Good morning, I'm Hayley, and you're live with Newsround

:00:00.:00:00.

First, to the country of Belgium, in Europe.

:00:00.:00:19.

Hundreds of people gathered in the capital city of Brussels

:00:20.:00:21.

to light candles and leave flowers for those who died in an attack

:00:22.:00:24.

Landmarks around the world have been lit in the colours of the Belgian

:00:25.:00:31.

Here's more on what happened yeaterday.

:00:32.:00:36.

People from around the world have been giving their support

:00:37.:00:38.

It's after attacks on the city of Brussels yesterday morning.

:00:39.:00:45.

The emergency services were there quickly to help anybody affected.

:00:46.:00:48.

But the Prime Minister of Belgium has asked everyone to show calmness

:00:49.:00:55.

It's not known for sure who is behind the attacks,

:00:56.:01:03.

but the group that calls itself Islamic State has said

:01:04.:01:05.

They carried out the attacks which took place in Paris,

:01:06.:01:10.

Last Saturday, the police in Belgium caught a man they think was involved

:01:11.:01:19.

in the Paris attacks, and they are now looking to see

:01:20.:01:22.

if what happened yesterday is linked to that arrest.

:01:23.:01:23.

Now countries around the world have come forward to offer

:01:24.:01:26.

We must be together, regardless of nationality

:01:27.:01:29.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has said that the UK will do

:01:30.:01:38.

We absolutely stand with them at this very difficult time.

:01:39.:01:49.

It's important to remember that the reason this is in the news

:01:50.:01:52.

is because it's a very unusual thing to happen.

:01:53.:01:54.

These attacks are rare, and although it's scary to hear

:01:55.:01:56.

about, it's very unlikely that anything like this would ever happen

:01:57.:01:59.

to you, your family, or anyone that you know.

:02:00.:02:02.

There's a full guide to what's happened in Brussels

:02:03.:02:04.

online, along with our report about who Islamic State

:02:05.:02:07.

are and what happened back in Paris last year.

:02:08.:02:09.

That's also where you can find our advice on what to do

:02:10.:02:20.

Next, Newsround's latest Special is all about technology and if it's

:02:21.:02:24.

We wanted to see if they could cope with a life without tech while their

:02:25.:02:40.

France had unlimited access. I had tech and my France did not. I

:02:41.:02:47.

ignored them. I cheated a little bit. I found it quite difficult

:02:48.:02:51.

because all my life, I have either had a TV or a tablet by my side. I

:02:52.:02:58.

used it less than I thought actually because I was on holiday and I have

:02:59.:03:05.

just been going places and there has been no time for tech. I did not

:03:06.:03:12.

like it at all. I don't even like my parents for making me do it. It

:03:13.:03:16.

feels like I have been on it for five minutes but the two hours just

:03:17.:03:21.

flew by. I was in the note tech group for three days and it was not

:03:22.:03:26.

too hard because I was going out to different places every day. Not

:03:27.:03:30.

using tech for three days was really hard. I think people use tech more

:03:31.:03:36.

because they are bored. The challenge surprised me a bit. But I

:03:37.:03:44.

could not even draw because I do not have an imagination and I had to use

:03:45.:03:47.

technology to get a picture of my mum. I actually enjoyed the three

:03:48.:03:55.

days using two hours of tech. And I think it has changed me as a person

:03:56.:04:00.

because I feel better in myself for using two hours a day. It was good

:04:01.:04:06.

because I found some new talents and I enjoyed the box that I read. It

:04:07.:04:10.

does make me think and feel that I'm Robert we do use it a bit too much.

:04:11.:04:17.

I think in the future, I am going to use tech at bit less because I want

:04:18.:04:21.

to be a football player when I grow up -- I probably do use it. I might

:04:22.:04:27.

go outside and train harder and use my tech less. In the future, I am

:04:28.:04:34.

going to clamp down on tech because people who had non-did not really

:04:35.:04:38.

care. So I think it would be actually good for me rather than

:04:39.:04:39.

bad. Thanks, guys. Finally, to a dog who's

:04:40.:04:42.

really on the ball. Purin the beagle has broken

:04:43.:04:45.

a Guinness World Record! This cute Japanese pup smashed

:04:46.:04:47.

the record for the fastest ten This isn't Purin's first

:04:48.:04:49.

taste of fame. She already holds another world

:04:50.:04:53.

record for catching balls

:04:54.:04:56.
