Mark Williams and Ronnie O'Sullivan now. Willie Thorne and Ken Doherty

Mark Williams has not beat and Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last ten

years. Incredible, the amount of times they have played each other.

and more at ease with himself. He has been working with that

psychologist Tony Peters and that may have helped. He seems to have

his appetite back for the game, which is always a good sign, we.

Very impressed with him in Germany when he was 4-nil behind against

Andrew Higginson. It shows what kind of performance that was to

come back and beat Andrew Higginson 5-4. He went on to win the

tournament. The prospect that he would not be in the world's top 16

is something I cannot believe. He needs to go a little bit more

but I do not think he has the angle. The ball's are bouncing and he has

left Mark Williams a chance. A little careless from Ronnie

back of it. Bouncing it of course widens the angle, but he needed it

to be played at pace as well, which made it even more difficult. Trying

straight for that. He has a bit of an angle, there. So both players

are at a half chance. Both players have not scored enough. He tried to

play that as a shot and leave the cue ball at this end off the table,

cushion. There is plenty of value in taking this. Ronnie can get

right or catch the jaws as he had expected. It has rolled far enough

past the middle. It is not easy from this red. He does not want to

double. He was obviously more concerned about getting a cue ball,

and that is perfection as well. He has to be careful of the pace here.

Does this red go into this bottom left-hand corner pocket? It is very

reds stick to the cushions, so if he plays it slow, it is a certainty.

The only way he could miss it is to play it at pace. 22 points ahead,

so he will need the yellow and the green. It was not so much that shot,

it was the previous black. Completely the wrong angle on the

green to have any chance of getting on the brown. So he may just play

needs to hit it full ball, because if he does not he will push it

shot from Ronnie. He did not want to touch those reds, but wanted to

get into the gap of them. He has to hit it to the high side and he has

week missing a lot of shots into the middle pocket on the near side

because the balls seemed to fall. But he judged it very well. That

was a great shot. A bit of pressure Too far for the pink. OK on the

blue. Has he gone too far for this pink into the left centre? It is

very tight. He just help defend with a bit of left-hand side.
