Hello, this is Wednesday's Newsround.

:00:11.:00:12.

Today is the last day for adults to decide if they think

:00:13.:00:15.

the UK should stay or leave a group of 28 countries

:00:16.:00:19.

Tomorrow's vote could mean big changes for people living in the UK.

:00:20.:00:25.

Ricky and Naz have been on a roadtrip to find out

:00:26.:00:28.

what kids think of some of the important issues.

:00:29.:00:35.

We are heading to Warsaw, which is the capital of Poland.

:00:36.:00:40.

Just like the UK, Poland is a member of the European Union

:00:41.:00:44.

and, over the last 12 years since they joined

:00:45.:00:46.

that group of countries, hundreds of thousands

:00:47.:00:47.

of people have left Poland and moved to the UK.

:00:48.:00:52.

The life in England is more comfortable.

:00:53.:00:56.

I actually want to stay and study in Poland.

:00:57.:00:59.

If the UK would leave the EU, it would affect us a lot.

:01:00.:01:05.

This part of Southampton has seen a lot of changes over

:01:06.:01:08.

the last ten years or so, and it's not uncommon to hear

:01:09.:01:11.

someone speaking a different language walking down the street.

:01:12.:01:15.

I think immigration is good, as long as it's controlled.

:01:16.:01:18.

A lot of immigrants come to get a better quality of life,

:01:19.:01:21.

but that might have a negative impact on, like,

:01:22.:01:24.

For many of us, Spain is a place we like to come to on our holidays,

:01:25.:01:34.

but thousands of people from the UK have moved to live here

:01:35.:01:37.

The community with Europe and the UK is very unique, and I think

:01:38.:01:42.

I am not really too fussed about it, because it doesn't really

:01:43.:01:51.

It's the only part of the UK which shares a land border

:01:52.:01:59.

with another European country, but I've been speaking to kids

:02:00.:02:02.

who live really close to the border and asking them how they think that

:02:03.:02:05.

If they vote out and they start putting checkpoints in the south,

:02:06.:02:12.

it might be a lot of hassle, like queues and people trying

:02:13.:02:17.

It might affect me. It might not.

:02:18.:02:20.

I am curious to see, if we left, what would happen.

:02:21.:02:26.

Kids aren't allowed to vote in the referendum,

:02:27.:02:28.

but it's still an important topic, with people holding

:02:29.:02:31.

Ricky is at a school in Warwickshire where kids are holding

:02:32.:02:35.

Hi, I'm Louis, and we are on Vote Remain.

:02:36.:02:54.

so red is Leave and blue is, obviously, Stay.

:02:55.:03:01.

And there are banners, balloons, people wearing

:03:02.:03:03.

different coloured T-shirts, and it is a good atmosphere.

:03:04.:03:07.

It is so important to get involved and, even if you can't vote,

:03:08.:03:10.

It is very, kind of, busy, and everyone wants to know more

:03:11.:03:15.

So, just like the millions of adults who will be voting tomorrow,

:03:16.:03:21.

the children at this school will also be taking part in their

:03:22.:03:24.

This is their ballot paper, and they will be voting

:03:25.:03:29.

whether or not they think the UK should remain in or leave

:03:30.:03:32.

They will be popping them into the box just like that,

:03:33.:03:36.

Well come to this school here in Warwickshire. Good morning. We are

:03:37.:03:57.

feeling good and have a special debate shortly. These guys have been

:03:58.:04:02.

debating all week, like you saw in the report. They are trying to

:04:03.:04:04.

persuade fellow classmates where they should vote and if they should

:04:05.:04:09.

remain in or leave. We will start our debate. Three topics, which are

:04:10.:04:16.

immigration, trade and travel. Poppy, you are on Vote Leave, why do

:04:17.:04:20.

you think your classmates should vote leave?

:04:21.:04:23.

It is cheaper for people from Europe to come in, so we have two free up

:04:24.:04:27.

more jobs and houses, and that costs money.

:04:28.:04:33.

Joe, what do you think? You are on the remain in the team.

:04:34.:04:36.

When people come in, they pay taxes, which helps to build schools and

:04:37.:04:40.

hospitals. Let us move on to trade. Louis, you

:04:41.:04:47.

are on Remain. Why should the UK state part of the EU when it comes

:04:48.:04:50.

to trade? Around 3 million jobs are linked to

:04:51.:04:55.

trade with the UK and they could be put at risk unless we stay with the

:04:56.:04:58.

EU. Very persuasive this morning. You do

:04:59.:05:01.

not agree? If we leave, we will be able to

:05:02.:05:06.

negotiate our own trade deals and get the goods we want and need.

:05:07.:05:12.

Travel now, so, Megan, you think the UK should remain in the EU, why?

:05:13.:05:18.

Thanks to the EU, our lights and mobile phone services are much

:05:19.:05:22.

cheaper to use. Have you been persuasive?

:05:23.:05:25.

Yes. You don't agree?

:05:26.:05:30.

I agree but I also think we should leave because we can control the

:05:31.:05:33.

borders. They will hold their own version of

:05:34.:05:38.

the pretend referendum tomorrow, but back to you in the studio.

:05:39.:05:40.

Northern Ireland went through to the knockout stages last night.

:05:41.:05:44.

Last night, Northern Ireland made it through to the knock-out stages

:05:45.:05:50.

of a major tournament for just the third time in their history.

:05:51.:05:53.

They took on Germany in the Parc des Princes behind me,

:05:54.:05:55.

but it did not happen when you would expect.

:05:56.:06:00.

Northern Ireland went into their final big game

:06:01.:06:03.

against the world champions knowing it was going to be tough.

:06:04.:06:06.

Germany dominated early on and took the lead thanks to this

:06:07.:06:09.

It could have been more, had it not been for the heroics

:06:10.:06:17.

of Northern Ireland's goalkeeper Michael McGovern.

:06:18.:06:19.

It was a tense match but they held on to keep the score 1-0

:06:20.:06:22.

Despite losing and finishing third in the group,

:06:23.:06:25.

there was still a chance Northern Ireland could qualify.

:06:26.:06:27.

Three hours later, a 2-0 victory for Turkey against Czech Republic

:06:28.:06:32.

meant they made it through as one of the best third-placed teams

:06:33.:06:36.

They will now meet either Wales or host nation France for a place

:06:37.:06:41.

That's all from the team this morning.

:06:42.:06:47.
