A memorial bridge has been opened in South Korea today in honour

of a Gloucestershire regiment that fought in the Korean War.

The Gloucester Heroes Bridgd spans a valley near the site

of the Battle of Imjin River, which remains the bloodiest battle

fought by British forces since World War II.

Here's our Gloucestershire reporter, Steve Knibbs.

It was often called the Forgotten War, but South Korea

breeze freshens. For western Scotland, it should be a decent day

after a chilly start. There will be some sunshine, and largely dry.

Eastern Scotland, showers have been more widely. On the whole, for

northern parts of the UK, temperatures will be lower than

today.
