In a little over 24 hours

we will know who will

be playing in Super Bowl LII.

We're down to the final four teams.

I'm joined by Osi

Umenyiora and Jason Bell

as we tackle the conference

championship round of the play-offs.

How they got there,

and who is going to make

it one step further

to the

Super Bowl.

Marcus Williams, if by some bizarre

chance you're watching,

these two are here for

you any time you need.

You're understanding aren't you?

I'm totally understanding

with my career.

So this weekend's conference titles

are up for grabs and with that title

a visit to the Super Bowl.

First, let's see where

we were going into

last weekend's divisional round.

In the AFC we have

the Tennessee Titans

up against the current champions,

the New England Patriots.

We have the Jacksonville

Jaguars up against

the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the NFC the Atlanta

Falcons visited

Philadelphia Eagles and the

New Orleans Saints were at the Super

Bowl venue in Minnesota

to play the Vikings.

And we're going to start the show

with highlights from the

final moments of this

incredible game.

But first, without giving away

the ending, and also without giving

away the language we

were using to each other

on our WhatsApp group

at

the end of this game...

Just describe where

you were, how you

experienced the final moments.

I was actually in an

airport lounge and I

a sudden it happens

and I go berserk.

so people think I have lost my mind.

Tonight's highlights,

the Saints were 17-0

down at half-time,

but

with just three minutes remaining

pulled into the lead by one

point.

So the score 21-20.

Put your feet up, grab some popcorn.

This is absolute box office.

Keenum throws it.

Flag.

Pass caught by Thielen.

Thielen with the catch

of a lifetime.

Assuming he makes this,

they're going to leave

time on the clock for

Drew Brees as well.

It'll be a 53 Yard Drive.

This is for the lead.

Four down...

He got it!

Troy, I think both head coaches

have what they want.

Game's on the line.

Drew Brees on the field

for Sean Payton.

And this defence on the field

for Mike Zimmer of Minnesota.

The vulnerability of that

defenses in the middle.

the hands of Michael Thomas.

Here we go, this is a game.

This is a game because they're not

in field goal range, so that means

the Saints have to get ten

yards to have a life.

to go for the field goal

left, the conversion.

Biggest throw of the game

by Drew Brees and it was

perfect.

You've got to believe Sean Payton's

going to keep this ball on

the ground.

Kumari in the backfield gets it.

Doesn't get anything.

In fact, lost half a yard.

Will Lutz, 29 seconds left.

And the Saints are back on top.

And so 25 seconds

left and this game is

not over.

That's the third lead change over

the last two minutes and

36 seconds.

25 seconds left, starting

at the 25, and it's all on

Case Keenum and this Minnesota

friends to give Kai Forbath another

chance 1st & 15.

Two Diggs for 1st down.

They've got to use

a time-out, I would think.

17 seconds left.

Time-out taken by the Vikings.

They're out of time-outs.

They need 20, 25 yards to give Kai

Forbath the chance

with 18 ticks remaining.

Down by one.

Pass to the sideline.

Nothing there.

The receiver, Wright,

had fallen down.

Rudolph was, I guess,

the closest to it.

14 seconds left.

Keenum gets his and

throw is incomplete.

More pressure.

Sheldon Rankins came through.

And now ten seconds remain

in what could be a heartbreaking

loss for the Vikings and a thrilling

come from behind win for the Saints.

Keenum steps into it,

pass is caught.

Diggs, sideline, touchdown!

Unbelievable!

Vikings win it!

You see Marcus Williams

here, he has a

shot.

I'm not sure really

what he's thinking, Joe.

He comes in, he's got him dialled

in, all he's got to do

is make a play.

And even if he catches it,

tackle him inbounds, the game is

over.

I know Diggs, he's catching this,

he is expecting somebody to

hit him.

And he turns around...

Nobody's there and he's off

to the races and it's pandemonium.

61 brilliant yards for Stefon Diggs.

And Case Keenum has just taken

the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC

Championship Game in a game none

of us will soon forget.

It was a remarkable

finish with a remarkable

final play.

We did loads on this on the Tuesday

night show, which is

still on the iPlayer, you can see

all the interviews and all the

reaction.

We're going to try and get

an understanding of what Marcus

Williams was trying to do with these

two now in a demonstration.

First just explain

what Minnesota were

thinking with that final play

and what they were hoping to happen.

Because that was beyond

their wildest dreams.

No question.

Catch the football,

get out of bounds,

give the field goalkicker a chance

to win the game for them.

That's not what happened though.

Had to get out of bounds

because that would have

stopped the clock, they were out

of time-out, so they would have

needed three or four seconds left

on the

clock.

Exactly.

OK, so for the purpose

of this demonstration, your

Diggs, you take the glory.

You get to be the defender.

Take the glory!

Can you imagine, can you role-play

this, can you delve into experience?

I can definitely break this down!

I understand taking bad angles.

What is Marcus Williams doing here?

Because obviously he's been

vilified for what happened.

He's a rookie as well.

He trying to do?

This guy's played

great all season, so

ultimately he had a great year.

He was a part of that

transformation.

What he's trying to do is first

of all knock the ball down.

Hopefully there is

an incomplete pass.

And keep the player inbounds.

But what he did was he

got there too early.

And he knows because everybody says,

don't give up a pass interference

call, because that moves

the ball up, gives

them a chance to kick

the

field goal.

He's got all this

going on in his head.

So if he'd have got there early

and touched Diggs or

whatever, that would have

been pass interference.

That would have been a penalty.

That would have been another play

for the Vikings within

field goal range.

Absolutely.

So he does not want that to happen.

So when he takes his

ankle and he gets

there a little too

early, he's like no.

I can't be here.

This is pass interference.

He does what defensive

backs do sometimes in bad

situations.

They put their head down,

start to look at the ground,

because they've got in there too

early and their hips are too low.

To stop them.

His head drops and now

he cannot see his opponent.

So now he doesn't even

see what's happening.

Because he's trying to keep him

inbounds at the same time but his

ankle's just a little off.

What happens as a player,

when you have

too many things going on in your

head in a reactionary situation, bad

things happen.

It was just an

unfortunate situation.

It was a lose-lose

situation, no way you

could have won.

If they'd caught the ball

they would have kicked the

field goal, I mean,

nothing he could have done.

Unfortunately.

Looks like he was the goat

in this situation.

I don't know how much room

there is for sympathy

in professional sport,

but do you have sympathy for him?

Yeah, you have to, man, because of

the season this guy's had.

He was part of the reason

why they make the

Renaissance, they made it

all the way to the playoffs in this

particular situation,

so for all this to be

on his shoulders right now,

in particular the Saints didn't

play all that well

in the first half.

There were so many

things that happened.

It shouldn't be on him right now.

How much credit do you give Diggs

for keeping the coolness

and composure?

In his head he must have thought,

I catch this and I get

out of bounds.

He didn't.

He caught the ball.

I think you saw what happened

and he just knew nobody on

the football field was anywhere

close to being as fast as him.

He just took off,

outstanding football

play.

I just want to show

you this as well.

Case Keenum at the end.

Bear in mind he's had to prove

himself all the way through his

career.

People have expected him to blow up

at some point during the

season and cost the Vikings

a run to the playoffs.

I just love the joy in his face

here as he coordinates the

Vikings fans in the skull chant.

This is after the Diggs touchdown.

This is a man relaxed and at home

and probably quite disbelieving at

what happened.

Yeah, he's probably

clapping saying...

Osi, Osi, Osi!

That's a good one.

That's about the only thing

you can make a joke about

at the moment.

The other AFC matchup

was between the Atlanta Falcons and

the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles were at home.

They were not favourites

thanks to the

inconsistency of their stand-in

quarterback Nick Foles.

Keep it inbounds.

Very good, very good.

Opportunity, that's

what we've got here today!

Show this team over here

what we're about, man!

Cut it loose today, have

fun, trust the man next

to you, all right?

The Atlanta Falcons

and Philadelphia Eagles.

No touchdown fest in Philadelphia.

The Eagles defense

is being introduced

because that is what Philadelphia

is leaning on most today.

At least not after one apiece.

First LeGarrette Blount

of the Eagles.

And Devonta Freeman for the Falcons.

Looking for the end zone.

What a play.

The Falcons in front

but pegged back and

overhauled by Jake

Elliott field goals.

It's good.

The Falcons unable

to find a way through.

The Eagles have defeated

the Atlanta Falcons.

They are one win away

from the Super Bowl.

Well, Osi, it surprised a lot

of people, did that result, despite

Philadelphia being

the number one seeds.

Yeah, I mean, everybody really

thought Atlanta was going to

go up there and beat them

because of the way they played

against Los Angeles Rams,

and because the

Philadelphia Eagles had

lost their quarterback.

I thought, for sure,

Philly would be the first number one

seed out and proved me wrong.

Outstanding, outstanding play by

their defense.

Even offensively they did

what they needed to do to get

the win.

Offensively they kept it simple,

but defensively, which has

been such a strength

of those all season,

they've delivered again.

Absolutely, they've got great

pressure, they stopped the run.

Coleman got a little

loose but ultimately

they were dominant

on

defense.

Let's show you how

the playoffs look now.

Number one seeds Philadelphia,

number two seeds

Minnesota.

They meet in Philadelphia tomorrow

for the right to go to the

Super Bowl in a couple

of weeks' time.

How do you see this matchup?

This is what you're going to call

old-fashioned bloodbath, a slugfest.

Two outstanding defenses, I mean,

they're not going to allow anything

to go on back there.

But I like the Philadelphia

Eagles in this football game.

I really do.

I know Minnesota has done

all the right things,

they had a miracle last week.

But Minnesota's going

to have to travel to Philadelphia.

It's going to be cold, the grass...

I know it's cold in Minnesota

but they play indoors.

Outside's going to be

a completely different game.

That Philadelphia defensive

line is outstanding.

They're going to get

after Case Keenum.

You know we don't agree.

OK, cool.

So first of all, you're right,

great defenses, right?

Both these defenses attack,

they pressure,

they do that well.

So that can almost eliminate...

They can almost

eliminate each other.

This game is about quarterbacks.

And Nick Foles does

not perform well under pressure.

But Case Keenum does.

Case Keenum does well

under pressure,

and he can create plays

with his footwork.

This is going to be about whose

quarterback player is better

and I'm going with Case Keenum.

Well, you're entitled

to your own opinion.

I mean, I'm 100% OK with that.

In my opinion Philadelphia

Eagles have the advantage,

they are at home,

they have the better running game,

they have better receivers.

Nick Foles can play any team...

You said Philly has

better receivers?

Yes. Absolutely.

You're talking about...

Minnesota has the best

combination in the league.

I feel like Smith, Nelson Agholor

and Alshon Jeffery and I feel

like those three are better than

the Minnesota Vikings receivers.

No way!

All Philadelphia has to do is

count the ball, play action pass,

play great defense at home I think

Philly could pull this one off.

Mike Zimmer, the Minnesota

head coach, has been very, very keen

this week to point out,

as soon as that win

over New Orleans happened,

business as usual,

back in training, watching tape,

working on the Eagles.

You're shaking your head already,

you know what I'm going to say here.

It's surely going to take them

a little while to come down off

such a ridiculous high as

beating the Saints

and get themselves

ready to go again, isn't it?

It's going to be almost

impossible for them to

get themselves back ready to play,

simply because of the way

they won this football game.

Put yourself in that

particular situation -

you win a game that, in your head,

you're thinking you could lose,

and it's like a miracle

happened out there.

All of a sudden, you go from an

incredible high to now having to

get back to play another game

on the football field.

I think it's going to be

really difficult for them to do.

And that doesn't help you?

When you got the luck on your side

and you don't care what's happening,

that you can turn the game at any

time, that doesn't help you?

I don't think so.

Two times a world champion?!

Not in this situation.

Come on!

We want that luck, baby.

Just to confirm, your choice?

Minnesota!

Philadelphia.

Serious?!

That is how bad I want them to win!

I have to say,

they didn't agree in that chat.

To the AFC.

Now, last week the Jacksonville

Jaguars travelled to Pittsburgh

to play the Steelers.

The young pretenders

against the old guard,

the sofa was very much divided

on who would win this game.

Jason went Steelers, because

the Jaguars can't score any points.

Can they, Jason?

That is a rhetorical question,

by the way!

And Osi went Jaguars because,

well, as I think you've just seen,

he wanted to put Jason

back in his place.

The Jacksonville Jaguars

at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Jaguars renowned as stoppers.

Leonard Fournette as a finisher.

And again.

And TJ Yeldon, the Jaguars'

giants of offense.

Let's go!

The Steelers,

the comebacks of comebacks.

It's caught, Antonio Brown!

But no, Smith could keep

the Jaguars 20 points ahead.

Then Le'Veon Bell, a glimmer,

extinguished by Fournette's third.

Touchdown Jacksonville!

A knock-about spree of touchdowns -

but too late.

And Jacksonville has defeated

the Pittsburgh Steelers!

It's hugely important for you to

know that we don't rehearse

this show, so I'm slightly

concerned about what might be

coming here, because now you got

this prediction right,

I was expecting you in a leotard

and somersaulting and cartwheels,

probably a huge insurance bill

for me as well!

So what are you about to do?

I was going to do that,

but unfortunately I was in Brixton,

I played some five-a-side soccer,

I got my ankle injured,

I can't do the flips or nothing.

But it's important for us to know,

Mark, over the last couple of years

that on this show there is somebody

who is usually always right,

and you always got to listen

to that guy,

doing what he needed to do,

I mean I really love the way

this team is playing.

Because otherwise somebody

is going to have to carry me out.

But you can no longer

look me my eye.

Secondly, is that the crown that

your wife won Miss Universe with?

Yes, absolutely, absolutely.

This is the exact crown.

You're not allowed to

Osi obviously knows

he is the king of predictions.

However, if you can go higher

than a king, which I don't

know what that would be -

a god, probably - just watch this.

This is Calais Cambell last week

after Jacksonville

had beaten Buffalo, before they went

to play Pittsburgh.

We're trying to just

win it where we can,

you know, one play at a time,

you know, execute,

but I'll tell you, 2-0,

if it comes that way,

or 45-42, if it comes that way,

as long as we win, I'm happy.

What a prediction,

what a prediction!

Now, the other game in

the AFC divisional round

saw the Tennessee Titans

at the New England Patriots.

The Titans had come off

the upset of the previous

round with their comeback

against the Chiefs,

so could lightning strike twice?

Not if the man with

a face like thunder,

Bill Belichick, could help it.

Welcome to Foxboro's

Gillette Stadium

for this 2018 divisional playoff.

The wild-card Titans at

the reigning Super Bowl champions.

All positive!

Looks, fires, touchdown Titans!

Corey Davis, one-handed.

Another upset.

It is a shovel pass,

in motion on the left,

touchdown Patriots!

Brady with the give to James White,

and he dives toward the goal line!

Second touchdown of

the night for James White!

Five touchdowns later,

the answer - a resounding no.

Nothing but another declaration

of Patriot power.

He is a freaking cyborg!

Do you think anybody had any doubts

there might be a shock

when Tennessee scored first?

No, I don't think so.

I think if you know anything

about the New England Patriots, man,

they weather all kinds of storms,

and you saw them do that.

Tennessee scored first, but they

just throttled their candy man,

got after the quarterback,

outstanding performance by

the New England Patriots' defense.

So once again, we'll show you

just exactly how the AFC looks

for the championship game.

Well, we've talked a lot

about Jacksonville's defense,

but now that they have a devastating

offense led by Blake "Balling"

Bortles, Osi is going to take a look

at the Patriots' defense,

which as you may remember,

was not great at the start

of the season, was it, Osi?

Not at all, man, and when you

discuss the New England Patriots,

most of the discussion about this

team will centre around this guy,

and rightfully so, cos he is

an outstanding football player.

But the reason for the recent

resurgence hasn't been

all about Tom Brady -

it has been the outstanding

team defense these guys play, and

I want to take you through

a couple of plays

that these guys were able to make

against the Tennessee Titans.

Check this out.

Now, first of all, run defense.

What you're going to see

is James Harrison on the edge,

and what you have to do

if you're going to play good

run defense is set the edge.

You cannot allow the running back

to get to the outside of you.

He is going to execute

this to perfection.

Check this out right here.

He's going to be right here,

he's going to try to block

by the tight end, and he's

going to push the tight end

all the way into the backfield.

Watch that, boom!

Knocks him back, the running back

has no way to get to the outside,

he now has to cut the ball

into the inside, where James

Harrison's friends are waiting.

Outstanding team defense

by the New England Patriots.

Now, last but not least,

you're going to see

what's called team defense,

gap control defense,

which is something that

the New England Patriots

apply to perfection right here,

check this out.

Now, right here,

they're going to try and

run the ball downhill with Henry.

And I want you to look

right here, look at that.

All the gaps are covered,

he has absolutely nowhere to run.

So what does he have to do now?

He has to bounce the ball

to the outside,

and that is not what you want to do

against the New England Patriots,

because they have speed

at the cornerback position,

they will chase him down

and get the ballcarrier down,

another outstanding

display of team defense

by the New England Patriots.

And quite frankly,

if they're going to be able

to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars,

they're going to have

to stop Leonard Fournette,

they're going to have to do this

over and over again,

otherwise they're not going to be

able to win this game.

And as Osi comes back to join us,

do you see it as another

defensive battle, this game?

Yeah, absolutely, because

just like Osi was saying,

they're going to have to stop

the running game

of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

And that whole line has gotten

better in the playoffs,

so they're going to have to have gap

control defense to be successful.

Do you both think that this,

in many ways, is a harder game

for New England than it would have

been if they'd played Pittsburgh?

No question about that, man,

this is a bad matchup

for the New England Patriots.

I'm not saying the Jacksonville

Jaguars are going to win this game,

but this is going to be

a much tougher game

than most people are going to give

these guys credit for.

Jacksonville is so athletic

on defense, they match up everywhere

with the New England Patriots,

and on offense they can run

the ball, they are going to play

smash-mouth football,

should be a very good game.

I'm going to either put

a statement or a question here

which gives you the chance to talk

about your favourite subject,

which is of course yourself.

So when you look at Jacksonville

against Brady and Jacksonville

against the Patriots' offense,

if they can get to Brady quickly,

and they cover the various

options in the backfield,

that is the way to beat them -

is that how you beat them

in the Super Bowl?

Oh, no question, we had

outstanding defensive linemen,

and we rushed the passer

relentlessly.

That is the only way you can beat

the New England Patriots.

You're not going to get

into a coaching battle

with Bill Belichick,

because you're going to lose

that battle every time.

Physically, you have to defeat

the guy in front, and I'm not sure

the Jacksonville Jaguars

are going to be able to do that

against New England.

Blake Bortles?

Blake Bortles, man, I tell you what,

he's finding his own way.

The man has had everybody,

everywhere doubting him,

saying this is the guy

that is holding you back,

and all he's done is went out

there and won the game.

And that is ultimately

what you have to do.

My level of respect for the man

that Blake Bortles is

has gone from I don't even know

where he was to all the way up.

I'm not going to say this guy

is the best quarterback,

he's this and he's that,

but what he's done is,

week and week out, every single

week, myself included,

talked down about him,

said bad things about him.

He's put all that behind him

and has continued to go out

there and win games for his team.

You have to give this man credit.

All right, predictions,

you go first!

Going with New England.

Jacksonville.

You're a brave man.

Jacksonville Jaguars.

Is that just so you can wear

that again next week?

No!

No, listen, New England

obviously should win this game,

but there's something about the way

the Jacksonville Jaguars,

this entire season, man, this isn't

going to be an easy matchup,

so I'm going to go

with Jacksonville here.

OK, before we go,

just got time to show you

some of the plays of the week,

and there are plenty

for us to take a look at.

Look at this from Corey Davis

of the Titans,

an amazing one-handed

grab against the Patriots.

I tell you what, Malcolm Mitchell

better be ready next week,

cos they are going to go at him.

It wasn't Drew Brees's day

in the air, but this was a great

catch from Alvin Kamara,

falling away to take

that one from Breeze.

The Jags force a fumble

and then look at the pace

of Telvin Smith.

Man, his speed just went up

on all the video games!

R2 on the controller

is the way to move like that!

Leonard Fournette went airborne

for a Jags touchdown.

He had a good game, didn't he?

Yes, he did.

He had a very good game.

This is an amazing play

from Nick Foles, if he meant it.

Torrey Smith catching

that pass after it bounced

off Keanu Neal's knee!

Keanu Neil better get with the jump

machine this offseason,

cos I tell you what,

he's thinking about that one.

Another Leonard Fournette play

coming up as he bulldozes

into the Steelers' defense,

and his own line give him

a hand on the way.

We call that weight room.

Look at the bodies involved in that!

My man Thielen,

he got a pass interference

and a holding on the same play

and caught the ball.

I've never seen that happen.
