I'm Ricky with Tuesday's top stories.

0:00:060:00:07

On the way...

0:00:070:00:10

The incredible storm captured on camera in Singapore.

0:00:100:00:13

Right, Tidy Up Rhumba time!

0:00:130:00:18

# Pick up the pens, put them in the pots.

0:00:180:00:21

The song making tidying up fun.

0:00:210:00:25

First, we're looking at puppy breeding.

0:00:320:00:34

In the UK, puppies can be bred to be sold on, but there are strict rules

0:00:340:00:39

on how they should be cared for.

0:00:390:00:42

But these rules aren't always being followed and some puppies

0:00:420:00:45

are being badly treated, as I've been finding out.

0:00:450:00:49

When you buy a puppy you want to know it's had a good

0:00:490:00:52

life and that it's been bred in a caring and loving way.

0:00:520:00:56

Some people breed puppies as a business, to make money.

0:00:560:00:59

They need special permission for this and they have

0:00:590:01:02

to show their local authorities that the puppies in their care

0:01:020:01:05

are treated well.

0:01:050:01:07

But the BBC programme Panorama did some secret filming and found out

0:01:070:01:12

that this isn't always the case.

0:01:120:01:13

This is what's known as a puppy farm - a place

0:01:130:01:16

where lots and lots of puppies are bred for money.

0:01:160:01:19

But the health of the animals and the conditions they live

0:01:190:01:22

in isn't given much thought at all.

0:01:220:01:24

Puppy farming is a really big problem because puppies

0:01:240:01:27

and their mums often don't get looked after properly,

0:01:270:01:30

and that can mean they are often very scared and they can sometimes

0:01:300:01:33

get really sick.

0:01:330:01:34

That is really sad for the puppies but it can also be very

0:01:340:01:38

upsetting for the new owners.

0:01:380:01:39

If you and your family are thinking about getting a dog,

0:01:390:01:41

you could consider re-homing, or if you are thinking

0:01:410:01:44

about buying a puppy, the best thing to do to make

0:01:440:01:47

sure your puppy comes from a good home is to ask the breeder

0:01:470:01:50

lots of questions and not just get a puppy because it looks cute

0:01:500:01:53

or because you feel sorry for it.

0:01:530:01:54

Make sure they are happy to play with you, they look healthy,

0:01:540:01:57

with bright, clear eyes, shiny fur, and they should be running around,

0:01:570:02:00

playing with their toys.

0:02:000:02:02

If the breeder doesn't let you see the mum or doesn't answer

0:02:020:02:05

all of your questions, the best thing to do is always

0:02:050:02:07

walk away because there are lots of responsible breeders out

0:02:070:02:10

there who will let you visit as many times as you want

0:02:100:02:13

and they will answer all of your questions for you.

0:02:130:02:15

Today, a group of MPs will meet in Parliament to talk about

0:02:150:02:18

the current puppy farming problem.

0:02:180:02:22

It's hoped more can be done to make sure all puppies can

0:02:220:02:25

start their lives in a happy and healthy way.

0:02:250:02:29

Now, can you guess what this little fella is?

0:02:290:02:32

That's right, it's a water vole.

0:02:320:02:35

Numbers of water voles have fallen by around 90% in the last 30 years.

0:02:350:02:39

Now a team in Worcestershire in England are trying to help

0:02:390:02:43

by slowing the flow of the water in the brook where they live

0:02:430:02:46

and giving them more protection from predators.

0:02:460:02:49

It is really important.

0:02:490:02:50

Numbers have declined hugely in recent years

0:02:500:02:53

and what we want to do is improve the habitat so their

0:02:530:02:56

numbers can rise.

0:02:560:02:57

They are a mammal, they breed really well.

0:02:570:02:59

It is the fact that we haven't got the habitat and we have got

0:02:590:03:02

the predation and we need to work on projects like this

0:03:020:03:05

to improve the numbers.

0:03:050:03:06

How do you feel about tidying up?

0:03:060:03:07

If you don't enjoy it, there might be a way of making

0:03:070:03:10

it more fun.

0:03:100:03:11

Two school teachers in London have made a song that's become a hit

0:03:110:03:14

in classrooms around the world.

0:03:140:03:15

Ayshah's got more.

0:03:150:03:17

There is nothing better than playing and making a mess,

0:03:170:03:20

but someone always has to tidy up afterwards.

0:03:200:03:23

And here at this school in London, this is how they do it.

0:03:230:03:26

TAMBOURINE RATTLES

0:03:260:03:27

Right, Tidy Up Rhumba time!

0:03:270:03:29

CHEERING.

0:03:290:03:34

# Pick up the pens

0:03:340:03:35

# Put them in the pots.

0:03:350:03:37

# Don't forget the lids.

0:03:370:03:38

# We put them back on.

0:03:380:03:39

They play a Tidy Up Rhumba song that tells them what to do.

0:03:390:03:43

It helps you tidy up.

0:03:430:03:44

Do you like the Tidy Up Rhumba?

0:03:440:03:46

Yes.

0:03:460:03:47

Why do you like the Tidy Up Rhumba?

0:03:470:03:50

Because it tells us what to do.

0:03:500:03:57

# In your chairs.

0:03:570:03:58

# Nicely away.

0:03:580:03:59

# All the resources back in the trays!

0:03:590:04:01

The song was written by two primary school teachers as a way

0:04:010:04:03

to get their classrooms tidy.

0:04:030:04:05

# Pick up the pens.

0:04:050:04:06

# Put them in the box.

0:04:060:04:07

It has now been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube.

0:04:070:04:15

When it got to a million, I was like, jaw-dropping,

0:04:150:04:17

completely shocked.

0:04:170:04:19

I couldn't believe it and I was thinking, there

0:04:190:04:21

is something here in this song.

0:04:210:04:23

# Shaky, shaky, stop.

0:04:230:04:28

# Shake it until you drop.

0:04:280:04:30

Christalla and George said they hope the song will help children

0:04:300:04:32

have fun keeping their classrooms and homes tidy.

0:04:320:04:34

# Tidy up.

0:04:340:04:35

# Rhumba!

0:04:350:04:36

# Tidy up!

0:04:360:04:43

Next, think you know what a T-Rex looks like?

0:04:430:04:46

Think again.

0:04:460:04:49

Scientists say the scary dino may have had lips covering

0:04:490:04:53

those gigantic teeth.

0:04:530:04:54

Head online for the full story - and while you're there,

0:04:540:04:57

check out our top five facts on Jose Mourinho,

0:04:570:05:00

the man tipped to take over at one of the world's biggest football

0:05:000:05:03

clubs, Manchester United.

0:05:030:05:07

To America and the NFL now, which is a huge deal stateside.

0:05:070:05:10

One of the big teams - the Pittsburgh Steelers -

0:05:100:05:12

have signed a new player.

0:05:120:05:13

This pre-programmed robot!

0:05:130:05:17

Yes, at their training camp the Steelers have been

0:05:170:05:19

using a robotic dummy to accurately simulate the movements

0:05:190:05:23

of an opposing player on the field.

0:05:230:05:25

And the best thing is, it never gets tired!

0:05:250:05:28

Finally, take a look at this spectacular picture.

0:05:280:05:30

Captured by a photographer who normally takes snaps

0:05:300:05:32

of buildings, it shows a huge lightning storm in Singapore.

0:05:320:05:34

Darren Soh had been waiting for a chance to capture the nation's

0:05:340:05:39

amazing storms for a long time.

0:05:390:05:41

He set up his camera to take lots of photos

0:05:410:05:45

of the skyline over one hour, then put 12 of his best shots

0:05:450:05:48

together to create this amazing scene, which has gone viral

0:05:480:05:50

on social media.

0:05:500:05:51

Let's hope we get sunnier weather here today.

0:05:510:05:56

That's all from me - Newsround's back in the afternoon.
