Police say a teenager whose body was found near a Derbyshire park

on Christmas Day may have died in a different place.

17-year-old Han Lam, a Vietnamese national,

was discovered near Heanor Memorial Park.

Mike O'Sullivan has this report.

Missing since April.

Vietnamese national Han Lam, aged 17.

West Midlands Police say the body found at 9pm on Christmas Day,

near Heanor Memorial Park in Derbyshire, could

potentially be his.

They still need DNA confirmation.

Today, near a doorway, flowers mark where Derbyshire Police say the body

of Han Lam was discovered.

It's a place that's home to a range of businesses,

including a nursery.

Dreadful.

Absolutely dreadful.

Couldn't believe when I heard about it.

It's really shocking, really shocking.

This time of year, especially.

It's Christmas Day.

It's very sad for the family, whoever they are.

A post-mortem hasn't revealed the cause of death and further tests

are due to be carried out.

Derbyshire Police say Han Lam's death remains unexplained

and they believe he may have died in a different place

to where his body was found.

Derbyshire Police want to trace the occupants of a dark

grey Toyota Avensis, seen in the Heanor area between 11am

and 12pm on Christmas Day.

They say their timescale has widened after previously asking for anyone

who saw something suspicious in the afternoon to come forward.

Han Lam was last seen in the Shropshire town of Bridgenorth,

where he was staying, and has connections to Birmingham.

In May, West Midlands Police said he wasn't in any trouble

but they wanted to make sure he was safe and well.

There's nothing yet to link him with Heanor.

Bomb disposal experts were called to a house in Leicester today

after an old grenade was discovered inside.

Police found it after recovering the body of an 89-year-old man

at the house on Loughborough Road.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

The area was cordoned off for public safety whilst a bomb disposal team

dealt with the grenade.

A Derbyshire doormaker which shed hundreds of jobs a year ago says it

intends to bring most of them back onsite.

Leaderflush-Shapland has already hired more than 60 people

since being taken over by UK Fire Doors.

On New Year's Eve, we got a letter saying, "Don't bother coming back."

12 months ago, Cheryl was among over 300 people made reduntant

by Leaderflush Shapland's here at its Langley Mill site.

The shock of sudden unemployment hit everyone who worked here.

Depressing.

Don't know what you're going to do next.

Cos there's not that many jobs out there, is there?

One year on, Cheryl is back at the factory.

Another doormaker, UK Fire Doors, took over the site and has been

steadily re-employing staff who were made redundant.

We saw a great opportunity, to take advantage of the training,

the knowledge and the skill set that had been developed

here over many years.

It's brilliant.

Better than before.

Better than Leaderflush.

It's ten times better than Leaderflush.

I reckon, the last 12 months, most people have moved on.

Probably into a better job.

All 62 workers here are former Leaderflush employees,

and the company plans to keep expanding.

Now, it's not much fun if you're ill and have to spend time

in hospital or on medication.

And it's even harder if you're just a youngster.

But a special youth club at Nottingham City Hospital,

which opens its doors to around 600 young people every year

is celebrating its 18th birthday.

The kind of conversation you'd expect at any youth

club, but for patients at Nottingham Hospitals,

this club is also a chance to be around young people

who are going through the same thing.

Jon Jo joined at the age of 11 after being treated for epilepsy.

I was so shy and scared.

I was so little compared to everyone else and

they just opened their hearts to me.

My confidence levels, me verbally speaking to other people,

has increased by so much.

The youth service started 18 years ago and was originally just

for patients at the renal unit.

Now it helps around 600 11-25 year olds every year

across the hospitals.

To come to an environment where just to meet someone

else, whether it's a similar condition or just being in hospital

where they can understand others, it's fantastic.

From sports to arts and crafts, for many here,

the service is a vital source of fun and friendship.

It looks like we're in for a chilly night.

Here's Lucy, who has our weather forecast.

Good evening.

Some dense patches of fog to look out for as we move through tonight

and tomorrow morning.

As such, there is a yellow warning in place from the Met Office.

That lasts till tomorrow morning.

The reduced visibility could make for some quite

tricky driving conditions, so do just take it easy

if you're out on the roads.

Putting the details onto the map, then, we're staying dry.

I think we'll see quite a widespread frost developing as temperatures

fall close to freezing in towns and cities.

Slightly cooler, though, if you're out in the countryside

but it's those patches of freezing fog and mist you want to look out

for through the night and tomorrow morning.

They will start to slowly lift and that will be into low cloud

so I think we're looking at a largely cloudy day tomorrow.

Could just catch a break, if you're lucky.

Temperatures, though, not up to much, a maximum of 4

Celsius with a light breeze.

As we move into Friday, though, I think we're looking at a cloudier

and breezier day but I do think that will bring with it a little bit more

in the way of brightness.

It's a similar story into Saturday but we could just see some rain

coming down from the North through the night so stay tuned

to the forecast and watch out for that fog tomorrow morning.
