MPs would want to Plenty to talk about by day and by

night. The mornings are distinctly chilly. A lot of clear sky out there

today on the satellite picture, a bit of fair weather cloud. The

thicker, rain-bearing cloud is still kept well at bay. There seems to be

some sort of force field keeping that thicker cloud away from the UK.

That is provided by a block of high pressure and these blocks take some

shifting. For the time being, the wetter weather will be kept at bay.

A largely dry outlook. Some subtle variations from day-to-day and from

night to night. Tonight, a bit more cloud pushing in across parts of the

South East. For most of us, clear and patches of fog will form across

parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. Distinctly chilly as well.

So, it will be a fresh old start to the day. We will have those patches

of fog to get rid of. This cloud will spread further west. Basically,

a dry day. Sunny skies further west. If you are going to the Tour of

Britain, the good news is it will stay dry.

Some sunshine across Wales and western England. There will be more

cloud than today further east. Again, it should stay dry and that

cloud could thin at times to reveal some brightness. Temperatures a

notch or two down on today. Plenty of sunshine further north and west.

Once the fog has lifted, it should be fine. Pleasantly warm, too. A bit

more cloud at times across the North East of Scotland. On into Friday, a

dry day. A bit more cloud for some, less cloud for others. A bit of a

breeze turning up across some southern counties. In the sunshine,

it should feel very pleasant. On into the weekend, mostly dry. It

will be cloudier at times, hopefully some sunshine where you are. It will

start to turn breezy across the southern parts of the UK.
