Around 50 firefighters will stay in Exeter overnight,

to continue damping down hotspots in what remains of the

Demolition of what's left of the historic building's facade

The engineers have been assdssing the facade, and hope to bring it

down when it is safe. The epuipment is expected to arrive tomorrow, and

it is anticipated the demolhtion work will start on Tuesday.

The fire has caused problems for visitors and businesses

This morning the disruption also caused the Cathedral's tradhtional

Sunday communion service to be moved to the nearby chapter house.

Those attending were glad the service went ahead as planned.
