Now on BBC One, it's time for the news where you are.

:00:00.:00:11.

A family from York say they're eternally grateful to the ambulance

:00:12.:00:15.

16-month-old Poppy Palmer had gone into cardiac arrest and wasn't

:00:16.:00:21.

breathing by the time the first response car arrived,

:00:22.:00:24.

I can't believe it, how are you doing?

:00:25.:00:36.

16-month-old Poppy Palmer came face-to-face once again

:00:37.:00:40.

In February, the toddler suffered a cardiac arrest after a viral

:00:41.:00:49.

infection triggered an inflammation of her heart muscle.

:00:50.:00:53.

She's in my arms and then she's just suddenly jumped back and,

:00:54.:00:57.

at that point, had a heart attack and stopped breathing.

:00:58.:01:00.

It was very obvious that there was something very seriously

:01:01.:01:03.

By the time that Lisa Derbyshire arrived in her response

:01:04.:01:07.

car just minutes later, Poppy was lifeless.

:01:08.:01:11.

You're looking at this baby that's not breathing

:01:12.:01:15.

and is effectively dead on the floor.

:01:16.:01:19.

You've got all the family there, who just want her back breathing.

:01:20.:01:22.

I just started breathing for her and beating her heart for her,

:01:23.:01:28.

and she came back and it couldn't have been any better.

:01:29.:01:32.

Poppy was rushed to hospital but suffered another cardiac

:01:33.:01:34.

She was only given a slim chance of survival and after a week on life

:01:35.:01:48.

support, started to show signs of improvement. After three weeks in

:01:49.:01:52.

hospital, Poppy was discharged and since then has made good progress.

:01:53.:01:57.

She and her family came to see the ambulance crew involved in saving

:01:58.:02:02.

her life being recognised for their work. It is great to see people sit

:02:03.:02:06.

face-to-face to say thank you because you do not often get to do

:02:07.:02:09.

that but we cannot thank them enough. It is just a job to them but

:02:10.:02:12.

it means the world to us. Northumbria Police say they're

:02:13.:02:15.

speaking to the families of 26 people after human tissue was stored

:02:16.:02:18.

for years after their deaths. The material was found after

:02:19.:02:21.

an audit at South Tyneside Hospital. Police accept it was held

:02:22.:02:24.

for "longer than necessary" Cleveland Police have spoken to 13

:02:25.:02:26.

families affected on Teesside. That was the warning

:02:27.:02:36.

from Cleveland Fire Brigade as it launched its Easter appeal

:02:37.:02:42.

to reduce arson attacks. But the very same day,

:02:43.:02:44.

five fire crews were called to Eston Hills near Middlesbrough -

Cleveland's crews recently had to deal with 3000 fires that had

been started deliberately. The black and burnt-out

must know who they are. When the kids come home black,

not an accidental fire. Somebody's deliberately going out

they could effectively be promoted The priority, if you ask me

the question, is to go up. If we are first, much better,

:04:20.:04:27.

but we have to go up and the priority is to win games

:04:28.:04:31.

and try to play well. If we cannot, because at this stage

of the season it is very difficult for everyone,

to West Ham tomorrow. David Moyes carried on his tradition

of handing Easter eggs to the media today and he says,

despite the Black Cats' struggles at the foot of the Premier League,

:05:02.:05:04.

the players are giving their best. The players, every week,

:05:05.:05:09.

have done everything they can. At the moment, they are performing,

:05:10.:05:11.

they are giving the best they can. It's not lack of effort,

:05:12.:05:15.

it's not lack of commitment. I've said, many times,

:05:16.:05:20.

we might be lacking in a bit of quality at times,

but it's not for all the things I think they are giving

weather forecast with Paul Mooney. We have had rain today, the showers

:06:56.:07:11.

become fewer and further between. They all but died away overnight.

:07:12.:07:16.

Clear skies dominate. Clear skies and lighter winds will allow

:07:17.:07:20.

temperatures to drop away, and those of two or three Celsius. The chilly

:07:21.:07:26.

and scattered April showers. Most of and scattered April showers. Most of

:07:27.:07:30.

us will see plenty of blue skies and decent sunny spells. They will pass

:07:31.:07:35.

through quickly on that brisk north-westerly wind which will make

:07:36.:07:40.

it feel cool. 11 or 12 Celsius the high. Cold night tomorrow night.

:07:41.:07:46.

Cloudy overthrew the day, our bricks of rain later, and on Easter Monday,

:07:47.:07:51.

back to the sunshine and showers in the cold northerly wind.

:07:52.:07:53.

To think that this time last weekend, temperatures were in the

:07:54.:08:18.

20s. They got up to 25.5. Much cooler across the country this

:08:19.:08:25.

weekend. And this headline is true for the weather next week. That cool

:08:26.:08:28.

air stream from the north will persist. The mild air tries to get

:08:29.:08:33.

in, but never really wins. What have we got for the rest of today? The

rain we had across Wales earlier will move southwards, but once the
