Hallo and welcome to the One Show with Patrick Kielty, Alex Jones and

:00:18.:00:23.

Iwan Thomas. We are welcoming, direct from Heathrow, each with a

:00:24.:00:29.

medal around their necks, 30 of our Olympic heroes.

:00:30.:00:31.

CHEERING The first on our red carpet, it is

:00:32.:00:40.

the women's flyweight gold medallist, Nicola Adams! With her,

:00:41.:00:47.

the superheavyweight medal winner, Joe Joyce. And Josh Buatsi. We've

:00:48.:00:57.

also got our amazing golden hockey team led by the captain Kate

:00:58.:01:00.

Richardson-Walsh, Helen Richardson-Walsh and goalkeeper

:01:01.:01:05.

Maddie Finch. CHEERING Joined by Hannah Macleod, Susannah

:01:06.:01:13.

Townsend, Alex Danson, Lily Owsley, Georgie Twigg, Sophie Bray, Laura

:01:14.:01:21.

Unsworth and Crista Cullen. We have the gold winning sailors Hannah

:01:22.:01:26.

Mills and Saskia Clarke and the kayak gold winners Joe Clarke and

:01:27.:01:33.

Liam Heath. And from the pool, the double Silver Medal winner, Jazz

:01:34.:01:45.

Carlin. We have the rowers, Helen Glover, Matthew Langridge, Matt

:01:46.:01:50.

Gotrel and William Satch with gold medals and Silver Medal winning

:01:51.:01:52.

Polly Swan and Karen Bennett. We have the one and only gold winning

:01:53.:01:58.

medallist -- gold-medal winning cyclist Ed Clancy and from the rugby

:01:59.:02:05.

sevens, Dan Bibby, Phil Burgess and Tom Mitchell winning silver medal

:02:06.:02:12.

was. Team GB, everyone! Add Silver Medal 's. -- silver medals. We have

:02:13.:02:20.

to thank them for their performances in Rio and for delaying their return

:02:21.:02:24.

home to be with us. We are joined by Will Satch, Laura Unsworth, Hannah

:02:25.:02:31.

Mills and Saskia Clarke and the boxer, Nicola Adams. Nicola, talk us

:02:32.:02:39.

through the flight. Basically it looked like a party bus all the way

:02:40.:02:44.

home. Yeah it was, a lot of fun, British Airways did a good job

:02:45.:02:48.

entertaining us and it was nice to feel appreciated for the hard work

:02:49.:02:53.

we did in Rio. A long flight, who stuck the place and who faded? I

:02:54.:03:01.

think I was the first one to fade! Well, you had a special set, I

:03:02.:03:05.

believe? I flew the flight back with Adam Peaty! All the way. There he is

:03:06.:03:14.

at the front. One of the brilliant things, previous Olympics apparently

:03:15.:03:16.

all of the medal winners are meant to be in the seats up front but this

:03:17.:03:23.

time we had more medal winners than those seats, so how did it work? I

:03:24.:03:28.

don't know but somehow we ended up and the front, it was amazing. Best

:03:29.:03:34.

experience ever. I'm looking at the Lady at the end, Laura, I saw a

:03:35.:03:37.

picture of someone dressed as British Airways cabin crew. 70 extra

:03:38.:03:43.

bottles of champagne on the flight. Are you responsible for where they

:03:44.:03:48.

went? Maybe! It was the hockey girls's fault, we had the majority.

:03:49.:03:52.

We thought we would give the hostess is a rest and do their jobs for

:03:53.:03:58.

them. I think you did very well. Saskia, we saw a tweet from you with

:03:59.:04:03.

your luggage yourself and Hannah. Was it a good idea to have all of

:04:04.:04:09.

Team GB with the same red bag when you got back to the airport? It

:04:10.:04:13.

looked a nightmare but I think we got lucky because we were taken to a

:04:14.:04:17.

press conference and our bags arrived there. Then we forgot about

:04:18.:04:21.

them, actually. Behind you, the hockey girls who were starting the

:04:22.:04:26.

singing, when you were taking off from Rio, was the singing still

:04:27.:04:31.

happening whenever Nicola was walking off the plane? I think that

:04:32.:04:34.

the hockey girls were partying into the night, I think that they win.

:04:35.:04:41.

They are the hard-core? Yeah. Nicola, first off the plane, we'll

:04:42.:04:45.

was flying the plane home, Laura was in charge of champagne, the hockey

:04:46.:04:50.

girls in charge of singing and Hannah and -- Hannah and Saskia

:04:51.:04:54.

making sure the banks were sorted. Give it up for flying home Team GB

:04:55.:05:01.

-- the bags. CHEERING Plenty of celebrations on the way

:05:02.:05:07.

home. The good news is that the celebrations will continue with a

:05:08.:05:11.

parade in Manchester. You were part of the 20 12th two, can you describe

:05:12.:05:17.

the feeling of being on the bus -- the tour in 2012. Is it the best

:05:18.:05:23.

feeling? Yes, fantastic to go away and have so much success, and

:05:24.:05:27.

sharing it with the nation who gave us so much support, that's what it's

:05:28.:05:30.

all about. The streets are going to be packed. Job, I heard that as a

:05:31.:05:38.

tribute to you, there is something special happening? -- Joe. My town

:05:39.:05:44.

is organising a homecoming for me, which is an honour and they are

:05:45.:05:48.

going to parade me around in a canoe. They are going to carry you

:05:49.:05:52.

down the street in a canoe? Six people are going to carry me round

:05:53.:05:57.

and parade me and hopefully there will be a good reception back home

:05:58.:06:00.

in stone. Some good Twitter moments coming on. There will be some good

:06:01.:06:06.

selfies from the top of the canoe. Can I just squeeze in. Helen Connor

:06:07.:06:10.

you have done this before, you have a parade in Penzance -- Helen, you

:06:11.:06:17.

have done this before. There is a lot of talk about receiving honours

:06:18.:06:20.

but you don't think it should be automatic? I feel like bringing the

:06:21.:06:25.

medals home is the most important thing, that's our job, anything else

:06:26.:06:29.

is an amazing extra but it isn't something we expect. If it comes it

:06:30.:06:34.

is a bonus and it shows the country is proud but we want to bring the

:06:35.:06:37.

medals home and anything else is special. Absolutely. I will swap

:06:38.:06:45.

with you. At the end, Matt, a golden rower. Great Britain, second in the

:06:46.:06:49.

world, everybody, isn't that an achievement! CHEERING

:06:50.:06:56.

When you were out in Rio, were you feeling the pressure in terms of

:06:57.:07:00.

Japan? I think we were focused on our own event and really focused on

:07:01.:07:05.

winning. When the first medal came in it started rolling and

:07:06.:07:11.

snowballed, when the floodgates opened it kept going and before we

:07:12.:07:14.

know it we were climbing up the table and by the end, the last

:07:15.:07:17.

couple of days we were pushing to really try and keep that second

:07:18.:07:20.

place, which is an amazing achievement. When you go to Tokyo,

:07:21.:07:24.

do you think that there will be a lot of pressure on Team GB? Yeah it

:07:25.:07:29.

is going to be hard, the Chinese won't be happy that we have taken

:07:30.:07:33.

their spot in the second place so they are going to push pretty hard.

:07:34.:07:37.

Nobody thought we could surpass London and we have done. I think

:07:38.:07:42.

that the sky is the limit. Definitely. I have to say, you look

:07:43.:07:47.

very fresh. Have you had a shower yet, have you been home? I have had

:07:48.:07:51.

a shower but I haven't had any sleep. You all look superb.

:07:52.:07:59.

Brilliant. Well, we've got 30 medallists with us from boxy,

:08:00.:08:04.

hockey, sailing, kayaking and rugby and of course we are going to hear

:08:05.:08:09.

about the highs and lows -- boxing. And the four years of training

:08:10.:08:13.

leading up to the Olympics. First it is only right, shall we do it one

:08:14.:08:17.

more time, shall we look at some more golden moments? Here we go.

:08:18.:08:24.

COMMENTATOR: He is bringing it home, this is brilliant, he has

:08:25.:08:31.

obliterated the world record. Olympic champion, Adam Peaty of

:08:32.:08:35.

Great Britain. Joe Clarke of Great Britain is the Olympic champion. It

:08:36.:08:44.

is gold, pure gold, they've done it. It is a golden start for Great

:08:45.:08:49.

Britain. Great Britain, Glover and Stanning, they are history makers.

:08:50.:08:54.

They are the Olympic champions. It was never in doubt. Well done, Great

:08:55.:08:59.

Britain, from the gun to the tape, the entire way. The awesome foursome

:09:00.:09:06.

have done it. Out of this world. Historic moment for British sport as

:09:07.:09:12.

well. Max Whitlock, double Olympic champion. Justin Rose of Great

:09:13.:09:22.

Britain takes Olympic gold. Laura Trott is Britain's most successful

:09:23.:09:28.

female Olympian of all time. It's a golden hat-trick in Rio for Jason

:09:29.:09:34.

Kenny. Andy Murray is a double Olympic gold medallist. Giles Scott

:09:35.:09:41.

winning Great Britain's fifth Olympic gold-medal in the men's

:09:42.:09:47.

heavyweight class. A glorious golden double four Alistair Brownlee. Gold

:09:48.:09:50.

medal, Hannah Mills and Saskia Clarke. The Welsh wonder striking

:09:51.:09:58.

gold again. Nick Skelton, a big start, taking gold for Great

:09:59.:10:01.

Britain. Extraordinary performance. Great Britain, the history makers,

:10:02.:10:11.

the hockey history makers. Liam Heath, the most successful British

:10:12.:10:17.

Olympic paddler of all time. Nicola Adams with a triumphant roar, being

:10:18.:10:21.

crowned Olympic champion for the second successive time. Mo is going

:10:22.:10:27.

to get gold for Great Britain again. The double double, four Olympic gold

:10:28.:10:38.

medals. They can't get past Mo So many fantastic moments, but

:10:39.:10:43.

Friday nights, between Nick Skelton and these girls, the hockey girls, I

:10:44.:10:48.

was on the floor! Is so were many others. So emotional.

:10:49.:10:55.

Congratulations, Kate, as the captain, after 13 gruelling years

:10:56.:10:58.

you have got the gold, after bronze in London which was fantastic. You

:10:59.:11:03.

stepped on the plane not knowing how it was going to go, but you have

:11:04.:11:07.

stepped off having inspired many young girls. How different was

:11:08.:11:11.

stepping off the plane compared to when you got on? I was so emotional,

:11:12.:11:16.

it has been the most epic two weeks of our lives. We hope we have

:11:17.:11:21.

inspired youngsters and older people do go out and have a go. You

:11:22.:11:26.

absolutely have to. You got to carry the flag. Yeah. It was epic, the

:11:27.:11:32.

weather was truly British, rain and wind. We could see people with

:11:33.:11:37.

umbrellas and I thought hang on, this is supposed to be Rio. The

:11:38.:11:42.

Copacabana, what happened? It was good, standing with the flag,

:11:43.:11:47.

representing Team GB. Every athlete has done very well, whether you

:11:48.:11:50.

medal or not, everybody gave everything. Helen, you scored one of

:11:51.:11:56.

the winning penalties -- medal. How did you cope with the pressure? I

:11:57.:12:01.

don't know anything about hockey but I was on the edge of my sofa. Quite

:12:02.:12:08.

relieved it went in. I knew that if we got a couple of goals, then Maddy

:12:09.:12:13.

would save at least a couple of theirs. We had a shoot out

:12:14.:12:17.

competition against Dutch in the Europeans and I think they were a

:12:18.:12:21.

bit afraid going into the shoot at. Maddy, you had the best, it is

:12:22.:12:25.

written on your water bottle, the same thing that we have on the

:12:26.:12:31.

bottom of gin and tonics. What is it? Stay big? We can write that on

:12:32.:12:39.

it tonight. How do you relax in a penalty shoot out? You just keep

:12:40.:12:45.

looking at these guys, you forget about the millions of people

:12:46.:12:48.

watching and you just imagine you are back at Bish, doing the

:12:49.:12:52.

training. You train for those moments -- Bisham. Really confident

:12:53.:12:59.

going into it. Amazing because you didn't make the last Olympics, this

:13:00.:13:04.

is your first and you were absolutely great. A lot of girls

:13:05.:13:08.

will be interested in getting into a team like you guys. How do you go

:13:09.:13:15.

about it, what's the best way? Go to your local hockey, wherever the

:13:16.:13:18.

nearest place is, they can give you eight stick in your hand, get used

:13:19.:13:23.

to what it feels like -- a stick. That is what we did and now we are

:13:24.:13:28.

here with the ultimate around our necks, it is really that simple. You

:13:29.:13:33.

have got one. This is the thing, you have been together for so long, what

:13:34.:13:37.

is it going to be like when you finally say goodbye and go home?

:13:38.:13:42.

Really emotional, we were just saying that we don't know what to do

:13:43.:13:46.

with ourselves because we are used to being together 24-7 for the last

:13:47.:13:50.

three weeks and we won't know what to do. It will be so quiet! Speaking

:13:51.:13:56.

of quiet, I need to find out who is the lead singer because... Where is

:13:57.:14:05.

she? Someone is always in a chorus of singing "Free from desire!" Why

:14:06.:14:14.

that song? I don't know, the crowd were so good, we had so much family,

:14:15.:14:19.

they started it and one of the boyfriends had a drum and it became

:14:20.:14:24.

the song of that game and then the song of every night and then the

:14:25.:14:28.

song on the plane. It is a good chance. It is going to be the song

:14:29.:14:33.

of every reunion that you have, even when you are old! Because you are

:14:34.:14:39.

superstitious, that has to be your song for life now. Girls, thank you

:14:40.:14:45.

so much, it is a joy to have you with us. You have inspired so many

:14:46.:14:49.

young girls, and older ones actually! We are going to your Mac

:14:50.:14:54.

now. The water now, Saskia and Hannah, silver in 2012, can you

:14:55.:15:00.

believe you are in London with a gold medal? -- going to Iwan. By

:15:01.:15:06.

donor when it will sink in. It isn't a dream -- I don't know when it will

:15:07.:15:13.

sink in. It is an adrenaline rush, being on the plane and seeing our

:15:14.:15:17.

families again that we have missed for a month, it is so amazing, I

:15:18.:15:23.

can't begin to describe it. In Rio, how did you get up for the last day,

:15:24.:15:27.

you knew that as long as you didn't sink, you were gold medallists, how

:15:28.:15:28.

did you prepare? Hanna checked the boat about 20

:15:29.:15:39.

times. We just went through the normal routine. We just had to go

:15:40.:15:45.

out and do it and get through the race. Luckily it was great. Well

:15:46.:15:54.

done, everyone. Brilliant. And a man who had big shoes to fill, my heart

:15:55.:16:00.

was in my mouth, after the first day you were in 17th place of 23. What

:16:01.:16:09.

went wrong? I just had a shocker on that first race. Fortunately I had

:16:10.:16:15.

another and I pulled my socks up and ended up winning. If anyone wants to

:16:16.:16:22.

get into sailing at home, what can they do? There are local sailing

:16:23.:16:26.

club is all around the country, just find one of those. There are many

:16:27.:16:32.

beginners courses. It is a great sport, not that well known but give

:16:33.:16:37.

it a go. And do they have to be as tall as you are? No, you just met

:16:38.:16:45.

Hannah! Good point. Joe, for me your celebration was one of the best. On

:16:46.:16:51.

paper you were not meant to win? It is always good to defy the odds. We

:16:52.:16:54.

heard about your celebration, you have come back to London Olympic

:16:55.:16:59.

champion, and you will be walking through the town. I think it is

:17:00.:17:07.

sinking in, I have had a bit more time to get my head around it,

:17:08.:17:12.

finishing early on. Stepping off the plane was getting back to reality,

:17:13.:17:17.

the crowd reminding me what it was like to be on top of the podium

:17:18.:17:24.

again. Have you been having early nights? Obviously! Correct answer! I

:17:25.:17:30.

love the gym, how can I get shoulders like that! The strength

:17:31.:17:36.

programme, what we put into the programme, it is a crucial part of

:17:37.:17:40.

it. We have gone for strength to weight ratio. And you have come home

:17:41.:17:46.

with extra weight around your neck, two medals. You dream of it but

:17:47.:17:51.

having them hanging round your neck is just amazing. Is there enough

:17:52.:17:56.

time for me to get my shoulders big enough? I hope so.

:17:57.:18:04.

Back to you. Who can forget Adam Peaty's grandmother, she became

:18:05.:18:08.

famous watching her grandson become the 100 metre breaststroke champion.

:18:09.:18:13.

And what about the families of other Team GB members? We have been to

:18:14.:18:16.

meet some of those who watched from home.

:18:17.:18:24.

I'm the father of Jack Laugher. I did not go to Rio, my wife and

:18:25.:18:29.

daughter and her friends did. I preferred to be at home because I am

:18:30.:18:34.

quite nervous. I preferred to stay and watch it on the telly with our

:18:35.:18:41.

feed the dog. The first competition was Synchro, Jack and Chris

:18:42.:18:46.

together. It was something I looked forward to for four years. It

:18:47.:18:51.

suddenly hit me just how big this was. I just burst into tears. It was

:18:52.:18:56.

just all the pressure, the expectation that had built up over

:18:57.:19:04.

such a long time. It is gold for Jack and Chris! The memory of the

:19:05.:19:10.

whole event was seeing Jack kneeling down just in tears, pouring out of

:19:11.:19:16.

him. When he comes to CS he will be bringing medals. Our boys, Jack

:19:17.:19:27.

Colson! -- when he comes to see us. Jack calls them. Tonight all the

:19:28.:19:37.

family is here and so excited. I spoke to my daughter last night and

:19:38.:19:44.

asked how she was. A big moment, the semifinal. 50 seconds to decide. The

:19:45.:19:59.

headshot. Commiserations. I am in shock at the moment. It is OK, it is

:20:00.:20:07.

fine. We wanted gold but we will go for bronze. There she is! Cracking

:20:08.:20:27.

shot. There is another one. Very proud of the anchor. Now she is a

:20:28.:20:35.

bronze medallist in the Olympics. -- Bianca. My name is Meg Barker. In

:20:36.:20:45.

the lead up to the race I was more nervous than Eleanor. She seemed to

:20:46.:20:48.

handle it really well, just enjoying the experience. What an Olympic

:20:49.:20:54.

final we have on our hands. I watched Eleanor here in my house in

:20:55.:21:03.

Manchester. When it came on I was not relaxed, I was so scared! It is

:21:04.:21:10.

going to be a ride to glory. I could not sit still, I was pacing around

:21:11.:21:16.

the living room. My sister went up to the crowd and my family was

:21:17.:21:21.

there, I burst into tears. I never cry but I cried my eyes out. I just

:21:22.:21:25.

wanted to be there and celebrate with them.

:21:26.:21:32.

Seeing Eleanor on the podium getting the medal was surreal. It was 12

:21:33.:21:37.

years ago this week we had our first session together and never thought

:21:38.:21:40.

it would be like this. We just did it for fun. I have never seen her

:21:41.:21:45.

smile like that, I could tell how happy she was. It makes sense that

:21:46.:21:51.

the supportive friends and families were key as well as the hard work,

:21:52.:21:55.

obviously, to the success of Team GB. Jazz Carlin, congratulations.

:21:56.:22:03.

You paid tribute to your father, saying he started you off when you

:22:04.:22:08.

were little. What age was that? As soon as I could get in the water,

:22:09.:22:13.

from a baby, I was never afraid. He used to take me every week. So I

:22:14.:22:19.

have a lot to thank him for. And your mum and dad managed to make it

:22:20.:22:24.

over to support you. Was it more or less pressure to have them there? I

:22:25.:22:29.

always like to see them in the stands, my dad always raised in a

:22:30.:22:34.

Rangers shirt! It is nice knowing that they're there. They have been

:22:35.:22:39.

there throughout Myhill career. And your dad take some credit, he said

:22:40.:22:44.

it was his lucky shirt that did it! It was definitely not! He can get

:22:45.:22:52.

rid of that! And fact of the day, your mum cannot actually swim. My

:22:53.:22:57.

mum doesn't like swimming, she has never been comfortable in the water.

:22:58.:23:01.

On holiday I tried to get her in but she's not a big fan, it was my dad

:23:02.:23:07.

who got me into swimming. You have trained so hard, what was the food

:23:08.:23:13.

that you dream does after all that? I'm missing my mum and cooking, I

:23:14.:23:19.

just a nice home roast dinner. As soon as I finished completing it was

:23:20.:23:25.

onto the pizza and ice cream. All the people in Swansea are thrilled.

:23:26.:23:33.

Thank you so much. Now then, most decorated Yorkshiremen, Ed. It is

:23:34.:23:41.

nice to know. You said you could not believe it that you were mobbed when

:23:42.:23:46.

you got off the plane a few days ago. When you're out there was it a

:23:47.:23:51.

bit like being in a bubble? Absolutely, you have no idea what is

:23:52.:23:56.

going on back home. You just get an inkling, people saying well done on

:23:57.:24:01.

Twitter. You kind of expected at the home Olympics, in London. Out there

:24:02.:24:06.

Eurojust in a bubble and have no idea. As soon as I got off the

:24:07.:24:12.

flight there were 30 paparazzi. It is something we never experienced

:24:13.:24:16.

before. Well you will get no peace now, all these people are going to

:24:17.:24:22.

follow you! Your heroes! Now rugby, no one expected this result.

:24:23.:24:29.

Brilliant. Silver. You did so well against Argentina, and against South

:24:30.:24:36.

Africa. My husband is New Zealand, can you imagine. But your parents

:24:37.:24:41.

were there. I was lucky, my mum and dad, my sister and girlfriend and a

:24:42.:24:45.

few mates were out as well, great travelling support. It was pretty

:24:46.:24:53.

awesome having them. And your girlfriend, or fiancee, was eight

:24:54.:24:56.

months pregnant. Were you not worried that the silver would bring

:24:57.:25:01.

on an early baby! Just a bit! With that Argentina match going to extra

:25:02.:25:07.

time. She said if I go into labour it is your fault! She was happy for

:25:08.:25:12.

me but also panicking a bit at the same time. A silver medal and

:25:13.:25:18.

shortly a baby, what a month for you! And Phil, you have already had

:25:19.:25:23.

a party thrown for you in Loughborough. What was it like to

:25:24.:25:29.

stand on the podium and still hear the national anthem? It was a

:25:30.:25:32.

surreal experience. We talked about at the whole time, what we wanted to

:25:33.:25:37.

aim for, but getting up there, I was lost for words and I still am. I

:25:38.:25:42.

cannot really see it was a great experience, it was phenomenal,

:25:43.:25:45.

getting to sing the national anthem and all that, just to think this is

:25:46.:25:50.

really incredible and I loved every minute. The boys would agree that

:25:51.:25:56.

everyone has done a sterling job. Beyond brilliant. And Patrick is

:25:57.:26:04.

with the boxers, also doing a sterling job. The safest man in the

:26:05.:26:12.

UK standing beside the GB boxers! Come on! We have got Nicola, Josh,

:26:13.:26:21.

and Joel. Nicola, what an amazing achievement. Has it sunk in, first

:26:22.:26:29.

British boxer to win back-to-back in 92 years, double Olympic champion.

:26:30.:26:34.

You are now back home, how does it feel? It feels amazing. It has been

:26:35.:26:39.

a long four years and it has been tough. I had a shoulder operation,

:26:40.:26:47.

ankle injury, and in the past five months I became European, world and

:26:48.:26:52.

double Olympic champion. So I completed the Grand Slam titles. The

:26:53.:26:56.

most accomplished amateur boxer in Britain that we have ever had.

:26:57.:27:06.

Whenever we see you, we saw you in 2012 as Olympic champion and we just

:27:07.:27:09.

assumed that you would go to defend the title but it was really tough.

:27:10.:27:15.

It was really tough, the girl I was competing against in the finals was

:27:16.:27:19.

a three-time world champion. The girl in the semifinals was a

:27:20.:27:23.

five-time world champion and Olympic silver medallist. I had some tough

:27:24.:27:28.

competitions. I just have got that desire and will to win and I work

:27:29.:27:33.

hard in the gym, I listen to the coaches, and never give up. Guys,

:27:34.:27:43.

were you watching when Nicola won a match? Josh, you're the first in the

:27:44.:27:51.

team to take a home. It was pressure off, but the support was great. When

:27:52.:27:56.

Nicola was boxing we were all screaming our heads. All supporting

:27:57.:28:00.

each other. Overall the team spirit was good. I'm not the only one in

:28:01.:28:07.

the country, but I think that Joe was robbed. You landed some many

:28:08.:28:15.

punches. These statistics do not like, I put 110% in and thought I

:28:16.:28:20.

would get the nod at the end. But it wasn't to be. The good thing is that

:28:21.:28:26.

you're guaranteed a ticker tape through London. Who is your trainer?

:28:27.:28:36.

Sadiq Khan. They will put a word in and you are -- you will have your

:28:37.:28:47.

ticker tape reception. Sounds good! And what other for tonight? You

:28:48.:28:52.

don't have to make the wait any more. -- weight. A few drinks. Helen

:28:53.:29:11.

Glover, you do find it your London title but you were quite late to the

:29:12.:29:20.

sport? -- you defended in London title. I had never tried rowing

:29:21.:29:24.

before and they tested my fitness and looked at my height and put me

:29:25.:29:31.

into it. You're not the tallest. I'm quite small for this board, it takes

:29:32.:29:34.

all shapes and sizes, anyone could have a go. Karen, this young lady is

:29:35.:29:42.

getting married soon. You'll attended a hen do in Brazil, any

:29:43.:29:50.

gossip? We had it all well organised, everything planned out

:29:51.:29:53.

and someone forgot all the Games in the taxi. So we had to make them up

:29:54.:29:59.

on the spot. One of those was when you say a vegetable without showing

:30:00.:30:07.

your teeth. I'm not going to do it! Then every time a waiter came over

:30:08.:30:11.

with were saying, here is the stripper! But there was none. Well

:30:12.:30:20.

done, the first team in history to come back with a medal. Matthew, you

:30:21.:30:29.

are Polly's boyfriend, she got silver medal before you, did you

:30:30.:30:33.

feel pressured to bring back the gold? Luckily we were on the water

:30:34.:30:37.

at the time and had no idea how they were getting on. We saw them at the

:30:38.:30:43.

start and they got off slowly, but we focused on our own race. I only

:30:44.:30:47.

found out what happened later. It was nice to see them over on the

:30:48.:30:53.

podium. And did anyone lose a forfeit? She has got to do the

:30:54.:31:01.

house-cleaning for the next year! I'm not allowed, I always do a bad

:31:02.:31:07.

job! Well you do a great job for Great Britain, well done. You're all

:31:08.:31:17.

big lads. The average man, how much do you eat? Last count was about

:31:18.:31:23.

6000 calories on an average day. We do put it away. The Cox also eats a

:31:24.:31:38.

lot. You eat and drink a lot, you either party animals! Well done out

:31:39.:31:45.

there. Fantastic. Thanks to all our Olympic heroes. And good luck to all

:31:46.:31:52.

the Paralympians in the next couple of weeks. I'm going out there too.

:31:53.:31:54.

What a show it has been tonight. I'll be heading to Edinburgh

:31:55.:31:57.

for a series of shows from the Festival, where we'll be

:31:58.:32:00.

bringing you an exclusive look A proper divorce is built on
