But first, 11 days of incredible sporting action have

come to an end in Rio, as the Paralympics finished

with a colourful and musical closing ceremony last night.

Paralympics GB won a whopping 147 medals -

Here's Martin with just a few highlights from the Games.

The Rio 2016 Paralympics opening ceremony kicked off with this

And right from day one, the medals began rolling

Kadeena Cox made her Paralympic debut and won gold in not

one, but TWO, sports - athletics and cycling.

Oh, yes, the history-maker, the record-breaker Kaddena Cox,

in a new world record, is the Paralympic champion.

And she wasn't the only one competing in her first games.

15-year-old Ellie Robinson stormed to victory in the S6

50 metre butterfly, setting a new world record too.

Coming to the final stages. She gets it.

At 13 years old, the youngest member of Paralympics GB,

Abby Kane, did an impressive swim in the S13 100 metre backstroke

It wasn't all about the newcomers though, as cyclist Dame Sarah Storey

became the most successful British female Paralympian ever,

winning her 12th, 13th and 14th Paralympic golds at the games.

Another familiar face - Jonnie Peacock -

He's coming right away, brilliant by Peacock.

And Hannah Cockroft added three golds to the two

Paralympics GB won a total of 64 golds -

nearly double the amount won four years ago.

Rio 2016 finished last night with a huge party inside a packed

Maracana Stadium, with singers, dancers and fireworks,

and the flag was handed over to the next host city - Tokyo.

There was a dramatic finish for Jonny Brownlee in

the World Triathlon Series, when his legs began to give way

But his brother, and fellow triathlete, Alistair,

wasn't far behind and came to the rescue, helping

Jonny was taken to hospital and is doing OK.

I have been in that position before and when it happened to me in London

all those years ago I remember sprinting away in second place and

then being in the position he was in and someone going past us. It can

happen to anyone. It is a novel position to be in. He could have job

that last two K and won the race. Who am I to talk.

Well, the Brownlee brothers aren't the first pair of athletes

From brothers to a rather more unusual pairing,

Cheetah cub, Emmett, has found a new friend in puppy,

Cullen, at a zoo in the US state of Ohio.

Cheetahs can be nervous and excitable creatures.

So staff there decided it would be a good idea to pair them up,

to help Emmett become more calm and confident.
