Euro 2017 Qualifier: England v Estonia Women's Football

In terms of qualifying for Euro 2017, England are there, and they

are here at Notts County's Meadow Lane wet tonight they meet Estonia

in their last ten qualifier of the campaign. Mark Sampson is looking

for the right formula at England look to build on that historic third

place at last year's World Cup. The preparations for the tournament next

have already begun with qualification assured. Decent start.

It is in the back of the net! Got there in the end. England have a

breakthrough! Got out of jail. That is a mistake also it drops to Jill

Scott! For England! Left it late. Carney from close range, they could

not keep at bay. Back on track. Daly! Job done. 7-0, England

absolutely rampant. Good evening and welcome to

Nottingham. Tonight I'm joined by two former England stars with 14

major tournament under their belts between them including a European

Championship final no less, Rachel Brown-Finnis and Kelly Smith. We'll

be hearing from at half-time doorstep now the players are out on

the pitch. Your commodities are Sue Smith and Jonathan Pearce. --

tonight with the recent deaths of England youth international and

Sylvia Gore. Jo Potter and Dan Carter play their first

internationals since the game against Estonia a year ago will stop

Jordan Nobbs replaces Fara Williams and Nikita Parris get reward for

scrubbing two as a sub in Serbia. With Karen Bardsley not risk,

Siobhan Chamberlain continues in goal. Estonia's only qualifying win

for the Euros came 13 years ago. English coach Keith Boanas steps

down after this. Naoupu scored their last qualifying goal four years ago.

And now a minute's applause for Sylvia Gore, the first England

goal-scorer ever who scored against Scotland in November 1972. She

served the women's game for 60 years and England youth international Zoe

Tynan. Both will be very badly missed by the English game. The

England players went to Zoe Tynan's funeral on Monday. I know a lot of

the England players have felt her loss very sadly over the last few

days. I would like to ask you all to now

stand for a minute's applause. I know you knew Sylvia Gore very

well. I did, she was a very close friend. The word legend is used

quite freely in sport and football but she genuinely was one, a real

pioneer. She helped me with my dotball, paying for a local boy

Steve and she took me to my first ladies team and I'm sure many of the

girls have similar stories. She will be sadly missed by me and buy

everybody associated with women's football. And in terms of mental

ring, -- mentoring, Keith Boanas, the Estonian coach, played a big

role in helping a lot of the England players, especially when he was at

Charlton. He coached Marion Spacey to her Uefa B badge. She is studying

for her full pro badge. She is on the bench down there, and England

legend in her own right. And it will be England to get us under way,

taking from right to left in the first half. The referee is unhappy.

Presumably because the England cavalry charge on the far side went

too early. I haven't seen a line-up like this at international level for

a long time from the kick-off. Immediately England on the front

foot. Exactly you can see what their intent is, to go forward with pace

quickly from the kick-off. Steph Horta and the captain. Jo Potter

played centre-back against Canada. -- Steph Houghton.

There was a little foot left in there on Gemma Davison, nominally

the right back. That is a good run in by Carney and

the first corner of the game for England in the second minute. Great

ball from Potter and that is what she has been put in to do, fantastic

left foot, she spotted the run of Karen Carney and played it into the

space. They ripped them apart, it was a year ago next week, winning

8-0. Another corner. Conceded by Katrin Loo who has just signed for

Flora Tallinn at home. Same result. A lot of these Estonian players have

only been playing football for four or five years. I note Keith Boanas

has worked a lot with the under 17 and under 18 team but the

development of their players, a bit like the English players a couple of

decades ago, they are that far behind. Houghton was in there. I

think we will see a few chances. That is a better corner, the first

did not beat the first player but Steph Houghton got in front of her

player but could not quite direct the header where she wanted it. That

is what England need to do, they need to put the ball in the box and

get players on the end of it and if they can score early on it could be

another eight. Parris is off and after that and it is another corner.

We have had to one half minutes and England have had three corners

already. In Estonia they ripped the home team apart down the right-hand

side where Gemma Davison was playing as a very high wingback and that is

what she will do again today. They will attack down the flanks. Carney

again in her 118th appearance for England. Davison tried to find Jill

Scott. Nobs is in space. Here is Davison, bags of pace. The

good job by Vals, fairly experienced with 42 caps, playing on the left

side of a midfield four but most of the game you will see Estonia with

11 behind the ball. It is a mark of respect for the English women's team

that most of the teams they have faced in these qualifiers, including

Belgium, have tried to smother England. I think that is credit to

England and how they perform in the World Cup, that teams come here and

defend because they know how good we are going forward. That is a test to

Mark Sampson, how he can break teams down. Up towards Aarna who is 25

international goals, plays abroad in Finland. She is the second-highest

scorer in Estonian football. She has not found the back of the net in

this qualifying campaign, none of them have.

They have not qualified in 6 euros campaigns, 38 qualifiers from one

win, one draw, and they have conceded 179 goals in that time at

nearly five a game. Very much the weakest side in this group. Only 12

European teams are ranked below Estonia. That is a nasty patch she

has got on her head, Lepik. Nikita Parris, only 22, Danielle

Carter is 23, Jordan Nobbs is 23, plenty of youth in this England side

tonight. Plenty of time for Jo Potter, immensely likeable

character, back in the England fold for the first in a year. A bit

hesitation. But England allowed to play out with no pressure on them.

Jo Potter plays here at Notts County, she signed a short-term deal

in the middle of the summer from Birmingham City. She has been

playing really well since her move. I keep watching highlights and she

is always involved. Making a fantastic pass or putting a cross

in, scoring free kicks. Badly needed a change I think. That is what she

said she wanted, a fresh start with her and Jade Moore both moving to

Notts County. It has probably taken them some time to adapt to the style

that she has been playing well and got a lot of plaudits. England in

comparison to Estonia have won 16 of the last 17 home qualifiers. Their

defeat against France, I think the Estonian manager played in goal that

day, Keith Boanas. Davison on the outside, a decent

cross in, it doesn't quite come to Demi Stokes. Lucy Bronze wants it,

one of the start of the World Cup campaign and that was very nearly

1-0 from Nikita Parris. That is a very good ball from Lucy Bronze.

England are just keeping one player back. Lucy Bronze with a lovely

whipped in ball and Nikita Parris could not quite steer her head and

she will be disappointed with that. I have seen her score for Manchester

City this season and she snatched that a little bit. But she has had

an excellent season and well deserves this start. One of the

exciting things about Mark Sampson is that he is provided to try

different formations. -- prepared to try. He tries new things. And it

keeps players on their toes. Davison Bidwell, across to the post, Stokes

was in their once again -- Davison did well.

Scott with the cross, control by Carter! She got a hat-trick in

Estonia and opens the scoring tonight in the ninth minute, 1-0 and

Carter's second international and a fourth goal. Great finish, she

scored in Estonia after about two minutes and she has now scored

within ten minutes. That is good build-up from England, one and two

touch passing, she turns and what a finish into the bottom corner. It

was a good ball in but she should not have time, the defender gives

her so much time and space. Instinctive finish, good finish, she

will be happy with that and that will raise her and the team's

confidence. Allowed to turn, it has to be said, but she got the shot

away. What a year it could turn out to be for her, having scored of

course at Wembley. That was when Arsenal beat Chelsea in the FA Cup

final. Chelsea still in with a shout of the title, they go to Manchester

City on Sunday week. If Manchester City avoid defeat in that game, they

will be champions. That nearly came to Parris. Karen Carney out wide to

Demi Stokes. Manchester City player of cause and that is a lovely cross

in, just edged away and I think it was Raadik who got it away. She

plays abroad in Finland, over 50 caps, experienced international but

not in this class against England. Davison again, a lovely cross and

just too far. Stokes was there, you have to feel sorry for the left-back

Estonia, Hindrimae, she is being torn apart. They have isolated her,

every time Gemma Davison gets the ball she has a go. If you are a

centre forward, you would be loving these deliveries. They haven't

really learned from the performance against England at home. Hindrimae

did not play in that game. Whoever Davison came up against, she

absolutely destroyed. Estonia behind, they might have

expected it, they might have been happy with what aspect of the

England goal. I get suspicion that there might be a handball in the

build-up. It might be me grumbling about things, I am of that age! Very

much a pint glass half empty man. Jo Potter scored in that game in

Estonia. But England are doing so well, they are switching the ball

from one side of the pitch to the other, making Estonia work. I guess

their fitness levels will be nothing like the England players. Not at

all, they will not be training every day and they will not have the same

fitness plans and programmes that our girls have got. He has tried to

encourage that in Estonian football, Keith Boanas, who is a very well

respected coach in England. Stokes pulls it back and of the bar and

Jill Scott makes sure and it is 2-0 to England and they are already in

the driving seat in the 13th minute. Exactly what Jill Scott does she

follows up on everything and put herself in the right place at the

right time. They are getting it out wide and that is where they are

getting joy, interchanging positions. I thought this had gone

in off Nikita Parris, it hits the bar but Jill Scott, the right place

at the right time and she scores a goal after goal like that. She now

has five goals in this qualifying campaign. And she is amongst the top

scorers in the qualifying competition. One of the tallest

players out there at five feet 11 and 18 goals now for her country.

Stokes. So easy for England. They have had one or two in this

campaign, they would have been expected to win this by three or

four but if they carry on as they are, they could run up a record

victory. The record was 13-0 against Hungary in October 2000 five.

Estonia's record defeat was 11-0 away. -- October 2005.

Steph Houghton might fancy this. 24 metres out.

Three England players standing in offside positions but they will come

back on. The Russian referee talking to them all stop the Estonian camp

unhappy that there are Russian officials tonight I can tell you

really unhappy. How tune with the free kick, it stuck in the hands of

Getter Laar, the Estonian goalkeeper, who once had a trial

period at Chelsea. That was about five years ago now.

Jordan Nobbs gets through so much work. Stokes.

All the time in the world. Demi Stokes. Too easy on the outside.

Little pull back and the return, a bit overambitious prom Karen Carney,

England overplayed that. They were on a different wavelength. -- from

Karen Carney. But the wide players are always looking to beat players.

Was that handball as it comes in? Well, it hit her on the arm. It did.

Here it is again. It flicks up... I think she moves her right arm down

to it. Out comes Getter Laar again. You don't want to tick that goal

away from her because it was a lovely turn and finish but it did

hit her on the arm -- take that goal away. I will tell her afterwards

that it was you! The goalkeeper just promoted with Metz. Another break

into the box and across goal and Danielle Carter! She makes

absolutely short this time, nothing wrong with that one, and Carter

makes it 3-0 and we have not been playing 17 minutes yet. We spoke

about a potential and ball for the first goal but that was a good

finish, it is so easy for England, so much time and space to pick out a

pass. Good work from Jill Scott and Carter starts the move with the ball

to Parris whose first touch is forward and that is a good ball in.

It is an easy finish in the end. Still has to be finished. Sylvia

Gore would have appreciated that, she was a good goal-scorer in time,

once 134 goals in a single season. She will definitely be smiling down

watching this. England have already qualified. Even if they finish

second behind Belgium they will still qualify as one of the best

second placed team and he knows that. He has talked about raising

the bar, improving fitness levels. They had a camp together in August

at St George's Park and he wants improved performances. He wants

more. So that England go into the finals next summer really

competitive and with a real hope of ending that domination of Germany

who have won the last six titles. And he realises how important

fitness is because the top teams in the world are the fittest teams. He

has looked at other sports and how we can take stuff from maybe the

hockey or rugby team and bring that into football. It is something that

has not been done before in women's football. It is good that we are

moving that way. Not a bad run around the back. Katrin Loo, the

25-year-old, former young Player of the Year. One thing that has bugged

me in recent weeks, Jill Scott and Seth Horton, the only England

players anywhere in the voting for European Player of the Year -- Steph

Houghton. England finished third in the world. These are players playing

at the highest level. I couldn't understand it at all. Normally, the

team finishing third in the world should surely have more players.

Lucy Bronze, Jill Scott could have been higher. Some players had

fantastic tournament and they have been ignored. That is surely a

handball. Not given against Inna Zlidnis but a chance for Davison and

it goes beyond the goalkeeper. Another corner for England and

almost a fourth goal. Very nearly a fourth goal. That was a definite

handball. She played it back to the keeper who gives it straight to

Gemma Davison and I wonder if she could about a shot after the first

touch. The defender has got back and blocked it. The year she has had

from winning the league with Chelsea, cup runner-up this sitcom

looks like they will be league runners-up but maybe they will go to

Manchester City and win. We will see.

Jordan Nobbs, Arsenal cup winner for the fourth time in the spring.

Scored a terrific goal in the 2009 under 19 Uefa final. Scott has won

that back, England hunting for another, movement in the area, back

to Jordan Nobbs who set her sights. And she bends it just wide of

target. She's got a long-range winner on her England debut Italy

three years ago now. She has that ability, just could not kill it

enough. Why not test the keeper. -- curl it. And of course she is the

heiress to Fara Williams's role in that site. Fara Williams just has a

bit of an injury and is sitting in the stands. But at 32 and with 155

caps behind her, she is giving away years to Jordan Nobbs who is only

23. We spoke about fitness earlier and Jordan Nobbs is a real advocate

of that. She is top of most of the fitness scores. Sitting in a deeper

role but she will be getting forward as much as she can. So much energy

in that midfield with Jordan Nobbs and Jill Scott and Karen Carney. See

was initially coached by her dad, Keith, who was a fearsome

centre-back in his day -- she was coached. He played over 400 games in

his career. Steph Houghton. Was given the armband because of her

drive and ambition and leadership capabilities. Stokes. Jo Potter.

Houston. England are enjoying themselves but it breaks down and

this is Eneli Vals but she loses possession. They doesn't cut it

back. Palmaru, the most experienced player with 103 caps, she plays in

Norway. Damage limitation for Estonia. Goal difference in the

group is now -31. It is so difficult when you go one down early on and

Keith Boanas will have set up to his players. Try to stay compact and not

concede so early. As a player, especially when you are used to

conceding so many, it just deflates you. He played on the England

semipro team for many years, ended up at tooting amateur, coach of the

year in the Ryman League and nationwide coach of the year in

2003- 04. He took Charlton to four cup finals. He is an excellent coach

and it would be fantastic to see him back in the Women's Super League.

All the players he has coached speed so highly of him.

He made training fund. That's the most important thing you want to

learn but you have to enjoy it in the I suppose it's just opinions

and whether Hope Powell thought she was playing well enough. It almost

Jordan Nobbs with the freedom of Nottingham, playing up the world's

oldest football league club. Towards Aarna. Much changed, Meadow

Lane, now holds about 20,000 but the average for Notts County under 3900.

They are 17th in League 2. The first game ever played here was against

Nottingham Forest in 1910 and 27,000 people came and they paid the grand

total of ?775 in gate receipts. Such a historic ground. Lucy Bronze.

So easy for her. In comes the cross, Parris. Gemma Davison is really

shredding Estonia. She really is. Every time she gets the ball, she

wants to beat a player. That's what Gemma Davison can do. If you leave

her one versus one, it is just a case of the Centre forward getting

on the end of it. Only on the stand-by list for the World Cup in

Canada. Away by Loo. Second highest capped

player with 75 internationals. Parris, her shirt was being tapped.

Pulling away a couple of yards to gain some space. Jill Scott, Gemma

Davison coming here she goes again. She'll have a second go. Back to

Lucy Bronze. Davison with the cross. Headed away

by Loo, driven back in by Jo Potter. Do you know what this reminds me of?

Coaching and under 18 team up against and under 16 team, under 15

team. It is like an attack versus defence drill. How can the attack

break the defence down? England certainly are doing that. You are

not supposed to put age groups together if they are more than two

years apart. Here is Nikita Parris. Back to her. The Manchester City

player. If they win the Super League, I wonder whether they will

go on to dominate. They have backed it with real money and investment,

Manchester City, with the junior ranks and the Academy. They do

everything right, Manchester City, both on and off the field and I

think it's a model in a lot of teams can look at. Try and emulate.

Davison with Danielle Carter on a hat-trick! Well saved. It was a good

save. Driving run from Gemma Davison. Took a touch, and you can

see she tried to curl it in the top corner. The goalkeeper managed to

get two strong hands on it and push it away. Four goals in six

qualifiers in this cycle of international football. Here is

Jordan Nobbs. Just a slip by Davison, bronze recovered the

situation. Overplayed that. Jill Scott was

fouled. What used to be called a hospital ball into her, because it

invited a hefty challenge. It was a hefty challenge. Great competitor,

isn't she? Oh, she is. She works so hard for the team. Ten

internationals to her name now. Here's Jo Potter. Adventurous pass,

trying to get it in over the head of Hindrimae. I've been really

impressed with England's workrate. It can be easy to sit back but as

soon as they lose the ball there are one and two players trying to win it

back as quick as they possibly can. England stronger, fitter,

technically better. Should go on to win by a hatful. Having scored three

so early on. Here is Karen Carney. Trying to dribble her way into the

box. That is one of the dangers when you are this comfortable, that you

do try to over elaborate? Yeah, you probably do things you wouldn't

ordinarily do, because you can take three or four players on, shoot from

distance. Pottery with the cross in. Just saw what Gemma Davison coming.

To be fair, she will not know what her face looks like. Only seen the

back of her heels, hasn't she! Jill Scott around the corner,

looking for Davison again. Zlidnis will clear it away. Jill

Scott with the cross, Parris attacks it. Didn't make great contact. Given

that Estonia will be expected to wilt in the final third of the game,

England will look to score six or seven, I'm sure. They'll be

disappointed if they don't. Important that England do finished

only. -- do finished strongly. Win this one convincingly and when they

go to Belgium on Tuesday, win that. Belgium won in Serbia earlier, 3-1,

two technically take the lead in the group. Now a point above England

with this game going on. It's also important because England are just

behind in the European coefficient table, why is that important? Well,

the top seeds for the draw, which comes up later on this year, will

come from the top three in the European coefficient table, because

the Netherlands will be top seeds as hosts. With Germany, France and

Sweden above England at the moment. If England finish qualifying

strongly and the Swedes don't, they might get a top seed slot. That

would mean they would avoid Germany and France. So, are you following

that, or... I told you that. Keith Boanas must have said to his

game, what ever you do, try to keep the ball. A foot in, there, but it

come straight back to Lucy Bronze. Carney, can she keep it in? She has

done, she has pulled it back into the middle and none of her

team-mates were there. Gemma Davison is there. Jill Scott. Lucy Bronze is

desperate to get among the goals, I would think. Scored a couple in

Canada in the World Cup finals where she was such a star. Panic --

Bannikova pulls it back. She plays for Parnu, who if they were to win

the league, it would be their seventh title in a row. Jordan

Nobbs. They've finally realised they've got to double up on Gemma

Davison. Palmaru. It's taken them 35-minute is to actually realise,

try and get across and help your defender out. Some of these players

are ten years short of experience. That's offside against Nikita

Parris. Something in Keith Boanas has worked on. But he has to have

his National Federation firmly behind him. Of course. It must be

such a difficult job as a coach going over there, a coach that is

used to a lot of backing from Charlton when he was there, and I

think he was at Millwall, when he doesn't have that, it's him, his

goalkeeper coach and a physio, you think of everything England have

got, the structure behind them, they are part 20 years behind. It is all

paying off. The second FA girls football week has exceeded the

target of registration numbers a month before that event starts. Free

kick here for a foul on Lucy Bronze. 31,000 women and girls have signed

up. If you still want to be involved in that, contact the FA, get on

their website. Knobs in behind, it will come for Parris, and over it

goes. Should have been four. -- Nobbs in behind. I would have

predicted Parris to have scored. Just snatched at it a little bit.

She's had a fantastic season for Manchester City but she'll be

disappointed with those chances. The header early on, and that chance,

then. Against Aston Villa, was it, in the cup competition, through to

the final of that, aren't they, Manchester City? Yeah, I watched her

at the weekend and she was excellent. Jo Potter allowed to

bring it forward. Good understanding between the two of them. Here is

Jill Scott. And Davison again. Couple of step overs, pulls it back

into the middle. Got to be fair to Nikita Parris, at Manchester City

she does play wide of her front three. Not always in the central

position. Got to stick up for my fellow Scouser. Aluko not involved

at the moment, seems to have fallen out of favour in the last couple of

years, Ellen White is out for the season with a collarbone. She's

picked up some injuries over the years. Such a willing worker as

well. All those involved with England women's football send best

wishes. It's funny, I was talking to Alan White, she's such a good

trainer, and because of her collarbone she is not allowed to do

much training, but she was still trying to do a one armed plank. I'm

sure she will work the way back into this team. You were having a chat on

the phone, usual for you, is it? I love a bit of gossip. You love a

chat, don't you? Jordan Nobbs. So comfortable. I mean, what can you

do, if you are Keith Boanas, now? They are clearly not fit enough even

to close England down. They can't get anywhere near England. Brilliant

from England, job to do, you can only play against the team in front

of you, that's the old maxim. It is, and they are moving the ball around.

If they took more touches Estonia could probably get close to them and

close them down but England aren't giving them any chance to do that.

England will be there. Scotland are looking good in Group 1 going into

these last rounds of games. Saw the run of Nobbs, lovely

football by England. Good run, good ball from Karen Carney, definitely

onside. Wins her team a corner. Two Estonia players have played every

minute of this, find campaign so far. Parris at the far post, Jill

Scott at the near. A misplaced clearance by Bannikova. Parris is

onside and got the shot away, blocked by Lepik. England will go

left. Not a great clearance by Loo, not helping themselves. Gemma

Davison has come to the left-hand side now. She will take on Bannikova

and just inside, she could get a shot away if she fancies itself.

Jordan Nobbs is OK. To land a half minute to go of a

first half totally dominated by England. Four in the box. She will

bring in Jill Scott. Bronze is further wide. Stokes has gone to

that far side now. They have done the job well because it was a no-win

situation really for England. If they win the Game 6-0 they will not

draw that much praise, any less than that and they will get criticised.

Another formation Mark Sampson has tried out with three at the back.

Lucy Bronze more of a right wingback. Jo Potter a central

midfielder. Again, just leaving Steph Houghton at the back, and

those two can push on. And it has worked. Gemma Davison just drawing

away a couple of yards to lose Lepik, the right back. Carney tries

to push it into Parris, Carney was following up. Bannikova will clear

it away. Featured in their last two games. We watch very closely as

England finished third in the world two years ago, we have seen them

win. We've seen them struggle in this campaign once or twice but

we've seen them win games very comfortable lead over the past two

years. I would say Estonia are probably the worst thing we have

seen. Yeah, I think so. It is just all too easy for England. You did

say you've got to play against a team, whatever they put out there,

that's what England have done. No criticism of their coach who is very

highly thought of, not just in the women's game but in then non-league

football and higher than that. He worked with senior players at

Charlton when he was down there, players like Jason Newell.

I know that one or two of the English clubs are interested in

Keith Boanas. He finishes in November, actually. Goes back out to

the Baltic States after this. He sees his team going in 3-0 down at

half-time, two for Danielle Carter, one for Jill Scott. Plans for the

slaughter, 3-0 down against a very good England team.

At half-time it was never likely to be a cliffhanger given the Gulf of

resources in quality and what have you between the two sides, but how

would you assess what you have seen? Well, a very one-sided game from the

start, all England. Good, composed possession from the start with so

much time on the ball and that's because Estonia are sitting so deep.

Jordan Nobbs is controlling the game. If she can play it to Davison

on the right, if they can't get down that side, they are patient and work

it through Steph Howdon and Stokes. They switch it from side to side.

The quality of the crossing has been very good tonight. When you are

playing the minnows of the group and you are expected to win

compensatory, what are key characteristics Mark Sampson would

want to see from his side? You come up against an organised and deep

team. We have seen it a number of times, almost ten Estonia and

players in the box. Breaking them down is difficult. The way to do

that as opposition is by using the width of the pitch, stretching it,

making Estonia chase England, which England have done well. Limiting

your touches to one or two touch which speeds up the game. We get the

ball from right-to-left as quick as possible. Seeing those early passes

and drilling them in. England have done that so far. Some of the

passing has not been as crisp as I would have liked, but that is the

key to breaking down a team like Estonia. We got an idea right from

kick-off, England's tactics, a of being attacking from the get go. A

little bit eager to begin with. Four players started running before the

ball had been played. You can see Mark Sampson drilled it into the

team to get on the front foot, hit them straightaway. You can see the

eagerness straightaway as the ball is played back, they are on their

way, and they are going to challenge and try to get the ball from there.

Psychologically to get right into them. It did not take them long to

score. Making Estonia backed off right away. I think it was just

after nine minutes, Danielle Carter, she got her hat-trick in her first

game against Estonia, some debate about whether she controls the ball

with her hand. But really England had piled on the pressure before

that, as chances a minute before that. This is a great little touch,

turn, and a beautiful drill finish across the goalkeeper into the

corner. Carter started as she last finished. Bit of a Thierry Henry 's

style handball. A little pat and they turn, but she was given too

much time to turn and shoot. Didn't take long for the second goal. And

we talked about Demi Stokes getting forward and high. What I like about

this, she doesn't just hit it into the box, she picks out Parris, with

Jill Scott ghosting in at the back post. She is so tall effective in

the air. It's just a little easy not for Jill Scott. And we have seen

Demi Stokes bombing it down the left-hand side and picking out

Nikita Parris. Jill Scott at the back post. A sign of things that

Manchester City have been doing all season. Ekiza the armband from Jill

Scott, she knows and Zoe Tynan very well who sadly lost her life

recently. Inode Jill had spoken to her very shortly before her death

and was close to her, nurturing a young player coming through the

system at Manchester City. I know it hit all the girls hard, and a little

sign of respect to dedicate that goal. You know Dan Carter from

Arsenal very well indeed. He's been on fire coming off the back of the

FA Cup. Here she gets up, her second goal of the game, waiting patiently.

She just follows her run and it's a nice, easy tap in. She could have

just watched Parris but she is eager enough to get in the box and get on

the end of this. And it's an easy, composed finish for Carter. And

another chance, goalkeeper making a good save. Absolutely. A little bit

too easy, nobody around Dan Carter, but quite a spectacular save from

the Estonia goalkeeper who has been called on numerous times apart from

picking the ball out of the back of the net. Carter could have been

getting that early hat-trick, but I expect she'll be looking for more

goals in the second half. You thought England were not as clinical

in their passing as you thought they should have been, is that something

that happened psychologically when you are so much the better side, you

can get sloppy? Yeah, it's easy to get your foot off the gas. If a

player is not closing you down you might take extra touches. In a game

like this, if you keep that ball moving, it's easy to pass when you

should dribble and trouble when you should pass sometimes but I've been

quite impressed. They are spraying the ball very well. Jordan Nobbs is

dictating play and Steph Horton is spreading from left to right. I see

patients from England, not getting frustrated, they looked composed and

confident. The early goals helped. The men would have loved a few more

early goals in the summer when they had to break down some tight

defences. England have qualified for Euro 2017 already, so how do they go

about improving on third place at last year 's World Cup? We gauged

the thoughts of manager Mark Sampson.

Certainly we don't want this England team to be a team that other teams

can work out easily. We are aware of what we need to do in football

matches. We always try to get the best out of our players and hurt the

opposition where we can. That's our objective, our tactical plans and

our game strategy. We are very clear in terms of principles. I'm a big

believer that, as long as your principles are clear, your

formations will follow, whatever you play, you will know it is England

from the principles they adopt. One of the big challenges when I came

into this job, you always felt looking behind you on the bench, you

have guys who want to play, which is football, but there was not the

mentality where they want their make to be great. Now they all want to

push each other to their maximum level. They want to in courage that

mentality to make sure they fight hard, find a way into the squad.

Competing for a spot in the team. I now believe that if we are there now

and the teams we are trying to catch are a little bit above us, they are

going to get better. What we've got to do is make sure our curve is far

more vertical than theirs. A lot of stuff has got to happen before those

graphs cross to get us above where we need to be. We talk a lot about

where we are now, where we want to get to, and a lot of that work is

belief. I think we are the best team in Europe at the moment. We can go

into a game against Germany or France and England will win. We've

just got to make sure we produce the performances we need to do. And it's

important the players believe they can go on that field and win, and

that's a big obstacle to overcome. We've done some great work getting

there, we've just got to keep working. We talk about belief, and

merely is certainly somebody who has developed belief through playing in

a winning team. She has found a way to get into that Chelsea team, she

now has Champions League experience. She is a league champion, and now

she's involved with the senior setup. Millie is somebody you can

rely on and trust. She is a hard worker. We can't go into the

European Championships knowing that when we are at our best it is a

50-50 game. We've got to go into games against Germany, France,

Sweden, Norway, and be clear that if we perform, we will win football

matches. And when we are not at our best we have to find a way to win a

football match. We've got a lot of work to get to that position. Next

July we want to make sure the players are in a position, they walk

across the white line, and they know if they hit their levels nobody can

stop us. Mark Sampson has an embarrassment of

riches and I'm sure Keith Boanas would love to draw on that. He

mentioned Millie Bright, a talented up-and-coming player. The VT cut off

just before you got your retribution! She is a fantastic

player, she has come in and established herself in a tough

Chelsea midfield. She is strong, built this way, very muscular and

hard to beat. She reads the game well and she has a great diagonal

ball. We have seen tonight how important that is. She might feature

against Belgium. Who else would you like to see at the European

Championships next summer who is not involved tonight? We have a number,

Eni Aluko, Katie Chapman, Fran Kirby, Jodie Taylor has not featured

a lot. Ellen White is out with her shoulder. There are a lot of players

who will be eager to get back into the squad. And what about what he

said, saying that they were the best team in Europe? Are they better than

Germany and France? It is what he thinks. I am asking you what you

thinks! It is what he makes the team think. Mentality is about what he is

trying to push this England team towards. I do think that England are

one of the best teams in Europe. They will be going into the

championships expecting to win it. They have ticked every box and are

pushing on every level, the physical and the mental side, the performance

aspect of their game and how he is creating a positive team dynamic and

what their expectations are of each other as a team, that is the next

level of where they need to keep improvement. A lot of confidence for

his players. One of them who is not involved tonight and who is injured

is Alex Greenwood and she is talking to us. That was a solid first half,

what are your thoughts? Like you said, solid, good to get the early

goal which settled us down and we have played some good attacking

football and there should be plenty more goals. Fedor say they could

have had more? Definitely. -- fair to say. It is about luck as well, we

hit the crossbar. But more chances and I'm sure we will score more.

Individually, who stood out for you? I think the forwards have at a good

game, Gemma Davison has been threatening on the wing. She is

definitely the threat for us. The players are currently in the

dressing room, you have been in there and are part of the team, what

will be messy to be from Mark Sampson? Same again, moreover it --

the message. Don't switch off at the back and stay positive. We will

probably have more of the ball but state switched on. Bearing in mind

they are already 3-0 up and playing Belgium on Tuesday, do you think we

will see some changes in the second half? I'm sure there will be, some

positive ones to score more goals. And I can't let you go without

asking about your own rehab, you have a lovely recovery boot, how is

the metatarsal? The rehab is going well, I'm three weeks in. But I will

be back before I know it. We hope to see you back soon. A very good

player, Alex Greenwood, it will be great to see her back. She talked

about Gemma Davison, saying how good she was in the first half and there

was a lot of good work that she did. Sometimes gave the ball away as well

but let's start with the good stuff. She had so much pace, it is

frightening. One on one, you have got to get as tight as possible. She

drops her shoulder and she had so much speed. I've been impressed with

her crossing. Overall, she has been very good. Step over and see you

later. Trying to get the ball behind the defender. I think the nerves got

to hurt a bit and she gave it awake cheaply. One-on-one, don't come

inside where it is congested. She gives it away again, just give it

back and come at the other way. She sometimes over complicate things.

She no doubt has the quality but her decision-making can let her down.

And against Estonia, ranked so much lower than England, do you think

Mark Sampson is likely to play that formation against one of the better

sides? She will be given more of a free role tonight. You can use that

effectively in that role but against a more instructed to, one-on-one,

they might have to rethink the tactics -- against a more structured

team. But she has to be tidy with the ball. Decision-making, getting

behind the defenders, with the ball at her feet, she can pick out

players and no doubt she will contribute to more goals. It is 3-0

at half-time and the players are back on the pitch, interesting to

see what Mark Sampson has in mind for the second half. Let's get back

to our commentary team. COMMENTATOR: Thank you. I can't see

any changes out there from either manager at the moment. I am sure the

changes will come. Extending that debate, if you look at the England

squad who go out to the Netherlands next summer, one think Mark Sampson

cannot do, he cannot take Claire Rafferty, Demi Stokes and Alex

Greenwood. It was Demi Stokes who missed out in the World Cup. And she

played right into the World Cup and got left out. I think everybody was

surprised that she was left out. She has played the majority of these

qualifiers. It would be a real disappointment if she got left out.

Only missed one qualifier so far. Estonia get is underway. Katrin Loo

has not had a bad game, probably their best player, the 25-year-old

who plays for Flora Tallinn. A very enjoyable atmosphere here. There was

a young girl 's game at half-time, the final update competition that

was in the Nottingham area. England have possession with Lucy Bronze,

towards Danielle Carter. A couple of interested VIPs here

tonight I will tell you about in a moment. Tim Baillie, the former X

factor winner -- Kim Bailey. And one of the gold medal winning GB

hockey team is here. She is from Newark, went to react in

school. -- Repton. Jogging across. 3-0 up and they are

barely broken sweat. The England football has been very good to

watch, easy on the eye. Karen Carney will take this. On that corner they

had four players that went out for the short corner just to drag some

of the Estonians out. And it gives Steph Houghton a free header. She

will captain the side if she is fit next summer. She has had heartache

in previous competition, missed the 2007 World Cup with a broken leg and

2009 with a cruciate but who will be there alongside her? Laura Bassett

has been involved. Not -- Notts County player of course. Jo

Potter has done well, Casey Stoney MBE, now at Arsenal. She is watching

from the stands, 129 caps, vital experience around the dressing room.

She will be 35 in the summer, another to think about. It is

difficult for him but I'm sure he is pleased he has got that dilemma

about which players to take. There was a lot of competition for places.

Parris is offside. Will Nikita Parris be there and

could Toni Duggan comeback in? She will be another that will be

desperate to get back into the England setup. Mark Sampson keeps

his players on their toes, keeps them guessing, nobody is safe in the

squad. There are no favourites. Karen Carney.

That was easy in the end for Laar. That was a criticism of previous

English regimes. And the fact that Mark Sampson has not done that, he

has come in and changed his team, rotating his team. He plays players

who are in form. He keeps you on your toes as a player and that is

all you want. You know you will get a starting position if you play

well. Lee Kendall is the goalkeeping coach

there, but more than that really, he has a big role with the team, the

Welshman. England using that experience. I bet

that has created a vibrant scene around St George's.

Steph Houghton, Jill Scott. Carney tried to find Davison and she does

now. Three in the middle to hit. She pulled it back to Jordan Nobbs and

it was just taken away but followed up and lashed wide by Karen Carney

but it was a really important claimant at the back for Estonia and

it was Inna Zlidnis touch. Vital touch. Gemma Davison beat two

players and picks out Jordan Nobbs and she'd just slipped as she was

about to connect. The defender actually intercept it.

A little bit of pressure on the goalkeeper. Another thing about the

England setup, Mark Sampson will listen. We mentioned Lee Kendall. He

takes advice. A good setup behind the scenes with

England. That is offside. Here is a big question, we heard what the

panel said but are England better than Germany and France at this

stage? You have put me on the spot! It sound like I'm sitting on the

fence, which I probably am, but I think on their day they are. When we

watch them play Germany in that third fourth player, they were

excellent and now they have that belief that they can beat the best

in the world -- play-offs. I agree with Mark Sampson but on our day.

That was easy for the goalkeeper. One thing I would say, Germany have

lost two very influential players, the goalkeeper and Sasic.

England preparing a substitute. They have made changes. Those changes

have affected them. We saw the German performance and they were not

as strong as they have been. Higgins Nikita Parris around the back and so

close to a fourth goal. -- here comes Nikita Parris. Her runs have

been excellent tonight, good timing. She slips it through and beat the

offside trap and she is trying to get that far post and just snatches

it. She deserves a goal. They are preparing to make a substitution, I

think it will be Jade Moore coming on. Came to Notts County with Jo

Potter in the summer. Just edged away. Cleared by Hindrimae,

virtually the first thing she has won, she is only 20. She has played

one qualifier until now. Former under 19 and under 17 player and

know that her toughest night in international football so far.

Carney will take the corner. It comes to Steph Houghton. Another

decent block, I think it was Ounpuu with the block. Good defending from

Estonia but when they win the ball, they just can't keep it and cannot

string two passes together. It was Zlidnis actually with the block.

Time for Gemma Davison to pick out Demi Stokes. Cleared by Bannikova.

Better body shape as she came to meet the window there, that is a

foul. -- the winger. She got squared up too often in the first half. It

is easy for Gemma Davison to throw a step over in and wrong-foot her. Her

starting position was much better. I am sure Keith Boanas has had a word

with her defending position. Jo Potter has a word with Karen

Carney. Jill Scott is in the middle, Steph Houghton up from the back.

Danielle Carter is on a hat-trick. Davison in there as well, aimed

towards the keeper who pointed it away and there is Carter and there

is the hat-trick! -- punches it awaits. England have four goals, she

has three. She got three away in Estonia. Here is one for you and I

don't know the answer but can anybody name another England player

who has scored a hat-trick on her debut and her second international?

I definitely can't! I hope somebody can. She clearly likes playing

against Estonia, Dan Carter. It was a good ball in and the goalkeeper

could only punch it and she takes a touch and hit it straightaway. Not

the best goalkeeping, poor defending. She still had to put it

in the back of the net. Ten minutes gone in the second half and England

are 4-0 up. Houghton, into Jill Scott.

Estonia have Sasova warming up, a midfielder. I wonder if this signals

a changing of the guard because Kaire Palmaru is coming to the end

of her international career after 103 appearances. Very experienced,

their highest capped player. She makes way for Aljona Sasova, has

made a couple of appearances in these qualifiers.

Again, lots of time. Are you going to tell us the answer to the

question? I don't know! Davison. That is a foul. She had to stop her

somehow. Definite foul of their work two of them trying to stop her. --

definite foul, there were two of them.

Maybe somebody could get in touch and put us out of our misery because

I don't know the answer. England making a double substitution

imminently I'm told. The free kick dealt with by Zlidnis. Carney has it

again. Looking to take on Hindrimae, who gave her too much room, she has

to get closer than that. Carney again, Davison out wide.

Hindrimae up against her nemesis again but she has run out.

Here comes England's first substitution, Rachel Daly is going

to come on. And Nikita Parris will make way. Rachel Daly plays her

football for Houston Dash in the USA, four goals for them this

season. She's got on her debut against Serbia at home in the 7-0

and on she comes. I think Nikita Parris has had a solid game, she

will be disappointed not to have scored but her movement and running

off the ball, she will be quite happy. Just a like-for-like swap.

Were you at Lincoln with her? Yes and she played left-back, she has

been transformed into a centre forward. Jo Potter. Jordan Nobbs. A

bit of a tired looking past but Jordan Nobbs chasing back. -- pass.

I felt that Estonia might try to draw one of the English centre-backs

into a wide position and get runners through but they haven't. That is

how you get in against a three but they have not sent any players

forward, just one isolated up there. She tends to drop back in and

defend. It has been a 3-5- two with five in the middle.

That is just misplaced, starting to look a bit tired, Jill Scott. A big

game coming up, Manchester City against Chelsea.

Jill Scott ran her socks off in the first half, as she always does.

Davison. Hindrimae gets back and wind it, fair challenge. Davison

chases back, unfair challenge. That workrate from Gemma Davison, it

was a good tackle, but she gets back up. She fouled her but it is the

effort to get back in. Mark Sampson obviously felt the same that I was,

she is starting to look a little bit tired. On comes Jade Moore. What

will we see from her? A lot of energy, she has moved from Notts

County to -- to Notts County from Birmingham also and is starting to

enjoy her football. That is a hefty challenge straightaway. She will

probably put those challenges and in. She wins the ball and gives it,

really simple and effective, good player. Yellow card for the

substitute, Sasova. Welcome to the game!

Jade Moore at a major role to play in the World Cup. She did that job

very well. She was part of a good English under 19 Euro winning side

in 2009. Several of the squad came from that side. This is her third

appearance in these qualifiers, played in both games against Serbia.

I think she struggled a bit with injury earlier in the season. Just

getting back to fitness and she has that fresh challenge at Notts

County. Seven games before them, sixth in the WSL table at the

moment. Two big games coming up, Reading against Doncaster Belles.

Doncaster need to win to stay up. They really do. It will be two tough

games. And Reading are a good team. They have adapted to WSL one life

very well. It will be tough. A six pointer. Lovely cross in and it is

very nearly into her own net by Bannikova I think. Lovely run and

cross from Gemma Davison. She is loving every minute of being out

here. The right bag was lost in there somehow. Can England get a

fifth? 26 minutes to play. She is the only one who has looked

comfortable, Loo. Carney. The referee allows play to

go on. Was it me or was Jo Potter fouled in

the area? It looked like she went down but she didn't appeal for

anything. Just me then. 25 to go. The referee has told them to come

back and take it again. That is unfortunate. Making sure that she is

the boss. Potter with the free kick. Davison. Nicely done. Jordan Nobbs

tried to stroke it through to Carney. Played by Zlidnis who has

certainly been their best defender. Looking for Aarna, the centre

forward who has not had a sniff of a chance. She scored 166 goals for her

first club in 121 games. Found wanting at this level. As we have

said so often, when England have come across opposition like this in

qualifying, it is a learning curve for them. Uefa are trying to get

these teams onto a sounder footing. It is difficult when they come in

two games like against England. They have had all the money put in,

training full-time and playing against full-time athlete is

difficult. It is that experience as well. The foul there, she was

absolutely slammed. She goes to control it. That must have hurt.

Straight through the back. She has a hat-trick, she will be a candidate

for player of the match. You got to make that decision in about 20

minutes, I'm telling you early because I know what you're like your

decision-making! I have seen you, in Canada, around those hotel buffets!

Here is Jordan Nobbs, into the middle. Off the referee. Stokes

nearly in round the back. Kindly. Right footed, bounced awkwardly.

Seriously, you've had a rotten season fitness wise, haven't you?

Yeah, just niggling little injuries. Think it's my age catching up on me.

Being 21 is hard work! This is where England will be

expected to be by far the stronger team. A little backheel.

The header drops for Carney. That would have been a really good goal.

Jo Potter, centre-half, little backheel. It was actually a really

good move, just couldn't finish it off at the end.

20 goal attempts for England, nine on target. Estonia haven't had a

shot on target. Kubassova about to be sent on. She plays for the club

that are third in the Estonian leader at the moment, in the

play-off section of the championship. She will replace

Bannikova. On paper it is an attacking move, Kubassova is a

centre forward. She scored against Lithuania when they drew that game

2-2. Page against the Faroes 2-2 but lost against Latvia. That probably

tells you where they really are -- be true against the Faroes.

Lovely turn by Danielle Carter, if she looks left she could play Daniel

Stokes in. Jordan Nobbs! Chance for England denied. Dan Carter not only

scoring goals but she's creating them. It falls to Jordan Nobbs but

she just can't quite get any power on the shot straight at the

goalkeeper. Lovely pass. Always been a good

passer of the ball. Davison. In towards Danielle Carter. Didn't

stick straightaway. 732 minutes of European Championship

qualifying for Estonia without a goal.

The last poll in Euro qualifiers came in June 2012. -- last goal.

Vals switched away to the side since they brought on Kubassova. Gemma

Davison is going to depart the scene with Julie Flaherty coming on. What

do you make of that. They may push Lucy Bronze up, put Gilly Flaherty

in the position where Lucy is. Just wonder whether he's saving her for

Belgium. If England avoid feet, they win the group, that was the

intention all along. Bolton by far the best team they have played.

England should have beaten them at home, there was a ghastly mistake

from the goalkeeper. -- Belgium by far the best team they have played.

I think Lucy Bronze will be pushed off, because here comes the

substitution. It will be Gilly Flaherty to come on. She has played

in the last five internationals, the Chelsea defender. Double last

season. Replaces her clubmate. And Lucy Bronze has gone on to a more

attacking position. She will love that. Jordan Nobbs.

Jo Potter. Far too quick. Carney drops the shoulder and comes inside.

Lucy Bronze, has she scored since the World Cup finals? Can't think of

one. Perhaps she saves them for the occasions.

A satisfactory night for England. They roared into a 3-0 lead, Carter,

Scott, again Danielle Carter. They've had enough chances to

replicate the 7-0 against Serbia in the last home game.

The tall right back with a plaster on her forehead.

Stokes with the cross headed away by Kubassova. Jo Potter back in the

mix. That's a foul on Danielle Carter. Poor challenge by Sasova,

who has put herself about since coming on.

Two England players standing offside, in fact three of them in a

false wall to block the view of the goalkeeper. They will come back

onside, create lots of movement. Here they come. The keeper parried

it. They had to break into wider positions, if they were anywhere in

her sight line it would have been offside. Here is Jo Potter, and

still. The cross back across the goal, and sky over. Jo Potter trying

to get it on her left foot. Everybody wants to school, don't

they? That's the free kick, saved by the goalkeeper. Another change for

Estonia, Merily Toom is going to come on, replacing Eneli Vals. She

has played every game in qualifying, no, she has just missed one.

Danielle Carter. To get them into higher leagues,

they will certainly need higher fitness levels. Keith Boanas needs

his FA to back them properly. Also to help their development, gain

understanding. If Estonia don't have cash to do that, Uefa should be

helping them out. Well played by Danielle Carter. Just blocked by

Lepik. Might have been tagged as she started that run, the referee

allowed play on. I think she has done all right.

before last. It was last summer, wasn't it? It was. Crowd of 7052.

Stokes towards Carney. Walking pace now. Game won a long time ago. It's

how England control games. How England showed their hunger,

determination, professionalism, to the manager, that counts now. Squad

places up for grabs next summer. Carney with a step over, beautifully

done. Very nearly in. Jordan Nobbs. And over it goes on. Another very

good bit of play from England. Started with Carney, nice step over,

Jo Potter making a run from defence, lovely step over. Demi Stokes

doesn't just cross it in, but picks out the player. Couldn't quite get

the connection to finish. Some nice moves England have put together.

Realistically even if England to win the group, Sweden are above them in

the coefficients. If you fancy going out to the Netherlands and

supporting them, it's a little later than you may be used to. Starts on

the 16th of July, a month later than tournaments normally start, goes

until the 6th of August. Six minutes to go. Good atmosphere,

good old crowd. Ballplayers need to watch this sort

of dissent this year, if they go to the assistant referee and show any

visible dissent, they will be cautioned.

I think privately they will be pleased with the fact they kept

England to four. I think so, he's got to look at the previous game

when it was 8-0. And the fact that, yeah, they were 3-0 down really

early on. The fact that they've managed to keep it to four. They

cannot be happy with a loss, but the progression. Freak kit. Belgium beat

them at home 6-0 and away 5-0 -- free kick. England go to Belgium on

Tuesday night. One of the game you can follow right here. Last time I

came to this grant was the 1970s. The old Golden Goal ticket. I won. I

was travelling on the Bristol City first-team coach and the manager

said you better not tell anybody you'd won the Golden Goal, because

it was an own goal. I think it was 50 quid you won in those days. So

who is your money on four player of the match? It has to go to Dan

Carter. Scoring a hat-trick. Not just that, but overall performance.

She has not only scorn goals, she has been created. I think she's been

full of running, and I think well deserved. The team has played well

but I think she's been the standout player. Do you agree? Your choice. I

would never argue with you. In the closing stages, three minutes

to go and a little bit of stoppage time because of the substitutions,

the caution, goal celebrations. Carter has stayed offside.

Immediately as she passed the ball, Jade Moore knew she'd made a

mistake. Dan Carter had just made that run a little bit earlier. Jade

Moore couldn't quite feed the ball through. The initial tackle, that's

what we saw in Canada again and again. She does that burglary work

that doesn't always get recognised but is so effective. Flaherty.

Towards Danielle Carter you. He's away to safety in the and. Just

looking to get it away, Hindrimae. Carter read the line so well. Bronze

gives it back to her. Dispossessed. Jordan Nobbs has played ever so

well. Wouldn't come to Jade Moore. It's a corner. I would not say

Zlidnis could play in the German mix, but she could play at the

French level. She has done OK tonight. Playing in a different

league would help their development individually. The US league is

getting right up there now. One of the top leagues in the world.

Into the last-minute, overall job decently done. Just job done, I

think they've done exactly what they needed to do, score goals, move the

ball around quickly, created chances, probably could have scored

more but I think they'll be happy with that performance. Tried

something new with a new system and personnel, done well. Not all the

qualifiers have been so easy, they've left one or two quite late.

Good run by Stokes. In towards Carney.

Carter! Ooh, it would have been goal of the night. She's absolutely

flying in confidence, isn't she? Scoring three goals. That's a lovely

technique. Just couldn't get her head over it to keep it down. That

think the players, I don't think they'll mind me calling them fringe

players, Jo Potter's first appearance in 12 months, I think

they've done themselves the world of good. I totally agree. He's given

them an opportunity and they've taken it. It's not been difficult

for them but they've done what they had to do. Keeping them all on their

toes. Jordan Nobbs has been out of the side. Here she is with a lovely

run and a good take. Certainly think England have missed something since

Jill Scott has gone off. She has that energy, constantly pressing,

harrying, making things happen. When someone loses the ball, she is the

first to pick it back up. Conus over down the line, loses out. Jordan

Nobbs has had an excellent game. Clearing it away to another

team-mate. It's almost like a free touch game for her throughout the 90

minutes. She'll probably do it now. Lucy Bronze. Left footed cross. And

a penalty! They push on Karen Carney. She may well take it

herself. And a yellow card for Lepik. It's a good ball in for Lucy

Bronze. She does push her just as she is about to head the ball. It

wasn't Lepik who gave it away, it was Loo. It was. I think she was

just coming in around the back. Wrong player got booked. Definitely

a foul, those. Karen Carney will take it. This is for 30 goals for

her country, to seal a splendid night.

Carney keeps her composure. And tucks it in. An accomplished night

for England. Always expected to win against a vast and inferior

opposition. They've done their job, done it well. They've won 5-0. Easy

for Karen Carney, there. You can see she takes a little step. Just hit it

straight down the middle. Waited for the goalkeeper to move one way or

another. Well, Lepik will be unhappy with the

booking because it wasn't her, unless she protested too much.

Identical she did. Well, virtually the last kick of the game. One or

two of the Estonian players are in tears. They're learning curve will

need to rise more steeply than this. But for England it's about raising

the bar. That's what Mark Sampson does. Raising the standards of

fitness, technique, competent and performance. He'll be well pleased.

England with a hat-trick from Carter, goals from Jill Scott and

Karen Carney have wrapped this up. If they avoid defeat in Belgium they

win the group. They've won this 15-0. -- 5-0. England qualified

already of course, but they haven't yet won the group because Belgian

beat Serbia earlier on today. It will all come down to Tuesday's

match between the top two. England needing just a point to finish top

of the group. That game will be live on the BBC red button. Wales can't

qualify but they are 3-0 up at home to Israel. We don't have long

unfortunately, but your thoughts? The first half England were very

dominant, visit the ball around, using the width to their advantage.

Second-half Mark Sampson made quite a few changes and they were a little

more disjointed. Will they be disappointed, or will they feel it

is a job done? Definitely a professional job done, got the three

points. Already qualified. Could have been a better goal tally. I

don't think they were as ruthless in the second half as they were in the

first. The goal tally should have been a little higher. But still
