Good evening. Those of you with the school run tomorrow, no scraping of

frost. Much milder start to tomorrow. The tradoff is none of

the sunshine of recent days, greyer and damper weather is heading our

way. Pushing into the north and west this evening. Temperatures

under neath the cloud nine or ten Celsius. The milder air in the

north and west will spill southwards and eastwards with it

outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The temperatures will rise. As we start

to bring in the milder air because the ground is cold it will turn

misty. Mucky start to the day across northern England. Lighter

and patchy rain further east. Eastern England will be on the

chilly side. Temperatures will rise quickly. 10 or 11 across western

England and Wales. Here it will be misty with hill fog, outbreaks of

rain or drizzle. Grey, wet start to Northern Ireland. Through a good

part of Scotland, temperatures in Scotland and Northern Ireland eight

to 11 degrees. This will be the mildest part of the day. As the

rain clears southwards the sunshine will return, a few showers, the

temperatures will drop. We are back into the colder air once again.

Colder air into northern England. Brightness to the east of high

ground across parts of central, southern England and Wales. 10 to

13 Celsius. The same split will be in place on Wednesday night into

Thursday, further cloud and outbreaks of rain. Colder further

north with showers developing. They will turn to snow across some parts

of Scotland. Hills and mountains significant snow to come. Rain in

the south will clear to sunnier conditions. North-westerly winds
