Police say they're still searching for

a man they want to question after a serious assault in Tiverton

last night in which a woman was stabbed.

Armed officers were called to the Old Railway Line at Cowley moor,

after reports that a 27`year`old woman had been stabbed

Police say the woman is receiving treatment

for her injuries and their search for her attacker is continuhng.

Worried in terms of his own welfare in terms of state of mind, not

worried about any other members of the community, but we would

encourage him if he is award of the coverage to come forward.

Falmouth is having one of its busiest weekends on record as

Good evening. We still have some showers in parts of the UK with

heavier ones in North East Scotland close to this low pressure. There is

a deeper low in the Atlantic, the former hurricane, which is moving

towards Iceland. Ahead of that through the night and tomorrow, we

see pressure building. That clears away the showers and for many

tomorrow will be drier and clearer with lighter winds and feeling

warmer. As we start Sunday morning, bright skies breakthrough across

parts of South West England with temperatures about 15 degrees

already. Dry weather along the South coast and into North East Anglia.

Some showers first thing in the morning in North West England but

they will be light and well scattered. Northern Ireland will be

dry and bright but changes in the afternoon. In western Scotland the

morning is dry and fine with sunshine but more cloud is possible
