People are urged not to arrive at any Bristol hospital or Yeovil

The President-Elect's Cadillac that's now in Gloucester.

We're getting reports of hospitals across the Points West

Yeovil District Hospital says it may have to postpone some operations

and is asking people not to come to A unless absolutely necessary.

And in Bristol, all the hospitals are on their highest level of alert.

Our health correspondent Matthew Hill joins me now.

Matthew, what do we know at the moment.

This is the worst we have heard about senseless alert system came in

a few months ago. Four is the worst, to getting busy. For being so busy

that you will have to cancel some routine operations. And then the

Yeovil District Hospital, 80 emergency patients were admitted.

The hospital says it has postponed elective operations when it was safe

to do so. They are rated as three. Busy but coping. But in the Bristol

and North Somerset, South Gloucestershire area, they are down

to number four. Extremely busy. They are going to have to cancel some

scheduled operations. We do not know about the system in Gloucestershire

or Wiltshire yet. We hope to bring you some news about that this

evening. What are you meant to do if you're waiting for another original?

Make sure that you avoid going to A with minor ailments and

emergencies, dial NHS 111. A terminally ill mum from Portishead

- who says her New Year's resolution is to live through 2017 -

is calling for a life-extending drug to continue to be

available on the NHS. Heidi Loughlin, has breast

it gives for patients. A 34-year-old man has been arrested

on suspicion of arson in connection with a fire

at a school in Wiltshire. The Avenue Primary

in Warminster will be closed today while the extent

of the damage is assessed. The fire began shortly

after three in the morning and was extinguished

in about an hour. The school's head teacher says

the children's centre and nursery There's concern for the welfare

of a man missing from Bridgwater. Duncan Fieldhouse is 55 years

old and has learning difficulties so police say he may

appear confused or distraught. He was last seen at his

home yesterday morning. It's possible he's now

Points West, Gloucester. Now all this year on Points West,

we are going to be celebrating 60 To mark our Diamond anniversary,

we've invited some celebrities with West Country connections to be

guest reporters for us. The Bristol actor Joe Sims,

who starred in Broadchurch, has been behind the scenes

with the Concorde maintenance team at Filton and has been looking

at her history as she's prepared for her move into a new aviation

museum later this year. 216 was one of 10 Concordes built

at Filton in the 1960s and '70s. It was built by an army of local

engineers and designers. After her first UK flight

from Filton to RAF Fairford Once in operation, the aircraft

cruised at more than twice the speed of sound, flying at an altitude

of 60,000 feet. Passengers lapped up the fine

dining and paid thousands The fleet was eventually grounded

over financial and safety concerns. But although 216's champagne days

are over, she is about to be Later in the year, Concorde

is going to be moving here, where she is going to be the star

attraction of Aerospace Bristol, a ?19 million museum dedicated

to the aviation history When it opens in the summer,

this attraction will take visitors on a journey,

from 1910 when Sir George White turned tram sheds into an aircraft

factory in Filton. Stories about the earliest flight

in box kites over the Downs, the Concorde years, and of course,

the latest aerospace technology will all be captured under one

brilliant Bristolian roof. The museum's taking shape but now

an enormous technical Actually getting Concorde

in here is going to be one heck of a piece of logistics,

which means dismantling some of the building and tarring

all the way across the airfield. She's got to come right

into position, because all the stairs coming off here will be

there ready to meet her. So she has got to get there

within about a centimetre or so. That is the margin for

error, a centimetre? A centimetre here and a metre or so

coming in through the building. You are feeling confident,

everything is ready, It's going to be such

a big year for Concorde. Joe Symonds and the manager of the

museum will be coming in this evening.

Time for the weather now with Holly Green.

It's been a fairly cloudy morning for most of us and fairly grey

looking photos from our weather Watchers, although you can

see a few holes trying to break through that cloud.

As we head through the afternoon, hopefully a few more

of those holes appearing, but in general many of us fairly

cloudy, especially the further west you are and a little bit of patchy

rain and drizzle where the cloud is as well.

But improving for most of us a little bit I think

through the course of the afternoon, and temperatures around

Now as we head into tonight and that is when those skies

finally clear and that means a cold one.

Widespread hard frost on the way for tonight,

maybe a few mist and freezing fog patches as well.

These are typical temperatures but we could locally see as much

as -6 or minus eight degrees being in the cold spots.
