particularly as we head into Monday. A much calmer day today after the

nasty storm yesterday. Let's look at your pictures, tranquil from

Hampshire, on the edge of the new Forest. Nice cumulus clouds from

things are going downhill again. After this day, where we had the

sunshine, it looks like weather systems are marching through again.

It means this weekend there will be some rain around. Most of it will be

light. Some of it will be heavy. It will be blustery once again. Nothing

like we have had, but windy enough. It will be on the mild side. The

mild south-westerly is already setting in. We've had rain across

the North. Most of it is patchy and broken up across the UK. The

heaviest will be continuing to fall across perhaps western Scotland,

north-western areas of England, further south a little bit lighter,

probably drizzle more than anything. Very mild, nine Celsius. The winds

tomorrow picking up. They are normally here in the winter. Gales

around coasts and the hills. This is what it looks like around the south

around lunchtime, so it's around 9 degrees, blustery on the channel

coast, very blustery around the coasts of Wales and the Irish Sea.

Spots of rain around. The heaviest of the rain will be around

Lancashire and Cumbria. This is an area that could fetch a lot of

rainfall by the time we are through the weekend. The rain will wax and

wane. There will be a fair bit of it. By the end of the late places

like Scotland and Northern Ireland may end up with a bit of sunshine,

maybe too late because the sun will be down not long after that. To the

south of that stays grey through most of Saturday. Saturday, not an

awful lot of sunshine. There will be a little window, a tiny window of

better weather, between weather fronts early on Sunday. It may last

into the afternoon. That's mostly across the eastern and central

areas. Along the south coast as well. It's not a right of the
