Good evening. Storm Eleanor is now

clearing away. But there the weather

will turn much quieter over the next

few days it is still quite windy,

particularly in the south. Here is

the scene of the Sun said earlier in

the day in Stevenage. We have some

squalling showers crossing from west

to east across England and Wales. In

the north of the country are

slow-moving band of rain and hill

snow will sit across the north-east

of England, Central and eastern

Scotland. We could see a frost quite

widely across Scotland and Northern

Ireland. The odd mist and fog patch

first thing Friday morning. Still

windy in the south. The gusts will

ease through the day. The

reappearance of some sunshine in the

south of England, perhaps towards

the north-west of England and

Ireland as well but still showers

making their way from west to east

across England and Wales, some on

the heavy side. The rain lingering

across Scotland into the north-east

of England. On Friday night the wins

will turn to a more northerly

direction, importing colder air in.

Quite a widespread frost to start

the weekend. Further south is a

little cloud, some mist and fog

around. Temperatures will fall on

Saturday into Sunday. The wins will

come in from the north and the East

as high pressure built. The cold air

will bring more sunshine across

Scotland, northern England and

Northern Ireland. Further south, we

have remnants of a friend. Still

outbreaks of rain and fairly cloudy.

while. Temperatures down to -4, -5

as we move into the early hours of

Sunday morning. At chilly and frosty

start to Sunday. There will be

lighter winds and more sunshine and

looks like a fine, fairly cold,

wintry day. After the frosty start,

the mist and fog will clear away.
