Good evening and welcome to BBC Look North.

:00:00.:00:08.

The headlines from us this Friday night...

:00:09.:00:12.

After the shock in the Copeland by-election, could Labour lose Hull

:00:13.:00:15.

There is definitely evidence to show that support among working-class

:00:16.:00:20.

voters for Labour has fallen under Jeremy Corbyn.

:00:21.:00:24.

It is not a people's party, as far as I am concerned.

:00:25.:00:27.

I do not like Mr Corbyn, I think he is rather arrogant.

:00:28.:00:30.

I do not think they are a strong option to lead the nation.

:00:31.:00:34.

"Scrap the sugar tax" - a drinks company tells

:00:35.:00:38.

the government to rethink its plans, saying it could ruin their business.

:00:39.:00:41.

The relegation battle intensifies with the sacking of Leicester

:00:42.:00:45.

Can Hull City leapfrog them this weekend to get out

:00:46.:00:49.

And the nine-year-old on skates breaking records who is the youngest

:00:50.:00:53.

And we have seen some decent conditions across East Yorkshire and

:00:54.:01:07.

Lincolnshire today. A bit of a change of the weekend. I will have

:01:08.:01:09.

your full forecast shortly. There's a warning tonight that

:01:10.:01:24.

Labour could struggle to hold on to its traditional strongholds

:01:25.:01:27.

in northern cities. It follows the party's defeat

:01:28.:01:29.

in the Copeland by-election Pollsters say there's evidence that

:01:30.:01:32.

voters in cities like Hull are becoming increasingly

:01:33.:01:35.

disillusioned with Labour under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership -

:01:36.:01:37.

a charge denied by Mr Corbyn's More from our political

:01:38.:01:39.

editor Tim Iredale. His report contains

:01:40.:01:42.

some flash photography. For decades Labour has been

:01:43.:01:49.

the dominant political force But one polling organisation

:01:50.:01:51.

suggests the party could be in danger of losing some

:01:52.:01:58.

of its traditional supporters. If you look at areas like Hull,

:01:59.:02:01.

these are areas where over 60% of the population voted to leave

:02:02.:02:04.

the European Union. So, that disconnect,

:02:05.:02:06.

and how Jeremy Corbyn balances the priorities of,

:02:07.:02:09.

if you like, the North London Islington Liberals and the working

:02:10.:02:11.

class areas of the North, is a very difficult balancing

:02:12.:02:17.

act for him to make. Labour held off a challenge

:02:18.:02:19.

from Ukip in the Stoke Central by-election but the party lost

:02:20.:02:25.

Copeland in Cumbria That was the best by-election result

:02:26.:02:27.

for a governing party since 1966 when Labour won Hull North

:02:28.:02:33.

after promising to build We asked some voters how

:02:34.:02:36.

they rate Labour now. They're not the same party

:02:37.:02:42.

as they used to be anymore. Not a people's party,

:02:43.:02:44.

as far as I'm concerned. I don't like Mr Corbyn,

:02:45.:02:47.

I think he's rather arrogant. He just doesn't seem

:02:48.:02:50.

consistent in his ideas Would you vote for

:02:51.:02:53.

Labour under Mr Corbyn? I don't think they are a strong

:02:54.:02:57.

option to lead the nation. I don't think he is

:02:58.:03:05.

a strong candidate. Jeremy Corbyn still has

:03:06.:03:09.

many allies across East His supporters here in

:03:10.:03:11.

the Hull North constituency Labour Party are standing

:03:12.:03:16.

by their man. Jeremy was elected with a policy

:03:17.:03:20.

platform and we need to see You know, the Labour Party does have

:03:21.:03:23.

excellent policy to do with health and social care,

:03:24.:03:28.

integration, about getting rid of this crisis and funding it

:03:29.:03:31.

properly and making sure that elderly people are looked

:03:32.:03:33.

after and have a decent I think we need to hammer home those

:03:34.:03:35.

points more because they will Many Labour supporters will be keen

:03:36.:03:41.

to avoid another bitter leadership battle but it's clear the party

:03:42.:03:45.

faces an uphill struggle to win back This one will certainly get people

:03:46.:04:04.

talking. I will ask you for your views shortly.

:04:05.:04:06.

Earlier I spoke to the MP for Hull North, Diana Johnson,

:04:07.:04:09.

and I asked her whether northern cities like Hull are becoming

:04:10.:04:11.

I mean, we have a Labour council in Hull and we have three Labour

:04:12.:04:17.

MPs, and I think all Labour politicians in Hull

:04:18.:04:19.

and elsewhere need to make sure that we are listening

:04:20.:04:21.

to what the voters are saying to us and the concerns that they have.

:04:22.:04:25.

Would you bet on Hull North being still Labour after

:04:26.:04:27.

I take nothing for granted in politics and I work very hard

:04:28.:04:31.

to make sure that when the election comes, in 2020, we think,

:04:32.:04:38.

that people will look kindly upon what I have done over

:04:39.:04:41.

Copeland has been Labour since 1935, it is now Conservative.

:04:42.:04:46.

I mean, you have got a huge job if even traditional heartlands

:04:47.:04:49.

for Labour think that they are not worth voting for in

:04:50.:04:52.

We have to make sure that we are listening

:04:53.:04:57.

to those voters and we are putting forward policies...

:04:58.:05:00.

We are miles behind, I am not pretending that we are not.

:05:01.:05:06.

But what I am saying to you is that we have a real job

:05:07.:05:09.

of work to do to make sure that we have the policies

:05:10.:05:12.

that our voters will want to support and get out and vote for us.

:05:13.:05:15.

The problem, you see, is that the voters do not know

:05:16.:05:18.

what the Labour stance is on Brexit, do they?

:05:19.:05:20.

Don't want to leave the EU, and any support for Brexit

:05:21.:05:24.

No, that is not the case any more, I think.

:05:25.:05:29.

We had a referendum, I am a Democrat, the majority view

:05:30.:05:32.

That is now what the Labour Party is saying, we have all voted,

:05:33.:05:36.

or the vast majority of Labour MPs voted to trigger Article 50.

:05:37.:05:40.

But you have a leader that you do not believe in.

:05:41.:05:43.

He is the leader, we have gone through two leadership elections

:05:44.:05:45.

and I now want him to lead, I want him to set out very,

:05:46.:05:49.

very clearly, the policies that my constituents

:05:50.:05:51.

So policies that are very clear about jobs, about investing

:05:52.:05:54.

We need to be really clear with the electorate

:05:55.:05:59.

Is Jeremy Corbyn, as it stands at the moment, is he unelectable?

:06:00.:06:05.

Look, Jeremy Corbyn is the leader of the Labour Party and I think...

:06:06.:06:08.

No, I know that, but I am asking you if he is unelectable?

:06:09.:06:11.

No, I do not think that he is unelectable...

:06:12.:06:13.

OK, well, this morning the MP John Woodcock said Labour

:06:14.:06:16.

was on track for an historic and catastrophic defeat

:06:17.:06:18.

He is and I have got a great deal of time for John.

:06:19.:06:24.

Obviously he is an MP over in Cumbria where Copeland is.

:06:25.:06:27.

What I would say to you is, and I think Jeremy accepted this

:06:28.:06:31.

in the interview this morning that he gave, it is disappointing

:06:32.:06:33.

what happened in Copeland and we need to change track here.

:06:34.:06:36.

We need to make sure that we have clear policies,

:06:37.:06:38.

that Jeremy leads the Labour Party, that people understand

:06:39.:06:41.

that he is a Prime Minister in waiting and he has got

:06:42.:06:43.

a Shadow Cabinet that is a government in waiting.

:06:44.:06:46.

The trouble is, you don't really believe that he is

:06:47.:06:48.

What I would say to you is I really believe that Labour has

:06:49.:06:56.

I am proud to be a Labour MP and I want to see a Labour

:06:57.:07:01.

Diana Johnson, always very good to see you.

:07:02.:07:04.

Is the Labour Party electable with Jeremy Corbyn as leader?

:07:05.:07:08.

A win in Stoke, but defeat in Copeland last night.

:07:09.:07:11.

If you're a Labour supporter, are you celebrating today

:07:12.:07:13.

We look forward to getting your thoughts. We will have some of them

:07:14.:07:49.

before we finish at 7pm. And there will be more

:07:50.:07:51.

on the fallout from yesterday's This week the guests

:07:52.:07:54.

will include the Ukip MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber,

:07:55.:07:57.

Mike Hookem. That's on Sunday at 11

an end to further expansion. Lincolnshire's sugar beet farmers

say any tax on sugar would also Our business correspondent

:08:27.:08:29.

are hugely popular and it would be difficult to change their recipes

:08:30.:08:32.

to include less sugar. Ginger beer because it's so peppery

:08:33.:08:35.

and sharp with the taste of ginger. That one, if we make

:08:36.:08:41.

the ginger beer without sugar, it really doesn't taste very

:08:42.:08:45.

nice at all. We use sugar as a sweetener,

:08:46.:08:47.

we don't use too much of it. He says any extra tax could halt

:08:48.:08:51.

development at this factory and using artificial sweeteners

:08:52.:08:56.

instead is not an option. It could have a profound

:08:57.:08:58.

impact on us. I don't want to go

:08:59.:09:03.

after sweeteners really. Our products are natural,

:09:04.:09:06.

which sugar is and we don't use Companies will be charged depending

:09:07.:09:29.

on how much sugar they use. Two litre bottles would be an extra 48p.

But although the money raised going to fight obesity. -- with all of the

beet and Lincolnshire is one of the largest producers

:09:40.:09:42.

of the plant. Growers say the sugar tax

:09:43.:09:43.

is a concern because the industry is It provides season-long

employment for our staff here. We're harvesting right

through into February and then we start drilling the crop

again in March. We grow about 500 hectares year

:09:54.:09:55.

which puts 37,000 tonnes of sugar beet into the factory and we have

been growing that When it leaves the farm it comes

wrong target. If you want to control your weight it is about calories in

:10:26.:10:29.

and calories out and controlling them. I do not think it will have

:10:30.:10:32.

the impact that the government hopes. The spring budget will have

:10:33.:10:36.

more details on the sugar tax. Companies like this fear they will

:10:37.:10:40.

be left with the bitter taste in their mark. Leanne Brown, BBC Look

North. Earlier I spoke to Gavin Partington

:10:42.:10:49.

who's from the British Soft Drinks Association and I asked him

:10:50.:10:55.

if he accepted that a tax on soft drinks would help to reduce the high

:10:56.:10:58.

levels of obesity which we have Where tax has been tried,

:10:59.:11:02.

as in Mexico, there is no evidence it has had any impact on levels

:11:03.:11:07.

of obesity, it simply, on occasions, has forced up prices and has had

:11:08.:11:10.

some impact on short-term sales. But there is no evidence from around

:11:11.:11:13.

the world that it has actually had Do you disagree with

:11:14.:11:16.

the health experts, including the World Health Organisation

:11:17.:11:19.

and also the boss of the NHS, who say that too much

:11:20.:11:22.

sugar is bad for you? I'd accept that actually some

:11:23.:11:25.

people can have too much sugar in their diet,

:11:26.:11:27.

we must acknowledge that too many children are getting too much

:11:28.:11:29.

sugar in their diet and, of course, the industry has a role

:11:30.:11:32.

to play in helping them reduce their sugar intake from soft

:11:33.:11:35.

drinks, I do accept that. So, if you accept that,

:11:36.:11:37.

why are you against the sugar tax when we know about the high amount

:11:38.:11:40.

of sugar in drinks, including an average can having

:11:41.:11:43.

nine teaspoons of sugar. It is a blunt weapon and the fact

:11:44.:11:45.

is that 60% of the soft drinks on the market now actually have low

:11:46.:11:50.

or no-sugar content whatsoever. So it seems wrong to us that

:11:51.:11:52.

consumers should pay a higher price when there is ample choice of low

:11:53.:11:55.

and no-calorie products But the National Obesity Forum

:11:56.:11:58.

thinks that you are very worried - in fact, worried stiff,

:11:59.:12:04.

I think was the quote - So you have got to do

:12:05.:12:07.

something, haven't you? I don't accept that

:12:08.:12:13.

we are worried stiff. The industry has actually been

:12:14.:12:14.

self-starting in a sense because for many, many years it has

:12:15.:12:17.

been launching a whole range of low and no-calorie products,

:12:18.:12:21.

reducing sugar content. In the last four years,

:12:22.:12:24.

sugar content across the soft drinks category has gone down

:12:25.:12:27.

by almost 20%. These are great strides

:12:28.:12:32.

and we can help people balance their diets,

:12:33.:12:35.

but ultimately, there is no evidence that a tax on soft drinks

:12:36.:12:39.

is actually going to reduce levels So what about the head of this

:12:40.:12:42.

drinks business in Lincolnshire who has said that the government

:12:43.:12:45.

should scrap the plans Are you still saying that or have

:12:46.:12:48.

you given up on that? Well, of course, we concur

:12:49.:12:52.

that the tax should not go ahead but it seems unfortunately

:12:53.:12:55.

that the Chancellor is determined We simply stand by our position

:12:56.:12:57.

that the soft drinks industry has taken the right steps to help people

:12:58.:13:01.

reduce sugar content The tax is a blunt weapon and,

:13:02.:13:04.

as I repeat, there is no evidence whatsoever from around the world

:13:05.:13:08.

where tax has been tried that it has Mr Partington, very good

:13:09.:13:11.

to talk to you tonight, Yesterday we asked for your thoughts

:13:12.:13:15.

on the government wanting to introduce a sugar tax,

:13:16.:13:29.

here's a few of your thoughts... We talked about, last night, about

:13:30.:13:40.

primary school children leaving school with high levels of obesity.

:13:41.:13:41.

Let us hear what you think... Thank you very much indeed for all

:13:42.:14:14.

of those. Lincolnshire County Council has

:14:15.:14:19.

voted to increase its share The approved rise puts an extra ?45

:14:20.:14:21.

on a Band D property. Half the money raised will be spent

:14:22.:14:25.

on adult social care. The council also voted on a proposal

:14:26.:14:28.

to do away with several Lincolnshire councils creating

:14:29.:14:31.

just one authority. A formal referendum

:14:32.:14:34.

will not go ahead. A public consultation however

:14:35.:14:35.

will be held later in the year. They have instructed our chief

:14:36.:14:42.

executive to make arrangements, to go out to consultation

:14:43.:14:44.

with the public on this So, potentially, we could save ?30

:14:45.:14:47.

million each year or ?80,000 each day and we just want to ask

:14:48.:14:53.

the public, if we had a different arrangement for Lincolnshire,

:14:54.:14:56.

whether they would support that As the relegation fight heats up

with the sacking of Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri,

:14:59.:15:12.

of the bottom three? And we meet the nine-year-old

:15:45.:15:56.

This viewer has said that your hair is much better and they love the big

:15:57.:16:00.

question. Was that from you, Peter? No, not

:16:01.:16:18.

me, but from a chap cold Peter, would you believe! I think it was

:16:19.:16:26.

really from you! Tomorrow, the weather goes downhill. We will see

:16:27.:16:29.

outbreaks of rain, only just hanging on to that dry weather for the

:16:30.:16:34.

moment. Not for long, here it comes. The weather front pushing and only

:16:35.:16:37.

West introducing thicker cloud, outbreaks of rain. Some could be

:16:38.:16:42.

heavy at times as well. Those of five Celsius. The South-Westerly

:16:43.:16:44.

winds will pick up overnight, turning quite blustery. The high

:16:45.:16:50.

water is tomorrow at Hull. Here are your times... Back to that band of

:16:51.:16:57.

rain, moving across towards the East then. By the time they get in the

:16:58.:17:02.

afternoon, I think much of Lincolnshire, for example, built on

:17:03.:17:06.

mostly dry and Eastern coastal parts might even brighten up. We cannot

:17:07.:17:09.

promise anything but at least it will turn largely. Let us take you

:17:10.:17:15.

bet on a quick tour of the temperatures. Very similar across

:17:16.:17:20.

the board, nine or 10 Celsius, but again, South-Westerly winds. They

:17:21.:17:24.

are coming from a milder source region, so they are not as cold but

:17:25.:17:27.

they are quite strong and giving with the one hand and taking away at

:17:28.:17:37.

the same time. There is Saturday, it brightens up for the start of

:17:38.:17:40.

Sunday. That is ahead of another weather front. Sunday morning will

:17:41.:17:42.

mostly be dry with some brightness before that rain gets to us later

:17:43.:17:45.

on. We will see some showers as we look ahead towards Monday and

:17:46.:17:48.

Tuesday. So, I think if you have got any plans, Sunday is probably the

:17:49.:17:52.

better the weekend, just because we are going to see those outbreaks of

:17:53.:17:55.

rain tomorrow morning, pretty much from the word go. But you know,

:17:56.:18:02.

Peter, Sunday not such a bad day but still, pretty breezy out there.

:18:03.:18:05.

Owen, thank you very much. Peter continues that your hair looks so

:18:06.:18:10.

much better. You have a big fan. Brilliant, I am taking all the

:18:11.:18:15.

boxes. Have a nice weekend. You, Peter.

:18:16.:18:27.

Hull City can climb out of the Premier League's relegation

:18:28.:18:32.

places for the first time under new boss Marco Silva tomorrow.

:18:33.:18:35.

Our sports reporter Matt Dean is here to look

:18:36.:18:37.

The last time Hull City were out of the bottom three was October,

:18:38.:18:41.

so a win at home to Burnley at the KCOM Stadium tomorrow

:18:42.:18:44.

would mark significant progress under Marco Silva.

:18:45.:18:46.

The Portuguese, who only arrived last month, thinks it

:18:47.:18:48.

would provide his players with a big psychological boost in their battle

:18:49.:18:51.

It is important. This will only happen if we wind the games and

:18:52.:18:56.

select the points. Tomorrow it is a great chance

:18:57.:18:56.

These are the matches this weekend...

:18:57.:19:32.

It is a big night of boxing at the Hull Arena tomorrow. Luke Campbell

:19:33.:19:42.

and Tommy Coyne Weidenfeller. Campbell will defend his ECB BC

:19:43.:19:45.

Silva lightweight title against a Mexican. Great to be back in Hull

:19:46.:19:52.

fighting. I was on the road last year. We did not have any shows

:19:53.:19:56.

here. This is going to be a good start to the year. I am looking

:19:57.:20:00.

forward to getting in there and showing everybody what I can do. And

:20:01.:20:04.

then last night's action, Hull FC mist the opportunity to open their

:20:05.:20:08.

Super League campaign with a victory. They were defeated by the

:20:09.:20:12.

Catalan Dragons. They were leading 8-0 at the interval but could not

:20:13.:20:16.

build on that any second half. They slipped to their first defeat of the

:20:17.:20:20.

season despite scoring two tries to the French team's one try. Good luck

:20:21.:20:24.

to Hull Kingston Rovers at the weekend. They are striving for their

:20:25.:20:30.

fourth straight wind to the start of the new season.

:20:31.:20:36.

Thank you for that, man. You can follow all of the football tomorrow

:20:37.:20:37.

on the radio... BBC Radio Humberside will have

:20:38.:20:41.

coverage of Hull City's game at home against Burnley on FM

:20:42.:20:44.

and on Freeview channel 721. In League One, Scunthorpe United's

:20:45.:20:46.

match away at Bristol Grimsby Town's League Two trip

:20:47.:20:48.

to Morecambe is on AM and BBC Radio Lincolnshire will have

:20:49.:20:52.

commentary of Lincoln City's FA Trophy quarterfinal match

:20:53.:20:54.

against Boreham Wood. Two Lincolnshire men rescued

:20:55.:20:56.

the driver from an overturned lorry, after one used his false leg to help

:20:57.:21:22.

smash the front window. The lorry overturned

:21:23.:21:27.

in high winds at Ruskington Lincolnshire's Deputy Police and

:21:28.:21:29.

Crime Commissioner Stuart Tweedale He and his friend Craig Nairn,

:21:30.:21:33.

who lost a leg in a road accident, The driver was pulled,

:21:34.:21:38.

shaken but unhurt, from the cab. Well, I was trying to break the

:21:39.:21:56.

window with the hammer. Craig Whyte doing it with his prosthetic leg!

:21:57.:22:01.

Create himself had an accident some ten years ago and unfortunately he

:22:02.:22:05.

lost his leg. I decided that I was going to make use of my late and try

:22:06.:22:10.

to smash a bit of a glass in with my prosthetic leg. It did come in

:22:11.:22:15.

handy, I damage that a little bit but it has saved a man's life. It

:22:16.:22:20.

can be repaired. Replaced. But the life of the man is more important.

:22:21.:22:29.

Incredible and unusual story, well done to the both of them.

:22:30.:22:31.

The world premiere of the sold-out play, The Hypocrite,

:22:32.:22:33.

The comedy, starring Mark Addy and Caroline Quentin,

:22:34.:22:36.

is about events in Hull that sparked the English Civil War.

:22:37.:22:39.

It's been written by Richard Bean and is being put on at

:22:40.:22:42.

the Hull Truck Theatre as part of the City of Culture.

:22:43.:22:49.

For people that do not know, it is all about the beginning of the civil

:22:50.:22:56.

war which happened in Hull, Beverly Gate is the centrepoint of that

:22:57.:23:02.

moment. The play is frantic, funny and there are lot of us in it. With

:23:03.:23:09.

Hull being the 2017 City of Culture, to be involved in one of the opening

:23:10.:23:16.

shows of that year, it is terrific. That is an incredible story, the

:23:17.:23:19.

fact that it sold out and almost straightaway! Good luck to the cast

:23:20.:23:24.

for the first night. We wish them well and if you are one of the lucky

:23:25.:23:29.

ones to have a ticket, do enjoy it over the next few weeks.

:23:30.:23:31.

A roller hockey player from East Yorkshire is one

:23:32.:23:33.

of the youngest ever to be called up to international duty.

:23:34.:23:36.

Nine-year-old Jake Harland is younger than many of his team-mates

:23:37.:23:38.

in the Great Britain Under-10s inline hockey team.

:23:39.:23:40.

This summer he'll be playing against the best

:23:41.:23:42.

Inline hockey is not for the faint-hearted

:23:43.:23:48.

but nine-year-old Jake more than holds his own with his

:23:49.:23:51.

It is fast. It is like, end to end. If you fall over, you get straight

:23:52.:24:10.

back up. It is live to me, I really like it. Some of the lads that have

:24:11.:24:16.

tried for Team GB, some have got in, some have not. But it is the

:24:17.:24:20.

strongest team we have had and we are going to try to win it this

:24:21.:24:22.

year. The lads will join their

:24:23.:24:22.

Great Britain Under-10s team-mates at the Junior Olympics

:24:23.:24:25.

in California in July. It's an opportunity Jake's mum never

:24:26.:24:26.

imagined would happen so young... We were asked to go along to the

:24:27.:24:34.

trials and we did not expect anything more out of it, so when he

:24:35.:24:39.

got selected for that and it was for the Junior Olympics, we were over

:24:40.:24:40.

the moon. But one glance in Jake's

:24:41.:24:44.

bedroom and you can see he was always destined to be

:24:45.:24:46.

a hockey player... When I was three years old, I put my

:24:47.:25:00.

first-ever hockey kit on. It is like wanting a lifetime achievement. It

:25:01.:25:07.

is really good because you get to go all over the world and, like,

:25:08.:25:12.

America and Canada. To train, Jake makes a 130-mile

:25:13.:25:15.

round trip to training in Rotherham where his coach Chris Dyer is over

:25:16.:25:17.

the moon about his selection. He is an incredibly skilful player,

:25:18.:25:27.

if you watch them playing as he has demonstrated tonight, good control,

:25:28.:25:31.

great shots. Very good at reading the game, just a phenomenal player

:25:32.:25:34.

for someone of his age. Now he has just four months

:25:35.:25:36.

to prepare and to save up Great story and I think that Jake is

:25:37.:25:39.

the star of our night. Thanks to everyone who gave us such

:25:40.:25:46.

a warm welcome in Bransholme It was lovely to grab a selfie

:25:47.:25:49.

with people of all ages There were lots of photos

:25:50.:25:53.

taken today and we'd love you to post your pictures

:25:54.:25:57.

on our Facebook page. I knew he was coming so I thought

:25:58.:25:59.

I'd come and see him live. He looks a little bit different

:26:00.:26:04.

though, doesn't he, in real life. I don't know, he looks

:26:05.:26:12.

more chunky on telly. Right! Thank you very much indeed

:26:13.:26:19.

for that! Lovely to meet everyone there earlier today.

:26:20.:26:21.

Let's get a recap of the national and regional headlines...

:26:22.:26:23.

The Conservatives hail a historic victory as they sweep Labour aside

:26:24.:26:26.

And after the shock in the by-election, pollsters

:26:27.:26:29.

suggest Labour could lose other northern strongholds such as Hull.

:26:30.:26:32.

Wet and windy at first, slowly easing throughout the day.

:26:33.:26:36.

Drier in the east, with some brighter spells possible throughout.

:26:37.:26:38.

Labour in the northern heartlands... Peter said he has always voted

:26:39.:26:54.

Labour but will never vote for them again. Ian has said that he is not

:26:55.:27:01.

necessarily a Jeremy Corbyn fan and is not think that the problem is

:27:02.:27:07.

down to him. My people -- Michael thinks that Labour is finished.

:27:08.:27:11.

Alistair believes that Labour stopped being the party of the

:27:12.:27:14.

working man long ago and I thought was in traditional areas are waking

:27:15.:27:19.

up to the fact and are fed up with being treated as fools. Michael has

:27:20.:27:28.

said that he is surprised that Labour helped Stoke but not

:27:29.:27:31.

surprised that they lost in Copland. They are not an effective opposition

:27:32.:27:35.

and certainly not electable but the current Cabinet that they have. And

:27:36.:27:39.

Jeremy Corbyn is totally out of touch. Have a really good weekend, I

:27:40.:27:43.

will see you on Monday. Goodbye for now.
