You worked quite closely with them, didn't you?

To make sure that you got it as authentic as you could?

Yeah, and it's such a personal and such a private part

of their life, their experience of what happened, that there is no

way we would have made it unless they gave their consent

and if at any point in the process they would have said it would have

been painful to us but it they'd said this can't happen then

TANNOY: Rhys's family have requested that we remember their beloved son

not by the traditional minute's silence but by applause.

On the referee's whistle, can you please pay tribute

to a young boy who loved life and loved Everton football club.

Did they tell you why they wanted to help with the drama?

The most important thing was to honour Rhys and his memory.

I think they felt very passionate, they want people

to understand what family goes through in a situation like that

and I think they wanted those responsible for the murder

One little detail, and I'm not betraying confidence because it's

in the finished piece, but I was with Melanie and Stephen

and Steve went out to make a cup of coffe and she just lent

across and said you do know we split for a while?

I was astonished because they are such a tight,

close couple but the pressure of the grief and coping

with everything that happened even drove them apart briefly

I'll do my utmost to get whoever did this and anyone

I have watched the first episode and I had to be honest,

I found it quite harrowing, I found it a very difficult

watch and at times I was in tears watching it.

I just wonder, have they been able to watch, have Melanie and Steve

Yes, they have now watched all four episodes, they wanted

to watch at their own pace, in their own privacy

but they watched them all back to back and there were a lot

of tears but it was, my strong impression

calls his cancer journey - five years ago he was told he had

bowel cancer and shortly afterwards Today he was trying to raise

awareness of his illness. I have lost so many friends to

cancer, it is horrible and I think the more that can be done to raise

awareness of Saint 's... -- of symptoms.

and since diagnosis he's completed 24 marathons.

He was training for one when he first experienced symptoms

such as loose stools and unexpected weight loss.

If we can try and help other people understand how cancer symptoms, the

earlier people are diagnosed, in 90% of cases, people can be cured.

Bowel cancer is the nations second biggest cancer killer,

If you're registered with a GP and aged 60-74, you will

receive a test in the post for free every two years,

but here in the Nortn West On average only 53% of people

People might be embarrassed to do the test, people might feel well so

there is no need to do the test and people might be afraid and not want

to know. He's currently undergoing further

treatment to prolong his life. He has defied all statistics because

normally statistics for stage four disease is about four and half years

has doubled his statistics and one of the main reasons it is

positivity. We want to make sure other people enjoy their lives and

don't have to be facing five-year battle with stage four cancer.

voters from across the Liverpool city region will be heading

to the ballot box to choose From Crosby to Croxteth,

from Huyton to Haydock, from Litherland to Liverpool,

representing 1.5 million people across the city will be one of

the new Mayor's biggest challenges. I'm off to find out

if the candidate are up to the job. We've had a lot of projects in Kirby

over the past few years and none We need loads of things

to improve in Kirby, Everything is shutting

and there's nothing here. They say they are going to improve

everything and they are just taking I want to build a city region that

works for everybody, Being from outside of the city

originally I understand how important it is for all residents

of all of the authorities around the city region to make sure

they get their fair share Issues like directing

industrial development, all of those kind of things

will help make people in the regions like Saint Helens,

the Wirral and the other outlying boroughs feel as though

they are part of this project, How do you represent fairly areas

of social deprivation, which sit very near areas

of huge wealth? The Mayor has got to be

a Mayor for all the people, from all of the candidates,

we represent the whole of the city region but the city region

is so diverse it makes it almost an impossible task but nonetheless

it is a task they have I think we can get investment,

I think we can get economic growth. I think we can do stuff on skills

and housing and transport and all sorts of things but the main

thing is trying to get us all working together,

pulling in the same direction. Every year we lose ?23 billion

because of the gender pay gap and that is just not people's

salaries but all of the unaffordable childcare, all of the challenges

that women face today. I say, unlock the potential

and we will have a really Tomorrow, we will be talking

about the big issue of transport and talking to three other

for Manchester City No, there won't be a trophy

in Pep Guardiola's first season in charge after the blues

time to Arsenal. There was so much optimism wasn't

there when the Blues went on that long unbeaten run at the start

of the season. But it's been a frustrating campaign

overall, with a top four finish in the Premier League

by no means guaranteed. So what does Guardiola

need to do now? I've been sounding out some

of the Blues faithful and one Disappointment after a match, which

at one point looked like Manchester city's for the taking. COMMENTATOR:

missing out on the domestic trophies, I think as a learning

process he will be happy with that. The focus for that Guardiola is to

pick his team up ahead of a huge Manchester derby against Manchester

in their push for a top four finish Phillipe Countinho's stunning free

kick gave Liverpool the lead at home to Crystal Palace

to his flock. I think he truly thinks he belongs

with them. He wanders around with them. If a cow gives him a nudge, he

gives one back. I think he prefers the company.

He is him morning and night without fail. It drives me a bit mad because

he is taking up the space of a cow but he is part of the team! Does he

We had a sunny weekend but quite chilly. The air was quite cool. The

air has got cooler as we have gone through the day-to-day. The pictures

show cloud cover this morning. That was a cold front that dropped south.

Behind it there was much colder and we stay in that cold air as we go

through to Wednesday. I would not say we are warmer but we are less

cold through Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. At the weekend it will go

one way or the other so don't ask me yet! The detail is a lucid. The

story tonight is cold temperatures. Two Celsius for the most part, so

quite a few degrees colder in rural areas. At the minute it looks funny.

A lot of clear whether around but there will be one or two macro

showers working their way through. They could be a little bit wintry in

nature. It will not amount to anything at all. The story for most

of us is that cold air is sending everywhere and those temperatures

when you get up first thing tomorrow morning will be quite chilly. We go

into Tuesday and from the word go the sun will be there but if you

look at the blue on the map if you watch the timeline it will take some

time for the day to warm up but that sunshine is valuable, it will do its

thing. However as you go through the day here come the shower. They are

coming to us from the other side of the Pennines, the Pennines will take

most of them out but across the region there could be sleet, snow or

hail. In other places a few spots of rain from time to time but at two

that a wind chill with that northerly wind biting and

temperatures might look not too bad at nine or 10 Celsius but it will

feel a lot colder than that, especially when the showers coming.

It could fall by five Celsius. When we get towards summit wed be warmer

or hotter, it will just be less cold! No, it will be warm! For the

weekend we are not sure what is going to happen! Thank you, we will
