Hello, before we take a look at the
weekend weather prospects, I want to | 0:00:08 | 0:00:13
show you some things about November.
Sunshine totals, many more of us had | 0:00:13 | 0:00:18
more than we would expect at this
time of year. That does not equate | 0:00:18 | 0:00:22
to a heat wave at this time of year,
of course it does not. Below par. | 0:00:22 | 0:00:28
And and Northern Ireland. And you
will know we have had the early | 0:00:28 | 0:00:34
taste of winter, this is the scene
widely across Northern and eastern | 0:00:34 | 0:00:37
parts of the British Isles. But some
signs of a change, almost as a | 0:00:37 | 0:00:42
speak. We have got the colder in
place across the greater part of the | 0:00:42 | 0:00:48
British Isles and signs of that
changing in the north-western | 0:00:48 | 0:00:52
quarter. Overnight, a supply of
showers through the West of Wales | 0:00:52 | 0:00:56
and south-west of England, another
stream on the eastern side of Kent | 0:00:56 | 0:01:00
and bits and pieces elsewhere as the
cloud fills them and that will help | 0:01:00 | 0:01:03
to keep most of us frost free for
the new day. Through Saturday, | 0:01:03 | 0:01:10
slowly, very slowly, we begin to
bring in more of that mild air from | 0:01:10 | 0:01:14
the Atlantic but it does not quite
get into that south-eastern quarter. | 0:01:14 | 0:01:18
You will see what a difference that
makes to the temperatures. Not as | 0:01:18 | 0:01:22
bright a start. Dell and Western
parts as you enjoy it in recent | 0:01:22 | 0:01:26
days. Enough cloud for showers
through Western parts. Further | 0:01:26 | 0:01:32
North, a weather front. That
produces significant rain across the | 0:01:32 | 0:01:35
higher ground north-western
Scotland. Shy of the central belt. | 0:01:35 | 0:01:42
Temperatures up to 10 degrees
possibly. Northern Ireland, and of | 0:01:42 | 0:01:46
card for a passing shower. Through
Wales, and the Western side of Wales | 0:01:46 | 0:01:50
into the south-west, still that
supply of showers. But despite the | 0:01:50 | 0:01:55
brightness, five, 6 degrees across
that south-eastern quarter. So not | 0:01:55 | 0:01:59
quite dragging the milder across all
parts yet. Overnight, the weather | 0:01:59 | 0:02:05
front makes its way to the Northern
parts of the British Isles. On | 0:02:05 | 0:02:10
Sunday morning, it is that feature
across the south-eastern quarter. | 0:02:10 | 0:02:12
You have to be early to see the rain
but the cloud will be left behind. A | 0:02:12 | 0:02:18
bright start and a bright day in the
North but temperatures a bit down, | 0:02:18 | 0:02:22
but on the up in the South. So we
complete that journey towards milder | 0:02:22 | 0:02:27
conditions and that is how we | 0:02:27 | 0:02:28 |
