Good evening.

Labour in Westminster need to "calm down" and concentrate on holding

the Conservative government to account.

That's what the party's spokesperson in the House of Lords,

Baroness Eluned Morgan, has told BBC Wales.

Speaking on Sunday Politics Wales she said that arguments around

Jeremy Corbyn's Shadow Cabinet reshuffle were "distracting"

from Labours' attempts to win support in May's Welsh Assembly

elections.

Here's our Political Correspondent, Arwyn Jones.

He became Labour leader with a huge majority last year but ever since,

Jeremy Corbyn has struggled to keep his MPs onside.

Last week, three of the party's spokesmen quit after Mr Corbyn

reshuffled his Shadow Cabinet.

Today, the woman who speaks on Wales for the party in the Lords said

cooler heads are needed.

My message would be, everybody calm down a bit and let's

focus our opposition on the Tories, not internally.

Baroness Morgan has her sights on sitting in Cardiff Bay

as a candidate for May's Assembly elections.

The danger she says is that the infighting

in Westminster drowns out the party's message.

The key thing is to understand that Labour is in power in Wales,

we are able to affect change here and we have got

to focus on that.

Anything that is a distraction in Wales from that, we should try

and put to one side.

This academic thinks Labour will be making sure its leader in Wales,

Carwyn Jones, is centre stage during the Assembly elections.

What we will see over the next four to five months is Welsh Labour

trying to build a much clearer image of Carwyn Jones as the

leader of Welsh Labour.

Somebody different, somebody more credible than Jeremy Corbyn.

When Jeremy Corbyn visited Wales in November, Carwyn Jones called

for Labour MPs to stop the infighting but it fell

on deaf ears.

As May's election draws near, the call for unity is having to be

made once again.

A body found in Swansea marina has been formally identified

as 21-year-old Jordan Miers who went missing before Christmas,

following a night out.

Children s football coach Mr Miers was last seen on the 19th December

near the city centre.

Police divers, dogs and a helicopter searched a stretch of the River Tawe

following his disappearance.

A 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after a body

was found in a lane in Neath Port Talbot has been

released on bail.

The body of 46-year-old Kevin Barry Mahoney was found

in a lane in Briton Ferry last week.

An historic chapel in Swansea dating back almost 140 years has

held its final service.

The congregation of the Grade II listed Siloh Newydd Welsh Chapel has

dwindled from 600 to just six.

There are concerns now about the future of the building.

It has not been the best of days for Welsh football.

Swansea City are out of the FA Cup.

The Swans lost 3-2 away to League Two side Oxford United.

Cardiff City are also out.

They were beaten by League One strugglers Shrewsbury.

For Swansea City, Premier League survival is the priority,

but could a cup run help kick-start their season?

With important league matters ahead, Swansea made ten changes to the team

and the new look side went ahead.

Jefferson Montero was just magical.

But the Welsh side went on to surrender their lead.

First conceding a penalty and then this, Oxford's second goal.

Swansea looked second-best.

More than 50 league places separate the sides, but Oxford made it look

easy against the rusty Swansea defence, 3-1.

Bafetimbi Gomis pulled one back for the Swans,

but Oxford held on.

It's a year since Cardiff reverted from red to their traditional

colours and there was plenty of blue in the stadium -

mainly empty seats.

The second lowest football crowd here, just 4,700 witnessed a display

devoid of any passion.

This was one of only a few chances for the home side.

Shrewsbury arrived having conceded seven goals last week.

That nightmare soon faded when former Wrexham striker

Andy Mangan put the league one side ahead.

The home fans unhappy at full-time.

Another upset and a bleak day for Welsh clubs in the FA Cup.

Time for a quick look at the weather and tomorrow will be rather cold

with a mix of sunshine and scattered heavy showers.
