Reasonable temperatures getting back

into double figures.

The beast from the East might have

departed but in its place and angry

hamster. Others had fine sunshine

today that across the northern hills

of Scotland, again it was a snow

day. More of the same to come as

well over the next 24 hours. On the

big picture, the jet is still

displaced a long way to the south

and what that means is there is

bands of rain moving across England,

Wales and Northern Ireland and over

the higher ground in Scotland we are

seeing that turned to snow. More

wintry weather to come to some of

cause problems because the rain will

be heavy and combined with snowmelt,

we could see some localised surface

water flooding. A few showers and

western areas, the weather quite

quiet elsewhere, with some sunny

spells it will feel quite pleasant

Edinburgh. On Thursday, fairly quiet

weather for most of us. The winds

north-westerly direction. Cloud and

rain never too far away from the

south coast. Temperatures between

6-9dC. As we look at the forecast

towards the end of the week on the

weekend, I think generally be more

than half of the UK will see
