Welcome to the extra coverage from the betfred.com championships at

the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. The featured match tonight is the

opening session of the first round match between former world

champions. Graeme Dott won in 2006 and Peter Ebdon in 2002 after an

epic final against Stephen Hendry, winning 18-17. We join it in the

opening frame. In commentary, opening frame. In commentary,

These shots can make you look silly. If you can get close you can get

back to baulk but if you make a mistake you can just crashed into

look at the gap. This is one of those with the way that Peter has

been buying, it is a tight percentage to get it right. -- has

take the red that is on the blue spot. He's going to have to do

something. It is low that the pickled, the swerve, because there

is plenty of distance between cue ball and rig, but he only needs

some sort of contract on the red to pot it. -- cue ball and red, but

needs some sort of contact. I don't think it is that difficult, really,

because there is quite a lot of distance. Because Peter is not so

confident at the moment, he has got to take the red on. It is a swerve

that he will get without a problem but he needs to hit it half ball

and he's worried about hitting it full ball. He could try hitting the

cushion first. It is amazing, at the Crucible, everything looks

difficult. This offer you play this were, the more swerve you get on

There is a bit of pressure on Graeme Dott, having to come off two

the yellow, and it was enough to slow the weight down and police it

behind the pink. Peter Ebdon is looking at the commentary box and
