In the next hour, a man from Torquay, who was shot in the head

during a robbery at his parents' restaurant in Antigua,

37-year-old Christopher Tester was wounded in the attack

on Christmas Day whilst trying to protect his mother.

The Learjet he is being flown home on is due to land at Exeter.

When the Learjet lands at Exeter Airport in just

over an hour's time, a family friend has told us that

instead due to logistical reasons, but that decision will

Two brand new villages are to be built in Devon and Cornwall in plans

which have been signed off by the government today.

The so-called Garden Villages are proposals to tackle a housing

shortage, with Taunton also set to see its community expand.

5,000 homes next to the M5 at Cullompton, and 8,000 homes
