Good evening, the weather looks

fairly quiet and the nine over the

next few days but be warned, cloud

amounts will vary. There was some

sunshine in Brighton earlier but

enough cloud to give this glorious

sunset but not much of that in

Stirling weather cloud was sick and

low and there was missed and

drizzle. I had this weather front

pushing in from the Atlantic which

will bring some patchy rain and the

wind is coming from the South West

which will bring mild and moist air

and that will make its presence felt

in the form of low cloud and missed

in western areas particularly

through the night with the odd bit

of fog elsewhere and is patchy rain

moving into Scotland and northern

England and Northern Ireland. A

range of temperatures, clear skies

for any amount of time and it could

dip to 2 degrees but more like 11

out west with the thicker cloud.

Tomorrow, the weather front moves

slowly southwards, just some patchy

rain with it and to the south of it,

largely dry and cloudy but to the

north there is the best chance of

some sunshine in Northern Ireland

and Scotland. Some showers in the

far North where it will be breezy

and temperatures a bit down on

today. This is the weather front

Ruby into northern England and North

Midlands and Wales, some patchy rain

with it -- moving into. Lastly dry

in the South, mostly grey skies and

temperatures of ten or 12 degrees.

On Thursday, that weather front

moving southwards now stops to move

northwards again, not much rain but

a lot of cloud and missed, the best

chance of brightness in the far

north-east but also the lowest

temperatures and the mildest air in

the south-west. Going into Friday,

the system is trying to have an

influence on the weather but this

gets squeezed out by this area of

high pressure trying to settle

things down for the end of the week.

That will leave us with a lot of

cloud and perhaps fog in the

north-east to start the day and as

it clears that is where we will have

the best sunshine, more cloud in the

south-west again and the mildest

weather. In the run-up to Christmas,

generally it will remain mild, often

cloudy, a lot of dry weather but

some rain in the north. Generally
