Hello again on Day 4 of the Games and it's been a busy one already.

:00:22.:00:38.

A lot of the cycling is going on right now on BBC Three. There we go,

:00:39.:00:46.

there are medals being claimed. The last five on the track, so feel free

:00:47.:00:49.

to enjoy that if you please. We will be going very shortly back to

:00:50.:00:54.

Hampden, around the Games there is a lot happening. There are

:00:55.:01:02.

quarterfinal spots being claimed in nine divisions in the boxing.

:01:03.:01:13.

England hoping to respond positively after an agonising 1-0 loss to

:01:14.:01:24.

the Aussie Diamonds yesterday. Later on, Northern Ireland will take

:01:25.:01:32.

on the defending champions, the silver ferns of New Zealand.

:01:33.:01:40.

So, Hampden here we come. Women's 400m first and in this is an athlete

:01:41.:01:43.

who is a national heroine in Botswana, a former world champ and

:01:44.:01:45.

reigning Commonwealth Champion, Amantle Montsho.

:01:46.:01:47.

Gabby, just a pity she won't be renewing a pretty tasty rivalry here

:01:48.:01:49.

in Glasgow? Amantle Montsho is here. Christine

:01:50.:02:00.

has eased off this season. Is it inevitable off the back of a season

:02:01.:02:03.

like that, if she is looking at a four-year cycle and wants to make

:02:04.:02:06.

Rio, there will be one season where she takes her foot off the gas?

:02:07.:02:11.

Absolutely. It is the right decision. I talked to Christine a

:02:12.:02:16.

few weeks ago. And she was looking forward to running the relay here.

:02:17.:02:19.

She said she had taken it easy this year and you must as you get older.

:02:20.:02:25.

She wants to go through to 2016, to Rio. I would have loved to have seen

:02:26.:02:34.

the match-up of Amantle Montsho and Christine Ohuruogu. It was an

:02:35.:02:38.

exciting race to watch. They have a nice rivalry. Christine is doing the

:02:39.:02:45.

right thing. A lot of people will be disappointed when they say the Men's

:02:46.:02:50.

5000m Final that Mo Farah isn't lining up for that as well.

:02:51.:02:54.

Different reasons for him. For Christine, a world-class athlete,

:02:55.:02:59.

she's won Olympic Games, World Championships, she wants to keep

:03:00.:03:04.

going on that cycle. She is here as part of that team spirit. We know

:03:05.:03:07.

how important she was for the British team as the captain in

:03:08.:03:12.

Moscow. She's here in that relay. Her experience and her wisdom will

:03:13.:03:15.

still be something that the athletes in the English team can tap into?

:03:16.:03:19.

Absolutely. She is a great motivator. She is very well

:03:20.:03:26.

respected. And her presence brings something and especially that

:03:27.:03:48.

Women's 4X400m team. Of course, Jamaica has a couple of nifty 400

:03:49.:03:53.

metre runners. So let's see how they get on in the heats. Let's hand you

:03:54.:03:57.

down to our commentary team. The first of six heats in the

:03:58.:04:09.

Women's 400m. The name that stands out here in this first line-up is

:04:10.:04:13.

Regina George of Nigeria. There is Regina George. She was a

:04:14.:04:32.

World Junior relay competitor for the United States in 2010.

:04:33.:04:45.

Not far inside her, we have Samantha Edwards and Wendy Dorr.

:04:46.:05:16.

Away they go. And George into her running well. She can be

:05:17.:05:22.

inconsistent. She is capable of going below 51 seconds. She ran a

:05:23.:05:28.

sub-50 split in the IAAF relay a couple of months ago. Samantha

:05:29.:05:46.

Edwards in lane three is pushing hard and dragging along Wendy Dorr.

:05:47.:05:50.

At the moment, it is Regina George well out in front. She comes round

:05:51.:05:54.

into the home straight and the crowd here has been wonderful at Hampden

:05:55.:05:58.

and the noise tomorrow for the semifinals and final will be superb.

:05:59.:06:06.

Regina George is tying up slightly. Here comes Poovamma Machettira.

:06:07.:06:14.

Regina George almost had a stand-still as Poovamma Machettira

:06:15.:06:22.

came through to take the victory. Regina George went off strong -

:06:23.:06:26.

perhaps too quickly - and was caught on the line by Poovamma Machettira.

:06:27.:06:31.

Like many of the Indian athletes, she has not been racing outside

:06:32.:06:40.

India this season. Here, it was Regina George paying for her earlier

:06:41.:06:51.

pace. She ran here, as you said in the Glasgow Diamond League. It

:06:52.:06:54.

looked as though she ran a bit scared through the first 200. Then

:06:55.:06:59.

she starts treading water and is run down by the two athletes outside

:07:00.:07:10.

her. Poovamm a and Mudiyanselage. The top three go through. You don't

:07:11.:07:14.

want to qualify this way. You don't want to be really fading so badly in

:07:15.:07:21.

the last 50 metres. My apologies to Chandrika Subashini Rasnayaka

:07:22.:07:23.

Mudiyanselage who came through to take it in lane eight. It is those

:07:24.:07:32.

three who go through automatically. It was Subashini finishing very

:07:33.:07:37.

strongly. She timed it very well. You see Regina George in the

:07:38.:07:41.

background, she was almost at a stand-still. She will learn a bit

:07:42.:07:44.

from that because she does go through safely enough in second

:07:45.:07:51.

place with Poovamma Machettira going through in third. Earlier on we saw

:07:52.:08:04.

the Women's 100m heats. In Heat 2 Amy Foster was running. Amy Foster

:08:05.:08:10.

of Northern Ireland, she got the recent record, ran really well in

:08:11.:08:17.

lane seven and qualified by rights, coming through. Amy Foster ran a

:08:18.:08:20.

really strong race there and may have been a bit worried about

:08:21.:08:26.

qualifying. She made it through to tomorrow's semifinal. Afterwards,

:08:27.:08:31.

she spoke to Phil. Well done. Tremendous performance. Safe ly

:08:32.:08:39.

through to the next round. -- Safely through to the next round. The main

:08:40.:08:44.

aim was to get a decent qualification. I have done that. The

:08:45.:08:47.

times seemed a bit slow. It is not about the times here. It is a bit

:08:48.:08:51.

cold and windy. I am happy to be through to tomorrow. Did you get any

:08:52.:08:58.

tips from Jason Smith about the track, did you get chance? I was

:08:59.:09:03.

speaking to him briefly. I was lucky enough to be here a couple of weeks

:09:04.:09:06.

ago. I had already been out on the track. I knew it wasn't the hottest

:09:07.:09:12.

day today. I wasn't too worried about it. Tremendous performance. We

:09:13.:09:16.

will see you tomorrow. Great, thanks, Phil.

:09:17.:09:21.

STEVE CRAM: Amy Foster a really good performance. Asha Philip is through

:09:22.:09:36.

and Bianca Williams looked pretty good to me. Melissa Breen looked

:09:37.:09:48.

pretty good for Australia as well. There were six fastest loser spots.

:09:49.:09:51.

Two Welsh athletes not going through. Yes.

:09:52.:10:07.

Women's hammer qualification, first round. Sophie Hitchin of England. 65

:10:08.:10:12.

metres is automatic! Yes! Yes! Yes! round. Sophie Hitchin of England. 65

:10:13.:10:19.

The yellow line is that automatic qualification. She knows it. She

:10:20.:10:26.

knows that's beyond. The final is tomorrow night. Work done! Not much

:10:27.:10:33.

to spare, but minimum energy expended. Save your best for the

:10:34.:10:41.

final! Good balance at the end there. Always look for that in the

:10:42.:10:48.

hammer. The athlete looks well-balanced. There is the

:10:49.:10:54.

confirmation. Wow! That's spot on for Sophie. Well done. Things

:10:55.:11:08.

warming up nicely here in this Hampden Park arena. A capacity crowd

:11:09.:11:14.

enjoying the first afternoon of athletics. There's the line-up for

:11:15.:11:21.

Heat 2 in the Women's 400m. Kelly Massey goes for England. There's

:11:22.:11:31.

Kelly Massey. A funny story - she goes out with one of our top

:11:32.:11:41.

athletes, Rick Yates, and he was embarrassed when his profile on the

:11:42.:11:46.

England website had Kelly's picture on it! Christine

:11:47.:11:59.

Shaunae Miller are two to watch out for here. This is a tough heat for

:12:00.:12:00.

Kelly Massey. The top three will go through.

:12:01.:12:14.

Miller, a former World Junior Champion at this distance, having a

:12:15.:12:22.

bit of a difficult year. Miller looks heavily strapped again for me.

:12:23.:12:27.

She is a fantastic talent, but has not been in great form. Kelly Massey

:12:28.:12:34.

starts fast. Anneliese Rubie will go past Shaunae Miller down that back

:12:35.:12:38.

straight, but Kelly Massey has started quickly here, Shawna Fermin

:12:39.:12:41.

is going well, as Christine Day starts to move up on the English

:12:42.:12:46.

athlete. Kelly Massey has gone well through this first 230 metres.

:12:47.:12:51.

Christine Day, as expected, starting to surge past her on that top bend

:12:52.:12:54.

and Kelly Massey doesn't need to panic here. She is well clear, she

:12:55.:12:59.

has a glance on her inside. She will expect Miller to come back and

:13:00.:13:03.

Shaunae Miller and Anneliese Rubie - this could be tight for the third

:13:04.:13:07.

spot. Day is starting to tire a little bit and Miller has judged

:13:08.:13:13.

this really well. Kelly Massey and Miller are the other two to qualify.

:13:14.:13:17.

Anneliese Rubie finishes fourth. Christine Day took that out pretty

:13:18.:13:21.

hard and was looking a little tired over the last 50 metres. Miller

:13:22.:13:27.

looked as though she eased herself into it. Shaunae Miller is a huge

:13:28.:13:34.

talent. And she did a good job, along with Kelly Massey to make sure

:13:35.:13:36.

she got through there. I was impressed with the way Massey

:13:37.:13:51.

came through in the end there. She held on. She didn't tie up at all. I

:13:52.:13:56.

thought when she was in this position here - Day was going to be

:13:57.:14:02.

looking strong - on the inside in lanes two and three - not just

:14:03.:14:06.

Miller, the Australian athlete as well. Kelly Massey responded well

:14:07.:14:11.

and looked to have some running coming to the end. They were all

:14:12.:14:17.

closing down on Day towards the end. Christine Day just hung on for the

:14:18.:14:21.

win there, but Kelly Massey safely through. Just fairly relaxed there

:14:22.:14:27.

at this point. I like the way she had a little glance, she knew what

:14:28.:14:33.

she was going to have to do. You don't get medals for being brilliant

:14:34.:14:38.

in qualification. This Women's 400m isn't stacked with lots of talent. A

:14:39.:14:43.

good performance from Kelly Massey to go through. She is with Phil.

:14:44.:14:50.

Steve, it is great we can watch back the replays, the isolated images -

:14:51.:14:53.

you had that look to your side. Explain why? I spent most of the

:14:54.:14:57.

time down the home straight looking to the side! I wanted to make sure I

:14:58.:15:02.

qualified. I didn't use too much energy. You did it. You looked so

:15:03.:15:07.

relaxed coming down the home straight? I was surprised it

:15:08.:15:09.

relaxed coming down the home straight? I was surprised was that

:15:10.:15:12.

fast. I had a bit of problem with my pacing this week. I kind of relaxed.

:15:13.:15:20.

When you are in that run down to get a qualifying place, you have a

:15:21.:15:24.

couple of women alongside you and the cheers are all for you? That was

:15:25.:15:28.

so brilliant. Normally, I can't hear anything, but I heard it all down

:15:29.:15:31.

that straight, down the back, and around the bend it was brilliant.

:15:32.:15:34.

Well done again. Thank you. Back to the women's hammer. It was

:15:35.:16:16.

silver four years ago for Parry. Tremendous height on that. Could

:16:17.:16:20.

just be shy of automatic altercation. Carys Parry, at 33, had

:16:21.:16:34.

another season's best of 66.18m. It would be great to see her in the

:16:35.:16:39.

final tomorrow. That looks very likely. 17 athletes in qualification

:16:40.:16:43.

this afternoon, with 12 places to go. Julia Ratcliffe of New Zealand.

:16:44.:16:59.

She is looking to qualify. That looks very good, comfortably beyond

:17:00.:17:08.

automatic. She put herself up there as a contender for medals. She is a

:17:09.:17:20.

70 metre throw at her best. At 21 years of age, she will have come

:17:21.:17:40.

with high hopes of medals. It will be interesting to see how

:17:41.:17:51.

this woman gets on in lane two. She is the captain of the national

:17:52.:17:54.

football team, but decided to give running a go. She has run only a

:17:55.:18:05.

hundred other second slower than Ohuruogu has run this year. -- a

:18:06.:18:08.

hundredth of a second. You don't see many 200m talents from

:18:09.:18:32.

Kenya. But Maiyo has had a history of being disqualified. False starts

:18:33.:18:35.

and all sorts of fun and games, but very talented. Mupopo is just 21.

:18:36.:19:15.

She has said, I am confident that I will record 48 seconds in Glasgow,

:19:16.:19:20.

which is a tall order. If she does that, she will win by a street.

:19:21.:19:30.

Three go through automatically. She did the flag carrying at the opening

:19:31.:19:34.

ceremony in Beijing, London and Glasgow. Still quite cool out here

:19:35.:19:47.

compared to the last few days. That did not really help the shorter

:19:48.:19:54.

sprinters, the 100m men and women. Supposed to be pleasant conditions

:19:55.:20:01.

tomorrow. The third heat of this first round.

:20:02.:20:38.

Mupopo in lane two. Does she tactically know how to run a 400m?

:20:39.:20:43.

She is still playing for the Zambian national football team. But she is

:20:44.:20:53.

going very fast, breezing past Suma of Sierra Leone. Three go through

:20:54.:21:01.

automatically. Mupopo has gone off very quickly indeed. Alexander is in

:21:02.:21:07.

lane four, a tall figure, but fairly even with Mupopo at the moment. A

:21:08.:21:14.

languid style in lane eight from the Kenyan athlete. She is in third

:21:15.:21:20.

place at the moment. Mupopo is beginning to seize up a bit. And

:21:21.:21:26.

Maiyo might sneak into second place. The winner is Alexander of St

:21:27.:21:33.

Vincent and the Grenadines, but it is fairly clear who are the three

:21:34.:21:41.

automatic call fires from that one. -- automatic qualifiers. Watching

:21:42.:21:46.

Mupopo, she went off as though she was in the 100m, and then finished

:21:47.:21:51.

as though she was in the 800m. But that is what happens. She will learn

:21:52.:21:55.

from that experience. She looks like a bit of a watercolour, needs

:21:56.:22:01.

coaching around how to judge the event properly -- she is a raw

:22:02.:22:08.

Thailand. -- a raw talent. She went storming through. Then she started

:22:09.:22:14.

to struggle a bit. Much more controlled from Alexander. At this

:22:15.:22:24.

point, the arms are going all over the place, lactic starting to build.

:22:25.:22:29.

But she is strong. If someone can give her a bit of coaching, who

:22:30.:22:34.

knows? That football career might be something she needs to think about,

:22:35.:22:37.

because she has obviously got talent. Naivety and raw talent, and

:22:38.:22:47.

she has run half a dozen races at most so fastens moving from

:22:48.:22:59.

football. -- since converting. She may learn with each and every race.

:23:00.:23:07.

Semifinal and final to come. Trying to look as though she is not

:23:08.:23:10.

bothered, but the header goes back and it is showing, but a big talent.

:23:11.:23:27.

Maybe she was fooling us all there. The face said, I'm fine, the legs

:23:28.:23:47.

did not. Still a decent finish. We have seen two athletes already

:23:48.:23:52.

qualify in this women's hammer competition. This is the Canadian.

:23:53.:23:57.

She is looking to join them. And she does. As you would expect, she took

:23:58.:24:07.

gold in Delhi four years ago and won that competition by over three

:24:08.:24:18.

metres. We saw Sophie Hitchon earlier. She

:24:19.:24:21.

will be looking to push her all the way. But Frizell was looking very

:24:22.:24:34.

comfortable. She will not need the further two throws, because she has

:24:35.:24:39.

automatically qualified. One of the best feelings in field

:24:40.:24:45.

events is that if you have got the automatic altercation, you get to

:24:46.:24:47.

leave the site and get something to eat and get ready for the final. The

:24:48.:24:51.

first athlete to do that was Sophie Hitchon, who has joined up with

:24:52.:24:54.

Phil. Sophie, that was an accomplished

:24:55.:25:01.

throw. Yeah, definitely what I wanted. Qualifying can be the

:25:02.:25:05.

hardest thing. If you take it lightly, things can go wrong. So I

:25:06.:25:10.

came here wanting to throw well. I am glad I got it out of the way on

:25:11.:25:15.

the first attempt. You have had a taste of this atmosphere before in

:25:16.:25:22.

London. Did you Get Inspired? Yeah, it is the same as London. I thought

:25:23.:25:28.

it would be dialled down a bit, but how wrong was I? It was amazing. And

:25:29.:25:38.

as for the final tomorrow, you have a strong medal chance. If I come

:25:39.:25:43.

away with a medal, I will be really pleased. It is my first Commonwealth

:25:44.:25:56.

Games. We wish you well. Yes, well done to Sophie. The

:25:57.:26:05.

women's 400m heat four now. We have athletes from these

:26:06.:26:09.

countries. The Nigerian is in the middle. 21

:26:10.:26:30.

years of age, but she started serving a drugs ban when she was 15

:26:31.:26:35.

years old for two years. She is chasing down McPherson. Williams of

:26:36.:26:45.

Trinidad and Tobago is having a battle with Beckles in lane two.

:26:46.:26:50.

McPherson, as expected, is dominating this race. Omotosho in

:26:51.:26:57.

second place. McPherson can relax here. She can see how far she is

:26:58.:27:03.

ahead. She can see on the big screen, and she is using all of her

:27:04.:27:11.

experience. Omotosho in second. And Williams takes third ahead of

:27:12.:27:18.

Beckles. If you did not know already, that was a very controlled,

:27:19.:27:26.

very easy qualification. It may be that McPherson is bringing the best

:27:27.:27:29.

format the right time these Commonwealth Games. Very controlled,

:27:30.:27:35.

very impressive. That was quite a lonely race for McPherson in lane

:27:36.:27:41.

eight. And that brings its own difficulties, especially with the

:27:42.:27:45.

athlete from the Isle of Man who was left behind. But McPherson did not

:27:46.:27:51.

see anybody until she looked at the big screen to check where everybody

:27:52.:27:59.

was. The strongest relay squad will no doubt come from Jamaica.

:28:00.:28:06.

McPherson was looking very strong. If you look at the other athletes

:28:07.:28:12.

from Jamaica, they will certainly be the team to beat in the 4 x 400. But

:28:13.:28:18.

McPherson may be the one to beat in the individual.

:28:19.:28:33.

Coming up in the next heat, a Montsho, who we saw last time. The

:28:34.:28:44.

last battle was that World Championships final, four tenths of

:28:45.:28:49.

a second, she ended up being beaten by. She's not stepping off the gas

:28:50.:28:54.

this season, Michael. She is going for it and wants to get another

:28:55.:28:58.

Commonwealth gold. She said that after 2016, she wants to go to her

:28:59.:29:04.

first love, basketball. So she's getting the most of her last two

:29:05.:29:08.

years of athletics. Yes, and after last year, she ran a great race

:29:09.:29:14.

until the last few metres. So you want to come back and win another

:29:15.:29:20.

championship. She has the opposite situation from Christine Ohuruogu.

:29:21.:29:26.

Montsho will want to go into the next two Championships with some

:29:27.:29:32.

hardware to prove to everyone and herself. I think it was a mistake

:29:33.:29:37.

she made last year to give the race away at the end. It is always

:29:38.:29:42.

difficult to live that down and prove to yourself that you are a

:29:43.:29:47.

champion. More importantly, she is an amazing ambassador for Botswana.

:29:48.:29:52.

People look up to her. She leads the way for women's athletics. So for

:29:53.:29:58.

her to be here is more about her country and defending the title she

:29:59.:30:06.

has worked so hard to achieve. There she is. We will also see Shana Cox,

:30:07.:30:12.

who has run 58.4 in her time. We have seen Kelly Massey already

:30:13.:30:17.

qualify as well. Cox will be hoping she can push Montsho and make it

:30:18.:30:27.

through. Absolutely. This should be comfortable for

:30:28.:30:27.

through. Absolutely. This should be comfortable Shana Cox. She has just

:30:28.:30:32.

got to run her own race. We tend to see the best of her in relays. I

:30:33.:30:38.

think she has so much more to give. She has a pace issue within the 400.

:30:39.:30:44.

Maybe having Montsho right in front of her, I don't know whether that

:30:45.:30:45.

will help her gauge a better race. I think it is. She hasn't been able

:30:46.:30:56.

to establish her own pace. She seems to have struggled this year. That

:30:57.:31:02.

50.84 - that was only a few years ago. This is an opportunity but

:31:03.:31:06.

given that situation, you would want to come in - I would come into this

:31:07.:31:11.

race saying I'm going to run this like the final. My objective is to

:31:12.:31:18.

beat Montsho. Absolutely. Let's see if she can step up to the plate.

:31:19.:31:22.

Andrew Cotter. Amantle Montsho - that was a seminal

:31:23.:31:34.

moment in the World Championships in Moscow last year when Christine

:31:35.:31:37.

Ohuruogu took it. There is confirmation of the line-up. Shana

:31:38.:31:42.

Cox will be looking to lead the way home here with three going through.

:31:43.:31:48.

The applause inside Hampden is for Amantle Montsho and Shana Cox, she

:31:49.:32:00.

has run 50.84 but a fair few years ago now and not near that at the

:32:01.:32:05.

moment. Trying to find that form somehow, just to get close to that.

:32:06.:32:16.

There is Folashade Abugan. We were talking about the quality of the

:32:17.:32:23.

Nigerian team - we have seen Regina George go through and Omotosho has

:32:24.:32:27.

qualified as well. This is the leading Nigerian of the year. Lanece

:32:28.:32:39.

Clarke in six, Audrey Jean-Baptiste in 7, Afia Charles in lane eight and

:32:40.:32:44.

we didn't mention Rebecca Ansumana in lane four.

:32:45.:32:56.

This year, Montsho has not been so impressive. A bit of rain inside

:32:57.:33:05.

Hampden for the start of Heat 5. Very, very slow start for Abugan of

:33:06.:33:14.

Nigeria. We see Amantle Montsho trying to close down on Shana Cox,

:33:15.:33:24.

lanes two and three. Already, the athlete from Botswana easing

:33:25.:33:28.

alongside her. It is a powerful start by Amantle Montsho and after

:33:29.:33:32.

her slow start, Folashade Abugan is running well for Nigeria in lane

:33:33.:33:36.

five. Three go through automatically. Lanece Clarke in lane

:33:37.:33:41.

six, she is the threat to Shana Cox. She is starting to hit the

:33:42.:33:46.

accelerator now, Shana Cox. A long way behind Amantle Montsho, who is

:33:47.:33:49.

looking very strong here. Very impressive from the defending

:33:50.:33:56.

Commonwealth Games champion. She breaks the tape - 51.89. Perhaps a

:33:57.:34:06.

statement from Amantle Montsho, yes, my form has not been great, but I

:34:07.:34:10.

have still got plenty in the tank. That was a very comfortable win.

:34:11.:34:19.

Interesting, isn't it, you talk about an athlete not being in such

:34:20.:34:23.

great shape. Her standards are extremely high. She has been

:34:24.:34:26.

struggling with her judgment in her races this year, which is unusual

:34:27.:34:29.

for somebody of her calibre, when she is up against the really top

:34:30.:34:33.

women, it is much easier to control a race like this where you know you

:34:34.:34:38.

can win it, you are just qualifying. That might give her a bit of

:34:39.:34:42.

confidence as well. She is just watching here, well clear of Abugan,

:34:43.:34:48.

Shana Cox, she executed her race pretty well and qualified with ease.

:34:49.:34:53.

I think this is going to be a really good race - Montsho, the Jamaicans -

:34:54.:34:57.

it will be very difficult to predict who is going to win. I still think

:34:58.:35:02.

Montsho is working pretty hard. The old Montsho, this sort of

:35:03.:35:07.

qualification, high 51 seconds, would be easier than this. Both of

:35:08.:35:13.

them are through and Amantle Montsho is through, Shana Cox joining her

:35:14.:35:17.

and the two of them are with Phil. They are, indeed, Steve. A quick

:35:18.:35:25.

word with you, Amantle, how comfortable was that for you? That

:35:26.:35:30.

particular race? How comfortable did you feel? Today is nothing special.

:35:31.:35:36.

We just have to run easily so you can have go through the three

:35:37.:35:39.

rounds, I think the more important thing is tomorrow. Today, I was just

:35:40.:35:45.

doing more light. As for being the defending champion here, everyone is

:35:46.:35:48.

looking at you to successfully defend that title, win the gold

:35:49.:35:51.

again. How does that is it with you? I think I have to - I know it is not

:35:52.:36:01.

easy. For sure, everyone wants to win the Commonwealth Games. I have

:36:02.:36:05.

to see what will happen. All the very best tomorrow. Thank you for

:36:06.:36:10.

talking to us. Shana, how was it for you out there today? A comfortable

:36:11.:36:16.

qualification? Yes, it was comfortable. The first round is

:36:17.:36:21.

always tricky. You have been in the village for a little while. It seems

:36:22.:36:25.

like it's been forever since you have competed. Blowing the cobwebs

:36:26.:36:29.

off. Trying to get through comfortably and that is what I tried

:36:30.:36:32.

to do. To get the reception you received at the start, what does

:36:33.:36:41.

that do to your mindset? You get used to it as you go through the

:36:42.:36:48.

Games, you get used to it. This is something special, though, isn't it?

:36:49.:36:52.

The reception here has been so, so good and so amazing and kind of

:36:53.:36:58.

fires you up to get ready to go out. I was pleasantly surprised. We will

:36:59.:37:04.

see you tomorrow. Thanks. STUDIO: We haven't seen an abundance

:37:05.:37:11.

of Scottish athletes yet. Such generous support from this home

:37:12.:37:16.

crowd. It is not just made up of Scots here. There is that real

:37:17.:37:20.

support for athletes across-the-board. I think they are

:37:21.:37:26.

excited about hosting the Championships and having the

:37:27.:37:29.

Commonwealth Games here in Glasgow. This stadium has been great today.

:37:30.:37:37.

Sometimes on the first day, they are blowing the cobwebs off as well!

:37:38.:37:41.

They have gone after it right away. They were chomping at the bit to get

:37:42.:37:45.

going on the athletics, people were talking about town waiting for the

:37:46.:37:51.

athletics to get started. The women are stepping it up a bit. What have

:37:52.:37:58.

you made of the 400 so for? Montsho looked easy. She hasn't raced as

:37:59.:38:04.

quickly as we come to expect her. She is normally heading the

:38:05.:38:12.

rankings. She's looking good, she is sounding confident, but she is not

:38:13.:38:15.

going to have it all her own way. It will be tough. She does want to

:38:16.:38:19.

defend that title. Always, it looks effortless when she is running, you

:38:20.:38:22.

know. She is strong, she is powerful. She is usually able to

:38:23.:38:36.

back up 50. -something every time she comes out. She also has

:38:37.:38:46.

deceiving speed. In that race, what happened was about 150 metres in,

:38:47.:38:51.

she was in lane two, Shana Cox was in lane three, they noticed that the

:38:52.:38:56.

field had gotten away from them. Montsho was able to turn it on

:38:57.:39:00.

quickly. Cox didn't do that. That was the result at the end when you

:39:01.:39:06.

saw with 120 metres or so to go coming off the curve. Shana Cox was

:39:07.:39:12.

back in third or fourth place. That is deceptive speed that she has. How

:39:13.:39:18.

can she be such a great 400m runner? She is not as powerful as a

:39:19.:39:22.

Christine Ohuruogu. She's got deceptive speed. Absolutely. You

:39:23.:39:27.

have not seen anything special today, she said. She will be turning

:39:28.:39:31.

it on more tomorrow. Let's go to this final heat of the Women's 400m.

:39:32.:39:40.

You have Williams-Mills of Jamaica. Steve Cram? Margaret Adeoye of

:39:41.:39:59.

England also goes in this heat. The last heat, the first three to go

:40:00.:40:09.

through. Williams-Mills in lane four. She was in that epic race in

:40:10.:40:16.

2007 when she was pipped at the line by Nicola Sanders and Christine

:40:17.:40:20.

Ohuruogu. She has had a good season this year. On the outside, the new

:40:21.:40:29.

Australian champion Morgan Mitchell, just finding Eke of Sierra Leone

:40:30.:40:37.

going past her. Adeoye with a bit of work to do. This could be tight. No

:40:38.:40:44.

problem about Williams-Mills. There is going to be a scrap on behind her

:40:45.:40:54.

for second, third and fourth. Look at the distance. Morgan Mitchell is

:40:55.:41:00.

finishing strongly. Williams-Mills winning it. Then Adeoye, and

:41:01.:41:05.

Mitchell. They are the top three to go through. I guess the tactic

:41:06.:41:11.

always is when you are as dominant, or you could be as dominant, is get

:41:12.:41:21.

out there, hard over the first 300 metres, then you can sit back. She

:41:22.:41:28.

had so much to spare. Margaret Adeoye was a long way back but she

:41:29.:41:32.

qualified safely in second place, Andrew. That was a cracking race 20

:41:33.:41:43.

metres behind Williams-Mills. She went out, she was the favourite,

:41:44.:41:49.

she's made her break here and she is holding on a bit at the end. Again,

:41:50.:41:54.

a bit of a statement saying she's seen her team-mates Christine Day

:41:55.:42:03.

and Stephanie McPherson qualifying well. Look at that gap already. It

:42:04.:42:08.

is a bit of a statement. Safeguarding your qualification and

:42:09.:42:10.

seeing what you have got in the tank as well. Seeing how this track

:42:11.:42:21.

feels. What a gap it was. An easy win for the Jamaican. Looks nice and

:42:22.:42:34.

relaxed there at this point. Just checking up on the screen, as most

:42:35.:42:39.

of them have done. Well, as with the others, the winner of that heat

:42:40.:42:46.

spoke to Phil after her race. That looked so impressive. Obviously, a

:42:47.:42:51.

massive margin of victory. You are way ahead in the Commonwealth coming

:42:52.:42:53.

in and people expect big things of you. I come in here, I know there

:42:54.:43:01.

will be some great competition. I am looking forward to the challenge to

:43:02.:43:05.

do what I need to do to win the gold medal. Tell me about the mentality

:43:06.:43:09.

you need to adopt for the first round? I mean, the first round, you

:43:10.:43:16.

get running, and make the run as easy as possible. You looked so

:43:17.:43:20.

impressive. Which wish you well. I can bring in Margaret here as well

:43:21.:43:26.

for a word. You timed your run to perfection? Yes. I wasn't quite sure

:43:27.:43:32.

if I was going to. I think it was too slow down the back straight.

:43:33.:43:37.

That gave me a lot more coming home. I don't know. I thought I - I kind

:43:38.:43:42.

of looked up and thought I'm in fourth place and it is top three, or

:43:43.:43:46.

top two? I worked it a little bit. As I felt the momentum going past, I

:43:47.:43:51.

switched off and came home. Great to get that one out of the way. You

:43:52.:43:54.

have semifinals tomorrow. What will you do between now and then? I have

:43:55.:43:58.

to speak to my coach and see where we have got to improve because he's

:43:59.:44:04.

not here and I know he is watching at home. He said get the round out

:44:05.:44:08.

of the way, qualify and he will tell me what I need to do to get through

:44:09.:44:14.

the next round. We are not talking of the great Linford Christie? We

:44:15.:44:21.

are! Hi. Your expectations when you come to an event like this? You are

:44:22.:44:26.

still fairly new, aren't you? I am. Even like through warm-up, I'm like

:44:27.:44:31.

do I warm up like a sprinter? Or do I take things slower? So I am still

:44:32.:44:36.

working on my warm-up, let alone my race and so I am coming out here, do

:44:37.:44:41.

I come out of the blocks like a sprinter and pray I get to the

:44:42.:44:46.

finish line or do I take things a notch slower? Again, it is another

:44:47.:44:50.

thing I'm thinking about. I am still learning. I have

:44:51.:44:52.

thing I'm thinking about. I am still year. I have tried different things.

:44:53.:44:57.

I have got too much coming home or I die at 300. There is so much to

:44:58.:45:02.

learn. I know it will take a couple of years. I am hoping things will

:45:03.:45:08.

speed up and I will get used to it. This will help. Thanks for talking

:45:09.:45:16.

to us today. Thank you. She certainly had to warm up! It is

:45:17.:45:19.

chilly at the moment! We are hoping it will be more --

:45:20.:45:39.

warmer tomorrow. I am sure most of those athletes and

:45:40.:46:22.

the 100m runners will be hoping the temperatures do go up five or 6

:46:23.:46:26.

degrees tomorrow as predicted. But the next race, the men's 5K, will be

:46:27.:46:31.

happy that it is about 17 degrees and a light shower at the moment,

:46:32.:46:35.

ideal for those longer distances. You started the day early with the

:46:36.:46:40.

marathon. No complaints from these guys? No, I think they will be happy

:46:41.:46:45.

with these conditions. A bit of drizzle, not a lot of wind. They are

:46:46.:46:52.

looking for a good 5000m race. It does not mean conditions will be

:46:53.:46:55.

perfect. It depends how they choose to attack the race. There has been

:46:56.:47:02.

speculation that the man who won the Kenyan trials is now better act as a

:47:03.:47:08.

pacemaker for the others to make sure it is not a slow race. He may

:47:09.:47:16.

have originally been there to make sure it was not a slow race when Mo

:47:17.:47:21.

was controlling it. I am glad you brought him up. We do not want to

:47:22.:47:24.

talk about those who are not here, but Noel was a late announcement

:47:25.:47:28.

that he was not going to run. He pulled out last week -- Mo Farah. It

:47:29.:47:35.

has disappointed many that he is not running here, because he is such a

:47:36.:47:41.

popular character. He has been training in the Pyrenees. What is

:47:42.:47:45.

the word on what is wrong with him and how long it'll to recover? I

:47:46.:47:49.

think there is actually nothing wrong with him right now, but he did

:47:50.:47:53.

miss some preparation, and he felt like he was not ready to come here

:47:54.:48:04.

and race. We were hoping he could make it to the 10,000 metres, but he

:48:05.:48:10.

has decided to concentrate on being ready for the European

:48:11.:48:13.

Championships. Well, it is still a strong field and I am sure Stephen

:48:14.:48:16.

Crabb and Brendan Foster will pick out those to keep our eye on over

:48:17.:48:21.

the next 40 minutes or so. Well, there is one of them. He is

:48:22.:48:29.

somebody Mo Farah and other world-class runners will know well.

:48:30.:48:34.

He finished fifth in the Olympic Games and was a bronze medallist

:48:35.:48:37.

behind Farah in the World Championships last year.

:48:38.:48:58.

Nick Willis is an interesting character. This is his first ever

:48:59.:49:06.

5000m major championship attempt. He says, I think I can cause a bit of

:49:07.:49:12.

an upset. Andy Burnham started -- Andy Vernon started the season in

:49:13.:49:16.

good shape but has been struggling lately. It will be interesting to

:49:17.:49:25.

see how he goes here. But I think the man they have all got to beat is

:49:26.:49:43.

this man, Ndiku. And here's a bit of a character as well. He is the world

:49:44.:49:50.

indoor champion of 3000m. Two very good Kenyans. There is another who

:49:51.:49:56.

we do not know much about. It will be interesting to see what role he

:49:57.:50:02.

plays in this 5000m final. Andy Vernon, Tom Farrell, Birmingham of

:50:03.:50:06.

Australia, Nick Willis of New Zealand. Men's 5000m final. 12 and a

:50:07.:50:15.

half laps of the track, as usual. Don't expect many fireworks early

:50:16.:50:22.

on. But the likes of Koech, who has had his fingers burned on more than

:50:23.:50:27.

one occasion by leaving things late. Caleb Ndiku has the confidence to

:50:28.:50:33.

sit and use his pace. Then you have the likes of Nick Willis of New

:50:34.:50:37.

Zealand, who is an interesting, spicy addition to this 5000m field.

:50:38.:50:43.

I said no one would go off to crazy. Hopefully, they will settle

:50:44.:50:48.

down. The athlete from list to two has gone off a little quick through

:50:49.:50:53.

these first 400m. In the absence of Mo Farah, who we all hoped would be

:50:54.:50:58.

here today to contest his 5000m, the favourite is probably Caleb Ndiku.

:50:59.:51:05.

He has settled down at the back, in the traditional place where the

:51:06.:51:10.

great Kenyan athletes often drift in races by relaxing in the early

:51:11.:51:15.

stages. There is Nick Willis and Tom Farrell of England, who has a great

:51:16.:51:20.

future ahead of him. Andy Vernon just ahead of him. But behind them

:51:21.:51:25.

all, with his golden coloured hair at the back, is Caleb Ndiku. I

:51:26.:51:30.

wonder if he got his hair dyed before he realised that Mo Farah was

:51:31.:51:33.

not going to be running, because it is indicative of the man with the

:51:34.:51:39.

golden hair wanting to win the gold medal. There was the tall figure of

:51:40.:51:46.

the world indoor champion, Caleb Ndiku. When you look at his early

:51:47.:51:52.

pace, he was a world junior champion of the 1500m. When you watch the

:51:53.:52:02.

young athletes come through, you often find a great one. This could

:52:03.:52:05.

be the next great Kenyan distance runner. This first lap is not what

:52:06.:52:14.

the likes of some of them would have wanted. Koech has decided that now

:52:15.:52:23.

they have started fast, they may as well keep going. A few years ago, we

:52:24.:52:32.

would have put Koech in the same category as Ndiku. But in the big

:52:33.:52:37.

races, he has not done anything to suggest that he knows how to win the

:52:38.:52:43.

big races. He is slowing things down a tad. The temperature is 17

:52:44.:52:55.

degrees, ideal for 5000m running. We would have expected this race to be

:52:56.:52:59.

a tactical affair. Do bring in the likes of Nick Willis, with his great

:53:00.:53:04.

pace, and hope that someone like Tom Farrell could keep in close contact

:53:05.:53:10.

for as long as possible, who knows what position he could finish up

:53:11.:53:15.

with. But Koech is keeping a decent pace. As you said, Caleb Ndiku is

:53:16.:53:25.

happy to be further back. You are talking about Koech's performance.

:53:26.:53:32.

He has not quite made it in the Olympics. He has been close, but in

:53:33.:53:38.

the last laps of those races, he has been unable to sprint like Mo Farah.

:53:39.:53:42.

Well, nobody has been able to sprint like Mo Farah, but this man today is

:53:43.:53:47.

using a different tactic to what we have seen in the past. We have

:53:48.:53:55.

using a different tactic to what we him sit and wait and wait. Now, we

:53:56.:53:55.

are quickly him sit and wait and wait. Now, we

:53:56.:53:59.

stretching the field out. Andy Vernon is at

:54:00.:54:02.

stretching the field out. Andy Young Farrell is right in amongst

:54:03.:54:06.

them, so they are running a strong race, but they are being driven

:54:07.:54:10.

along by probably the second ranked Kenyan, Koech. This is a bit of a

:54:11.:54:19.

surprise. There was a hint that the Kenyans might work together a bit.

:54:20.:54:31.

The Kenyan who won the Championships has not been anywhere near the front

:54:32.:54:35.

at this point. Koech has been happy to lead, but is slowing down a bit.

:54:36.:54:44.

Andy Vernon was struggling for a while but has got himself at the

:54:45.:54:53.

back of the big group now. I am interested to see what Nick Willis

:54:54.:54:55.

can do. He is based in America now. When he ran the sub 3.30 in Monaco,

:54:56.:55:05.

he said that he ran too hard. The couple of weeks ago, he said, I am

:55:06.:55:10.

going to Monaco and I will prepare for the Commonwealth Games.

:55:11.:55:12.

going to Monaco and I will prepare for It was not bad preparation.

:55:13.:55:18.

going to Monaco and I will prepare for It He has still got to contest

:55:19.:55:19.

the 1500m here, and it was a brave effort to come into the 5000 final

:55:20.:55:24.

as well. But he did not have to run heats for the 5000, so I think he

:55:25.:55:37.

will be fine in the 1500. Nick Willis is on the shoulder of Caleb

:55:38.:55:49.

Ndiku. There are the three black vested New Zealanders. Here comes

:55:50.:55:58.

Birmingham, a good, honest runner. In the yellow and green of

:55:59.:56:04.

Australia. They were inspired by that marathon this morning.

:56:05.:56:08.

Birmingham decided he did not want any more 65 second laps. He wants to

:56:09.:56:14.

go quicker. He has been accelerating through the field, but he has

:56:15.:56:18.

slipped behind Koech. He could have gone past him if he wanted.

:56:19.:56:33.

Cunningham's best race was in the 5000 -- Birmingham's best race.

:56:34.:56:41.

This pace is starting to hurt them a bit. They keep surging and settling

:56:42.:56:57.

down. The Solomon Islands athlete has been passed. At the back, the

:56:58.:57:07.

two Ugandans. The brothers have based themselves in the place where

:57:08.:57:12.

all the Kenyans train. And they have had great results, the Robertsons

:57:13.:57:19.

from New Zealand. They have put themselves into world-class distance

:57:20.:57:32.

running. The main contenders we thought of beforehand, apart from

:57:33.:57:46.

Koech, are happy to sit at the back. The two Englishmen are running well.

:57:47.:57:54.

Andy Vernon running well. You will not get many more 65 second laps,

:57:55.:57:58.

because the race is starting to gather momentum. It will be faster

:57:59.:58:01.

in the second part of the race than in the first part. If the Kenyan

:58:02.:58:07.

pacemaker does nothing about it, I am sure Birmingham will want to do

:58:08.:58:11.

something about it. Loitering with intent on the outside, the golden

:58:12.:58:16.

haired figure of Caleb Ndiku, just watching and looking across, right

:58:17.:58:20.

next to Nick Willis, who has had a pretty easy ride. If they get an

:58:21.:58:28.

easy ride in the first part of the race, it lays to their strengths.

:58:29.:58:33.

They get to show off their speed and stamina over the second part of the

:58:34.:58:37.

race. He has not been tested yet. In fact, the race has not really begun

:58:38.:58:42.

yet. It is a deceptive race. It looks as though it is surging. The

:58:43.:58:49.

atmosphere is fantastic. But to be honest, the lap times have been

:58:50.:58:53.

pretty much the same. It is not easy to run lap times of 65 when you go

:58:54.:58:58.

hard and slow down and Doha and slow down.

:58:59.:59:06.

Farrell's mum and dad are in the stadium to watch him tonight. This

:59:07.:59:17.

is a big push early on. Nick Willis is starting to get closer to the

:59:18.:59:25.

front. And Zane Robertson is still in the pack. Three New Zealanders,

:59:26.:59:28.

one from Australia, couple of Englishmen, two Kenyans. This is

:59:29.:59:35.

building up nicely. Good to see the New Zealanders. When I was growing

:59:36.:59:40.

up, they were the great athletes in the famous black vest of New

:59:41.:59:43.

Zealand. It always sent a shiver down your spine when you were

:59:44.:59:47.

running and you were joined by an athlete in the famous black vest.

:59:48.:59:48.

running and you were joined by an athlete in the Here are the

:59:49.:59:55.

Robertsons wins in New Zealand. Now the three Kenyans are running as a

:59:56.:59:59.

team, just behind the Robertsons brothers. All five of those train in

:00:00.:00:05.

the same area. But let's not forget the reigning champion. He has not

:00:06.:00:08.

done anything yet. Also in the group, Luke Caldwell of

:00:09.:00:19.

Scotland, working hard with Andy Vernon as the pace starts to pick

:00:20.:00:24.

up. Luke Caldwell doing well here as the pace just begins to really wind

:00:25.:00:29.

up. They are cranking this up. Jake Robertson now and Zane Robertson at

:00:30.:00:39.

the front, Nick Willis is on the kerb. This hasn't been too fast, but

:00:40.:00:45.

it will pick up and Ndiku is looking around saying, are we ready to go -

:00:46.:00:55.

he is looking for his team-mate and the pre-race favourite Caleb

:00:56.:00:58.

Mwangangi Ndiku moves to the front. He wants to control this, maybe he's

:00:59.:01:09.

taken a leaf out of the Farah book! Nick Willis is at the back of the

:01:10.:01:22.

group in a good place, and down goes Robertson. He's lost the momentum.

:01:23.:01:28.

Two laps to go in the Men's 5000m Final and the pre-race favourite, a

:01:29.:01:41.

hot favourite in this event, he is strong on the last lap. But he will

:01:42.:01:45.

have to be extremely strong to fight them off. Nick Willis is close up

:01:46.:01:49.

and in contention. The gap begins to open. The three Kenyans and the

:01:50.:01:55.

other Robertson brother are there. There is Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku

:01:56.:02:00.

holding his position. They are joined by Mohammed Ahmed of Canada.

:02:01.:02:07.

Zane Robertson is having a brilliant race here. Three Kenyans and these

:02:08.:02:17.

five have pulled clear. There's Farrell, who has given up the ghost.

:02:18.:02:22.

They come round to take the bell... The champion is beaten, he is out of

:02:23.:02:34.

it, Moses Kipsiro. We have seen him win races from the front, we have

:02:35.:02:38.

seen him win races on the last lap and the young New Zealander in third

:02:39.:02:43.

place is running well, but here comes the competitive rush. Can

:02:44.:02:49.

Ndiku hold it? That acceleration looks fierce. Now, he's got to hold

:02:50.:02:57.

it. He might not have this won yet. What a great performance from

:02:58.:02:59.

Robertson of New Zealand in third. He looks clear for the bronze. But

:03:00.:03:04.

the pre-race favourite has made his big run for home and it looks as

:03:05.:03:07.

though it is going to take him to the gold medal. Caleb Mwangangi

:03:08.:03:13.

Ndiku stretching away into the last 50 metres. He continues to go away

:03:14.:03:17.

from the field. It will be a gold for Kenya. Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku is

:03:18.:03:22.

the Commonwealth champion, Koech takes the silver and Robertson, a

:03:23.:03:27.

brilliant bronze medal for the New Zealander. A 54.1 last lap from

:03:28.:03:35.

Ndiku. Andy Vernon is the first of the two English athletes. They

:03:36.:03:39.

couldn't really find anything to beat this young man. He is a real

:03:40.:03:45.

character. We saw that in the World Indoors, he likes to wear his floppy

:03:46.:03:55.

hat as well. It was a golden performance from Ndiku. Koech,

:03:56.:04:09.

Brendan, was beaten. This man, had Mo Farah been here, they know all

:04:10.:04:19.

about Ndiku. When you have got 1,500 metre pace, you come into a 5,000

:04:20.:04:23.

metre race and they leave it to the last couple of laps and maybe there

:04:24.:04:29.

is only one result. The World Indoor Champion becomes the Commonwealth

:04:30.:04:32.

Champion. This will be a great Kenyan athlete. That was a superb

:04:33.:04:37.

performance. The last couple of laps - 60 seconds, 57 seconds and 26

:04:38.:04:42.

seconds for the last 200 metres. I am really pleased for young

:04:43.:04:46.

Robertson from New Zealand, he ran a really good race. I prefer it, Steve

:04:47.:04:51.

- I know you don't - I like it when the 5,000 metres runners run the

:04:52.:04:55.

finish out of the 1,500 metre runners. Nick Willis wasn't able to

:04:56.:05:03.

stay with the big boys. This man is extremely good, extremely powerful,

:05:04.:05:06.

extremely strong and a worthy winner. I know Paula Radcliffe would

:05:07.:05:17.

have enjoyed the effort of the Robertsons - they are almost Kenyans

:05:18.:05:23.

themselves, they live there! Paula, what did you make of that? They are

:05:24.:05:27.

very used to getting in there and racing it and training amongst the

:05:28.:05:32.

Kenyans. They showed that they plong in there today. It was such a shame

:05:33.:05:38.

to see Jake go down. Zane Robertson committed and it was great to see

:05:39.:05:44.

Andy Vernon and Thomas Farrell have good runs. They are getting more at

:05:45.:05:49.

home in these kind of surroundings. Ndiku had a lot of pace at the end.

:05:50.:05:53.

It would have been nice to see a race between himself and Mo Farah

:05:54.:05:56.

and see is what would have been the outcome then. He controlled that

:05:57.:05:59.

race and the Kenyans between them controlled it and he ran out the

:06:00.:06:08.

strongest winner there. Off he goes on his lap of honour. That's Kenya's

:06:09.:06:14.

second gold medal, having won the Women's Marathon earlier on today.

:06:15.:06:18.

He was very much the favourite. They were favourites to win the Women's

:06:19.:06:22.

Marathon. I don't think Kenya would have accepted anything else. Caleb

:06:23.:06:30.

Mwangangi Ndiku, a great run. New Zealanders are very, very proud -

:06:31.:06:34.

and so they should be. Zane Robertson, his brother, Jake, fell.

:06:35.:06:44.

You can probably hear this big crowd cheering for Siosi, from the Solomon

:06:45.:06:49.

Islands. They are on their feet! This is what the Commonwealth Games

:06:50.:06:53.

is about. You come here to compete in one of the tougher events and

:06:54.:06:58.

well done to him. He was voted the sportsman of the

:06:59.:07:09.

year in the Solomon Islands and there is his bid to be the sportsman

:07:10.:07:16.

of the year in 2014! This crowd have seen a great race today. They have

:07:17.:07:20.

seen a great future champion. It would have been wonderful for us,

:07:21.:07:23.

Steve, if Mo Farah had been here today. It would have been a terrific

:07:24.:07:27.

race. He would have had to have been at his very best to beat this man,

:07:28.:07:31.

who is getting better. He is only 21. He is a character, as well as a

:07:32.:07:38.

great runner. That was a performance to go alongside some of the best.

:07:39.:07:41.

There they are, down the back straight. Suddenly, Ndiku stretches,

:07:42.:07:48.

Koech is under pressure. And Zane Robertson of New Zealand fighting

:07:49.:07:56.

for that bronze medal. He wants it, he's gone to live in Kenya to try to

:07:57.:08:00.

train for it. We are looking at the man with the golden hair on his way

:08:01.:08:05.

to a gold medal. A terrific performance. Junior champion at the

:08:06.:08:10.

cross-country. He had to work for this one. Impressive distance

:08:11.:08:18.

running from a man who, I'm sure, we will hear a lot about in the future.

:08:19.:08:24.

He will be absolutely delighted to have done that performance in a

:08:25.:08:27.

stadium with a response like this. What a great day it's been in

:08:28.:08:31.

Glasgow today and what a great performance they have witnessed here

:08:32.:08:39.

today, too. Another great distance gold medal for Kenya. I have always

:08:40.:08:44.

liked watching this guy. I like them with a bit of character. They bring

:08:45.:08:49.

it out on to the track, Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku has always done

:08:50.:08:52.

that. He has talked about how he wants to be a great champion. He's

:08:53.:08:58.

now got two gold medals - World Indoor Champion and now the

:08:59.:09:03.

Commonwealth Champion. Poor Koech having to settle for a silver. That

:09:04.:09:07.

was a good race in second place. Good performance by Koech. Ndiku,

:09:08.:09:16.

remember, has already run 3.29 for 1,500 metres as well. This man will

:09:17.:09:22.

win more gold medals in the future. His last lap is powerful. 2.26 for

:09:23.:09:32.

the last 1,000 metres. Nick Willis, it was a brave effort, wasn't it? He

:09:33.:09:37.

said, "I think I can come and do some danger." If they are going to

:09:38.:09:43.

run a 54 last lap, he said he could contend with that. The trouble is,

:09:44.:09:47.

you have to be with them when they start that last lap! Well done to

:09:48.:09:52.

Ndiku. We will see Willis again in the 1,500 metres. A dance of delight

:09:53.:09:56.

for Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku. Well done.

:09:57.:10:02.

STUDIO: That race had everything. If this is the Games where a few of the

:10:03.:10:06.

stars are missing, it is time for others to step up to the plate and

:10:07.:10:11.

say, "I'm going to be a star of this sport." Ndiku, not only can he

:10:12.:10:17.

produce the goods on the track, he has the moves, and he has the

:10:18.:10:20.

charisma, the way he is with the crowd. He enjoys the performance and

:10:21.:10:26.

he is a racer? He is. He gets fired up for the race. He wanted to come

:10:27.:10:33.

here and show what he could do in the Commonwealth Games. It was a

:10:34.:10:37.

title that mattered to him. He talked a lot about getting ready for

:10:38.:10:44.

this race. He's come here very ready to attack and to control that race

:10:45.:10:50.

and his last lap was very, very impressive. The change of gear was

:10:51.:10:54.

very impressive. It would have been an interesting head-to-head had Mo

:10:55.:10:57.

Farah been fit to see what damage they could do to that last lap and

:10:58.:11:02.

the times they could achieve. At the other end, Denise - I know you were

:11:03.:11:09.

particularly warmed by the reception for Siosi - he was two laps behind

:11:10.:11:14.

everybody else at the end. The man from the Solomon Islands was given

:11:15.:11:18.

just the most beautiful reception by this crowd? Beautiful to watch. A

:11:19.:11:26.

standing ovation. They were shouting, clapping, screaming for

:11:27.:11:30.

him. Just cheering him on, willing him on, embracing him for his great

:11:31.:11:37.

efforts and he didn't quite have the moves... Like Jagger there! His

:11:38.:11:42.

little face when he crossed the line, appreciating how much the

:11:43.:11:46.

crowd welcomed him home. If you are under any doubts that Ndiku wants

:11:47.:11:51.

more attention, you don't dye your hair that shade, do you? He

:11:52.:11:56.

delivered today and you can do that when you deliver. He was one of

:11:57.:12:00.

those athletes that stepped up here at the Games. This Championship will

:12:01.:12:05.

bode well for him in the future. He has a bright future ahead of him.

:12:06.:12:10.

There's a lot more to come. It was a race that was looking like it was

:12:11.:12:15.

going to be slow at the start, it looked like it would revolve around

:12:16.:12:20.

the fast finishers and the Robertson brothers who have been based in

:12:21.:12:26.

Kenya, they had to jostle and in the end, poor Jake... They worked as a

:12:27.:12:31.

team. We talk about the Kenyans working as a team. The New

:12:32.:12:36.

Zealanders try to do that. His brother went down, it is nice to see

:12:37.:12:40.

them being able to share that bronze medal together. You can hear in the

:12:41.:12:50.

background, of course, the anthem for Australia, Jody Elkington has

:12:51.:12:58.

won the gold in the long jump. Let's wrap up with what we have seen

:12:59.:13:02.

today. We started with the marathon. We got on to the track with the

:13:03.:13:10.

shortest distance of all, the Men's 100m heats. Nine of those. Who were

:13:11.:13:18.

you impressed with today? The Jamaicans were strong. Richard

:13:19.:13:28.

Thompson comes here with the fastest time of all of the Commonwealth

:13:29.:13:32.

athletes. He had to qualify on time. A lot of those athletes will go to

:13:33.:13:38.

sleep tonight, they will be happy to have only a semifinal and a final

:13:39.:13:43.

because normally you are going through four rounds. We should see

:13:44.:13:47.

some fast times tomorrow in the semifinals. As for the women, there

:13:48.:13:52.

was one lady who looked to be in the kind of form that's going to see her

:13:53.:14:04.

on to the podium? For me, she was in a class of her own in that 100m.

:14:05.:14:15.

Effortless running. She coasted home after 40m. The 100m looks like it is

:14:16.:14:29.

good. We finish with a classic 5K, and a star that's been born at the

:14:30.:14:34.

front of that race? Yes, Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku showed the promise

:14:35.:14:38.

that he's shown in the junior ranks. He earned that victory there today.

:14:39.:14:41.

It was impressive. Thank you very much. We have so much more to look

:14:42.:14:45.

forward to over the next few days, not least tomorrow, those semifinals

:14:46.:14:52.

and the finals for the Men's 100m and the Women's 100m. The 1,500m

:14:53.:15:00.

also starts tomorrow. Right now, we will hand you book to Hazel.

:15:01.:15:05.

What a character, Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku. He was terrific. That was

:15:06.:15:12.

Kenya's second gold of the Games and in fact second gold of

:15:13.:15:13.

Kenya's second gold of the Games and in fact second gold the day after

:15:14.:15:16.

their victory in the Men's Marathon. It is slightly sad to say that this

:15:17.:15:21.

is the final day of the track cycling from Sir Chris' Velodrome.

:15:22.:15:26.

It is. We are going to show you some of the highlights from what has been

:15:27.:15:31.

a stunning afternoon. Let's show you some of the key moments from what

:15:32.:15:35.

has been the great watchable events of the last few weeks.

:15:36.:15:49.

events in the Para-sport, with Neil Fachie and MacLean winning twice.

:15:50.:15:50.

events in the Para-sport, with Neil Fachie and MacLean winning And in

:15:51.:15:54.

the women's events, it is the tandem time trial. These two took silver in

:15:55.:16:03.

their sprint behind Sophie Thornhill and Helen Scott, who took the gold

:16:04.:16:07.

for England. So would there be a reversal of fortunes this time? All

:16:08.:16:15.

eyes on the velodrome. There is a hush around the

:16:16.:16:37.

velodrome. That looked to be a very clean start from the Scottish pair.

:16:38.:16:43.

So important not to fight against each other. But there is a long way

:16:44.:16:49.

to go. Only four laps in total, which does not sound much, but it

:16:50.:16:53.

feels a lot further when you are on the track. Louise following a

:16:54.:16:58.

beautiful line. They are going really well here. Can they keep it

:16:59.:17:15.

going? And the world goes up around the arena. They are nearly a second

:17:16.:17:21.

and a half quicker than that this time so far. Everyone will be up on

:17:22.:17:32.

their feet for McGlynn. A superb ride from Aileen McGlynn

:17:33.:17:40.

and Louise Haston. What is it about the Scottish tandems? I have got

:17:41.:17:46.

goose bumps! Unbelievable. That was such a well paced ride by the

:17:47.:17:50.

Scottish pair. They were very composed out of the gate. They took

:17:51.:17:54.

some time-out of the Australian tandem in the first couple of laps,

:17:55.:17:57.

but they saved the best till the end. They looked good all the way.

:17:58.:18:12.

They were smoothly out of the gate and quickly into their stride. That

:18:13.:18:23.

was superb tandem riding from the pair of them. Aileen is a very good

:18:24.:18:31.

Stokoe, very steady on the back. A very smooth pedal. And Louise worked

:18:32.:18:37.

hard on making sure the bike is staying on the bottom of the track.

:18:38.:18:45.

She did a great job. Piloted tandems on the road as well as on the track,

:18:46.:18:50.

and used that experience today for a superb time. We have two more

:18:51.:18:53.

tandems still to come, but there is a threat to this first place,

:18:54.:18:59.

because O'Connor from Australia, with Hargrave, and Sophie Thorn from

:19:00.:19:05.

England, piloted by Helen Scott, are still to go out. They will be

:19:06.:19:10.

putting for some time as they recover, the Scottish pair. A 1:

:19:11.:19:32.

09.7, they are delighted, because that is a superb time to achieve at

:19:33.:19:45.

sea level. That time could be good enough to win. Look at Louise

:19:46.:19:49.

Haston, she is in bits. She could barely raise her arm to acknowledge

:19:50.:19:59.

the crowd. They put so much into it. There has been a lot to cheer about

:20:00.:20:39.

over the last couple of days. Four laps of the track for this

:20:40.:20:43.

Australian pairing. Very clean start by the Australians. They have lost a

:20:44.:21:08.

couple of tenths of a second. The Australian pair don't look as

:21:09.:21:10.

composed as the Scottish pair before them. The pilot is already rocking

:21:11.:21:15.

and rolling a bit on the front of the bike, and that is only at half

:21:16.:21:20.

the distance. They will have to pull something out of the bag. Unless it

:21:21.:21:32.

is a stupendous final lap, it looks as if Aileen McGlynn will remain in

:21:33.:21:41.

the lead, with just ?1 to go. - -- one tandem to go.

:21:42.:21:55.

They are still recovering from that ride. You could see the difference

:21:56.:22:04.

in the composure of the Australians, compared to the Scottish pair. They

:22:05.:22:11.

were losing their four on the back of the bike, the more fatigue they

:22:12.:22:17.

felt as the laps went on. And that told in their final time. It is a

:22:18.:22:24.

good time. It will definitely guarantee them bronze. Technically,

:22:25.:22:34.

it was not as good as the Scottish tandem. The Scottish tandem were

:22:35.:22:42.

almost glued to the black line. The Australians were much close to the

:22:43.:22:47.

red line. They were travelling much further up, and that meant they

:22:48.:22:50.

would have done much more than a kilometre. We have got one tandem to

:22:51.:23:00.

go. The Scottish pair lead the way. Do you think the English pair are

:23:01.:23:08.

the favourites? Or do you think we have already seen the winning team?

:23:09.:23:14.

It is a nervous wait. Helen Scott and Sophie Thornhill are on form.

:23:15.:23:19.

They qualified well on Thursday. They are probably just the

:23:20.:23:24.

favourites with this crowd, but they are in patient to see another gold

:23:25.:23:29.

medal. You can see Aileen, being congratulated by her team-mates, who

:23:30.:23:38.

are warming down. Helen Scott was impressive in the sprint competition

:23:39.:23:43.

on the front of that tandem. She is clearly very focused, and she was

:23:44.:23:50.

decisive in what she did on the track. Helen is a superb sprint

:23:51.:23:55.

pilot. Very experienced on a solo bike. She has got some cheeky moves.

:23:56.:24:02.

She nicked inside on the final. And she and Sophie have a good

:24:03.:24:07.

partnership. The big thing for Sophie Thornhill is Rio in a couple

:24:08.:24:15.

of years' time. But at 18, she is already a double world champion and

:24:16.:24:18.

the time trial world record holder. As we mentioned earlier, she would

:24:19.:24:22.

normally be partnered by Rachel James, as was the case earlier this

:24:23.:24:27.

year. There were some trials for the pilot for Sophie earlier this year.

:24:28.:24:31.

Helen Scott and Rachel James went head to head for that. Rachel James

:24:32.:24:35.

was chosen on that occasion. head to head for that. Rachel James

:24:36.:24:37.

was chosen But since the World Championships, Helen and

:24:38.:24:38.

head to head for that. Rachel James was chosen But since the Sophie have

:24:39.:24:42.

been working as a partnership and we will see what the fruits of that

:24:43.:24:43.

Labour are. 1: 09 is the time to beat. Helen

:24:44.:25:03.

Scott it at the front of the tandem, out of the saddle as they

:25:04.:25:07.

get on top of the gear and start to power around the bottom of the

:25:08.:25:11.

track. Already up on the Scottish pair. But they will know that the

:25:12.:25:16.

time set by the Scottish pair is incredibly good. It is no foregone

:25:17.:25:21.

conclusion that they will go quicker. They are flying. At the

:25:22.:25:37.

halfway mark, they are quicker. For sprinters like Helen and Sophie,

:25:38.:25:40.

this is where they have to try and clean onto that speed. -- cling on.

:25:41.:25:51.

This should be a last lap to glory and a second gold medal at these

:25:52.:25:54.

games for the English tandem, we have to wait and see. It really

:25:55.:26:06.

hurts, but the time is really good. One of the half seconds faster than

:26:07.:26:12.

the Scottish tandem of Aileen McGlynn. The gold medal goes to

:26:13.:26:16.

England and to Sophie Thornhill, piloted by Helen Scott. The English

:26:17.:26:21.

tandem wins for the second time this week. A superb ride by the English

:26:22.:26:25.

pair. Helen Scott shaking her head. I don't believe they -- I don't

:26:26.:26:30.

think they can believe how fast they have ridden. Stunningly quick all

:26:31.:26:38.

the way through that right. -- ride. They were well up on the time set by

:26:39.:26:42.

the Scottish tandem on the first time check. There was never any

:26:43.:26:49.

doubt about it. Sophie Thornhill, what a star of para- cycling she

:26:50.:26:53.

already is and will be over the years to come. Superbly executed by

:26:54.:27:00.

the English pair. Those first few heads, trying to get the tandem up

:27:01.:27:04.

to speed, really takes it out of the legs. But they work hard on that in

:27:05.:27:13.

their training. Helen Scott piloted it right on the black line around

:27:14.:27:21.

every single banking. They did not need to dip, they were well in the

:27:22.:27:33.

lead. Iain Dyer celebrating their, the English track coach. Soon, the

:27:34.:27:39.

riders will be extricated off the tandem and can their celebration.

:27:40.:27:47.

Sophie Thornhill with the gold, Aileen McGlynn with silver and a

:27:48.:27:51.

bronze for Australia. Yes, they have done a Neil Fachie

:27:52.:27:59.

and MacLean for England. The Scots got the medal rush on the go on

:28:00.:28:06.

Thursday in the sprint. We are now going to see the women's points

:28:07.:28:14.

race. This is the race of 100 laps. Very strong home nations

:28:15.:28:17.

representation in this. We join it with 20 laps to go in the company of

:28:18.:28:23.

Simon Brotherton and Rob Hayles. Laura Trott, reasonably well

:28:24.:28:30.

positioned. Amy Cure leads the way. Buchanan of New Zealand is in third.

:28:31.:28:34.

Now Laura Trott makes a move on the outside. Here comes Laura Trott,

:28:35.:28:43.

into the finishing straight. Laura Trott takes five. An Amy Cure, who

:28:44.:28:51.

was second, has only managed to take one point. Laura Trott is the new

:28:52.:28:58.

leader Oval. She now leads from four points. She got herself extremely

:28:59.:29:05.

well positioned and made the most of it. She put a lot of effort into

:29:06.:29:10.

that, as she needed to. A British, world, Olympic champion. Now, is

:29:11.:29:16.

Laura Trott honing in on becoming a Commonwealth Games champion as well?

:29:17.:29:34.

We have got 18 laps to go. There is a lot of looking around here among

:29:35.:29:42.

the riders. With ten points left on offer, anybody in the top seven

:29:43.:29:49.

could still win this race. It is so open. Georgia Williams, the

:29:50.:29:52.

20-year-old from New Zealand, at the front at the moment. She has a bit

:29:53.:29:59.

of a gap, but does not seem keen on trying to make it count. She just

:30:00.:30:01.

waits for the pack to catch up. Now on the front is King with Laura

:30:02.:30:16.

Trott on her wheel and Wales and Scotland up to the front as well.

:30:17.:30:21.

For Team England it is Laura Trott on the wheel of Dani King. The

:30:22.:30:39.

English coach is getting a bit anxious. Laura Trott is moving too

:30:40.:30:46.

far back for his liking. She is boxed in as well. If anyone can

:30:47.:30:51.

unbox themselves, Laura Trott is the one to do it. I would like to see

:30:52.:30:55.

her further up as the danger group, these three Australians, they have

:30:56.:30:58.

got themselves in an extremely good position here, three laps out from

:30:59.:31:02.

the next sprint. Laura has herself on the wheel of Katie Archibald. Amy

:31:03.:31:15.

Cure is in a great position. Katie Archibald is further back. You are

:31:16.:31:19.

right, Laura Trott will have to go a long way around the outside. She is

:31:20.:31:22.

about three-quarters of the way back in this peloton. I don't think she

:31:23.:31:26.

will be contesting this sprint. She will save it for the final one,

:31:27.:31:32.

which is a gamble. Dani King is the one who is there. It is the wrong

:31:33.:31:36.

English rider. Elinor Barker will have to go for this one here for

:31:37.:31:40.

Wales. That is what she is going to do. Elinor Barker hits the front

:31:41.:31:46.

now. She goes over the top of Edmondson and Amy Cure goes chasing

:31:47.:31:50.

after her. Katie Archibald is in third place. Dani King is fourth.

:31:51.:31:57.

Can Elinor Barker hang on and get the five points in yes, she can! --

:31:58.:32:05.

get the five points? Yes, she can! Elinor Barker is now in the gold

:32:06.:32:09.

medal position. What a thrilling finish and Amy Cure is only two

:32:10.:32:13.

points behind Laura Trott in third place. Well, this is so open now. It

:32:14.:32:19.

is all going to come down to this final sprint. Elinor Barker, 35

:32:20.:32:30.

points, that rider, she has taken the lead from Laura Trott. Elinor

:32:31.:32:41.

Barker has been consistent throughout this race. Here is an

:32:42.:32:49.

attack, Lauren Ellis, there is confirmation of the overall

:32:50.:32:52.

standings in the race at this particular moment in time. One

:32:53.:32:58.

sprint to come. Lauren Ellis, if she wins this final sprint, it will make

:32:59.:33:02.

no difference whatsoever to the final overall medals. But if they

:33:03.:33:06.

allow her to take a lap, she will nip herself up an extra 20 points

:33:07.:33:11.

and take the win. I don't think the peloton will allow this New Zealand

:33:12.:33:14.

rider to go too much further. They will be winding it up as we go into

:33:15.:33:20.

the last half dozen laps here. It is the British circuit race champion on

:33:21.:33:23.

the front of the peloton, Lauren Ellis out in front by the best part

:33:24.:33:28.

of a length of the straight. I don't think she is going to be a factor

:33:29.:33:32.

here in this race. The chase is very much on. All eyes on the leading

:33:33.:33:34.

riders in the field. The catch is made. It's all back

:33:35.:33:53.

together now. This is going to be a big lead now for this final sprint.

:33:54.:34:02.

Lydia Boylan making a move for Northern Ireland. Inside the last

:34:03.:34:09.

four laps of the race. Laura Trott beginning to move up in the peloton.

:34:10.:34:14.

Boylan on the front. There is a little gap back to Laura Brown,

:34:15.:34:18.

Katie Archibald, followed by Elinor Barker, making sure she is up

:34:19.:34:21.

towards the front. Laura Trott there, too. And Jo Rowsell is

:34:22.:34:37.

getting involved. She needs to get involved. I don't think she's -

:34:38.:34:42.

she's run out of gas now. Laura Trott is making her move. Here we

:34:43.:34:46.

go, the last lap. What a final lap it is going to be. As Katie

:34:47.:34:51.

Archibald goes around the outside of Lydia Boylan. Elinor Barker is on

:34:52.:34:54.

her wheel. Coming around on the outside it is Laura Trott for

:34:55.:34:58.

England. Scotland lead the way with Katie Archibald, she is trying to

:34:59.:35:03.

hang on. It is Laura Trott who gets ahead of Katie Archibald on the

:35:04.:35:15.

line! Rushlee Buchanan takes one, what a race, what a finish! And

:35:16.:35:20.

Laura Trott delivered again when it mattered at the end. Katie Archibald

:35:21.:35:34.

taking that final sprint. Another crowd-pleaser there for the Scottish

:35:35.:35:41.

rider. A photofinish between Katie Archibald and Laura Trott at the

:35:42.:35:49.

end. Laura Trott has won that race. Oh, Laura Trott and Elinor Barker

:35:50.:35:59.

finishing on 37 points. And Katie Archibald up into third on 33 with

:36:00.:36:05.

that finish right at the end. Laura Trott takes the Commonwealth title.

:36:06.:36:11.

REPORTER: Congratulations, Commonwealth champion? I can't

:36:12.:36:14.

believe it. After the week I have had, my training was going really

:36:15.:36:18.

well and the morning of the IP, the evening before, I didn't feel very

:36:19.:36:22.

well and I went to the doctor and said I felt a bit weird. He said

:36:23.:36:27.

nothing was wrong. I woke him up saying something is wrong with my

:36:28.:36:31.

kidneys, it turned out I had a kidney infection. The IP was

:36:32.:36:34.

horrendous. Looking back, I don't think I should have done it. I got

:36:35.:36:38.

stuck into it. If anything, it opened me up for that race. I had

:36:39.:36:43.

nothing to lose, did I? I gave it my best shot. When I saw that Elinor

:36:44.:36:50.

was one point ahead of me, I thought I'm dying, but there is no way I'm

:36:51.:36:55.

losing this race! You had the luxury of not having to contest the

:36:56.:37:02.

penultimate sprint? Yes, well, if I had the legs, I would have gone for

:37:03.:37:05.

that sprint and tried to win it so I didn't have to do the last one. That

:37:06.:37:11.

is the way bike racing goes. I was in the wrong position and I didn't

:37:12.:37:14.

get any points. I needed one point at the end and I got it. We love to

:37:15.:37:17.

see you race. You do animate a race. at the end and I got it. We love to

:37:18.:37:23.

How special would it be to get on that podium with your team-mates?

:37:24.:37:26.

How special would it be to get on Unbelievable. What are the chances

:37:27.:37:30.

that we get one, two, three? Katie Archibald was disappointed that she

:37:31.:37:33.

hadn't got a medal and she had to ride another IP to get fourth. I was

:37:34.:37:41.

gutted for her. I am close with Katie. I was happy when I saw we got

:37:42.:37:46.

one, two, three. A great ride from Elinor Barker as well, a real mature

:37:47.:37:51.

ride? She is unbelievable at the minute, like. She is on fire. In a

:37:52.:37:57.

race like that, she would be going for laps, and she can sprint but she

:37:58.:38:02.

is not a sprinter. Congratulations. STUDIO: Stunning racing. For Laura

:38:03.:38:07.

Trott, a double gold medallist at London 2012, she is a multiple World

:38:08.:38:11.

Champion and now a Commonwealth champion. Brilliant home

:38:12.:38:16.

representation - Elinor Barker, she took a bronze in the scratch and

:38:17.:38:21.

Katie Archibald, she was so close in the individual pursuit with that

:38:22.:38:25.

fourth and she had a fifth in the scratch race and I know everybody in

:38:26.:38:29.

a little town about five miles north of here will be delighted with that.

:38:30.:38:36.

Sadly, that brings the curtain down on events at the Sir Chris Hoy

:38:37.:38:39.

Velodrome. There is still the road racing to come and the mountain

:38:40.:38:44.

biking. A lot to look forward to tonight with Gary - swimming finals

:38:45.:38:47.

to come. I will catch you tomorrow. Bye for now.
