A BBC investigation has revealed the trust that runs

:00:11.:00:14.

Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital has spent

:00:15.:00:17.

more than ?8 million on agency staff in the last financial year.

:00:18.:00:19.

The 247% rise in spending is the biggest increase

:00:20.:00:21.

The trust says the figure represents 2.6% of its budget,

:00:22.:00:29.

and the amount spent compares favourably to other trusts.

:00:30.:00:34.

A Ukip MEP for Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire has backed

:00:35.:00:37.

the leader of his party despite a poor showing

:00:38.:00:39.

Mike Hookem says Paul Nuttall has his "full support."

:00:40.:00:45.

Mr Nuttall recently made an apology after false claims

:00:46.:00:48.

appeared on his website, including a suggestion

:00:49.:00:50.

he lost close friends in the Hillsborough disaster.

:00:51.:00:59.

The Ukip leader came second to Labour in the Stoke

:01:00.:01:01.

We'll keep on fighting, because we know we are right,

:01:02.:01:06.

and I send out a personal plea to every Labour Party member,

:01:07.:01:08.

please, please, please, keep Jeremy Corbyn, because every

:01:09.:01:10.

time he opens his mouth, he puts a smile on my face.

:01:11.:01:13.

A school near Lincoln is now thought to be one

:01:14.:01:18.

of the greenest in the country after cutting its carbon

:01:19.:01:20.

It's estimated that becoming more energy efficient

:01:21.:01:25.

will save William Farr School up to ?180,000 a year.

:01:26.:01:29.

And as education budgets tighten, Lincolnshire County Council is now

:01:30.:01:31.

hoping other schools will follow in its steps.

:01:32.:01:33.

William Farr School is over 60 years old, but it's

:01:34.:01:37.

looking ahead to a more environmentally friendly future.

:01:38.:01:39.

Over the last five years, it's made big changes,

:01:40.:01:41.

like installing solar panels for electricity, and ground source

:01:42.:01:45.

heating that uses water pumped through the ground

:01:46.:01:48.

But some of their changes have been much smaller,

:01:49.:01:52.

We worked with them to help install the insulation and LED

:01:53.:01:57.

When you have the heating on, don't have the windows open,

:01:58.:02:01.

Anyone who wanted to design an eco or green sticker had a chance to get

:02:02.:02:06.

it professionally published and stuck around the school.

:02:07.:02:08.

The head says it'll take six years to cover the cost of the changes,

:02:09.:02:12.

but after that, it'll save them ?180,000 a year - money that's

:02:13.:02:14.

I'm sure I'll be facing another budget cut.

:02:15.:02:19.

It's a significant problem for all schools, but clearly

:02:20.:02:24.

if you're spending ?180,000 simply on lighting and heating,

:02:25.:02:27.

very naturally, the money not being used for that would go

:02:28.:02:30.

towards educating the children, and what could be better?

:02:31.:02:33.

The most recent addition is a ?900,000 biomass boiler

:02:34.:02:36.

The company that installed it helped the school finance the project,

:02:37.:02:41.

and says many are being put off by the costs involved.

:02:42.:02:44.

We worked with them to showcase that this actually is doable

:02:45.:02:47.

within Lincolnshire, and actually all over the UK.

:02:48.:02:50.

We know that there is funding out there, there's investors that

:02:51.:02:53.

want to do it, and there's companies like us who have the capability

:02:54.:02:56.

William Farr has been supported by Lincolnshire County Council.

:02:57.:03:04.

It says if more schools made these changes, it could revolutionise

:03:05.:03:07.

Schools make up about 66% of the council's carbon footprint,

:03:08.:03:12.

It teaches children that there is a consequence

:03:13.:03:18.

to the energy they use, and how they can reduce

:03:19.:03:21.

The county council is applying for funding for a project to help

:03:22.:03:27.

more schools cut their carbon footprint, and William Farr says

:03:28.:03:30.

they'll keep looking for ways to become more energy efficient.

:03:31.:03:32.

Sarah Walton, BBC Look North, in Lincoln.

:03:33.:03:37.

Archaeologists working on the route of Lincoln's Eastern Bypass have

:03:38.:03:40.

discovered artefacts dating back 12,000 years.

:03:41.:03:44.

They've been working between the River Witham

:03:45.:03:47.

and Washingborough Road since September.

:03:48.:03:49.

The finds include tools and high-status Roman buildings.

:03:50.:03:53.

Hull City remain second from bottom in the Premier League

:03:54.:03:56.

A second-half penalty scored by Tom Huddlestone

:03:57.:04:01.

had given City hope, but the lead was short-lived

:04:02.:04:04.

as Burnley equalised four minutes later.

:04:05.:04:06.

Head coach Marco Silva says they've still got everything to play

:04:07.:04:09.

We need to think game by game, and to take points for us

:04:10.:04:17.

in all the games, and nobody may believe we won against Liverpool

:04:18.:04:20.

All the games are important, and the fight continues.

:04:21.:04:24.

Scunthorpe United are second on goal difference in League One.

:04:25.:04:27.

An own goal from Tom Lockyer saw the Iron come from behind for a 1-1

:04:28.:04:31.

Meanwhile, Grimsby Town dropped three points

:04:32.:04:35.

The 1-0 defeat leaves them 14th in League Two.

:04:36.:04:43.

Luke Campbell retained his WBC Silver Lightweight title

:04:44.:04:46.

He knocked out Mexican Jairo Lopez in the second round.

:04:47.:04:50.

Hull's Tommy Coyle and Scunthorpe's Dec Spelman,

:04:51.:04:52.

who were fighting on the undercard, both also won their fights.

:04:53.:04:58.

And in rugby league, Hull Kingston Rovers won 48-0

:04:59.:05:00.

Lets take a look at the weather - here's Jen Bartram

:05:01.:05:06.

After quite a blustery day, we keep the strong winds as we go

:05:07.:05:12.

It will tend to ease down a touch, and there will be some clear skies,

:05:13.:05:17.

so the temperatures will be falling back to around 4 or 5 degrees,

:05:18.:05:20.

so quite a chilly start to take us into Monday morning.

:05:21.:05:23.

There should be some blue skies around, but a lot

:05:24.:05:25.

Some of these showers could have some hail, some thunder,

:05:26.:05:30.

even some sleet and snow over higher ground, but in between the showers,

:05:31.:05:33.

the sunshine will come through, and temperatures will be reaching

:05:34.:05:35.

Looking further ahead into the week, it stays unsettled -

:05:36.:05:41.

some further showers in the forecast on Tuesday, turning cloudier

:05:42.:05:43.

That's all from Look North this evening.

:05:44.:05:48.

I'm back at 10:20pm with a round up of the day's news.

:05:49.:05:51.

Good evening. The fifth named storm of the season has been affecting the

:05:52.:06:17.

west of the UK, and it was named Ewan by the Irish meteorological

:06:18.:06:20.

service because that is where the impact was expected, but it has been

:06:21.:06:24.

quite wet for some and the wettest weather is moving northwards across

:06:25.:06:27.

the North of Scotland and the stronger winds go with that. Strong

:06:28.:06:31.

winds pushing away towards the east with showers and then further

:06:32.:06:34.

showers behind overnight, and some of the showers will contain some

:06:35.:06:38.

wintry weather. It will be quite cold for the North and west of the

:06:39.:06:41.

UK, 2
