A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murders of Tracey Wilkinson

and her 13-year-old son, Pierce, who were stabbed

at their home in Stourbridge yesterday morning.

Tributes to the family have been paid throughout the day

Once school was out, it began - a steady stream of children,

many of them from Redhill, where 13-year-old Pierce

was a pupil - gradually laying a carpet of flowers.

At the school today, fond memories of a popular boy.

Pierce was a loyal, caring and conscientious pupil.

He'll be sadly missed by all members of our school community.

Shortly before four o'clock, the police said they had charged

a 23-year-old man with the murders of Tracey and Pierce Wilkinson,

and the attempted murder of Peter Wilkinson.

That man is Aaron Barley of no fixed abode.

He is due before magistrates tomorrow.

Peter Wilkinson remains in hospital in Birmingham tonight -

his condition described as critical but stable.

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man

was found stabbed at a tram stop in Birmingham.

The man, who's believed to be in his 50s, was found collapsed

at the Benson Road tram stop, in Winson Green, around ten

British Transport Police say it's unclear whether the man was stabbed

on the platform or elsewhere and are appealing for witnesses.

What were the results of the ballot?

According to the Unite union it was overwhelmingly in favour
