It's almost 6:30, you're watching East Midlands Today. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Tonight: reaching to the stars to boost Leicestershire's economy. | :00:00. | :00:27.
Five men are guilty of staging road collisions to collect insurance. A | :00:28. | :00:36.
partial U-turn by health chiefs have plans to move some services out of | :00:37. | :00:42.
hospital. And the colour-coded headgear helping to keep newborn | :00:43. | :00:47.
babies out of intensive care. It is a basic idea but it works. If we | :00:48. | :00:52.
help them keep warm, they can use every bit of energy they have two | :00:53. | :00:56.
grown and to thrive. Good evening, welcome | :00:57. | :01:04.
to Monday's programme with Maurice Flynn and me, | :01:05. | :01:06.
Dominic Heale. First tonight, five men have been | :01:07. | :01:08.
been found guilty of involvement in a scam which involved | :01:09. | :01:12.
deliberately crashing cars, part of an insurance racket | :01:13. | :01:15.
dubbed 'crash for cash'. The men staged dozens of road | :01:16. | :01:19.
collisions between 2011 and 2013 across Derby and Derbyshire, | :01:20. | :01:23.
between them making hundreds of thousands | :01:24. | :01:26.
of pounds in the process. Today's verdicts followed | :01:27. | :01:29.
a five-week trial at Nottingham Crown Court, | :01:30. | :01:32.
as Giles Taylor reports. Trying to hide their faces, these | :01:33. | :01:36.
five men today finally had to face They were part of a so-called | :01:37. | :01:40.
crash for cash scam, deliberately causing collisions | :01:41. | :01:45.
to make fraudulent claims for injuries received and damage | :01:46. | :01:48.
caused to the vehicles. In total, they staged 41 crashes | :01:49. | :01:52.
across Derby and Derbyshire, targeting older and | :01:53. | :01:56.
lone women drivers. One of the most common schemes | :01:57. | :01:59.
was to have two cars driven by the scammers ahead | :02:00. | :02:02.
of a target car. The lead car would swerve suddenly, | :02:03. | :02:04.
causing the second to brake hard, the target car behind | :02:05. | :02:07.
would crash into the back of the That innocent third | :02:08. | :02:12.
party would always admit liability if they had driven | :02:13. | :02:16.
into the back of the second car. Ten of the 41 crashes | :02:17. | :02:21.
took place here. The scammers also used stolen | :02:22. | :02:25.
or fake identities as part of their The claims were then managed | :02:26. | :02:28.
by one of two companies One of them was Derby | :02:29. | :02:33.
Enterprise Solutions. The director's brother | :02:34. | :02:39.
was the secretary, the two men and their accomplice were all found | :02:40. | :02:42.
guilty of conspiracy to defraud. Another man, seen here | :02:43. | :02:47.
in the green coat, was His brother in the black coat | :02:48. | :02:51.
was found not guilty. Meanwhile, Adam Stark | :02:52. | :02:56.
from Long Eaton was found guilty of fraud as well as perverting | :02:57. | :02:58.
the course of justice. And seven other people had already | :02:59. | :03:02.
pleaded guilty to their part In a statement today, | :03:03. | :03:05.
Derbyshire police has set it hopes this trial sends out the clear | :03:06. | :03:09.
message that this type of crime will be treated seriously, investigated | :03:10. | :03:12.
thoroughly and will not The five men found guilty have been | :03:13. | :03:15.
released on bail but will be back in court | :03:16. | :03:20.
in April for sentencing. Still to come - wanted: | :03:21. | :03:27.
cleaners who care. Nottingham's hospitals are looking | :03:28. | :03:31.
for dozens of new workers, but the job spec goes far | :03:32. | :03:34.
beyond just wielding a mop. Next though, looking | :03:35. | :03:44.
to the stars to create new jobs. A new Enterprise Zone | :03:45. | :03:48.
is being established in Leicestershire partly aimed | :03:49. | :03:50.
at supporting the UK's growing The zone, the second in the county, | :03:51. | :03:53.
will be based across three sites in Loughborough and Leicester | :03:54. | :04:00.
and could lead to thousands With its National space Centre, J | :04:01. | :04:16.
has no stranger to the interstellar. This may be enter into the death | :04:17. | :04:19.
Star ship enterprise. It may look a bit | :04:20. | :04:21.
barren at the moment. Another part of it will be focused | :04:22. | :04:33.
on charting campers focusing on biomedicine. If the lobby your | :04:34. | :04:39.
letters waterside funny space park, specialising in space research. The | :04:40. | :04:43.
minister responsible for promoting the Midlands engine cut up with | :04:44. | :04:47.
companies which intend to expand into the enterprise zone. Enterprise | :04:48. | :04:50.
zone is an extremely important part of our strategy. | :04:51. | :04:53.
The eight enterprise zones across the Midlands have so far | :04:54. | :04:55.
created 9,000 jobs and brought in over ?1 million of | :04:56. | :04:57.
Just up the road in Leicestershire, the Mira technology park, | :04:58. | :05:03.
there were companies from around the world who come to base | :05:04. | :05:06.
themselves on that technology park, and that is exactly what we want | :05:07. | :05:09.
to achieve here on this side as well. | :05:10. | :05:16.
The new enterprise zone promises much. 6500 jobs in ten years, rising | :05:17. | :05:26.
to 21,000 editors the local economy over 25 years. Messages first | :05:27. | :05:29.
enterprise zone open about five years ago near Hinckley. The photos | :05:30. | :05:35.
of technology Park has attracted many companies and created many | :05:36. | :05:42.
jobs. It is the busiest one so far in the country. This has the | :05:43. | :05:45.
potential to do even better because of its location by the M1 and 5000 | :05:46. | :05:50.
houses across the road. The new enterprise zone can't come soon | :05:51. | :05:55.
enough, the universities innovation Centre is already 90% full. | :05:56. | :05:59.
Nick Pulley is Chair of the Leicester and Loughborough | :06:00. | :06:01.
What will this mean for Leicestershire's economy | :06:02. | :06:05.
It is good news for Leicester and Leicestershire, it gives us another | :06:06. | :06:16.
great enterprise zone limit the one we have. That will give us for | :06:17. | :06:19.
world-class sites to attract employers and investment around | :06:20. | :06:24.
innovation and advanced engineering and manufacturing. | :06:25. | :06:25.
These are big plans, how can you guarantee | :06:26. | :06:28.
that we will see these jobs being created? | :06:29. | :06:34.
This is such thing as a guarantee. We will look towards the success of | :06:35. | :06:42.
the previous site, since 2012 when it was designated as an enterprise | :06:43. | :06:45.
zone, we've seen 30 the new tenants on site map and something in excess | :06:46. | :06:52.
of five hundred jobs created there. It is known internationally as a | :06:53. | :06:56.
focused automotive technology research Blake. | :06:57. | :06:59.
Do you share Nick Rushton's view that this new zone has more | :07:00. | :07:01.
Rushton's view that this new zone has more potential | :07:02. | :07:04.
Potentially so, we're the site and it compliments. We have life | :07:05. | :07:14.
sciences, space, and vows manufacturing and engineering, and | :07:15. | :07:17.
you've got to look at the success around those sites already, I think | :07:18. | :07:19.
we can draw our conclusions. How soon will we see | :07:20. | :07:20.
things happening? It's taken about five years to get | :07:21. | :07:28.
some momentum behind it, I think there is already some fantastic | :07:29. | :07:34.
businesses on site, and also at Loughborough University. Businesses | :07:35. | :07:38.
like this tend to cluster together and been bought off each other, so I | :07:39. | :07:41.
think we should see some good news pretty soon. | :07:42. | :07:42.
Tributes have been paid to a 22-year-old man killed | :07:43. | :07:45.
Lauric Lebato, from London, was found with a stab wound | :07:46. | :07:49.
in Albion Street early on Saturday morning, but died in hospital. | :07:50. | :07:53.
Lauric's father said today he was "the centre" of his life | :07:54. | :07:56.
and has urged anyone with information to contact police. | :07:57. | :08:01.
People across the East Midlands are being urged to take part | :08:02. | :08:04.
in the consultation over the future of children's heart | :08:05. | :08:06.
NHS England has recommended an end to surgery at Glenfield, | :08:07. | :08:12.
as part of a review of services across the country. | :08:13. | :08:15.
A consultation was launched on Thursday. | :08:16. | :08:18.
The Chief Executive of Leicester's hospitals, John Adler, | :08:19. | :08:20.
says it's important that people here take part. | :08:21. | :08:25.
Police in Nottinghamshire are linking up with the county's | :08:26. | :08:27.
National Holocaust Centre to try to tackle modern hate crime. | :08:28. | :08:31.
The force says it hopes the partnership will challenge | :08:32. | :08:33.
people's thinking and prevent incidents. | :08:34. | :08:36.
The centre will screen videos and hold discussion sessions. | :08:37. | :08:39.
Two weeks ago Nottinghamshire's Police and Crime Commissioner warned | :08:40. | :08:42.
the number of hate crime cases could rise, in response | :08:43. | :08:46.
Health bosses are pushing ahead with controversial plans to transfer | :08:47. | :08:54.
five hospital based services into the community. | :08:55. | :08:59.
But they have done something of a U-turn when it comes to two others. | :09:00. | :09:02.
The latest decision's to plough on with most | :09:03. | :09:05.
It follows some fierce criticism from patients in Nottingham. | :09:06. | :09:10.
But tonight NHS managers insist they need to get a move on. | :09:11. | :09:14.
Our health correspondent Rob Sissons has more. | :09:15. | :09:17.
Managing change is never easy in the NHS. | :09:18. | :09:20.
One of the buzz phrases is "moving care closer to home ". | :09:21. | :09:25.
In Nottingham the original plan was to move all these services seven | :09:26. | :09:30.
of them out of Nottingham's main hospitals into the community | :09:31. | :09:33.
The services range from one for chronic fatigue | :09:34. | :09:38.
The Brain injury service and the management of renal patients | :09:39. | :09:49.
The people behind the change say it'll mean better care. | :09:50. | :09:56.
We've really been able to listen to the feedback we've received | :09:57. | :09:59.
and that has allowed us to change the | :10:00. | :10:01.
specifications, so we are really confident | :10:02. | :10:04.
that these will be the | :10:05. | :10:05.
real best services meeting patients needs. | :10:06. | :10:08.
This campaigner is really happy that the brain injury service isn't | :10:09. | :10:11.
Heather is 24 and suffered a brain injury after losing | :10:12. | :10:16.
At home in West Bridgeford today, she told us she is | :10:17. | :10:20.
glad that when it comes to her service, the clinical commissioning | :10:21. | :10:23.
I think it will be good for everyone, whether they | :10:24. | :10:31.
are outpatients or the future ones, or the staff. | :10:32. | :10:35.
It will just all remain in one place, that will be | :10:36. | :10:38.
Other patients, though, are not happy. | :10:39. | :10:40.
Gilly in Blidworth is furious the pain management service | :10:41. | :10:42.
We're told the changes will save ?2 million pounds | :10:43. | :10:46.
on today's prices, but the main motivation isn't savings | :10:47. | :10:50.
The commissioners will go before Nottinghamshire's health scrutiny | :10:51. | :10:57.
committee next month to argue their case, | :10:58. | :11:00.
but for now the changes are on track to come in July. | :11:01. | :11:04.
But expect more arguments before then. | :11:05. | :11:09.
Still to come - in sport, troubled times at the King Power. | :11:10. | :11:12.
Today's back pages make grim reading for the Foxes and their fans. | :11:13. | :11:23.
Also, the new traffic light system of Hat so midwives know just what | :11:24. | :11:26.
care these newborn babies need. How closely do you check your | :11:27. | :11:39.
supermarket receipts? A BBC Inside Out investigation has | :11:40. | :11:41.
discovered overcharging at some Tesco supermarkets in the East | :11:42. | :11:45.
Midlands. The chain has promised | :11:46. | :11:48.
to check its prices much more carefully across the country, | :11:49. | :11:50.
after an undercover reporter gathered evidence proving customers | :11:51. | :11:54.
were being overcharged. I've just bought a qubit at Tesco. | :11:55. | :12:10.
And sure these products are better on special offer. That's why I | :12:11. | :12:16.
bought two of each. According to my receipt, I've paid full price. I | :12:17. | :12:20.
paid 60% more than the deal on the shelf. That's the pounds 30 and hard | :12:21. | :12:27.
cash. At another Tesco, I spotted two for ?2 on ice cream. But at the | :12:28. | :12:32.
till, it is the full price as well. What's going on? There is a price on | :12:33. | :12:38.
goods so you know what you're going to pay and that price must be | :12:39. | :12:40.
accurate to say you don't get charged more than you thought you | :12:41. | :12:45.
were going to pay. Watt armed with my phone and secret cameras, I want | :12:46. | :12:49.
to see how many offers don't go through at the tills. Here in | :12:50. | :12:54.
Nottingham, and finding problems. In both the prices on these are wrong. | :12:55. | :13:13.
When the worker checks... Cannon and that is the problem. Multi-byte | :13:14. | :13:16.
deals are being left on the shelves after the tills are told that ended. | :13:17. | :13:21.
These offers ended almost two weeks ago. I got out again in Leicester. | :13:22. | :13:30.
At least Tesco Metro store Edison offline cutlery that doesn't go | :13:31. | :13:33.
through. At another Leicester store, Michelle Price and Phil Price are | :13:34. | :13:43.
wrong once again. That is the weeks ago. 33 of the 50 stores I will wait | :13:44. | :13:51.
to comedy till prices more than a shelf price. That is a whopping 66%. | :13:52. | :13:57.
There where was the major problems with their control of the special | :13:58. | :14:01.
offers, and it is then that bring customers in, make people reach for | :14:02. | :14:08.
more and spend a little more. So that is very worrying. The come they | :14:09. | :14:15.
would provide enough interview, but after interviewing the reviewing our | :14:16. | :14:17.
evidence, they tell that this programme... | :14:18. | :14:34.
Following an investigation, Britain's biggest supermarket has | :14:35. | :14:38.
said it will be double-checking the accuracy of every price in every | :14:39. | :14:43.
store. That is more than 3500 stores across Britain. | :14:44. | :14:46.
And you can see that investigation in full on tonight's | :14:47. | :14:49.
Inside Out East Midlands at 7:30pm here on BBC One. | :14:50. | :14:52.
Nottingham hospitals are looking to recruit dozens of new cleaners | :14:53. | :14:55.
after they announced the end of their contract | :14:56. | :14:57.
The service will be provided in-house by the NHS from April | :14:58. | :15:03.
following claims of dirty wards and poor cleaning standards. | :15:04. | :15:07.
There have been accusations of dirty wards, | :15:08. | :15:12.
staff shortages, now the | :15:13. | :15:13.
cleaning is being brought back in-house at Nottingham's two major | :15:14. | :15:16.
hospitals and their job gaps to fill. | :15:17. | :15:20.
We see our cleaning staff as an integral part of the | :15:21. | :15:26.
ward team, who take responsibility along | :15:27. | :15:27.
ward team to make sure that the patient | :15:28. | :15:30.
experience is as good as it | :15:31. | :15:32.
can be that the ward is clean and tidy. | :15:33. | :15:42.
At full strength, the cleaning workforce should number the | :15:43. | :15:44.
equivalent of 350 full-time cleaners. | :15:45. | :15:45.
It says it needs to take on the equivalent of 50 full-time | :15:46. | :15:48.
Plus enhancements for anti-social hours. | :15:49. | :15:54.
The important thing for the cleaners is to make sure that they have | :15:55. | :15:57.
absolute pride in their work and commitment to do things properly. | :15:58. | :15:59.
There are national standards that we have | :16:00. | :16:01.
to abide by in terms of the | :16:02. | :16:03.
cleaning of our ward and clinic areas. | :16:04. | :16:06.
Her job involves some cleaning duties, | :16:07. | :16:09.
but it's chatting to patients she really loves. | :16:10. | :16:12.
The rewards that you get from patient that come in and | :16:13. | :16:15.
who are nervous, just putting them at ease, looking after them, | :16:16. | :16:20.
You know you've done a good job that day. | :16:21. | :16:26.
Carillion, which funds the operation, declined to comment. | :16:27. | :16:29.
Ultimately, if standards don't improve, but in 's | :16:30. | :16:33.
hospitals said may have to take on even cleaners. | :16:34. | :16:39.
-- But the financial pressures, they say that's not easy. | :16:40. | :16:45.
in other news tonight, inspectors say children's services in Leicester | :16:46. | :16:56.
need to improve. An Ofsted report has criticised leadership and | :16:57. | :16:59.
management access services for children who need help and | :17:00. | :17:01.
protection should be swifter and more consistent. There are also been | :17:02. | :17:07.
delays in support five children going into care are being adopted. | :17:08. | :17:11.
The council says it is making changes to use staff workloads. The | :17:12. | :17:15.
report tells us clearly this is what you need to do in order to become | :17:16. | :17:19.
good. One of them is caseloads for social workers. There is an | :17:20. | :17:26.
immediate input of more money into social care so that we can recruit | :17:27. | :17:30.
more social workers and change that position. | :17:31. | :17:32.
Work's getting underway on a major redevelopment | :17:33. | :17:34.
The ?10.5 million plan to revamp the precinct | :17:35. | :17:37.
It'll involve the demolition of the health centre and library, | :17:38. | :17:40.
but they'll be replaced and there'll be improvements to retail | :17:41. | :17:43.
Its thought it'll be completed next year. | :17:44. | :17:49.
And Nottingham City Council has won an award for | :17:50. | :17:51.
the Best Local Authority Arts Initiative. | :17:52. | :17:53.
The Hearts for the Arts Award has been given to the authority | :17:54. | :17:56.
in recognition of their Performing Arts Library Service. | :17:57. | :18:00.
It loans material such as music sets and scores to local groups | :18:01. | :18:04.
who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford them. | :18:05. | :18:06.
The awards recognise councils who are overcoming financial | :18:07. | :18:09.
challenges to ensure the arts stay at the centre of community life. | :18:10. | :18:20.
Financial challenges for our services, but for a sports teams, | :18:21. | :18:23.
it's been challenges of a different kind. | :18:24. | :18:25.
Including a great crowd at Notts County and an astonishing | :18:26. | :18:29.
But we have to start at Leicester City | :18:30. | :18:32.
and with newspaper back pages totally dominated | :18:33. | :18:33.
by their 2017 horror show and by Claudio Ranieri's plan | :18:34. | :18:37.
to abandon his loyalty to the players who won | :18:38. | :18:40.
It will not make pretty reading for anyone around | :18:41. | :18:44.
But the players can have no complaints after | :18:45. | :18:48.
They conceeded two goals in quick succession just before half time | :18:49. | :18:54.
It's now ten hours of Premier League football without a Leicester goal. | :18:55. | :19:00.
Not what you want just before FA Cup and Champions League challenges. | :19:01. | :19:10.
IMac design the Premier League, the Champions League is something | :19:11. | :19:16.
different. We want to play well and we want to independent, her target, | :19:17. | :19:21.
is to stay in the Premier League. Something has to turn | :19:22. | :19:22.
this round, you hope. Now, a proper mixed bag | :19:23. | :19:24.
in the Championship and League Two. And one staging | :19:25. | :19:27.
a brilliant comeback. And that's where Nikesh Rughani | :19:28. | :19:31.
starts his roundup. Many other Derby 's first choice | :19:32. | :19:44.
players were arrested in the cup game at Leicester last week, but it | :19:45. | :19:49.
didn't look freshly first half against Bristol city. Visitors want | :19:50. | :19:54.
to a 3-0 lead. It really was a game of two halves, Darren Bent to one | :19:55. | :20:00.
back as the RAM is finally got going. Leicester City had the chest | :20:01. | :20:04.
to bury the game shortly after, but somehow Matt Taylor missed a golden | :20:05. | :20:10.
chance. They then made it 3-2 before... A secured a point from the | :20:11. | :20:15.
penalties but to keep the RAM is still within touching distance of | :20:16. | :20:21.
the play-offs. We came back from a bad situation, and not a point out | :20:22. | :20:26.
of the game, kept her own unbeaten record at home which was important, | :20:27. | :20:34.
and we move on. Cross Forest's woes continue at the weekend, they | :20:35. | :20:37.
defeated Norwich was done and dusted after 18 minutes following this | :20:38. | :20:43.
stunning effort. Brosnan, scored on his debut, but Norwich had the last | :20:44. | :20:47.
say securing a 5-1 win with a another belter of a goal. The keeper | :20:48. | :20:52.
was stretchered off during the game, the bosses it's a massive blow. He's | :20:53. | :20:58.
been scandalous morning, there is a problem with his Achilles, eating | :20:59. | :21:02.
operated on today. We probably lost over the rest of the season. That is | :21:03. | :21:07.
really disappointing. Steve Evans has worked wonders with Mansfield | :21:08. | :21:10.
town and they are now into the play-offs after thrashing at home. | :21:11. | :21:18.
The thousands league football at this ground. They secured an | :21:19. | :21:28.
impressive win. 4-0 to Mansfield town. At the wrong end of League 2, | :21:29. | :21:32.
Notts County managed to get further away from the drop zone. They opened | :21:33. | :21:39.
the scoring, his... Kevin Nolan 's side doubled their lead with a | :21:40. | :21:43.
header from Richard Duffy. His first goal for the club. It was enough for | :21:44. | :21:44.
the points. At the beginning I mentioned | :21:45. | :21:46.
Notts County's crowd. The club wanted supporters to be | :21:47. | :21:48.
the 12th man at the weekend, so they cut prices to | :21:49. | :21:51.
?12 for adults. In Rugby, Leicester Tigers | :21:52. | :21:53.
have signed four players Greg Bateman, Mike Fitzgerald, | :21:54. | :22:01.
Brandon O'Connor and Jono Kitto have On the field, Tigers | :22:02. | :22:07.
are one bonus point win away from the Top Four, | :22:08. | :22:12.
after a fine win over They had to wait until the final | :22:13. | :22:15.
minute to score their And it was a first in | :22:16. | :22:19.
Tigers' colours for new In Ice Hockey, Nottingham Panthers | :22:20. | :22:22.
may have been shut-out 3-0 by the league leaders Cardiff last | :22:23. | :22:31.
night, but I reckon fans will gloss over that and instead bask | :22:32. | :22:35.
in a stormer of a game The visiting Steelers could scarcely | :22:36. | :22:38.
believe it as Nottingham raced into a 4-0 lead at the end | :22:39. | :22:42.
of the first period. All credit then, that Sheffield | :22:43. | :22:47.
found the quality to fight back in the second period, | :22:48. | :22:50.
but that Nottingham lead This fifth goal from David Clarke | :22:51. | :22:53.
just enough to see Panthers home. And well done to | :22:54. | :23:03.
golf's Melissa Reid. Triumphant after two play-off holes | :23:04. | :23:06.
at the Oates Vic Open in Australia. Her first European Tour win | :23:07. | :23:10.
in over a year and a half. A new system is being tried out | :23:11. | :23:21.
at a Derby maternity unit to try to stop babies | :23:22. | :23:26.
needing intensive care. It's based on a traffic | :23:27. | :23:29.
light system, involving red, yellow and green, | :23:30. | :23:31.
which alerts staff Its already proving | :23:32. | :23:33.
remarkably effective. Meet Lydia and Violet, | :23:34. | :23:38.
twins born six weeks early They are wearing hats, | :23:39. | :23:49.
not as a fashion accessory, And the colour, too, is vital. | :23:50. | :23:54.
Because here, red means Babies' heads have no risk factors, | :23:55. | :23:59.
they get their little green hats on. But there are other babies where, | :24:00. | :24:07.
either their mums are poorly or there have been other risk | :24:08. | :24:11.
factors where babies who are smaller can have a yellow hat on, | :24:12. | :24:14.
and then everybody who looks at the baby immediately knows | :24:15. | :24:17.
the level of care that needs Already, it has seen | :24:18. | :24:21.
dramatic results. We did an audit in 2015 and 2016, | :24:22. | :24:27.
and we found quite a few babies who were readmitted to the ward | :24:28. | :24:31.
or to the special care unit, and they had low temperatures | :24:32. | :24:36.
or low blood sugar levels. Ever since we have implemented | :24:37. | :24:42.
this whole care bundle, We've had no admissions | :24:43. | :24:44.
for the last two months. It's been reassuring for us, | :24:45. | :24:50.
and stopped us worrying. We had our baby from a Caesarean | :24:51. | :24:53.
section, and were told It's an unusual solution | :24:54. | :25:00.
to something that is It is hoped this hat idea will be | :25:01. | :25:07.
put copied by other maternity In the meantime, it has led | :25:08. | :25:13.
to an unusual hospital We all need woolly hat in the | :25:14. | :25:17.
moment, it has been bitingly cold. We have finally seen some sunshine, | :25:18. | :25:46.
and without blue sky it will be easy to forget that Saturday looked more | :25:47. | :25:50.
like this, lots of low cloud and snow. Skip forward 48 hours this | :25:51. | :25:56.
afternoon and it's completely different. Blue skies, but it wasn't | :25:57. | :26:00.
really still quite chilly which you wouldn't be able to tell from that. | :26:01. | :26:06.
Moving through this week, it will turn a bit milder as getting | :26:07. | :26:10.
midweek, temperatures will creep up into double figures. Plenty of cloud | :26:11. | :26:14.
around but some sunny spells, some brightness Dell, 12 showers in the | :26:15. | :26:18.
mix as well. This is what's coming on in the bigger picture. High | :26:19. | :26:23.
pressure to the north-east, low pressure any south-west. That | :26:24. | :26:27.
squeeze made it breezy today. In its couple of days, we will see the wind | :26:28. | :26:31.
direction begin to shift to a westerly direction, and that will | :26:32. | :26:39.
drag milder air and that'll bring the temperature is up. First of all, | :26:40. | :26:43.
this evening, cloud, it will be largely dry, it could be thick | :26:44. | :26:48.
enough to produce drizzle, clear spells as well, attempt is vital in | :26:49. | :26:53.
the low of two Celsius. Tomorrow, tightness in the morning, sunny | :26:54. | :26:58.
spells turning increasingly cloudy as the TV weather front coming from | :26:59. | :27:03.
the south-west. It will be the dry, temperatures at a maximum of nine | :27:04. | :27:07.
Celsius. That window just beginning to creep down to a more | :27:08. | :27:11.
south-easterly, through the evening, if you're heading out, you might | :27:12. | :27:16.
want an umbrella, Kirsten is the odd spot of rain, into some cloud | :27:17. | :27:22.
around, bright intervals, but temperatures into double figures, so | :27:23. | :27:25.
any trees lay mild picture has been move to the next you days | :27:26. | :27:31. |
