40 points, and finished 17th out of 26. Not that it dampened her

family's spirits. It was grdat. I mean, obviously we're a bit

disappointed but we've all enjoyed it thoroughly, it's been a great

night. Two great nights. Back home in Rothley, support for

Molly has been as strong as ever. Particularly at the pub where she

used to work. I thought Molly did absolutely fantastically well, I

mean there was a couple of people here I think with lumps in their

throat watching her. I don't think she could have done any better, she

did us really proud. I think with the scoring people were probably a

little bit disappointed, but probably not surprised given the

Eurovision voting in the past. I would have had my money on her to

win. I thought she was superb. She was really good, she should have

won. There was lots of mad stuff, but she wasn't mad enough and.. She

was just nice, you know. And did what we usually do which is come

two`thirds of the way down. In true Eurovision style, the

competition was eventually won by a bearded drag queen from Austria. So,

as Eurovision fever subsides, excitement is building again for

Molly, as she gets ready to fulfil a lifelong dream of performing at

Glastonbury next month. The police are appealing for help

Film fans in the East Midlands were given a rare treat this weekend with

an appearance from British `cting royalty. The Derbyshire`born actor

John Hurt was at the Derby PUAD to take part in the city's Film

Festival. He spoke to our rdporter Navtej Johal.

John, it's a pleasure to medt you. Tell me, why is the Derby Film

Film Festival's massively important. One, because you're going to see

films that you wouldn't normally see, secondly because it me`ns

out of the question. People didn't make a livings out of what they
