afternoon. The weekend will be warm and humid, with heavy and under in

showers. Today has been the quietest weather

day of this week. We had 24 Celsius in Carlisle in the sunshine. It did

struggle on the North Sea coast with the wind, but you can see two

weather fronts advancing in under the mass of cloud. Our window for

fine weather will diminish overnight stop it has been windy. North Sea

Gales, and that wind continues overnight. Patchy rain for Northern

Ireland, but under the clear skies, still scope for single figures in

the countryside. A bit of mist and fog as well in the Scottish glens.

But for many central and eastern areas, distinctly more cloud than

today. Similarly so in the north and west. It will bring drizzly showers

to parts of south-west England, particularly Cornwall. The further

east you are, the better chance you have of staying warm and dry. More

cloud for Northern Ireland compared with today. At the other sharp burst

of rain here. Western parts of Scotland or enjoying some sunshine,

but for Aberdeenshire and those areas, it will be cool and damp

along the north-east of England Later in the day, some of the

wettest weather will come into eastern England. It will not fear as

warm, and we have the cloud and rain overhead. Overnight, the weather

system is is a little further westwards, but behind it, it will

bring in more humid air. That will a small energy in the atmosphere,

which will fuel some showers and thunderstorms into Friday. So rather

grey on Friday. As it brightens we could see some sharp showers. The

West may be best for the sunshine, mother but temperatures lived with

the humid air coming in. On Saturday, some big storms and

showers around. In the north-west, more persistent rain on a weather

front coming in. Sunday looks again as if we could have some nasty

downpours through the day. Torrential, heavy and thundery

showers because of the warmth and humidity at this time of year. It
