Highlights from day four of the UK Towards the end of last season,

very aggressive. A lot of the top players are aggressive. And I think

:00:51.:00:55.

he was just a little more aggressive than the others. He's

:00:55.:01:00.

got such massive cue power, that he's able to screw balls in from

:01:00.:01:10.
:01:10.:01:15.

baulk and kind of really work that In the world, everything seemed to

:01:15.:01:21.

be going in. I'm not as confident as I was, but I still need to keep

:01:21.:01:31.
:01:31.:01:34.

going and eventually it will all When I start missing a few, he's

:01:34.:01:38.

just gonna punish me. So I need to learn off the first or second one.

:01:38.:01:48.
:01:48.:01:51.

If I miss, I really need to play A lot of confidence, beaten a lot

:01:51.:01:57.

of people, and enjoy playing as well. So, you know, he's got a

:01:57.:02:07.
:02:07.:02:11.

massive future ahead of him. Every game against Ronny is always

:02:11.:02:16.

something to look forward to. I have to take my chances early on,

:02:17.:02:20.

otherwise it's gonna be hard to come back.

:02:20.:02:26.

Hello again. When it comes to crowd-pleasing these days, it seems

:02:26.:02:36.
:02:36.:02:36.

that Ronnie O'Sullivan's hair is just Judd Trump. He gets lots of

:02:36.:02:42.

fans, special earlier in the year. So when the two of them, the Rocket

:02:42.:02:47.

and the Juggernaut, are joined together, as they were today, it is

:02:47.:02:51.

a formula for great snooker and big crowds, also which were in evidence

:02:51.:03:01.
:03:01.:03:32.

Trump can do about that. Now the cannon in the pink. That was

:03:32.:03:39.

amazing. He hit that, to me, absolutely perfect. It must be

:03:39.:03:44.

stuck there with superglue. This is a Judd Trump special. Oh, great

:03:44.:03:54.
:03:54.:03:56.

shot. What a shot. So it's building up nicely. All square, 2-2.

:03:56.:04:06.
:04:06.:04:38.

It doesn't matter. He got his all square at 4-4. All to play for.

:04:38.:04:47.

Well this, red clinches it. Not without a little scare there.

:04:47.:04:51.

Ronnie O'Sullivan leads five frames to four. He's gone for the pot, and

:04:51.:04:57.

he's not kidding. And he's on the black. Unbelievable! What a shot

:04:57.:05:03.

that was! There's a lot of tension in the air,

:05:03.:05:12.

and it's not surprising. Ronnie O'Sullivan.

:05:12.:05:15.

We're into a decider. Ronnie O'Sullivan must be thinking about

:05:15.:05:24.

what might have been. He had a couple of good chances to clinch

:05:24.:05:31.

the match. He didn't. It's 5-5. Trump went on to win, so we have

:05:31.:05:37.

ourselves another decider. Judd in front first, but he's let Ronnie

:05:37.:05:47.
:05:47.:05:49.

O'Sullivan in with a possible long Could have potted it, I don't think

:05:49.:05:54.

it would have gone anywhere near that red to the left, but, boy,

:05:54.:06:04.
:06:04.:06:10.

make the game look so simple sometimes, don't they? And yet you

:06:10.:06:15.

get these moments of pressure, tension, and he's potted that red.

:06:15.:06:21.

And he's not on the pink and I don't think he's on the black.

:06:21.:06:30.

don't think he is. It's very close. Or is he? He was on the black. He

:06:30.:06:34.

was on the black. I was looking at his body language, I didn't think

:06:34.:06:44.
:06:44.:06:52.

he was. So it wasn't as bad as I He had one in Belgium when they

:06:52.:06:59.

played in the PTC. He beat Ronnie 4-3, one of the best matches I have

:06:59.:07:05.

seen for quite some time. We've had great match-ups. If you remember

:07:05.:07:11.

the days of Reardon, Spencer, Steven Henry, Jimmy White - this

:07:11.:07:16.

could be the new headline - Ronnie O'Sullivan to Trump. If this is

:07:16.:07:26.
:07:26.:07:38.

reds out in the open. APPLAUSE

:07:38.:07:48.
:07:48.:07:48.

Apology for the loss of subtitles for 67 seconds

:07:48.:08:56.

Just take the loose reds. Already the right-hand side of the table,

:08:56.:09:00.

which are available, he's got those three reds in the middle tied up,

:09:00.:09:10.
:09:10.:09:25.

with just 67 remaining. Just coming around to have a look at that. Two

:09:25.:09:32.

reds, on the right-hand side cushion. Definitely one of those

:09:32.:09:42.
:09:42.:09:55.

think it went. It certainly wasn't his intention, I don't think. But

:09:55.:10:05.
:10:05.:10:15.

can he see enough of it? Ronnie APPLAUSE

:10:15.:10:25.
:10:25.:10:26.

It's still open to debate as to who wins this match. OK. Long, long

:10:26.:10:30.

odds to Trump, but... APPLAUSE

:10:30.:10:40.
:10:40.:10:43.

He's let Ronnie off the hook a bit the side kuation, but to bring it -

:10:44.:10:48.

- cushion, but to bring it into play. Oh, he nearly nudged another

:10:48.:10:53.

one. Of course, remember, with Ronnie being 67 points behind, 67

:10:53.:11:00.

remaining, he's got to get blacks off these reds.

:11:00.:11:05.

Great pot. And he's gonna be on the black. This is sensational!

:11:05.:11:15.
:11:15.:11:30.

remarkable clearances I have ever was an excellent shot as well.

:11:30.:11:34.

Perfect angle on the red. Nice angle on the black. Just one good

:11:34.:11:44.
:11:44.:11:47.

cannon here. And couldn't have done it any

:11:47.:11:57.
:11:57.:12:32.

a heavy contact. This game ...it's so frustrating. The kick cost him!

:12:32.:12:39.

That was unlucky. What a horrible way to end a match. Just played a

:12:39.:12:44.

little with the heavy contact. So unlucky, Ronnie O'Sullivan. But

:12:44.:12:49.

let's not take anything away from Judd Trump. He took everything from

:12:49.:12:55.

the Rocket today, and played some great snooker and has come out a 6-

:12:55.:12:59.

5 winner. A tremendous match. There will be plenty of matches with

:12:59.:13:04.

these two and we can all look forward to that. Well played, Judd

:13:04.:13:09.

Trump. Unlucky, Ronnie O'Sullivan. Credit to Judd. He played a great

:13:09.:13:13.

match and he deserved his victory. Good luck to him for the rest of

:13:13.:13:18.

the tournament. I knew I was still in the match at 2-2. It could have

:13:18.:13:25.

been 3-1 or 4-0. He had a lot of chances but didn't take them. That

:13:25.:13:32.

gave me a boost. We played decent up until after 5-4 and then a bit

:13:32.:13:36.

twitchy. Ronnie could have won from then on. When he lost those chances,

:13:36.:13:42.

I thought, "I can beat him here." He's a great player, probably the

:13:42.:13:45.

most dangerous player I have ever played. You know, he's gonna take a

:13:45.:13:50.

lot of stopping. Yeah, I didn't play good today. A lot of my game

:13:50.:13:54.

wasn't great. But when I play like that and I still can beat Ronnie,

:13:54.:13:58.

it's a nice confidence boost. And, like, I'm still in the tournament

:13:58.:14:02.

so hopefully I can improve. Well, what a match. From the moment I got

:14:02.:14:09.

here at the centre, there was that tremendous atmosphere. The boys

:14:09.:14:12.

didn't disappointment. No. As soon as they came up the stairs, the

:14:12.:14:16.

crowd were behind them. A fantastic atmosphere. Got us behind them in

:14:16.:14:20.

the commentary box. We were looking forward to it as much as the crowd

:14:20.:14:24.

were. Started off a little slow, but once both players got going, it

:14:24.:14:29.

was really exciting. Just the way both players play the game, quick-

:14:29.:14:34.

fire snooker, as people like to see. But I think the tactical side may

:14:34.:14:39.

have played a big part. Ronnie couldn't get the safety play enough.

:14:39.:14:44.

No. Even the break-off was so important. Ronnie left the cue ball

:14:44.:14:51.

short a couple of times. Judd got in with some tremendous pots. Some

:14:51.:14:58.

of the pots today were exceptional. We sit there and sometimes we

:14:58.:15:03.

criticise his shot choice, but I'm not gonna do it anymore, because

:15:03.:15:08.

you do what you like, Judd. Great to see. On the other hand, Ronnie

:15:08.:15:15.

will be disappointed. 5-4 in front, had a chance on the brown, I

:15:15.:15:20.

thought he was gonna clinch the match. Yeah, he had a good chance.

:15:20.:15:25.

That last frame, well, Ronnie very unlucky to get the kick in the last.

:15:25.:15:31.

Tied the frame at 67 apiece and make it a re spoil, but

:15:31.:15:35.

unfortunately the kick cost him. A fantastic match, and we're gonna

:15:35.:15:40.

see a lot of the these guys over the next few years. You need great

:15:40.:15:48.

match-ups in any sport. We've had it over the years with Reardon,

:15:48.:15:52.

Spencer, Higgins and White. I am sure they are gonna serve us up

:15:52.:15:59.

plenty of those in the coming years. We had another match also this

:15:59.:16:05.

morning. Matthew Stevens forced a decider with Ding Junhui. Former UK

:16:05.:16:08.

champion, it was Stevens first before Ding's vital contribution of

:16:08.:16:14.

62 was enough to see him over the line. Hugely impressive effort from

:16:14.:16:19.

the Welshman, but the Chinese player is still on track for a

:16:19.:16:24.

third UK title. Well, apart from those two matches,

:16:24.:16:28.

the other news on everyone's lips concerned the comments yesterday

:16:28.:16:32.

from Mark Allen about the running of the game. Northern Ireland's

:16:32.:16:39.

world number 14 was criticised and indeed he was chasti zed for

:16:39.:16:44.

comments as a press conference, and more specifically, his language at

:16:44.:16:50.

that press conference. He strongly criticised the chairman, Barry Hern.

:16:50.:16:56.

Today, Mark Allen was unrepentant. Never shy away from speaking my

:16:56.:17:00.

mind. I think more need to do more of it. Too many have said exactly

:17:00.:17:04.

what I said in my press conference yesterday, amongst themselves. But

:17:04.:17:07.

they are not man enough to say it to the public and journalists and

:17:07.:17:11.

have it documented. Obviously I have been criticised for swearing

:17:11.:17:19.

on TV, or on the press conference. But I think obviously it's not

:17:19.:17:23.

gonna set a good example, but I stand by everything I said. From

:17:23.:17:27.

what I've been told, it came across as very, very negative towards

:17:27.:17:30.

Barry, which does seem that way. But I don't know Barry. He's

:17:30.:17:35.

probably a nice man. He's done very well for whatever tournaments he's

:17:35.:17:40.

been at in the past. I'm sure he will do well in the future. I think

:17:40.:17:45.

in the short term he's not making changes that will benefit the sport

:17:45.:17:49.

and players. I don't understand the changes he's making. He's ruffling

:17:49.:17:52.

a lot of feathers along the way. It's a pity I'm the only one

:17:52.:17:58.

standing up to him. We've heard the comments about he's very critical

:17:58.:18:03.

of Barry. I'm sure Barry will look at this issue himself, with Mark.

:18:03.:18:07.

It was the use of inappropriate language we're concerned B the

:18:07.:18:12.

matter's been referred to our disciplinary panel. It will make a

:18:12.:18:17.

view and start to look at it now. Interesting to see what further

:18:17.:18:20.

developments there are throughout the week on this particular story.

:18:20.:18:27.

Now we're gonna concentrate on this evening's other match - John

:18:27.:18:33.

Higgins up against fellow Scot, practice partner and great friend,

:18:33.:18:37.

Stephen Maguire. It was Maguire who won the first frame. He's at the

:18:38.:18:46.

table again. Willy Thorn and Dennis Taylor in

:18:46.:18:56.
:18:56.:19:06.

the box this time. go into the pocket if he's going to

:19:06.:19:13.

pop this red. If he gets on that, it would really

:19:13.:19:23.
:19:23.:19:34.

open the rest up. Yeah, he's got an angle on the

:19:35.:19:39.

black. If he could leave the white somewhere near the angle or just to

:19:39.:19:44.

the left of it, the one at the back will go, or open up quite a few

:19:44.:19:50.

reds up. Let's see if he does that now or

:19:50.:19:55.

waits for a while. Nearly got the circle. Forcing through these reds

:19:55.:20:00.

here now, because he has left that perfect angle that Dennis was

:20:00.:20:05.

talking about. Two different ways you play this - topspin or

:20:05.:20:09.

screwback or come off the opposition, or get a good kiss off

:20:09.:20:14.

the reds. Oft cushion. And lucky for him, the -- off the cushion.

:20:14.:20:20.

And lucky for him, the pink's strung out. A little bit fortunate

:20:20.:20:30.
:20:30.:20:38.

seconds." I think he thought the blue was on the spot and he was

:20:38.:20:42.

gonna have to put the pink behind, on spot. But suddenly that blue

:20:42.:20:48.

spot just appeared by magic. Of course, they have got a tough

:20:48.:20:54.

job, referees. They have gotta concentrate 100% on what's going on

:20:54.:21:03.

with all the rules these days, with misses and what have you.

:21:03.:21:13.
:21:13.:21:41.

probably thought, "Give me a couple Stephen Maguire's won three of

:21:41.:21:50.

those. In fact, the last time he beat John Higgins was in the 2008

:21:50.:22:00.
:22:00.:22:22.

where the matches will be decided over two sessions.

:22:22.:22:28.

He's in no-man's land, really. One of those shots where I think

:22:28.:22:32.

that's how he just played for the register of the black and slightly

:22:32.:22:37.

overscrewed it. If he had have gone harder, he would have had the one

:22:37.:22:40.

on the pink spot in the opposite corner. He will take this on,

:22:40.:22:44.

because he can get around the back of the reds.

:22:44.:22:52.

Yeah, where he wanted to be. See that little white? That wourve

:22:52.:22:57.

absolutely spot on. -- that would have been absolutely

:22:57.:23:01.

spot on. This one looks a little bit dangerous. The other one with

:23:01.:23:11.
:23:11.:23:27.

the rest, he can play the shot for Very good. Very good. Well, he's

:23:27.:23:33.

put himself in with a great chance to open up a 2-frame advantage

:23:33.:23:39.

against the defending champion here. He's got a natural angle, if he

:23:39.:23:44.

wants it. He doesn't need that many more, but he's got a natural angle

:23:44.:23:49.

to cannon that little triangle of reds there. That would leave him

:23:49.:23:54.

absolutely perfect. That was the shot. And now all the reds are in

:23:54.:24:00.

the open. He only needs... Well, a few more, maybe three more reds to

:24:00.:24:10.
:24:10.:24:16.

make absolutely certain with There's another player that's made

:24:16.:24:25.

over 200 competitive centuries. The Scots are brilliant. Maguire over

:24:25.:24:35.
:24:35.:24:39.

watching here, I suppose you could say served their apprenticeship

:24:39.:24:45.

when they turned professional, practising with John Henry, and

:24:45.:24:50.

then Stephen Maguire, if you're gonna learn quickly how to play the

:24:50.:24:56.

game of snooker, couldn't pick a better person than Stephen Hendry

:24:56.:25:06.
:25:06.:25:20.

to learn off. held by Matthew Stevens - a break

:25:20.:25:30.
:25:30.:25:48.

of 140. Five times at the higher when you're enjoying yourself?

:25:48.:25:56.

Coming to the end of four days' play, not three. A magnificent town,

:25:56.:26:02.

is is good to be back at this centre. Wonderful venue,

:26:02.:26:06.

wonderful crowds. Stephen Maguire, if he does go to make a century,

:26:06.:26:09.

the only player to have compiled three centuries so far in the

:26:09.:26:13.

tournament. He's on two at the moment. One good shot here and he

:26:13.:26:19.

will get another one. Yeah, clever shot, that.

:26:19.:26:22.

APPLAUSE He's gonna have to play this

:26:22.:26:32.
:26:32.:26:40.

difficult bit at some time. He Very well done. John Higgins

:26:40.:26:45.

completely messed his last shot. He was playing for the blue and

:26:45.:26:51.

completely mishit it. Very well done, Stephen Maguire. His 205th

:26:51.:26:54.

competitive century. APPLAUSE

:26:54.:26:59.

Now he's got a chance of the highest break, and 5,000, if he

:26:59.:27:09.
:27:09.:27:14.

can clear with probably pinks or blacks.

:27:14.:27:18.

He's had a couple of maximum breaks in his career. One in the Schapelle

:27:18.:27:28.

Corby Open way back in 2000 and one -- one in the Scottish Open way

:27:28.:27:33.

back in 2000 and one in the China Open in 2008.

:27:33.:27:43.
:27:43.:27:58.

Well, you haven't seen any bounces off the cushions. I did have a chat

:27:58.:28:03.

last night and they said it was bouncing a little bit off the

:28:03.:28:07.

cushion in his match against Mark Williams. That was bouncing off the

:28:07.:28:10.

black cushion, which we didn't see last night. This is a possible 144.

:28:10.:28:19.

That will take a bit of beating. APPLAUSE

:28:19.:28:24.

Been on every ball he played, apart from when he got on the pink in the

:28:24.:28:28.

middle, when he possibly played to get on to the black - that was very

:28:28.:28:38.
:28:38.:28:51.

The proverbial on a string. Absolutely magnificent!

:28:51.:28:55.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE The highest in the tournament. He

:28:55.:29:00.

goes top of the list. That magnificent score of 144.

:29:00.:29:06.

APPLAUSE Yes, that puts Stephen in pole

:29:06.:29:14.

position for the 5-grand prize this week. Maguire surged into a a-is 1

:29:14.:29:21.

lead -- 5-1 lead. Higgins made it 5-2. However, in frame eight,

:29:21.:29:26.

Maguire looks like he's about to close out the match.

:29:26.:29:33.

40 in front. This will be 46. So two more reds and covers. Should be

:29:33.:29:43.
:29:43.:29:45.

en en not his best shot. Made this red in the middle a

:29:45.:29:55.
:29:55.:29:57.

little more tricky than he would Hello, John Higgins. He's leading

:29:57.:30:03.

6-3 in their head-to-heads. They have played twice in this UK

:30:03.:30:07.

Championship. It's one each. It looks as if Stephen Maguire is

:30:07.:30:17.
:30:17.:30:20.

gonna be 2-1 up with regards to you get to that? To that ball

:30:21.:30:24.

that's gonna take you through to the next round.

:30:24.:30:28.

Never looked comfortable in that little break, did he? I think

:30:28.:30:38.
:30:38.:30:53.

suddenly he just thought about the to come off the top -- little shot

:30:53.:30:58.

here to come off the top cushion. Just watch where he puts this cue

:30:58.:31:08.
:31:08.:31:08.

APPLAUSE I think... Not much of an angle, is

:31:08.:31:18.
:31:18.:31:24.

Better contact on that red, he would have put it on for the middle.

:31:24.:31:29.

Absolutely. That's what he tried. He will certainly be swinging it

:31:29.:31:35.

around two cushions to try and get in behind these two reds. Second

:31:35.:31:39.

prize in the corner. That's tight on the cushion.

:31:39.:31:44.

Now, has he covered them up? Has he covered them up? Yes, he has. He's

:31:44.:31:54.
:31:54.:31:59.

lifeline, because Stephen Maguire looked for all money like he was

:31:59.:32:04.

gonna clear up earlier on. Oh, what a shot this would be, past the

:32:04.:32:09.

yellow and into the corner. You can see what he's faced with. Oh. Look

:32:09.:32:12.

strength, this player, Willy, because we've seen him do it so

:32:35.:32:42.

many times. This is the only difficult shot.

:32:42.:32:48.

If he gets this last red now, he goes favourite to win these two on

:32:48.:32:58.
:32:58.:33:04.

was such an easy chance to win a frame in a match.

:33:04.:33:14.
:33:14.:33:23.

- either just a little bit left on side and go one cushion. Most

:33:24.:33:33.
:33:34.:33:34.

players decide to play two. Let's see what John fansies. Played off

:33:34.:33:39.

two cushions. Might have gone too hard. He's played it absolutely

:33:39.:33:45.

perfectly. He is quite remarkable, this man. He's right under the

:33:45.:33:49.

pressure, amazing what he produces. He has been sit inning his seat,

:33:49.:33:59.
:33:59.:34:07.

felt it's all over - "I'm on my way a little bit of confidence, that

:34:07.:34:10.

Stephen Maguire just saw the winning there. They all know,

:34:10.:34:15.

whatever the score is, that Stephen Maguire's got a little bit of

:34:15.:34:25.
:34:25.:34:27.

twitching going on there. frames, John Higgins is looking the

:34:27.:34:37.
:34:37.:34:50.

best he has in the tournament so Maguire who's gonna go into the

:34:50.:34:53.

quarterfinal against Judd Trump. John Higgins is back in the match,

:34:53.:34:57.

but he still trails by three. Yes, Higgins is well on the march

:34:57.:35:01.

now. His opponent is beginning to wobble just a little bit. Can the

:35:01.:35:05.

world champion continue his charge? Let's find out? He's six points

:35:05.:35:15.
:35:15.:35:54.

could play into the pack here from this red. Very rarely do you play

:35:54.:35:57.

in the pack with the red, but with the blue in the pocket, depends on

:35:57.:36:02.

how he feels at the moment. He seems to have got himself right

:36:02.:36:07.

back into this match. Just the one red out, and that's turned out very

:36:07.:36:12.

nicely. Just flicked that one red into play. There was nothing to pot

:36:12.:36:22.
:36:22.:36:26.

I don't think he could have won this frame. Stephen Maguire's had

:36:26.:36:36.
:36:36.:37:01.

couple of shots -- in a couple of shots' time, could have a good

:37:01.:37:05.

chance again. That will have to go as near to its own spot, in the

:37:05.:37:09.

direct line behind it, in line with the black and the blue. He will

:37:09.:37:14.

just line that up and just roll the pink towards the red. Must not be

:37:14.:37:24.
:37:24.:37:44.

just making sure he place the correct shot here, if he goes into

:37:44.:37:54.
:37:54.:38:18.

but he's fine. I think there's two or three reds available into this

:38:18.:38:28.
:38:28.:38:54.

the pink without any problem. many players in the game who could

:38:54.:38:57.

produce this sort of snooker against someone like Stephen

:38:57.:39:04.

Maguire, one of the top players in the game. 5-1, he led. He was one

:39:04.:39:14.
:39:14.:39:18.

shot away from a place in the himself a little strait on this

:39:18.:39:28.
:39:28.:39:39.

black. May have to just screw back, OK. He has that red I mentioned.

:39:39.:39:43.

Some performance, this, isn't it? Unbelievable. Yeah, he's been given

:39:43.:39:48.

a chance here, hasn't he? He's great to do it. But Stephen Maguire,

:39:48.:39:52.

the last frame and a half, he's really struggled. And John Higgins

:39:52.:39:56.

is the type of player, if you show one little bit of weakness, that

:39:56.:40:01.

will give him the lifeline he needs. He looks like he's taking it with

:40:01.:40:06.

both hands at the moment. This little red will leave all reds on.

:40:06.:40:10.

APPLAUSE Three on the trot. And close the

:40:10.:40:17.

gap of just one frame. Just having a quick glance at the

:40:17.:40:27.
:40:27.:40:48.

REFEREE: 54. A bit of noise from the other table,

couple of times, 9-5 down against Mark Williams in the final last

:41:04.:41:09.

year. He won five frames in a row. That was a remarkable victory.

:41:09.:41:14.

Every chance he could win five frames in a row here to keep

himself in this year's UK What a performance by John Higgins!

:42:48.:42:56.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE He's had three breaks now. 101-4.

:42:57.:43:02.

And that's 5. He still needs to get through to the quarterfinals.

:43:02.:43:06.

The world champion is beaming fast. He might have missed a key black

:43:06.:43:16.
:43:16.:43:49.

builder Stephen Maguire is, as he showed in the second frame. Not

:43:49.:43:55.

quite as much pressure as there is now.

:43:55.:44:01.

chance he's had to win a frame of the match now. Will he take this

:44:01.:44:11.
:44:11.:44:36.

This is the key shot. He has to get the kiss right. He

:44:36.:44:42.

would like to screw the same corner as the black, but once he hits the

:44:42.:44:47.

four all on thelands, he could be fine. He could hold it, so the

:44:47.:44:57.

bottom red pass... 24. From our commentary position, this one was

:44:57.:45:07.
:45:07.:45:17.

APPLAUSE And he's in business.

:45:17.:45:22.

He's played for the loose one, the one at the back still goes. Not a

:45:22.:45:26.

bad choice. The way he was cuing up, it looked as if he was gonna screw

:45:26.:45:31.

that black in. But can he hold himself together?

:45:31.:45:36.

He's faced a bit of an on slaught from the defending champion in the

:45:36.:45:46.
:45:46.:46:24.

because he was a bit closer to the Dennis was talking about, to go

:46:24.:46:29.

into the bunch. He didn't have to at that time. He knew if they split

:46:29.:46:33.

nicely, he would have a choice of shots. He's probably one red away

:46:33.:46:37.

from making this a certain cleanerance. From everything else,

:46:37.:46:43.

a little bit of stuns and screws. If he gets nicely now, I can't see

:46:43.:46:51.

Higgins coming back to the table. John Higgins, his name is on the

:46:51.:46:55.

trophy three times. APPLAUSE

:46:55.:47:00.

REFEREE: 41. He just looked at the other table

:47:00.:47:10.
:47:10.:47:17.

there. That's the trophy that he once.

:47:17.:47:27.
:47:27.:47:48.

REFEREE: 48. REFEREE: 49. All right 43 in front.

:47:48.:47:58.
:47:58.:48:09.

He would have to do something very chance.

:48:09.:48:16.

REFEREE: 56. And then he missed a black that we didn't expect him to,

:48:16.:48:26.
:48:26.:48:28.

win in the end, Willy, it looked like he could have won this match

:48:28.:48:32.

6-1. But John Higgins put up a fantastic fight-back, winning three

:48:32.:48:39.

in a row. APPLAUSE

:48:39.:48:45.

REFEREE: 63. Regardless of who won this match, it's gonna be a game

:48:45.:48:51.

against Judd Trump. The defending champion will be on his way back up

:48:51.:49:01.
:49:01.:49:09.

to Scotland. misses this red, but Jim Maguire

:49:09.:49:16.

looks like he is in the next round. John Higgins, congratulations.

:49:16.:49:21.

(LAUGHTER). He put up a real fight for the defending champion Higgins,

:49:21.:49:25.

Maguire was a little too strong for him on the night. He goes out by 6

:49:26.:49:35.
:49:36.:49:37.

to 4. A great contest. Tonight's other match Neil Robertson against

:49:37.:49:44.

Graham Dot in a repeat of the Crucible final. That is it. Snooker
