more years because I am not looking forward to going back

:18:19.:18:22.

I was lucky enough to sign with the Bulldogs.

:18:23.:18:24.

I was lucky enough to play in the Grand Final

:18:25.:18:26.

the year I debuted, so I thhnk I played every game that ye`r

:18:27.:18:29.

and the Grand Final and it is something I'll

:18:30.:18:32.

never forget and I enjoyed ly time there very much.

:18:33.:18:34.

Then I got offered to come over to the Super League and it was too

:18:35.:18:38.

good to refuse, so I took that up and I am enjoying it.

:18:39.:18:44.

It is going to bounce kindly for Thompson.

:18:45.:18:51.

Thompson gets his second. Wd knew we always had a team that could start

:18:52.:18:59.

the year well but we have rdally sent a message to the rest of the

:19:00.:19:02.

Super League that this year, we are going to be competitive and we could

:19:03.:19:06.

finish right up there. We wdre unlucky not to be four out of four.

:19:07.:19:11.

We started slowly in Salford and you can't give a quality team at 22

:19:12.:19:15.

point head start and we almost came back but Salford got a late try If

:19:16.:19:19.

we keep playing it simple and up-tempo, we can go a long way in

:19:20.:19:23.

this competition and we are expecting ourselves to go w`y and we

:19:24.:19:28.

will let ourselves down if we don't. I have got six tries and yot know,

:19:29.:19:33.

it should be out but I have an excellent centre playing inside me

:19:34.:19:37.

in Chris Bridge and I enjoy playing outside him, he gives me good ball

:19:38.:19:41.

and I don't have to work too hard to get the ball down, so I can't take

:19:42.:19:46.

too much from my tries. I h`ven t been around many English boxs, they

:19:47.:19:49.

make me laugh with their sense of humour, they are always havhng a go

:19:50.:19:52.

at me about being Australian and the way I speak. I am really enjoying it

:19:53.:19:57.

over here, I get along with all of the boys, it is a great culture

:19:58.:20:00.

Widnes and everyone is enjoxing each other's company. I live in

:20:01.:20:06.

Manchester so when I am in Liverpool or Manchester, I walk around like a

:20:07.:20:09.

tourist and take photos of the places and just enjoy it. I have

:20:10.:20:13.

never been to London so I w`nt to get down there, and to Scotland but

:20:14.:20:17.

just worry about 40 and hopdfully have the chance to travel. H have

:20:18.:20:22.

been here almost every week, I am still getthng used

:20:23.:20:26.

to it and I really enjoy it, it was a good decision to come herd and I

:20:27.:20:34.

am loving football at the moment. He certainly seems to be settling in

:20:35.:20:38.

well, he looks a pretty good signing, doesn't he? Yes, hd started

:20:39.:20:43.

the season really well and he touched on it there, he has a

:20:44.:20:46.

quality Centre inside him in Chris Bridge. Thinking back to Chris

:20:47.:20:51.

Bridge's Warrington days, I can remember Chris Hicks scoring loads

:20:52.:20:54.

tries outside him so he is definitely a centre that provides

:20:55.:20:59.

his winger with of tries. How key are those partnerships out on the

:21:00.:21:03.

wing? We sometimes forget about it. They are key virtue have to have

:21:04.:21:07.

good finishes and Thompson hs a great finisher, but you havd the

:21:08.:21:12.

people in the middle of the field laying the platform. The right side

:21:13.:21:17.

for Widnes is fantastic, with Ken Brown looping round. Plenty of

:21:18.:21:20.

people that can cause havoc in the opposition so he will pick tp plenty

:21:21.:21:24.

of tries. Got to give the prop forward credit. Widnes were at home

:21:25.:21:30.

to Hull KR, the Vikings looking forward to go back to the top of the

:21:31.:21:33.

table but it was the Vikings that scored -- it was Hull KR who scored

:21:34.:21:40.

first. Yes, they did this l`st week, starting in such great form, and it

:21:41.:21:45.

is like a mental side of it but after that, it was all Widnds. This

:21:46.:21:50.

is the right side, getting the ball through the middle, Rhys Halbrick

:21:51.:21:54.

gets it and then it is over in the corner, a fantastic finish. And Joel

:21:55.:21:58.

Muller has been a standout player from a so far, he is absolutely

:21:59.:22:03.

rapid. Every time he gets hhs hands on the ball, it starts with Ken

:22:04.:22:09.

Brown, Mellor through uses great footwork and his speed. Brown so

:22:10.:22:15.

often gets the headlines, btt he is so important as well. The

:22:16.:22:20.

partnership has gotten stronger over the last few years and in mx

:22:21.:22:23.

opinion, witness one of the best attacking teams in the compdtition,

:22:24.:22:26.

they can score tries from anywhere, they are a real threat and with Rhys

:22:27.:22:32.

Hambly linking from the back, they are fantastic. We can see your old

:22:33.:22:39.

team out there, it is tough at the moment, they have so few pl`yers.

:22:40.:22:44.

They are in a hole at the moment, struggling with injuries, btt that

:22:45.:22:48.

is a fantastic try, he showdd a lot of ability in the academy at Leeds

:22:49.:22:51.

and didn't get too much opportunity with us so I am hoping he does well

:22:52.:22:56.

for Hull KR. Corey Thompson weighed in with a couple of tries, but it

:22:57.:23:00.

doesn't seem to get the message not to dive all the way on the pitch. I

:23:01.:23:06.

am not saying anything and H will get hammered, but Chris Bridge with

:23:07.:23:09.

a great pass as well. It is the right side, bridge with the flick

:23:10.:23:15.

pass, Thompson with the fend off and dives into the corner yet again

:23:16.:23:19.

He's the one putting the body on his line, that is what you want to see.

:23:20.:23:24.

At the end of the game, Hull KR saying James Webster will bd the

:23:25.:23:26.

interim coach for the rest of the season. What do you of having an

:23:27.:23:33.

interim coach? It is an intdresting decision. Chris Chester did

:23:34.:23:37.

brilliantly getting Hull KR to the Challenge Cup final and it hs sad to

:23:38.:23:40.

see him leave, but obviouslx, the people in charge think they need a

:23:41.:23:45.

change in our Governor James Webster is very good technically, so we will

:23:46.:23:50.

probably see some improvements on the defensive side of the g`me and

:23:51.:23:55.

hopefully they will improve over the coming weeks. One of the thhngs

:23:56.:24:00.

Jamie Peacock pointed out, he is part of the club, he knows the DNA,

:24:01.:24:04.

and is that key at this momdnt in time?

:24:05.:24:14.

Again it is just adding somdone else to the team to help them progress. A

:24:15.:24:21.

lot of pressure was put on discussing it before saying,

:24:22.:24:24.

basically, a lot of clubs do not just have one coach, they h`ve the

:24:25.:24:27.

assisteds as well and need those people in place to make surd

:24:28.:24:29.

everything runs smoothly and they have all the right techniquds in

:24:30.:24:33.

place. It is a lot of presstre of one person so I think it helps a

:24:34.:24:37.

little. I wonder, from his time at Wakefield, what he would have taken?

:24:38.:24:46.

Obviously Wakefield is a totgh job, everything that went on at the club

:24:47.:24:48.

at that time. Like I said bdfore, I think he has big wraps for his

:24:49.:24:53.

offensive game and they havd very good attacking players so I am sure

:24:54.:24:57.

he will be working on those structures but, OK, probablx need to

:24:58.:25:00.

tighten up a bit defensivelx to do anything this year. Leeds and

:25:01.:25:05.

Huddersfield finished in thd top three last year but they were the

:25:06.:25:08.

bottom two at the start of the run. Neither registered a win in February

:25:09.:25:11.

and were hoping to spring for in March. -- spring forward in March.

:25:12.:25:28.

COMMENTATOR: He is costing. Leeds are deflated here,

:25:29.:25:30.

struggling -- coasting. Nothing is going Huddersfield's way here.

:25:31.:25:49.

Zak Hardaker with a chance to get them all square.

:25:50.:25:56.

And in the words of James, hf they hadn't seen such riches thex could

:25:57.:26:03.

live with being poor but it should get slightly better for at least one

:26:04.:26:05.

of these two sides tonight. It

:26:06.:26:13.

certainly needs to. Lilley... I think it has gone backwards. It has,

:26:14.:26:17.

so Leeds retain an attacking position here. It is Lilley again.

:26:18.:26:25.

Last play coming up. Hardakdr is into the line to provide thd testing

:26:26.:26:33.

kit. He got up superbly and Moon's finish is even better! They are

:26:34.:26:39.

having a look again. He says try. What about the video refered?

:26:40.:26:41.

Millimetres inside the whitdwash. It is the first try of the night.

:26:42.:26:48.

Joel Madden. -- Moon. To his right hand side here. A good

:26:49.:27:02.

tackle by Moon. Danny Brough off, my word!

:27:03.:27:06.

Danny Brough! How much easidr could try scoring be!

:27:07.:27:11.

The Leeds defends simply swhtched off. Sixth, coming up. They will

:27:12.:27:20.

test with a kit. He only gets his fingertips to read!

:27:21.:27:23.

McGillvary finishes and Leeds are pickdd again.

:27:24.:27:26.

A costly mistake. Not coming on after his hamstring

:27:27.:27:44.

injury, so yet another injury problem for Leeds. Here is

:27:45.:27:48.

Sutcliffe! Sutcliffe charges over. Liam Sutcliffe, injecting p`ce and

:27:49.:27:59.

power and determination! Danny Brough drilling it through, looking

:28:00.:28:06.

to put Leeds on the back th`t you're right from the start. Compotnded

:28:07.:28:10.

with a knock-on. He is having one of those nights tonight, Ryan Hall

:28:11.:28:15.

that he would hope to quickly forget. This has given Hudddrsfield

:28:16.:28:24.

terrific position. A quick dash and a dart here. He held up just short.

:28:25.:28:32.

It is just wide and Michael Lawrence is over! Huddersfield have the lead

:28:33.:28:44.

again. Cuthbertson, almost collared but got away with it and kedps

:28:45.:28:49.

things going, and the ball hs dropped back for Keinhorst to drop

:28:50.:28:55.

on, Keinhorst with a chance to score! And McGillvary's boot just

:28:56.:29:01.

got there first. Exasperation for Jimmy Keinhorst. Enthusiasm for

:29:02.:29:09.

McGillvary. Frustration for the coach. Here is Lilley. That is cute,

:29:10.:29:20.

and it is Keinhorst again! But have McGillvary's bits rescue thd day for

:29:21.:29:23.

a second time here for Hudddrsfield? They will have to look at the

:29:24.:29:32.

grounding here. -- boots. H`s he got enough on that, Jimmy Keinhorst

:29:33.:29:38.

Yes, he has. A picture paints a thousand words. The ball has gone to

:29:39.:29:47.

ground. Knocked on by Sutclhffe A penalty for Huddersfield. Two

:29:48.:29:57.

points. That is what he wants. What is the judgment? Penalty in front of

:29:58.:30:03.

the six which Jordan Lily should surely put over here!

:30:04.:30:08.

It has not been pretty from Leeds tonight,

:30:09.:30:12.

but they are going to get their first win of the season.

:30:13.:30:25.

Not a classic, but I'm guessing a huge amount of relief

:30:26.:30:28.

Yes, I think, you know, the conditions.

:30:29.:30:30.

It had rained all day and I think the pitch,

:30:31.:30:34.

always going to be a bit of a slog, a bit of a grind,

:30:35.:30:37.

and I think obviously the two points were crucial

:30:38.:30:40.

We could see both teams plaxing with not much confidence,

:30:41.:30:43.

and obviously we were reallx happy to get over the line and pick

:30:44.:30:46.

For Huddersfield, Paul saying that that is

:30:47.:30:52.

not a team at the bottom pl`ying, not that disappointed

:30:53.:30:55.

I think he will be disappointed with the result.

:30:56.:30:58.

The performance, it just wasn't brilliant for the whole gamd.

:30:59.:31:00.

That many errors, just not what we expect from

:31:01.:31:03.

ourselves, or even from Leeds for that matter.

:31:04.:31:05.

For us, I think it needs to change this week.

:31:06.:31:08.

We need to change something mentally as much

:31:09.:31:10.

We still have confidence, and if we remain

:31:11.:31:12.

positive I am sure we will start winning soon.

:31:13.:31:15.

Danny Brough is back, still a very key figure.

:31:16.:31:17.

It is absolutely fine, just the way it is.

:31:18.:31:25.

It gives Broughy an opportunity now to

:31:26.:31:27.

stop looking so miserable, like he does there.

:31:28.:31:29.

And just to crack on with what he does best, play rugby,

:31:30.:31:32.

You can see how much it makes a difference to us.

:31:33.:31:37.

That kick there, it is pinpoint it is bang on the line,

:31:38.:31:43.

and if Jamie can get up there and put some pressure

:31:44.:31:48.

on he might stand a chance of scoring a try.

:31:49.:31:50.

Danny Brough just picked the ball up.

:31:51.:31:54.

He doesn't even have to do anything, it is just

:31:55.:31:56.

electric off the mark, such a good player.

:31:57.:31:58.

It is what we need him doing, playing well.

:31:59.:32:02.

His kicking game is probablx the best in the league,

:32:03.:32:13.

that left foot, when you see him ready to take

:32:14.:32:16.

the kick, it puts the fear of God into the full-backs and the winners,

:32:17.:32:19.

so he is really crucial to what Huddersfield are dohng,

:32:20.:32:21.

and when they are playing well he is usually

:32:22.:32:23.

Obviously in your absence, Liam Sutcliffe and Jordan

:32:24.:32:26.

Lilley making up the halves for Leeds.

:32:27.:32:28.

I think they are doing a really good job.

:32:29.:32:32.

It is a tough situation for them lads.

:32:33.:32:34.

Liam coming back from a serhous injury, a ligament injury.

:32:35.:32:38.

He was always going to take a few weeks

:32:39.:32:40.

I thought on Friday's performance he was really good.

:32:41.:32:47.

And Jordan has nerves of stdel. What about his already kicking g`me?

:32:48.:32:53.

Getting potential there was a chance to pass the ball there but he has a

:32:54.:32:58.

lot of vision, and old school number seven, is Jordan. You know, he can

:32:59.:33:03.

pass, kick, all the attributes to make a great half. When are you due

:33:04.:33:08.

back? Called fully in a couple of weeks. I started running today, so

:33:09.:33:12.

working hard to try to get back as quick as possible. They will go to

:33:13.:33:17.

Wigan without you. A tough game that one? It is always a difficult

:33:18.:33:23.

place to go, Wigan. Their home form speaks for itself. They havd not

:33:24.:33:27.

lost at home for a while, a great team and it will be a tough ask for

:33:28.:33:32.

us but that Wimbledon of us some confidence and hopefully we can go

:33:33.:33:36.

there and play well. And ard you back this week? Yes, if seldcted of

:33:37.:33:41.

course. But with all their hnjuries they probably don't have much

:33:42.:33:44.

choice. I would like to start and that right in but it will bd tough

:33:45.:33:50.

for us ten as well. Two teals who have not won this season. And Hull

:33:51.:33:55.

KR. Yes, there just seems to be so much pressure early on in the

:33:56.:34:00.

season. The form will go up and down and we will be part of that but it

:34:01.:34:04.

starts this week, for me anxway Now time to speak about zoo anilals

:34:05.:34:14.

movie stars and art! Not Prhme Minister's Question Time, btt it is

:34:15.:34:17.

now the time of the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. A monkey. Probably

:34:18.:34:29.

a bit erratic, a bit daft. H would probably be a cheetah because of my

:34:30.:34:37.

electric pace. A giraffe, long neck and big Tom! Gorilla. Panda. A bit

:34:38.:34:51.

stupid. -- big tongue. I wotld probably say buying animals. A sign

:34:52.:35:04.

of wisdom, are in the? -- aren't they?. Danny DeVito. Tom Hardy.

:35:05.:35:11.

Probably myself. I find mysdlf quite funny at times! I am most scared of

:35:12.:35:22.

snakes, they terrify me. Sphders. I hate them. I hate heights, dven

:35:23.:35:33.

driving over a bridge. I don't care how big or small they are, spiders.

:35:34.:35:49.

Dying. Disco! I don't have ` clue. I used to play darts as well. The

:35:50.:35:54.

terminator. Do you have a d`rts name? I am a big fan and thd ones I

:35:55.:36:02.

would probably want would not happen. It would probably jtst be

:36:03.:36:08.

old fat Robbie Savage Crabtree. What about you? Maverick Maguire, Magic

:36:09.:36:16.

Maguire. Better than fat Robbie Savage, isn't it? Don't forget to

:36:17.:36:19.

get in touch with any questhons you would like us to ask your tdam. Just

:36:20.:36:24.

use the last tackle hashtag. The Wildcats were up against Catalans

:36:25.:36:31.

and it was a flying start bx the Dragons. They look pretty good in

:36:32.:36:36.

the first-half? They did, and he missed a lot of games last xear

:36:37.:36:39.

through injury and I think he will be a key player for Catalans this

:36:40.:36:44.

year. He set up three or fotr tries. Taylor, a real handful. The prop

:36:45.:36:50.

union will not be happy with that body fantastic kit for the try. What

:36:51.:36:55.

do you think of prop forwards? If you can get Paul Anderson to give me

:36:56.:37:02.

the chance I would have a go. Fantastic with the ball in hand but

:37:03.:37:06.

I do not think I will get a look in. You can see how easy it is for

:37:07.:37:09.

Catalans in this game, they just look like a team a lot physhcally

:37:10.:37:13.

stronger than the opposition. Everything is really easy and

:37:14.:37:16.

Wakefield seem to wake up and put in a couple of tries but they have to

:37:17.:37:19.

work really hard for everything they do and it just seems to be one of

:37:20.:37:23.

those days at the office. They look like the team of last year.

:37:24.:37:28.

Defensively, clearly a problem for Wakefield in this game. Are you

:37:29.:37:34.

heartened by the attacks? Yds, Boxing Day, obviously I expdcted a

:37:35.:37:38.

better season this year frol Wakefield. They made strong

:37:39.:37:41.

signings. I think defensively they work it out bit cold here. With the

:37:42.:37:48.

score, it is difficult to gdt back into a game after a poor st`rt like

:37:49.:37:52.

that. I think they probably will take time to gel and get working

:37:53.:37:57.

with Brian Smith but I expect them to improve as the season gods on.

:37:58.:38:01.

Catalans seemed to enjoy thdmselves in this game. They did, and they

:38:02.:38:07.

seemed to step it up. Look how strong he looks there, he looks like

:38:08.:38:12.

he is enjoying himself as wdll, Richie Myler, which is great to see.

:38:13.:38:16.

He got shot out a bit at Warrington but is now opening of a bit and

:38:17.:38:20.

seems to be enjoying himself. They are getting more players back,

:38:21.:38:24.

Catalans, one of those teams again who could push at the end of the

:38:25.:38:29.

season. His partnership, we spoke about this, but that could be really

:38:30.:38:33.

good, couldn't it? I think ht is crucial if you want to be a

:38:34.:38:36.

successful team and have a successful season, you need a good

:38:37.:38:40.

standing between your six and seven. I think by the looks of the clips we

:38:41.:38:45.

saw there, it is a work in progress but they are obviously both

:38:46.:38:49.

fantastically talented individuals. I am expecting big things from both

:38:50.:38:53.

of them this year. Finally, let s find out what happened in the match

:38:54.:38:56.

between St Helens and Castldford on Friday. Sharon has the detahls on

:38:57.:39:02.

this. COMMENTATOR: Castleford havd not won

:39:03.:39:07.

away at St Helens since 1992 but they Tigers took the lead. Opening

:39:08.:39:14.

try was followed up by a successful penalty. It did not take long for

:39:15.:39:19.

Sense to respond. A fortunate ricochet bringing the sense within

:39:20.:39:24.

two here. Handiwork saw thel extend their advantage. Make McMeeken broke

:39:25.:39:37.

through the Saints defence to score. -- Mike. Ben Roberts left the field

:39:38.:39:43.

injured. A smart series of passes eventually found their way to Matty

:39:44.:39:47.

Dawson who muscled over to give his side the lead going into half-time.

:39:48.:39:52.

The Saints coach branded thhs game as a typical epic between the two

:39:53.:39:56.

sides. With a 50th minute pdnalty levelling the scores, the sdesaw

:39:57.:39:59.

nature of the match continudd. Indecision gave the home side the

:40:00.:40:05.

advantage as Dominick Peyrotx cut the high ball and challenged. -

:40:06.:40:13.

caught a high ball and challenged. The second Matty Dawson try left

:40:14.:40:21.

Castleford's season in real jeopardy -- unbeaten season. Adam Miller left

:40:22.:40:25.

both sets of fans on their seats but it was too little too late with

:40:26.:40:32.

Saints securing the points. Where do you think Saints are at? Thdy

:40:33.:40:36.

started really well against you guys. They seem to be picking up

:40:37.:40:41.

again. What do you think? I don t think they are very special at the

:40:42.:40:44.

moment and I think they will want to improve as the season goes on. They

:40:45.:40:48.

have some great players but they are inconsistent. They can't sedm to get

:40:49.:40:51.

themselves into a position where they are playing consistently well

:40:52.:40:56.

all the time. They seem to have peaked and crafts. This gamd was the

:40:57.:41:00.

same. Castleford, though, you would expect a top battle against them

:41:01.:41:10.

they are not an easy beat a Top 14 # Peaks and troughs. They lost three

:41:11.:41:15.

players to that game. Out of is that for a side to deal with? Of his

:41:16.:41:20.

labours in three key influential players will not have helped but I

:41:21.:41:23.

think he did a fantastic job with them. I think they are potentially a

:41:24.:41:30.

top four team and to go to St Helens and run them close, losing place to

:41:31.:41:34.

injury, it shows they are stepping in the right direction and they are

:41:35.:41:39.

a tough team to play. It is funny. Two teams, playing out epics. They

:41:40.:41:44.

seem to have really good gales. Is that just matching styles? H think

:41:45.:41:50.

so. Certain teams find the hit their form at exactly the right thme when

:41:51.:41:53.

they play each other, it is very strange. Castleford beat in for the

:41:54.:41:59.

first time this season. Let's see how the road for results have left

:42:00.:42:05.

things in the table. Three teams separated by a point's diffdrence at

:42:06.:42:09.

the top with Widnes leading the way ahead of Warrington and Wig`n. It is

:42:10.:42:15.

on all north-west top four. The Rhinos first win of the season left

:42:16.:42:18.

them to ninth with Huddersfheld now on the bottom. Wigan faced Leeds on

:42:19.:42:26.

Friday and met five times l`st season, so get used to it! That is

:42:27.:42:37.

it for this week. My thanks to you both for joining

:42:38.:42:43.

us. I look forward to seeing you both out there, guys. We le`ve you

:42:44.:42:46.

with another withdrawal frol the Rugby league memory bank. A

:42:47.:42:53.

Excellent conditions and thd Wigan and Sean Wane.

:42:54.:43:05.

Excellent conditions and thd groundsman worked very hard all

:43:06.:43:07.

week. This is stupid! Wane... He is in! Here is a chance, a good

:43:08.:43:21.

knock-on. Yes! A magnificent pass. Michael Vaughan, I bet he whshes he

:43:22.:43:47.

could have these chances evdry week. Smith. It looks a penalty, `nd he is

:43:48.:44:01.

said of. -- said off. 11 pohnts I think Wigan either worthy whnners.
