around player production, and making sure that we can produce more and

better British and French athletes into our Super League competition.

That is really the only sustainable way, that we can compete with clubs

in the world club series. At some point, the salary cap in this

country will have to go up because we are losing players to other

sports and Australia because there is more money. In terms of retaining

those players who become role models, how can you raise the salary

cap? The idea for the marqude player rule was that. Just the increase in

the salary cap was not going to achieve what we needed to, but it

was about giving clubs the opportunity to retain, recrtit or

develop, the most elite playing develop, the most elite plaxing

talent. It is one player. Perhaps the option is, once we have seen how

the dust settles, we have two marquee players. Does a blanket

salary cap increase actuallx help. salary cap increase actually help.

It is great to have Sam Tomkins he is injured at the moment, that is

the sort of player that we need to be attracting more retaining, not an

increase in the cap that allows us to compete, four players in the NRL

who do not have clubs. If you're going to excuse the set of leasures

going to excuse the set of measures it will be to improve the club's

ability to retain recruit. We cannot give you a big pot of money but what

would you try and do to bridge the gap? I think minimum wage is one way

to start outside of your top ten players, the salary is not too good.

We see a lot of players moving over to the championship, a lot lore

got, Chris was outstanding for us, he should be in the Bradford Bulls

pushing for the Super Leagud and making the competition a bit harder

to play each and every week. What about you, what would July to see

underneath there is nowhere for them to play. If you are a young

five weeks without playing. 19 is, they are a bit too young to step

into the first team. We need to think about the reserve team,

think about the reserve teal, bringing them in so that you can
