for life for killing her half sister.

Next tonight - the rise in rough sleepers in some of our towns

Every winter, councils take a snapshot of how many

people are on the streets on one given night.

And it's the bigger towns that have seen the sharpest rise.

In Cambridge the number has more than doubled

since this time last year - with 40 people sleeping rough

and in Milton Keynes the figure has nearly trebled.

In Stevenage, rough sleepers were counted at five last year.

This evening, an event is being held here, inviting homeless people for

Lenny Newman is a former first-team manager and player at Northampton

who missed a whole season because of concussion.
