Hello. Good evening. One of the UK's stories on the BBC News Channel. | :00:00. | :00:17.
Hello. Good evening. One of the UK's main underground oil pipes has been | :00:18. | :00:20.
shut down as Hampshire Police investigate whether tens of | :00:21. | :00:22.
thousands of litres of fuel have been extracted from it. Police were | :00:23. | :00:26.
called to the scene at West Wellow on Thursday after a large quantity | :00:27. | :00:30.
of fuel was found in an industrial storage unit. Two men from Salisbury | :00:31. | :00:35.
are being held in custody tonight. It's understood detectives are | :00:36. | :00:37.
investigating whether the fuel was extracted from a pipeline running | :00:38. | :00:44.
from the Esso refinery at Fawley. An East Hampshire man has brought a | :00:45. | :00:48.
war memorial to life by delving into the backgrounds of those recorded | :00:49. | :00:51.
there. John Hill has spent more than a year researching over 50 | :00:52. | :00:53.
individuals whose names appear on the Grayshott War Memorial. | :00:54. | :00:59.
Behind every name on this memorial there was a life, there is a story. | :01:00. | :01:07.
This is the man who is responsible for allowing each of those stories | :01:08. | :01:12.
to be told. They say there is a book in everyone and retired solicitor | :01:13. | :01:16.
John Hill felt this was his. It has been a labour of love. It has been | :01:17. | :01:19.
hard work but absolutely fascinating. Very interesting | :01:20. | :01:22.
finding out the stories of these people who died, so much so I feel I | :01:23. | :01:29.
know a lot of them personally. We Will Remember You delves into the | :01:30. | :01:32.
past of 51 men spanning both world wars and the Falklands campaign. The | :01:33. | :01:37.
last name in the book Lieutenant Commander David Balfour. He was on | :01:38. | :01:45.
the HMS Sheffield. He fought in this campaign. 20 people died when it was | :01:46. | :01:48.
hit by a missile. His body has never been recovered. By bringing to life | :01:49. | :01:56.
the memory of those names on the stone it's hoped the book will | :01:57. | :01:59.
provide a more tangible memorial to those men who made the ultimate | :02:00. | :02:06.
sacrifice serving their country. As part of the Queen's birthday | :02:07. | :02:08.
celebrations, Awards for Enterprise have been announced. This year, | :02:09. | :02:11.
recognition has gone to an Oxford company that's helped provide clean | :02:12. | :02:14.
water to millions of people in Africa. | :02:15. | :02:21.
In Kenya, the cleanliness of water can be the difference between life | :02:22. | :02:25.
and death. ClimateCare in Oxford have developed a simple water | :02:26. | :02:27.
cleanser that's helped around five million people. We hope this will | :02:28. | :02:39.
help us to increase the impact and to develop more projects and | :02:40. | :02:43.
increase our impact on the environment. Some staff are based in | :02:44. | :02:50.
the Oxford office, others in Kenya. In days gone by that may have caused | :02:51. | :02:53.
communication issues but modern technology means all workers can | :02:54. | :02:57.
keep in touch. It is pretty easy. We are very used to Skype calls. We | :02:58. | :03:00.
have daily contact with the guys in Nairobi. Bosses believe they are | :03:01. | :03:05.
making a difference. ClimateCare's work improving air quality also | :03:06. | :03:13.
helped them win the award. Onto football, and it's getting | :03:14. | :03:19.
tense for our Championship teams. Promotion chasing Brighton Hove | :03:20. | :03:22.
Albion are in the last of the promotion play`off places after a | :03:23. | :03:25.
1`1 draw against Blackpool. Bournemouth's hopes of reaching the | :03:26. | :03:28.
play`offs have all but faded after a 2`2 draw with Ipswich. Reading, who | :03:29. | :03:31.
can still make the play`offs, have a crucial match against Middlesbrough | :03:32. | :03:34.
tomorrow. In League One, MK Dons stay in tenth spot after a 2`2 draw | :03:35. | :03:37.
against Brentford. Swindon kept their slim hopes of a promotion | :03:38. | :03:40.
play`off place alive with a 1`1 win over Bradford. `` 1`0 win. | :03:41. | :03:49.
Portsmouth's renaissance under new manager Andy Awford continues. They | :03:50. | :03:52.
beat Northampton to move into 13th place and also secure their place in | :03:53. | :03:55.
League Two. Meanwhile, Oxford United are in eighth place after losing 1`0 | :03:56. | :03:56.
at Scunthorpe. It will be fairly unsettled over the | :03:57. | :04:09.
next few days with the possibility of thunderstorms tonight. There will | :04:10. | :04:13.
be some showers last thing for much of the night which could be heavy. | :04:14. | :04:18.
Those could merge into longer spells of rain but it will be frost free. | :04:19. | :04:24.
We are looking at those showers continuing tomorrow on and off, more | :04:25. | :04:28.
likely to be more frequent during the morning, so few and far between | :04:29. | :04:33.
during the afternoon with the showers drifting northwards. These | :04:34. | :04:39.
could be heavy and thundery like today, but temperatures will reach | :04:40. | :04:47.
14, possibly 15 Celsius. Today we've each 18 or 19 degrees, so | :04:48. | :04:52.
temperatures not as high. There will be some sunshine during the | :04:53. | :04:56.
afternoon. The rest of the week is fairly unsettled with rain at times. | :04:57. | :04:59.
Showers moving through on Wednesday. After last year's called Easter we | :05:00. | :05:15.
managed the warmest day of the | :05:16. | :05:16. |
