Episode 3 The NFL Show

Football is coming home. But not as we know it. This week the NFL show

comes from the home from home of American football, Wembley Stadium.

It will be time for these teams to settle it. Montana throw. Looking

downfield. The wrecking Crew! How did he do that! Welcome to the ever

NFL show from Wembley, the stage set for some American football in

London. This is what we have in the show tonight. Although it to know

about the game between Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars

tomorrow. We meet three men who make the saves it Chelsea. The highlights

of the clash between Dolphins and Bangalore was on Thursday night and

the best and worst of what happened in week three. As ever I'm joined by

two former players, Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell. Wembley still being

prepared with painting going on on the pitch. It is exciting. You can

feel it. I feel I have a couple of plays in the! I think I can do it.

It feels properly part of the UK sporting calendar now. It is

exciting, to be here. Truly amazing. Looking at some of the banners,

London gained 15. Do you sense now that teams in the US want to be part

of this, maybe at the start there was some scepticism but now it is

part of their calendar as well. Everyone knows about it and people

are excited to come here. Many of these athletes have never left

America. So to play on a different continent is outstanding. 15 games

already. Is a cultural thing important, given that some people

have never left America first you see guys posting on a histogram how

excited they are to come here. And guys coming into the leak, this is

part of football now. We will focus on the Indianapolis Colts first.

What happened to them in week three. They went into the game against San

Diego Chargers having not been winners this season. This is what

happened. All that matters is a win, that is it. Whatever it takes. The

first score of the game. Going to a wide open receiver. That

is too wide open. Casey Hayward. Two interceptions last week. Takes it

down to the 12. He has got his tight end on the move. Hunter Henley.

Drop-down. Picked up by Reid. Running with it all the way. No

yellow on the field. Crashing in for the touchdown. The

Chargers have taken their first league today. Going deep. An open

receiver. Chester Rogers, his first NFL reception.

Rivers looks at the landscape. He has got the ball! Eric Walton, and

this for the lead. There he goes, in our race and there

he goes with the touchdown. There is Henry. Blocks away. Colts

have got the ball. Eric Walton, game is over. The Colts

have an important win under their belt heading to Wembley. Osi

Umenyiora took a closer look at their star man. The main guy to keep

your eye in is Andrew Luck. One of the great young players of football

and the highest-paid player in the league. He will show you why. Check

out right now, Andrew Luck. You will see incredible play action from him.

Check him out. Evading pressure and throwing an incredible pass down the

field. He will show you all of the plays, all of the throws. That is

50, 60 yards down the field. And here you see him again stepping up.

That is just ridiculous. Who throws the ball like that? Andrew Luck,

that is who. You will see him kick the ball, step up and throw it. We

call those frozen ropes. Hilton again, great play by him.

We are deep inside the stadium, outside the officials room at the

minute. Not just no visitors but positively no visitors. To the right

you have locker rooms and the tunnel. The Colts will be in their

later on. The Jaguars on this site. And miraculously Osi Umenyiora has

appeared from the studio. Some rehearsals going on outside as well.

Is this a bigger game for the Jaguars given they have lost all

three? It is huge for them, they have to win or it will be a long

season for them. It is a huge game. A lot of people have come to London

and lost their jobs right now after. It could be that much on the line

for the Jaguars. It has playoff implications for Jaguars. People

thought they would be the team to make the jump this year but they

have not done so. If they do not win heads will be running. Looking at

teams like the Patriots, the Broncos, the Eagles on the Vikings,

who are you surprised to find with three wins and no defeats out of

that lot? The Vikings, because of their injuries. I knew that they

were good. But they're holding it together and the way they're

brilliant. You could argue all the teams with 100% record so far may be

slightly surprising. Definitely for me it is Philadelphia Eagles, no one

saw that coming. No one thought they would be playing this well at this

juncture. And one other thing from week three, Josh Norman, Aldo Beck

and junior clash. Josh Norman got the better of him. Because of his

antics on the sideline. Players always want to win. They want to

play better more than they want to win. No one is going to tell you

this! But I will tell you, players want to play better more than they

want to win. Would you trade for interception game for a win, do not

lie. I would take for interception game! This is the truth. It is such

a business oriented league players always want to play better. The wind

is important, you understand. If you can play well and get the win, that

is the ultimate. But you always want to play well. Let's focus a bit on

English football now, these two like to go out and people -- meet people

who play in the Premier League. They went to meet three players this

week. We are here at the Chelsea training ground. I'm not alone this

week, Jason Vales with me and we are going to meet three fans of the NFL.

Let's see what these goalkeepers are made of. I got it, man.

I am a big fan of Ivanovic. And you learn something from Jan Vertonghen

the other day. A little spin move. Do not ever do that again. I am not

a quarterback. My back hurts. That is the last throw I do! That is

good, a lot further than me. Very nice. We have got good

footwork! To not let the Portuguese down. The league is always looking

for good quarterbacks. We play each other next Friday. That is the way

it goes. Team-mates one day. Playing against each other the next.

winner, Thibault Courtois, 139. It was a good game. Thanks for having

again. We are inside the Colts dressing room. Actually the England

dressing room for home internationals at Wembley. They hope

to take all the doors of two open up the area to get the whole team in

there. This is maybe small compared to the home team in the NFL? So the

coals are probably better being here as the away team then maybe at home.

They would only have a cramped space back in Jacksonville. They do not

want you to feel comfortable. Is this common in dressing rooms as

well, how to tackle. All the information on the hands as well.

We never wore those. But would players pay attention to this before

they go out? It's mostly stuff players would know. For the most

part, we all know this stuff. There is a picture right here of exactly

what you would look like! Hallam says he, breathing in! Some more

action now, and this is the Thursday night game, Miami and Cincinnati.

Both sides with one win and two defeats owing into this game tricky

the youngest head coach in the league, Gase come what is his game

plan here tonight? I think it is to get this Cincinnati Bengals team

off-balance early. Let's see if he can do it. And the Bengals are on

the game's first possession. Got back, as Tennehill goes long! Who is

going to take it? Touchdown! Who he comes down the field, and watch this

move. Looks across, and this was not designed.

That was just a good read from Hewitt, number 89. This is what

happens when you have guys in this league, just throw it up, give them

a chance. In for the touchline! AJ Green, they throw so many short

passes to him, and this is why. 2nd and eight. AJ Green again! Good

again. As we approach the two-minute mark. Tannehill, on the ground,

recovered! Nugent's kit is good. Three points. 1st ten. Down the

field they go. AJ Green, and the catch is made! And the chip shot is

good. Again, here they come! And this time, for the first time, they

get to dolphin. Here is our 2nd and five! This is coverage. Great throw!

Third down! Tannehill's pass... On the mark! Look at him weaving! He

gets past couple of players, all way out to the 35! Intercepted! That's

Chris Lewis Harris! Some of the players were not ideal, as far as

what we were doing, Ryan has got to step up on the fumble. It's just

everybody, just taking their turn. So, we just... I don't think it

really mattered who was out there, we just could not get our own way.

We did not do anything really well. It was one of the worst performances

I've seen from our offence in a long time. We've got to score touchdowns

when we get down there, we can't keep kicking field goals. We'll look

at the tape and try and find a way to score touchdowns. It's obviously

a big issue because we have not been very good in the red zone. We have

moved back outside to discuss that Miami-Cincinnati game. Cincinnati,

when they got within touching distance of the end zone, they could

not get in? And that has got to be an issue. Good teams have got to

capitalise in the red zone. The big positive for them will be AJ Green,

who at the end of the third quarter had more yards down the whole of the

Miami offence put together. How do you even allow that to happen?

Everybody knows that AJ Green one of the top receivers in football, can

that. Unbelievable performance by him. But Miami, come on, man. They

should have done a better job of stopping him? Of course, you know

going in that this is the danger man. He's going to continue to beat

you over and over and over again. Ridiculous. Miami will be worried

about their offence. Yes, Tennehill is not playing well. They did not

protecting well. You've got to get the ball out quicker when you're

getting hit on yourself. Let's see what that result does for the

standings. In the AFC, it moves Cincinnati to two and two.

At the moment in the NFC west, it's the Rams on top. Let's turn our

attention back to this game. We got Osi's view on the Colts earlier.

Jason has been looking at the Jaguars, and he has found one

positive. The Jacksonville Jaguars have not been that good on the

field, but this guy, Allen Robinson, has, with two touchdowns against the

Ravens. We will show you why. Right now he's showing you he can make all

the cuts. Touchdown! Now he's going to give the fans what they want - a

free football. The get this, so hard for the defender. This kid is one of

the quickest guys in the league. Bring it down with his feet in

bounce - that's not easy to do, ladies and gentlemen. And this kid

does it. Let's see what he can do for the Jaguars on Sunday. So, as

far as the game itself is concerned, and by the way, as we're walking,

mindless yellow line because it has been freshly painted. We do not want

paint on your shoes. Who is going to win? I think Jaguars right now are a

really desperate team and I think they can pull this off. Desperation

can go one of two ways? It can, but I think they will find a way to pull

it off. Because of their desperation, or because of Robinson?

This is dangerous! They are a better football side than what they have

showed this season? Yes, they have weapons, they have talent, they've

just got to put it together tricky do you think they are better than

the Colts Emily no, not better than the Colts. Any time you have someone

like Andrew Luck, it's going to be really difficult to go up against

that type of guy. Who do I think is going to win? My heart says Jackson,

because I like coach Wiley. They have got a good young team, but I

think the Indianapolis Colts will pull this one off. Do you think they

will get the best out of him? Yes, I think so. He's just a great

quarterback. You're not going to be able to keep a guy like that down

for too long. Let's take a quick look at the other fixtures in week

four. And what intrigues me in this week, the bills going to the

Patriots. The Patriots' last game without Brady. And on Tuesday night,

Osi said that Buffalo will go back to being Buffalo. So is this a win

for the Patriots? I think so. They find a way to do it every week. They

always have great game plan for their opponent. The Ravens, is this

their first big test, against the Raiders? I think so. This will be a

really big test for them. The Raiders are a good young football

team, playing well, and they will have their work cut out. The Broncos

going to the Buccaneers, how much of a test will but the other Denver

defence? Not that much! Everybody seems to beat everybody else in the

NFC west, so the Rams going to the Cardinals? The Cardinals are coming

off a game they should not have lost. On Monday night game is the

Giants against the Vikings. We have not got time to talk about that.

That's taken look at the highs and lows from week three. And the play

of the week definitely came from the Washington Redskins with this punt,

was it? Yes, it did and that is a serious call from their coach.

That's gutsy. And they carried it off to perfection. One of the

coaches of the week. The Saints, making a mess of this kick return.

They collided into each other, and after that they fumbled it and

immediately gave the ball back to Atlanta. That was a mess all round.

Elliot doing this for the Cowboys. And we have warned you about this

before. This can bring tears to your eyes! You reach a certain age, I am

led to believe, where technology gets more and more confusing. Is

trying to get the numbers bigger! We had the thunderstorm, and of course

we had the battle between Beckham junior and... What do you never do

with a kicking net? Fight it! Because? It hits back! And there is

one more high or no, depending on your post just and that is Lady Gaga

has been confirmed as the half-time Super Bowl act. Great to have Lady

Gaga performing. Unfortunately, it might mean more of this...

# Caught in a bad Romance... So that's why it might be a problem for

us! I'm talking to him! Let's bring it back to this game. Obviously,

this place will be rocking tomorrow, it will be bringing! When the

Patriots were here are two years ago, I spoke to Tom Brady and he

said, one thing he liked was to be on proper grass, because it happens

less and less now? Yes, to be honest, I loved artificial turf, it

is like rubber underneath, so it propels you forward a little bit.

Whereas the grass slows you down. He said it bought back childhood

memories of playing on the grass. Yes, I love the grass, the smell of

it, I love it. Looking forward to tomorrow? Yes. We have got more

games coming up as well, we have got the red screens, the Bengals, the

Giants on the Rams as well. It's only just starting. Ready, let's get

Wembley stadium in London, Game One, in the UK international series, part

of the regular NFL season. The Jaguars are back for the fourth time

in their relatively short history. They take on the Indianapolis Colts.

For the Colts, this transatlantic away game is a first. Welcome to
