A question is hanging over a controversial housing devdlopment

Just days ago, local planners gave the go``head for

400 homes on the edge of Newmarket despite fierce opposition.

But now the government's stdpped in and there's to be a public dnquiry.

Opponents have been fighting the plan to develop

the land known as Hatchfield Farm for nearly five years saying it will

So it's amazing, and it's a legacy for everyone to see as well.

Lance Corporal Ashworth was just 23 when he died

He was leading a platoon in an attack on an enemy colpound.

He was serving with the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards.

James Ashworth's former reghment is coming here one of 48 te`ms

It's a charity tournament that's been held annually since his death.

This is the first time it's been held here at Corby town.

We went over to Paris, did a football tournament there with

the Battalion, so it was a big part of his life.

I think it's a fitting tribtte to James today, to put on a dax

like this, to show the support that Corby have got behind him.

We first started in 2012 and we finally got it at

Corby Town Football Club with a lot of great help.

Hopefully, we will make somd good money for the charities.

In fact, it's hoped two charities, including the

British Limbless Ex`servicelen's Association will benefit to

the tune of several thousand pounds in James Ashworth's memory.

after carding a six`under`p`r 6 in her third round at Royal Birkdale.
