There is some blame in this forecast but not delivering the same severe

impact we have seen recently. We also serve -- have some heat but

nowhere near by. In the short-term it is about showers on the ice that

follows. The showers moving east with snow over the hills of North

Wales and they shall linger longest overnight across eastern areas and

might merge to give a longer spell of heavy rain in the far South East.

Temperatures are all important. In the countryside by morning, several

degrees below freezing so the risk of some ice with that wet ground

freezing and some patches of fog that could... Much of the ice will

cover the UK and some showers affecting north-east Scotland and

North East England to begin the day. It will take a while for those to

clear but elsewhere, most of us will have cold and rather icy weather.

The cloud should prevent the ice forming in South East England with

some spits around as the day begins. That should clear the way and it

will eventually brighten up the lunchtime, the last of that rain in

north-east Scotland and foremost it is a dry, bright day but in the

afternoon turning wetter and windy in Northern Ireland. And knocking on

the door of western areas. After that call started as a chilly day

and this weather front tomorrow evening will bump into the cold

air, producing spells of snow over northern England but behind that,

milder air moves in, the snow turns to rain and plenty of mist and

plenty of mist until Hill followed by Wednesday morning. Not much rain

in southern England but the grind water and rivers will be sensitive

to further rainfall and there shall be this ragged area of showery rain

on Wednesday. For the rest of the week, this area of low pressure

stays close by. This will be driving in further showers to western and

southern areas in particular but the shall also be some sunshine around

and temperatures close to normal for the time of year. No severe winter

cold. Down Under, the height of summer in Australia and extreme heat

to be found in Melbourne, close to 40 Celsius for the rest of the week.

You would not want to play tennis in that Andy Murray will be doing just

that. We shall have to wait for the weekend before it cools down. Our

summer is a long way off,
