Good evening from Points West.

More than 500 people had to be moved on by the police

over the Easter weekend,

as two illegal raves took place in Wiltshire.

On Saturday night, officers seized sound equipment at Quebec Farm

at Chitterne, on the edge of Salisbury Plain,

and were then called to another event 15 miles away, the next day.

Andy Howard has this report.

Another bank holiday weekend, another illegal rave

near Salisbury Plain.

This old farm shed was turned into a remote nightclub.

About 500 to 1,000 people crammed into here on Saturday night

and this is what's left today - bags of alcohol, broken glass on the

floor, there is even a tent left from someone's Easter weekend.

Today, when we were filming, one late-night raver came back,

with fond memories.

It was amazing, really.

Everyone having fun, everyone chilled out, loved up.

There's fighting in town centres, brawling with people,

but when you come to a party like this they

are all from different walks of life and it's all happy and fun, and then

you go home and get back to your normal day jobs.

But it all makes the day job more of a night shift

for the neighbouring farmers.

Yeah, they were coming across the field, right across the farm.

Any which way they could.

Jane and her staff were up all night.

Police were called to stop the hundreds turning into thousands.

The Force helicopter flew above the farm.

We had cattle in this field which are now

in the shed because the fence is broken, there and at the other end,

where, obviously, people just went through.

This all brings back memories of 2009, when 4000 turned up

here for a similar party.

Anger.

Just real anger and the adrenaline was just rushing

because I was so angry at just...

The sheer recklessness of it all.

They just do not understand the damage they can cause

when they are en masse.

And they just think they have the right to just go anywhere

they like and do what they like.

Things like that shouldn't really be happening.

People should have a bit more respect when they are coming down

these sort of places.

But I think it's everyone trying to get

there, and once you're trying to get back and you've had your parties

and things, trying to find your way home, you just stumble

across everywhere.

But I don't think it is at all done deliberately.

But with a second illegal rave just 15 miles away

near Amesbury the following day, it's been quite an Easter weekend

for the farmers and villagers around the Salisbury Plain.

A cash machine has been stolen from inside a supermarket in Malmesbury.

Thieves broke into the town's Waitrose store sometime

between Saturday and Sunday - it's thought a vehicle was used

to take away the cash machine, after windows were smashed to get

into the supermarket.

Its not clear how much money was inside at the time.

An original 18th Century theatre wall, which has been hidden

for hundred of years, has been exposed as part

of the building's restoration.

The Bristol Old Vic theatre is undergoing major building work.

And, as a 1970s structure was demolished, the original wall

of the theatre can been seen for the very firs time -

Lee Madan explains.

After years of fundraising and months of demolition work

knocking down the building that blocks it from view.

The Bristol Old Vic now stands exposed.

Behind us you can now see the original theatre wall.

When it was first built, it was hidden behind two houses

which stood here on King Street, owned by a Mr Foot and a Mr Gill.

If you wanted to get to the theatre, you had to knock on the door and ask

to be taken through.

Depending who you ask, it was either because it was really

Either way, without Mr Foot and Mr Gill's cooperation

there would never have been in Old Vic.

Their houses have been be placed several times over the years,

meaning that the theatre itself has stayed hidden - until now.

But, despite the many rebuilds, parts of Mr Foot's house remain

visible among the rubble.

We're finding little bits of his house still in existence actually,

because even though much of the 18th-century fabric was taken

down in the early 20th century, and of course, it's all gone again

now, we're were still finding...

We found a fireplace, bits of brickwork from his house,

so we're trying to bring his character alive again.

Maybe when people become and visit here next year when we're reopened,

we'll be able to tell the story of Mr Foot a little bit.

Not all of the money for this multi-million pound rebuild

has been raised yet.

There's still ?300,000 to go.

The public will be asked to contribute to the final push

with donations this autumn, then the building work is due to be

completed next summer.

victory over Grimsby Town.

Yeovil had a comfortable 3-0 win over Crewe.

But in the National League Forest Green Rovers lost 2-0 to bottom

of the table Southport.

A lot of the cloud that has been with us all day

is starting to break up.

We have one or two isolated showers out there

but, with largely clearing skies, overnight tonight it is going to

turn rather chilly, and that sets the scene for the rest of this week.

We are going to see some fairly cool nights, one or two spots tonight

could get down close to freezing, so do be prepared for a touch

of frost first thing tomorrow.

A beautiful day, dry and bright, plenty of

sunshine, almost broken for many of us, just a bit

of fairweather cloud building at times during the afternoon.

Temperatures recovering quite nicely, we have light winds

tomorrow so pleasant enough in the sunshine.

One or two spots could hit 14 degrees.

And as we head through the rest of this week very little

rain in the forecast, if at all - so, dry and bright, a lot

of sunshine, but by night it is staying cold and frosty.
