It's Sunday the 13th of April. Ayshah here with your top stories.

And we countdown the strangest stories of the week. This is

Newsround. First up, Mo Farah has missed out on

his bid to win the London Marathon after finishing eigth on his debut.

The double Olympic champion finished the 26.2 mile course in 2:08.21,

missing out on the British record. World record holder Wilson Kipsang

won the race - his second title in London. He was glad to have

completed his first marathon in the city he grew up in. I gave it a go,

and that is all I could do. I'm disappointed I didn't go out there

and give a bit more, and the people supported me all the way. The field

was tough. I have gone straight for the personal best, but that is what

athletics is about. 36,000 fun runners are taking part

in the marathon and by the time the last person crosses the line a

staggering 750-thousand water bottles would have been handed out.

It's the biggest road race in the world and here's why. -- 750,000. On

your marks, get set, Mo. The 34th annual London Marathon is well and

truly under way. But the double Olympic champion wasn't the only one

the crowds have come to see, because in total 36,000 people are taking

part. Some are in fancy dress, while others will just be glad to finish.

And for most of them - it's all in the name of charity. Last year a

staggering ?53 million was raised. There's also some familiar faces as

well - including ex-England footballer Michael Owen, TV

presenter Helen Skelton and rugby player Lewis Moody. And this is what

they have to face - 26.2 miles, passing some of London's biggest

landmarks, including the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

Some runners will be pounding the streets until late afternoon. But

when they finish they can proudly say they completed the biggest road

race in the world. All day you've been sending in your

marathon messages. Casey says my oldest brother Mitch is taking part,

so I'd like to say. Hope you do well and I believe in you. Scarlett's

message is good luck to everyone who is taking part, and if you don't

Next to Chile in South America, where thousands of people have been

forced to leave their homes because of a large forest fire. More than

150 homes in Valparaiso, a city that is next to the Pacific Ocean, have

caught on fire after strong winds coming in off the sea blew the fire

in the cities direction. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

have taken to the water in New Zealand today for a high-speed boat

ride and have also been involved in a junior rugby match, and it was

Prince William's team that were the winners. The sporty day is part of

their three week royal tour of New Zealand and Australia.

The early kick-off in the Premier League sees leaders Liverpool taking

on Manchester City. Look away now if you don't want to know the score. It

is currently 1-0 to Liverpool. Liverpool's manager was focused on

the game. It should be a fantastic game of football. For us, our focus

is on three points because at the end of the day that is what comes

out of the game. You gain confidence and belief, but the three points is

what we are after. There are five games to go. Even after this one

there are 12 points to play for, so we are looking forward to this. It

should be a fantastic game. Golf and the 20-year-old American

Jordan Speith is bidding to become the youngest ever winner of the

Masters in Augusta. It's his first Major Championship and he shares

first place with Bubba Watson ahead of today's final round. Finally,

weirdest news stories of the week - Martin's been on the hunt for us to

find worlds strangest story - take it away Martin.

actually a wedding day surprise for the bride and groom. Father Ray

Kelly from Oldcastle, Co Meath, started singing his pitch-perfect

version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. The lyrics were change

especially for the newlyweds, I wonder if he will do a Newsround

version. Strangest. Last, but not least, it might not look like much,

but this cup has just been sold for ?22 million. The tiny porcelain

rarity is over 500 years old and sold at an auction in Hong Kong.
