It could be a bit late in the day to be tripping around the garden

with a whole a cultural fleece, but it looks as though we're going to

be seeing the first proper frost of the autumn. -- horticultural. Under

clear skies, did just a dipping away. Northern areas seeing a

widespread frost by the end of the night. It will take longer for the

skies are clear across southern parts. Along the coast, we will

keep a bit of a breeze. Temperatures not falling as low

here. By the end the night, temperatures well down, even in

towns and cities. These numbers are more representative of rural areas.

You can see quite widespread frost across northern parts of the UK. It

will be a bit crisper to start the day on Saturday but it is going to

be a beautiful day to start the weekend. Lots of sunshine around,

virtually guaranteed to be dry everywhere. Through the afternoon,

we might see a bit more cloud beginning to spread in across

western parts. The temperatures do not look incredibly impressive. But

the wind is light. The September sunshine will still be relatively

strong and it will feel pleasant. Up to 16 or 17 across southern

parts of England. Across the south, you will find the wind beginning to

freshen a touch through the afternoon. Cloud beginning to

thicken. That is because if we zoom out, things are stirring down to

the south-west. We had been talking about his potential development for

a few days. There was a lot of uncertainty attached to it and that

uncertainty is reducing. We are confident we will see a low pushing

up from the south and bringing an increasingly wet day to southern

parts for Sunday. Southern England, probably Wales and the Midlands,

turning wet through the day. Further north, you get one more

fine day after a rather chilly start. To put at around 12 or 13.

To sum up, Saturday is lovely, guaranteed dry and bright

everywhere. Sunday, increasingly everywhere. Sunday, increasingly
