-It was discovered that Hillary

-..and sent some improper images to a

-This hasn't helped Hillary Clinton.

-It's thought to have helped Donald

-Trump.

-By last week, a lot of people had

-decided to cast their vote...

-..for Hillary Clinton.

-Both Hillary Clinton

-and Donald Trump...

-..have had their ups and downs.

-This has been a real pantomime!

-A lot of Americans have never seen

-anything like it before.

-People in the United States will

-vote for their next president...

-..on 8 November.

-Let's move to our next story.

-It's about refuse collection.

-There's a great headline.

-It's "We've Bin Robbed!"

-Some people have been charged to

-collect their rubbish.

-The councils want to save money.

-By stopping

-the weekly collections...

-..the councils will be saving money.

-The service hasn't gone.

-It's the collection that has

-changed.

-We've seen that a

-man from Manchester...

-..is using this to help his

-business.

-This is about recycling.

-Yes, and some people feel that they

-are being forced...

-..in terms of their refuse

-collections.

-The bins are collected every

-fortnight in Cardiff.

-Food waste is collected every week.

-It's Halloween.

-Cardiff is the most haunted place in

-Wales!

-I don't know if this is true.

-Next, we make our first visit

-of the day to Elwen in the kitchen.

-What have you got for us today,

-Elwen?

-The recipe is for pumpkin with

-a spicy Welsh beef mince chilli.

-It's a quick dish for Halloween.

-It sounds lovely.

-This is so simple.

-When I had young children...

-..we'd go to trick or treat...

-..but would need a warming meal.

-I've roasted the pumpkin.

-It's been sliced.

-You need 450g of mince.

-It's Welsh beef mince.

-This hasn't got any fat.

-This is a simple chilli

-with some vegetables.

-I add all sorts of vegetables to my

-chilli.

-I add red pepper.

-A traditional chilli will contain

-onion.

-I've got a chilli, some garlic and

-onions.

-The onions should be browned.

-The garlic will help

-keep the vampires at bay!

-I remember carving pumpkins and

-making a mess...

-..so had a lot of leftover pumpkin.

-I hated the smell of pumpkin soup!

-The larger pumpkins are grown for

-carving.

-The smaller ones

-have a better flavour.

-I've add all the vegetables

-to the mince.

-Add a teaspoon of chilli powder.

-There's also some black pepper.

-Crumble in a stock cube.

-We also need some tomatoes.

-You could add tomato puree.

-I've added the tin of tomatoes.

-You don't want this to be too

-watery.

-When cooking with tomatoes...

-..they can be sour.

-Some people add sugar.

-I'm using sweet chilli sauce

-instead.

-Add more vegetables for colour.

-I'm using the courgette.

-Place a lid on this to simmer for

-about 30 minutes.

-The chilli is served with the

-pumpkin slices.

-These were brushed with oil and

-roasted.

-I didn't remove the skin.

-I hope this isn't too hot.

-You could grate some cheese on top.

-This is lovely.

-It's got a kick!

-taken me back to my teenage years.

-It's been great.

-I've loved it.

-Let's see a clip from Cool Cymru.

-At the end of the 1990s,

-Cool Cymru was in full swing.

-We felt like we were flying the flag

-in a new way.

-It was a world stage for music.

-These bands are special

-and we'll celebrate them.

-Catatonia, Manic Street Preachers,

-Stereophonics, Super Furry Animals.

-It produced films and actors and

-was home to a new National Assembly.

-We shouted from the rooftops

-that we're Welsh!

-This is the story

-of a special time...

-..when Wales was cool

-at the end of the 20th century.

-That was a clip from Cool Cymru.

-You forget about what was happening

-in the 1990s.

-The series is presented

-by Lisa Gwilym.

-The series starts in the 1980s.

-You had bands such as Ffa Coffi Pawb

-and Y Cyrff.

-There's the underground music scene

-in Wales...

-..and the ways the bands signed with

-some great labels.

-It was a great platform for Welsh

-music.

-We heard a song by Catatonia.

-It was a great song.

-This year, we've heard from

-beautiful locations in Wales.

-It attracts many tourists

-Another tourist hotspot

-is Oystermouth Castle.

-It attracts visitors on holidays

-and visitors from another world.

-The historian, Ann Rosser is an

-expert on the castle and its ghosts.

-The castle was given

-to the de Breos family...

-..by William de Londres

-of Ogmore Castle.

-It stayed within the family

-for several centuries...

-..until it came into the possession

-of the Duke of Beaufort.

-He then sold the land and the

-castle itself to Swansea Council.

-You can wander the castle and

-witness extraordinary experiences.

-awaken something within the walls.

-People have witnessed

-paranormal experiences.

-The Norman castle

-has a bloody background...

-No wonder the rumours are rife

-They would have been killed

-- life was very cruel in those days.

-a builder was working below...

-..and he felt someone touch his

-shoulders and shake him vigorously.

-I think we better leave!

-The castle is a labyrinth

-of dark and damp rooms.

-In the dungeons, there's talk

-of a famous Oystermouth ghost.

-This is a whipping post

-where the enemy would be punished.

-They would have to run around the

-post whilst they were being whipped.

-The whipping post is connected

-to the Ladi Wen or White Lady.

-There are many tales

-about the death of the Ladi Wen.

-One pair reported seeing her cry

-with whipping wounds on her back.

-Some believe that she wandered

-into the forest near the castle...

-..which coincides with the story of

-the family that spotted her there.

-She is most often seen wandering

-aimlessly around the castle.

-It's not just the Ladi Wen that's

-the cause for strange experiences.

-A worker was sitting by this table,

-writing notes for the builders.

-He experienced something strange

-when he felt a person approaching.

-He could not tell if the figure

-was a male or female...

-..but it passed him

-and disappeared into the wall.

-There are many similar stories that

-have taken place in the castle...

-..where the figures of ghosts

-have disappeared into walls.

-Ann, you've told us about the

-spiritual history of the castle...

-..but do you believe in ghosts?

-I haven't had

-any ghostly experiences...

-..but having been here all morning,

-perhaps they do exist!

-On that note,

-I think it's best that we leave!

-No-one knows if the ghost stories

-are true and I didn't see anything.

-However,

-the castle is cold and eerie...

-..and you constantly feel

-as if you are being watched.

-of British Sausage Week.

-The next recipe

-is for a sausage cottage pie.

-People usually use mince for this

-recipe.

-Let's get the onions on the pan.

-I think you should brown onions.

-They give a better flavour.

-It's better for the dish.

-This is a healthy dish.

-Add all the vegetables to the

-onions.

-The vegetables are finely chopped.

-There's carrots, parsnips and

-celery.

-There's nothing unusual about this

-recipe.

-Add a touch of oil to help the

-vegetables soften.

-Let's turn to the sausages.

-These are Welsh pork sausages.

-I've lost a sausage!

-We've gone down to five instead of

-six!

-It's best to buy sausages

-from your butcher.

-They will contain less fat.

-Butchers have

-to follow guidelines...

-..in terms of making sausages.

-Sausages have improved over the

-years.

-They contain more meat.

-Add some Worcestershire sauce,

-pepper and some paprika.

-It adds a smoky flavour.

-There's also some vegetable stock.

-You could thicken it with flour.

-I prefer to add some gravy granules.

-You could serve this as a vegetarian

-You wouldn't add the sausages.

-This is going to thicken.

-It will need to simmer for about ten

-minutes to thicken.

-Let's turn to the potatoes.

-There's some white potatoes and

-sweet potato.

-There's some butter in this.

-You don't have to pipe it over the

-top.

-It looks better if it's piped.

-You could pipe it in the shape of a

-witch for Halloween!

-Sprinkle cheese over the top and

-bake it.

-You could serve it with some

-broccoli.

-I don't think it's too hot for you.

-Oh, wow!

-Those sausages are great.

-We've done well today.
