equip a brand-new school. I think it is going to be good,

because although we have the equipment and we take it for

granted, it would be a really good thing for them to have.

But now a charity is helping them rebuild their lives. The new school

will be part of a new village with 300 houses, a health centre, and a

bakery using this recycled kitchen. Out of an old school comes a new

school which will literally transform the lives of so many

children. These are the people who are the poorest on earth, and we, by

using what we are only going to throw into landfill, we can build

and provide facilities and training programmes and really help people.

school has gone to, and what they are doing with it. I just think it

is fantastic. The charity is now asking for

volunteers to help over the next week. The equipment will then be

shipped out in the New Year. More than ?100,000 has been secured

to save an historic pier in Suffolk. Shotley Railway Pier

was built 122 years ago. Now a local heritage group hope

to buy and restore it. People eager to own a part

of the pier will buy shares in it, and a charitable trust has agreed
