This is Newsround live at Newcastle Gateshead | :00:08. | :00:08.
on the final day of CBBC live and what a great time we've had so far. | :00:09. | :00:13.
Right now we've got a pirate on a giant ostrich over there - | :00:14. | :00:22.
You have been celeb watching as well, haven't you? I have seen | :00:23. | :00:52.
Johnny, Packer and Dodge and Katie. Who has been your favourite? Packer | :00:53. | :00:59.
and Dodge. What have you been doing? I have been enjoying doing ukelele | :01:00. | :01:05.
onstage. You have been performing as well? Yes, it was great. Coming up, | :01:06. | :01:14.
all of the data -- date was like top stories. | :01:15. | :01:17.
England's preparations for next month's World Cup in Brazil | :01:18. | :01:20.
got off to a good start at Wembley last night. | :01:21. | :01:22.
Roy Hodgson's men beat Peru 3-0 in their last home game | :01:23. | :01:25.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge scored the opener, and says he's | :01:26. | :01:29.
It was a good night's work, good preparation for us for | :01:30. | :01:38.
the first game in the World Cup . I don't want to get too carried | :01:39. | :01:43.
away, as I said it's all preparation, | :01:44. | :01:47.
and so it is not really about scorelines or about how we played. | :01:48. | :01:50.
We just need to take positives out of the game and move forward now. | :01:51. | :01:52.
The search is on to find a new way to get astronauts safely | :01:53. | :01:56.
One company that thinks it has the answer is SpaceX, who've just | :01:57. | :02:03.
Could this be the future of how we fly into orbit? | :02:04. | :02:12.
A private company, SpaceX, has unveiled their new craft, | :02:13. | :02:15.
designed to ferry astronauts to and from space. | :02:16. | :02:18.
The Dragon V2 has room for seven astronauts inside | :02:19. | :02:21.
and a swing-down computer screen for the pilot to use. | :02:22. | :02:28.
US space agency NASA is looking for ways to get it astronauts to and | :02:29. | :02:32.
from space, and now big businesses are pitching their ideas. | :02:33. | :02:35.
NASA used to use space shuttles, a bit like planes, which would | :02:36. | :02:40.
blast off attached to a rocket and glide back down to Earth to land. | :02:41. | :02:44.
But the shuttles were retired in 2011 and since then America has | :02:45. | :02:47.
had to use Russian rockets which can be very expensive. | :02:48. | :02:53.
Unlike the old shuttles, the Dragon V2 doesn't need a runway to land. | :02:54. | :02:56.
It can use side thrusters and legs to land vertically like a helicopter | :02:57. | :03:00.
It is now up to NASA to decide whether they'll use these in the | :03:01. | :03:07.
future, and there are several other companies bidding to be chosen. | :03:08. | :03:10.
It is hoped reusable craft like this will play a big part in making | :03:11. | :03:14.
Everyone here is having a great time and earlier this morning | :03:15. | :03:27.
The name of the latest Dumping Ground cast member. | :03:28. | :03:32.
Thousands of you suggested names and have been voting on your favourite. | :03:33. | :03:36.
Earlier I caught up with Cel - one of the celebrity judges, | :03:37. | :03:40.
Ah, brilliant! I couldn't have done better myself. | :03:41. | :03:51.
Why did you go with that name exactly? | :03:52. | :03:53.
We believe in the Dumping Ground he's going to get up to a bit | :03:54. | :03:56.
of mischief. But he is loved | :03:57. | :03:58.
and see what I did there? I got that, yeah. | :03:59. | :04:01.
But he's kind of cheeky so we thought that name was appropriate. | :04:02. | :04:04.
Were there any other contenders, any other big names that you | :04:05. | :04:07.
thought about? I mean, what is wrong with Timothy | :04:08. | :04:10.
or Jonathan, those really strong names? | :04:11. | :04:13.
Those are a bit standard, though. I really liked Rudy. | :04:14. | :04:15.
I got Rudy down there, but the audience went with Mischief. | :04:16. | :04:19.
Did you get voted out then? Yeah, I got voted out. | :04:20. | :04:20.
Cheers guys. Eh, what do we think of Rudy? | :04:21. | :04:28.
I still can't get over Radzi from Blue Peter body popping on stage | :04:29. | :04:36.
But he isn't the only one performing here, | :04:37. | :04:43.
Hello Cheer Cats. You guys have been working hard to get your performance | :04:44. | :04:52.
ready, tell me about that. We had been in the gym and working on her | :04:53. | :04:57.
performance for many hours. And had you had any help with the | :04:58. | :05:06.
choreography? And -- yes. And what is it like to be on the stage? We | :05:07. | :05:11.
were all quite nervous at first, but then we just went out and enjoyed | :05:12. | :05:19.
it. What have you enjoyed the most? I am going to enjoy performing on | :05:20. | :05:23.
Newsround, because it is such an amazing opportunity. We have been | :05:24. | :05:28.
teaching all the little children how to dance and stuff like that, and we | :05:29. | :05:33.
have been doing some left for them. Well that is not all you guys have | :05:34. | :05:37.
been doing, but that is all we have time for. | :05:38. | :05:41.
the Newsround website for all the day's other news and there's loads | :05:42. | :05:44.
But for now it's goodbye from Newcastle Gateshead. | :05:45. | :05:48.
..and lows of Dragons - Riders Of Berk. | :05:49. | :06:10.
The Slammer is back with tons of glittering acts. | :06:11. | :06:13.
New thrills and spills with The Slammer Returns. | :06:14. | :06:18. |
