A UK wide online food ordering service is being investigated after

it received a ?1 million grant for the creation of 100 new jobs, some

of which were outsourced abroad. Payments to the company have been

a foothold in this growing market, but the company is the subject

of an enquiry after receiving financial support from

the Welsh government. Kukd offers a one-stop shop allowing

customers to order a takeaway or book a table online,

through an app, or website. The Welsh government decided

to support kukd with grant funding of ?2.75 million for

the creation of around 280 The company received

an initial ?1 million in 2015 The Welsh government

is investigating anonymous allegations that the ground

employees were laid off from the company and jobs
